About time i made a decent rp, too... <<
~ Once upon a time, there were a band of genies who decided to have a little fun. So they decided to create the Samanid, magical coins that granted one wish for every coin. The coins themselves were made out of silver and were also very valuable. If the coin was rubbed repeatedly, one of the genies in the group would come out and grant the person a wish. The wishes should only be small ones, but any thing is possible. In other words... be careful what you wish for... ~

It's Friday the 13th... of July. The year is 2007 and we're in the small town of Whitehaven, England. A small town that's full of tradition and everyone knows everyone. There are many young people there who dream of leaving the town to go to the big city and there are those who don't mind the quiet life. But all of those people's life are about to change, as thirty strange coins fall from the sky and into the village. Some land in the open, some land in the people's very rooms. What are you going to wish for?

This is a very freeform rp. The players can decide the direction of this rp. It can turn into anything you want it to be. Wish for fantasy, action, magic, moar furries? Done! You want to gain skillz? Done! If you want the wish to screw up, then that's what happens. I'm not a GM nor do I intend to be one. I'm just another player. Feel free to make whatever character you want. Use yourself! Have fun! Just remember, "every action has a consequence" and "Everything has a weakness". If you plan to become a evil overlord, you must have a weakness. And for the sake of the rp, don't wish for world domination. If you want that, then wish to become someone who can take it over. Alright, is that all? KTHXBAI. Commence Roleplay!

Age: 16
Race: panda
Appearance: a strange blue panda with long blue hair in a ponytail in the back.
Personality:A quick wit and corny and senseless humor annoys a lot of people.
Quick Bio: He never moved out of his hometown of Logan, Ohio until he heard about the rest of the world. His parents supported his decision to move to England to retrace his roots. He likes nice open spaces and quiet areas, and Whitehaven is the perfect spot for him. Not too loud.
Other notes: He has ADD.

Name: Jacob Austin Herd
Age: 17
Race: Black wolf.
Appearance: A completely black furred wolf with amethyst eyes. He wears a black t-shirt with a large, white pawprint on it and some blue tattered jeans, along with some black sneakers. He has some square glasses mounted on his muzzle and wears a runed bracelet on his right wrist, a black digital watch on the left plus a small golden ankh necklace.
Personality: Kind and loyal. A very friendly fellow and like to consider himself "wild and free".
Quick Bio: Moved from America with his father to experience the country side. He's been here a few weeks now, but hasn't gained any friends, much to his boredom.
Other notes: He's a bit deaf.

Name: Sora Saphir Fallen

Race: Tiger-Wolf Halfbreed
Appearance: black fur with random orange stripes, a black tail and a silver underbelly.
Personality: Very shy, takes to work seriously, has very little impatience for anything, and has a tendency to take her time with things that normally need to be rushed...
Quick Bio: She has lived in Whitehaven for a year now, she moved away from her parents and by law, she is old enough to be on her own. She lives by herself on the outskirts of Whitehaven, warning travelers the dangers and quiet of her town.
Other notes: has a slight problem with people getting in her way, she doesn't like male furries much; especially ones that are normally stupid-acting.
Sora walked along the porch of her two story house. She wished it would stop raining. A thump sounded ad she felt something land in her jacket hood. "What's this?" She askedm, pulling out a silver coin. She could see some kind of writing on the face of it and she started rubbing it to see it better. "Huh?" Smoke was rising from the coin.

Jesse, who is exhausted and worn out, walks out of the stage door, and into the rain. This was his worst performance ever. "Does it have to be this way?" He was about to leave when he felt something pelt his head and land on the ground. He looked up to curse the person who threw the stone, but saw no one. He looked down to search for the small stone, but only found a small coin. The coin looks brand new, so he decides to keep it. After a closer inspection, he notices that there are small writings on it.
Heading home, he decides to look at the coin in more detail. He put it behind a glass of water to get a better view of the coin, but the writings were in a foreign language, so he just placed it in his desk at the hotel.

Smoke continues to rise from the small, dirty coin until a wisp of smoke resembling a winged tiger-jaguar gargoyle pops out. "WTF?!!"
"You may have any small wish you like. Just one. What do you wish?" It asks, giving her a devillish smile and a condescending glare.
"i would like...no...hmm...?" She looked at it with a slow smile. "i think I'll wait. For now, do you get to come out often?"
"No...I do not..Only when people make their wishes then I return." It stopped glaring and relaxed a little, its eyes keeping a keen lookout for potential wishers.
"So you're only around long enough to wave your hands and grant a wish?" She was amazed, it seemed very cruel to do such a thing to someone. "How do you... become free?"
"Yes, only that long. And there is no surefire way. I only have one way..Its much too complicated for you to help with."

