The setting would be science fiction and yes it is more then likely, knowing my history with serious RPs, get dark in terms of the storyline and obviously yes to the gore.
I'd like to have it set on a large ship, for example the size of the US, and maybe have it make a crash landing at some point onto a planet the size of our sun.
Let me know if you'd be interested or not down below and any ideas you have for it. :P

The scientist in me cringes at the idea of a planet the size of a sun (which I am 99% certain would cause all kinds of problems if we are going to land on it), might I recommend, if the plot allows, a dyson sphere (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyson_sphere) or similar instead, it would necessitate an intelligent alien race constructing it but it would be more believable.
Obviously if the plot does not involve aliens that does not work :P
yes, I am interested, space is awsome, and I like things with a darker edge.

And here's a thing, if you want a bunch of people on a ship, it doesn't need to be as big as the U.S. For example, a modern Nimitz class aircraft carrier has a compliment of about 3,200. And that isn't including the Air compliment (which is about 2,480). So it would be feasible that an even bigger, more complicated ship would hold onto the tens of thousands, maybe even a hundred.
Anyways, what's gonna be the tech? Guns, or plasma?
This is probably my favorite part of scifi, the military.
And how come my RP's never work? *grumble*

The story will have one main bad guy.... My old sona (Aakor Tigaris). Oh and one main bad supernatural being which, if anyone knows me well, shall be fairly easy to take a guess at by the little hints I'll make as the story goes.
Okay maybe a ship the size of the UK then? I mean this ship is meant to be cable of traveling from one galaxy to another, fighting all manors of creatures and other ships, hold years and years worth of supplies and be able to house huge training simulations that you actually move around in and not just plug yourself into a machine or computer.

hmm... well, maybe the size of fort hood, about 870 square kilometers, and lets say about twenty stories high (which is about 66 meters). so that'd be roughly 57420 cubic kilometers. which is a lot of space. Keep in mind, a good amount of this is dedicated to steel, or whatever bulkhead your dudes use. I think 57,420 square kilometers is enough.

I don't see why not. And since this is such a massive ship, It would need to carry massive amounts of propellant, and then you need more propellant to carry the more propellant, etc. so, we could operate off of a n asymmetric Casimir force To, in effect, sail across the void of space.

Yes but the problem is that that would require something to eject out of the thruster, with terrestrial jet engines, this is air, of which there is a near inexhaustible supply of. In the void of space, there is nothing. So, a spaceship would require more and more fuel to eject. In a "nuclear engine" a working fluid, usually liquid hydrogen, is heated to a high temperature in a nuclear reactor, and then expands through a rocket nozzle to create thrust.
Which requires liquid hydrogen to be ejected out of a rocket nozzle.
An asymmetric Casimir sail Would not require any fuel to eject put a nozzle, so if one were feasible, it would be perfect for long distance, long duration space travel.

also, forgive me if I am wrong, but once your spaceship is moving, you dont need to keep the engines on once your in space, momentum will keep you moving until something stops you, and in your own words In the void of space, there is nothing.

I don't think anything has been said about if there is FTL travel or not, though this is slower than light.
Personally, my favorite is the Alcubierre drive. It's FANCEH! Xp

Personality: tends to be timid at first, or aggressive if feeling threatened, and is normally fairly submissive.
Backstory: aside from being raised in a state of the art testing facility, not much is known of his past and why he acts the way he does around humans compared to other anthros.
Weapons of choice: 45. ACP pistols with laser sights and a 50.BMG sniper rifle with a thermal scope and laser pointer.
Clothes: wears a black tank top with a paw print on the back, faded grey baggy jeans with a pistol holster strapped to the right leg and a orange collar.
Abilities: pyrokenesis and shifting.

Personality: Constantly restless, generally tries to do the best for people, but his love of danger means he gets into trouble, a lot.
Backstory: Angder works on the ship as a sort of... free-form security guard, usually this would result in him being arrested himself, but unfortunately he is actually good at it, too good to simply have him go to waste in fact, any awkward case that standard security can't handle get passed to him
Weapons of choice: Single large pistol, claws, teeth.

Personality: somewhat sarcastic, though he tends to be level headed when in combat, and has a seemingly endless reserve of patience when needed.
Backstory: Captain Allen W. Shaw is the leader of the detachment of UEG marines, though he replaced the recently deceased Captain Naismith, who died due to a maintenance accident. Shaw doesn't believe it to be a mere accident, however
Weapons of choice: Shaw uses a Midtskogen DPP-2 handheld directed plasma projector, and carries a LtL-5 stunner pistol.
Clothes: He wears a black and gray set of security fatigues with his rank, medals, and a few merit ribbons on his chest most of the time, switching to a set of Vaccum sealed space armor when a serious threat presents itself. Otherwise, he wears a black beret with the UEG logo emplazoned on the front, and a set of non-issue tactical gloves.
