The OOC thread for Arctic wall, no longer a fun RP, but a serious one.

Just to be clear, this is the SAME RP, that's been moved. this is not a new RP.

Rules:
This is a fun RP with a capital FUN. Keep the bleak depressiveness from the other RPs out of it.
Only one Mech and pilot per person. Have as many Minor characters as you like. ^_^
Try not to godmod.
No powers, You have a fecking mech, you don't need powers.
Be as creative as you like with the Mechs, But remember they need to work OK around the ocean, a lot of this RP will take place in and around the water.

Name: Angder
Age: 23
Species: Wolf
Country of origin: America
Backstory: Angder joined the project pretty much as soon as the Mechs started being designed, he has been in them at all stages of development.
When they were mobilized, he was one of the first ones up to the wall. He loves his Mech, and is eager to test it.

Mech sheet:
Name/designation: FANGWALL
Design: A huge wolf, 12 Meters tall when Anthro. Has a giant axe, and a giant Rifle, usually positioned on its back, capable of morphing from being on two legs, and four. When on two legs it can draw its weapons for use against a variety of threats.
Country of origin: America

I am assuming we will skip through the debriefing, have each of you describe what you are going to say, (including theories ect) and then simply go straight to the summing up unless anyone has any objections?

By the way the reason I am not setting things up with most individuals is I am expecting you people to interact with each other. Right now we are in a period of calm.
When everyone has gone to bed IC (Or stated what they will be doing over night) I will time-skip forward a few days, maybe even a week, unless anyone has a serious objection. (obviously you can imply you have been doing things in the skipped time). Its to avoid having all the events happen within 24 hours of each other, I want to allow the world to develop.

I wish to formally apologize for the way I was treating this RP. I had forgotten the lighthearted scope of this RP. Therefore, I will cease posting for a while, so I can BS a fix for it, if you all don't mind.
Again, I'm sorry I started to take it in a downward path, and I want to make amends.
Also, this will notify me of replies now, so yay.

Its fine Ray. :3 If you want we can cure you over the timeskip. Just go to sleep in the Medical bay, and we don't even need to specify how unless you want to specify.

Age: 19
Species: Wolf
Country of origin: Japan
Backstory: Wayward, alongside his mainstream education, took an interest in engineering and combat systems, as well as striving to make english a secondary langauage. He passed his education at just above the average grades for a 18-year old, but showed finesse in many aspects of mechanical engineeing, lending himself perfectly for the mech program based in Japan. Only a few months later, he was transfered to the American garrison.

Mech sheet:
Name/designation: Experimental Weapons PLatform 0rr4x-1563v.1413 , or Orrax for short.
Design: Orrax's design is based around mobility and agility, making it better for clandestine attacks.It is based on a small frame, being only a little taller than Wayward himself, but has powerful compression-based mobilty aids within it's limbs. This increases it's jump height dramtically, but greatly limits it's carry capacity, to just one pilot and a melee weapon, with Wayward's choice being a pair of sickles, with reinforced layering capable of splitting most industrial-grade materials. The true strength of this technique remains untested.

you joined just AFTER the big event, another is coming, I would do it today but stuff is happening at my home and I want to give a chance for character building for you guys, and to establish the relationships between the characters. This is not a Micheal bay movie, I want to give room for plots, and motivations, as well as action and explosions.

the point of RPing is to be in character, you can't do that if you don't know who the characters ARE. This is why Evna switched her Char to Geoff. She did not have enough of a feel for Japathok

I think its dead. I let too many people in and no-one really knew what they were doing TBH, or that was the impression I got anyway. :$
I might try to restart it, but I think keeping the current thread going would be tricky.
Maybe a reboot, after the American base was destroyed by a giant squid? :P