Jacob was sitting on a oil drum in the garage of his new house, staring out on the road with a lonely look on his face. He wanted someone, anyone to hang out with, but he was too shy to bother to contact anyone and on top of that, people seemed to avoid talking to him. Maybe they didn't like outsiders... He had a clear American accent, being from New York. He walked over to the wall and picked up his guitar, went back to the oil drum and started playing some random song... Maybe if he was lucky, someone would come listen to him and give him some money... If he was lucky...

Hearing music, Sora gently places the genies coin in her back pocket; noticing he disappears when she does so. "Very pretty.." She mumlbes. Coming upon the black wolf playing, she drops a few meager dollars down and sits beside him. "Hello. I'm Sora. Who're you?" She asks quietly.

Noticing that the rain is gone, he walks out, and starts to walk down the street. Today's performance sucked sac. He thought to himself. Maybe the European audience is not for m....... He heard a sound coming from a garage in the neighborhood. He sat down on the curb, and listened to the wonderful music coming from the area. Too afraid he might get shooed away, he just sits there.

He stopped playing, as the girl sat down next to him. "Uh... I'm Jacob..." He looked down at the dollars. "You american? 'Cause... Dollars are no good here..." He glanced back at the girl... He had a somewhat... worried look on his face... He looks a bit uncomfortable, too... Although... The girl was a bit cute...

Appearance: Black with gray highlights, and very silver paws.
Personality: Loyal, yet independent. Strong willed, yet physically weak (compared to other wolves)
Quick Bio:
-Left wolf pack (more like was abandoned) at age of 12
-Very domestic animal. (Enjoys being petted and what not, although, not many people dare pet a stray wolf)

*Slams the cupboard door shut and puts a pot of water on the stove*
"It's hard to believe that I'd be one to inherit anything, considering my family abandoned me at the age of 12..."
*Turns to leave the kitchen, yet feels something cold on his foot*
"Whats this?"
"A coin? It doesn't seem to say what country it's from, maybe if I wash it off"
*Returns to the kitchen and prepares to wash the coin, suddenly his pot whistles, he quickly shuts off the stove and finishes his cocoa, forgetting about the coin*

"Yes, but only a little. I wanted to get rid of my american money at home but there was no one to take it....I guess you can have it." She notices the blush and the worried look and smiles warmly. "It's alright. I hate when these things happen." She turns a bit pink and hides under her cloak hood.

"Thanks, i guess..." He felt his ear twitch for some reason, it had a nasty habit of doing for no reason. "So... Why'd you come here...? Because of my guitar playing...?" He looked down at his guitar... It was old and beaten up, but sounded as good as any other guitar... He got it from his dad a few years ago, who also taught him to play... He felt himself blushing a bit again... Wonder why... Which is when it happened. Jacob felt something hit his head and he was knocked off the barrel (mostly due to the shock of being hit), landing on the concrete floor. The guitar landed with a... crash? Uh oh. Jacob looked to his left and saw a shattered guitar... He didn't even notice the strange coin that was lying next to him... He just stared at the broken guitar, feeling the tears flowing up and out of his eyes...

Hearing the crash and the thump, Sora looked over. "Oh my god. What happened? Are you okay?" She asked, getting off the barrel and helping him up. She noticed the guitar and wiped some of his tears away. "I can fix it. Don't worry." She reassures him, pulling the coin out and rubbing it.
"Yes?" He looks at the guitar, her and the boy. "Let me guess? Fix the guitar?" He shrugged, he was used to stupid things like this.
"No. I want you free and then you can fix the guitar. How do you do it?" She was pondering how far she'd go to free him then decided to the end of time. He was very lonely and he seemed sad to have to go back into the coin so soon. "What's your name?"

He was helped up and felt his tears wiped away... He couldn't help but feel like a child. He looked up and saw the... person floating in front of him... His jaw dropped... What the heck was that...? It reminded him a lot of a genie... "S-Sora... Wha..." He could barely speak... He was that shocked... Of course it was hella cool... But then again, you never saw stuff like this happening... Like, ever.

"Shocked son? I won't hurt you. And it'll take a while, would you be ready to kill someone to help me?" He asked her , cradling her hands in his. "You mean a lot to this furry, I couldn't ask much of you with him around."
"Jacob, are you ok?" She looked into his eyes for a few minutes then turned to the gargoyle. "Yes I would. He means a little to me as well but I would help you both no matter where it takes me." She turned back to Jacob and brushed his hair back from his face. "You sure you're ok?" She asked, worry turning her dark purple eyes bright. She removed her hood and smiled at him, offering her hand.

