'The Legend of Shade' Companion - An Adventure / Combat RP

Welcome to my first RP on The Furry Forums! You've reached the companion thread! This is here for OOC and any broad questions related to the roleplay. I am Arca Wyld and I will be managing this forum, along with being a participant in the roleplay.

Let's go over a couple basic rules!

I have a few questions. Like what's the setting? And what's the limit on magic? Is my two main questions. I'm assuming it's fantasy though.

And also for just for future reference please don't colour all of the talking. Certain colours are hard to see.

Oh good tip! Thank you. I can edit that in a little bit.


Setting is going to basically be an adventure; escorting my fur who hosts a very powerful demonic soul to the holy land to be purified, with plenty of evil factions along the way trying to stop us. Also will likely include the uncovering of a good faction truly being evil or something like that. That's the jist.


I mean, there's no real limit on the magic. As long as it's not in terms of god-modding I'm okay with everything just about.

No worries at all! You all are doing great,I am honestly just glad to be RPing again!


I'll have a pretty lengthy post up soon, I had it done but I lagged and it caused it to all go away so I must rewrite it... We're gonna get the actual story rolling now. Hope you guys are ready for some combat!

Not sure if this is above my skill level or not but eh I wanna give it a shot.


Mostly because a character I'd like to use more might fit in nicely with the setting.

Awesome! I'll add you to the roster, post when you feel ready! I think we should establish a posting order as well, that was there's little confusion and the story will be a little easier to follow...


Also anybody heard from Smithie? I've tried to check on him but he hasn't been online, dunno if any of you personally know him.

A posting order does sound like a good idea. May want to set a time limit for how long we should wait on someone to post though.


Gonna not get Maxwell involved with that big bad thing too quick, chances are he'd be unlikely to help without good reason.


As for Smithie I don't know him personally.

I'm a bit afraid to post, since a posting order is in consideration, and there isn't anything that I could do that would move the story along in any way. I'll wait this one off until the plot is moving along or a post order is established.

And no, I don't know anything about Smithie or what he's doing.

EDIT: To be more clear, yes. I agree with having an order.

Don't be afraid to post! I don't want to establish an order until I get most ok's from the group. Just throwing it out there. I'm waiting a little longer to see if Smithie returns and if not we may have to move on... It's been quite some time since he has been on. I'll likely make a post this evening.

My advice would be one skip, then wait a day or two, give smithie the chance to see it, after that skipping again may leave him to far behind so it'd be continue without him or let the RP grind to a halt and risk slow death.
