Greetings :D I'm pretty new to the fandom, and was wondering if anyone here was talented in the realm of music theory and/or being able to play an instrument? I play many instruments myself, some of my favorites being the guitar, piano, and alto saxophone :D I also compose. Any composers out there as well?

I play Electric Guitar. Aswell, I ahve played Piano and trumpet in the Past. I compose some lyrics and parts of songs for the band i'm in.

I do better with my fingers on a guitar.

Ik it was a joke :P I get my musical ideas better with my paws on a piano.

I play strings. Lots and lots of strings. I focus on electric instruments for the most part but I do own a really nice acoustic violin. Kind of hard to play hard rock or metal on an acoustic violin. The five-string electric is much more suited to that.
Sadly all of my playing has to be routed electronically due to my living situation (lack of space, nosy neighbors). I only have a single amp, a tiny Roland Micro Cube, and none of the really fun gear. I use digital gear simulation and headphones when playing for the most part but I will be the first to admit that it doesn't sound very good at all. Every time I walk into a music store and hear somebody shredding on an actual amp I think, "someday..."

Yess, Violin is one of my favorite instruments as I find it beautiful sounding as well as being perfectly suited for other styles of music.
I love strings - plucked and members of the violin family. They've always been my favorite ^_^

I play a diddley bow which is a one stringed blues instruments. It's really fun to play, and simple to play as you can imagine. I also have a Casio WK-225 keyboard that I mess around on. I can't play it, but it's fun to play around with. I'm probably going to get lessons soon. I've also do bucket drumming if that counts. Haha

I play, write, compose etc. Have about 20 odd instruments. And a channel with over 100 vids and 50,000 views (so smaaaall) between them if anyone's interested. Nice to see lots of musically invested peeps in here.

I can play 6-7 string guitar and 4-5 string bass. I'm mainly a bassist as I prefer it over guitar, but I enjoy them both quite a bit!

Don't mean to brag but… All-State bari sax player honking loud and clear. Not too often have I found other saxophone players. I've also taken a beginners theory class and participate in a jazz band.

Drums! And I'm learning to play the electric keyboard. I used to play guitar and alto saxophone, but kinda dropped out after family/emotional bullcrap. Still passionate about those instruments though!

I've taken to playing guitar instead of fidgeting/daydreaming/whatever it is I do when I'm not doing something else. I'd like to think it sounds alright.

Piano is my main instrument, but I dabble with 5-string banjo and have a passing familiarity with tin whistle, clarinet, doumbek, xylophone, autoharp and I sing too.