Age: 15
Race: Dragon
Appearance: Grey blue scales and wings. Electric blue hair and a long tail with a blue flame flickering on the end of it.
Personality: Friendly, bubbly but often very cowardly.
Quick Bio: Heather moved here from the busy city of Manchester. She was very popular there both with girls and boys, though she couldn't talk to new people without her firends. Despite this she was secretly very intelligent. Her rich family decided to downsize to a two story cottage in Whitehaven. Heather is NOT happy about this.
Other notes: She's very shy around people, especially males.
Music playing so loudly that she couldn't hear her parents tell her to turn it down, and reading the latest magazines (her parents had had them delivered from the nearest town, as the local newsagents didn't stock them), it was a suprise that Heather actually heard the coin land. But then, she had always had an ear for money. She pressed the off button on her CD player, and searched around the mess of a floor foor where she heard the coin land. After a bit of digging, she found the coin under an old pair of jeans, and studied it, trying to work out what it was. It was no coin that Heather had ever seen. It was decorated strangly too.
"Foreign..." she sighed, to no one in paticular, still holding the coin. She threw herself back onto the bed, and played with the coin in her hand. She decided to take herself outside, and find someone else who might know what it was. As she walked away from the house, she sighed, "Gawd, it's so boring here....sometimes I just wish our house was back n manchester..."

"Uh..." He blinked and wondered what the frig was going on. A genie and that girl... Why was it so hard to believe? It was right in front of his eyes... So why? He let out a annoyed sigh... He was annoyed at his sense of logic that was yelling in his head: "This isn't real, you idiot! It's a dream! Stuff like this isn't real!" Yeah... He didn't have much confidence in himself... He just grabbed Sora's hand and just let whatever happen...

She pulled him into a hug and burried her face in his neck, purring quietly. "You smell good."

Jacob blushed brightly. He had never been this close to a girl before... He had never been popular with the ladies, so he felt... very awkward right now... "Uh... Thanks..." He didn't really know what to say... or do, for that matter...
((As a little note, Broken, try not to post one-liners. It can be very hard to find how to reply to that. Two lines minimum, ok? If you get writer's block, then tell us. Ok? ))

She brought her face back let go of him, she was blushing rather hard now. "I'm sorry." She mumbled, looking at the ground furiously. She could be so dumb sometimes.
"Cute little one. Why not ask him to marry you?" He chuckled then groaned.
"SHUT UP!!" She yelled, kicking him in the face, claws out.
"That hurt. Ow." He muttered, rubbing the side of his maw.
"Good. It was supposed to." She snarled, her eyes narrowed. "Stupid gargoyle. Now you have a name. Keandred." She spat the name.

**Sipping some tea he sat down at his computer with the coin and tried to search for it. He thought he could make out some text on the coin so he rubbed the spec of dirt off of it, he set it down and searched for coin collecting websites, when suddenly the coin began to smoke, he set his tea down behind him and leaped behind the chair as a genie appeared to come out of the coin
Genie: Well, it certainly took you long enough to rub the coin boy.
"Who, who are you?"
Genie: All you need to know is I'm a genie, you found my coin, and you have one small wish.
"A genie, aren't those only in, like, fairy tales"
Genie: Come on kid you can have anything you want, a car, a pony
"You seem kind of, depressed..."
Genie: Yeah well, I generally don't get to see the light of day this long, come on, just get this over with so I can go back
"You mean, people just waste their wishes in seconds?"
Genie: Thats generally the case
"Well, I think I'll have to sleep on this one"
Genie: Unfortunately, I can't go back into my coin until you make a wish
Mack: Well then, I guess you're going to be up for a while, now, what do you mean by small?
** Mack nearly dozes off as the genie explains the limitations of his power

Jacob blushed, too. He just sat there watching Sora yell at the genie, who was now named Keandred, whatever that meant... ...He had no intention of saying something that would make this situation worse, either...

"Now go entertain yourself. I can't beleive how thick your head has to be. JUST GO!!" She screamed, sitting on the barrel with a huff and started working on the guitar. It would take a lot of patience and several days of plain work but she was determined to fix his guitar. She collected the peices and slipped into the growing fog, determination forcing her to run all the way home.
"Now where's my paper?'' She mumbled, pulling out some large paper and pencil. "Now, the body goes here..And the head here...The picks will stay here and the knobs here..." She mumbles under her breath, beginning to reconstruct Jacob's guitar into a drawing. After she had most of it, she started working on carving the body if it out of a wood block she had beside her. "I hope he'll play it better when he gets it back. I know it'll last longer if I fix it this way than if I glue it."
"Keandred..I like it." He snarled back, following her. She was still holding the coin out and he had no choice but to follow.

Jacob blinked at Sora, as she walked away... She was going to fix it, wasn't she? He still felt a bit sad, but also happy... He got a friend... He sighed and looked down... A coin... A... really weird coin... That was probably the thing that hit his head... He looked out of the garage, wondering who threw so hard at him. It effing hurt. A lot. Plus he broke his guitar in the fall. Whoever threw it, was... Who was he kidding? He had no intention of hurting anyone... He couldn't hurt a fly. Even if he was provoked. It's not that he couldn't, he just couldn't bring himself to injuring people... He sighed and put the coin into his pocket, as he walked into the house... It was dinner... He could smell the spaghetti out in the garage...

She had the body carved and started on the head, all the original peices were in place. "Now he needs it." She mumbles, carving the last peice and picks up the new guitar. "An exact copy. I love my work." She grins, painting it to look exactly like the old one. "Now for the gift and the finishing touch." She dabs a small red dot on the left-hand corner and paints a small, simple design out of spades.
"Are you sure he won't notice it's not the original?"
"Yes. He'll love it. I can feel it."

He had his dinner and talked about the stuff that happened in the garage... His father actually had trouble believing, but did anyway. He then went up to his room and lied down on the bed, as he pulled the coin out of his pocket. Didn't that girl have one just like it? Did that mean that he got to wish for something...? What should he wish for...? He had a feeling that he didn't need to wish for the guitar... But what should he wish for then...?

Quick Bio:When I was 14, I was given a wristwatch, it helped me with alchemy... I could only perform alchemy whilst wearing it...
One day I decided I'd try to do it without the watch...I aged 5 years, which made me turn 19, my B-day is Sep 21 so I turned 20

I caught the coin in my hand... "Hmm... I've heard about these... I'll use it later.. " I walked into a coffee shop..
"I'd like some tea, extra vanilla, extra sugar..."
I gave the guy a 5, took my tea, and walked out the door..
I sipped my tea and sat on a bench...

She walked through the almost empty steet. Occasionaly she saw someone hurry by with a bag of groceries or something else. She was still playing with the coin, when, balancing on the edge of the drain, she found a similar coin. She sighed, she would have been lucky had they been pound coins...
Soon, Heather came across an artic wolf sitting on a bench. He looked to have a coin just like mine. He was a few years older than me, and I was a bit of him, but he was the only person I'd seen with a coin like mine, so I sat down next to him.
"Uh, hi..."

After he walked over to the empty theater, he stepped inside. "Man. I love this, but I just can't do it anymore." He walks away, back to the hotel.

After she had coated the giutar in a final, polishing finish; Sora picks it up and places it in her guitar case. Carrying it on her back, she returns to the garage: waiting for jacob to come back out.
"Are you sure you shouldn't just leave it and walk back home? I noticed from your logs that you have many things you could be making right now. Why not go home and leave me here to guard it?"
"Nah, I'd rather like to see him open it. But thanks anyway."

Jacob heard someone in the garage and ran out, a bit surprised to see Sora. "Uh... Hi..." He glanced at the guitar case and wondered if that was his guitar...

She didn't know whether to just ask everything at once...or what. But she needed to know about these coins...and he had one too...
"Your coin...where'd you find it?" she asked.

My glass was empty.. I had a very tall glass...
I rubby the coin and muttered something..
My glass was refilled. I drank a bit of the tea.

After he arrives at the hotel, he takes out the coin, rubs it off to remove some of the dirt, and lays it down. Smoke starts to billow out of the small coin.
"What do you wish for?
"I get a wish? What kind of wish?"
"Any kind, but only one so use it wisely."
He stops to think about what he wants to wish for. He walks up to the coin, and mutters something.
Feeling nothing has changed, he falls asleep.

"Hey. I've finished it. Your guitar is done. Hope you like it." She blushes and scoots away from him, into the shadows.
"Smooth, very smooth." He mumbles in her ear.

Heather watched his glass refill in amazment. She realised with surprise and horror that she had wished her house in Manchester. Maybe she could wish it back with the other coin? But then...she would have wasted both her wishes.
Maybe she could have some fun with this wish she had instead...
Heather was slightly confused though, how did this person know about the coins...
"Why do you know so much?" she asked.

"I have various books in my library that I had to translate in order to find out the things I need, I recently found a book telling about these.... Wishing Coins..." I picked up a coin under my chair..

He wakes up to a roar of thunder outside his window. He gets up and looks out and sees a large crowd waiting there. "What the......?" he mutters to himself as he gets dressed (he sleeps in the nude).

I catapulted the coin into the air with my thumb then caught it a couple times.

Jacob watched as Sora snuck away. He walked over to the guitar case and opened it. He quietly wondered what it looked like and was surprised as he stared at the guitar... This girl... was good...

She watched him open the case and smiled at him.
"Sora, you think maybe you shoudl leave?" He asked, nudging her and raising an eyebrow.
"Sure. I'll let him be alone with his new guitar." Sora replies, walking out of the shadows. "You're welcome." She whispers as she walks past him into the snow.

Jacob took the guitar out of the case and sat down on the garage floor and tuned it. It took him a few minutes, but once he was done, he played a beautiful song that he played whenever he was down. It was a soft song... A calm song... And for some reason, it made his problems go away... To him... it was magic...
