This thread was created so I could share my doodles, and maybe fanart, and anything else I "do the thing" for. Hah. X3

I guess you could call this a pen study but not really.
Anyway, I drew this cool seadragon like, five months ago. I used to draw dragons a lot. I was even asked if I was a scalie, and no, I am not.

Hey there!
So, I've done a few redraws over the past few days, and I figured I needed to update my art thread.
Now, I don't know if this will be a double message or not but whatever, here is my most recent drawing, the Pegadon!
If I were to use this as a sona, it would be a closed species until further notice.
A Pegadon is some weird thing I came up with in junior high.
It stands eight feet tall, weighs as much as a small car, flies like an Albatross and runs like an Ibex.

The drawing on the left is from 4th grade when I first draw this dog, and the drawing on the right is from two days ago.

So as AJ Shosa and I have been on collaborating, I've been doing my job with doodles of monsters and other dangerous creatures.
First is the Ruxeluxes. They are usually solitary, and have darker manes with light bodies. I have my own Ruxeluxes but not as a sona.
Second, I redrew this again, so he is going to be a creature too. A goat shaman I'm sure of it.

So I recently discovered a friend of mine was a fur and she couldn't tell anyone for all those fandom reasons. I offered to draw her sona, like the great lady deer fox I am, and here is the unfinished art. I plan on finishing this weekend and cramming for honor band. Hah.

P.S. Fandom reasons are why I just hang here, draw and write stories by myself - it's not lonely or secluded by the way. It's peaceful. I'm a loner by nature so between PMing my IRL buddies and messing here I get my fill of attention.
If anyone asks about my pics u just say they're 'Anthro, kinda like the Egyptian gods'. It's just easier than explaining the different layers of the fandom to every other person.
Sorry to fill your thread with my life choices/philosophical distractedness. Just thought I'd share - being furry is a lifestyle, a hobby. Not a condition. It gets me how people confide the two.

I also forgot to post this yesterday, but I drew my deceased dog in my health class yesterday. He died in July, and I was just doodling animals, like usual, and when I finished, I realized I had accidentally drawn my beagle. He looked kinda like this, but because I'm a cartoonist, it's not very accurate haha.

I'm guessing a Taun-Taun((??)) but I don't know because I've never seen Star Wars, and chances are, I may not for a while.

Possibly a Tauntaun, the Rancor was my first thought but couldn't think of anything with wings.
Moni... how have you not seen Star Wars? Isn't that illegal in some states?
I recommend you watch the original trilogy before the new movie comes out next year.
I like the prequels too, but they're just films, not Sacred Experiences of Oneness with the Universe.

I fixed the spelling. I didn't think I spelled it right. I didn't have any reference but thank you.
As for my art skills, ultimately, I have no idea how these came to be because I wanted a specific art style, reference multiple artists and ended up this one. Sometimes I don't like my art style, and it's really hard to change, but other wise I enjoy my art skills and style. Thank you Trixsie for thinking that it's so unique because it probably is but I seriously think it's lame, like me haha.

I'll think about it. Maybe I'll open commissions for pirate drawings… I don't know, but I'll wait until I have good paper, Copic markers, or at least decent colored pencils, and better art skills.

Copic markers are really fancy art markers. They are professional and I really want a case of 72, but I need to start working and saving up my money. And then I have to pay for gas… I'm not getting Ito that. But yeah. Fancy markers and good paper are key ingredients to a good commissioner, also art skill haha.

I had a 72 set of Derwent pencils and now I only have my 24 set :(
I mean I have a Faber Castell 48 set, but really *rolls eyes*
If it wasn't for my Derwent 12 set of metallics I wouldn't even bother. I keep saving my good paper for later... @.@

Saw them Copic markers at Officeworks a couple of days, got a few more pencils now they have the Derwents for individual sale and another brand that I thought I try out too.
Plus a set of boss glitter gel-pens!

Finished commission for Kamina, if this name is spelled properly. I'm sorry about the fur. I had been looking at your reference picture then when I checked to sure it was right, I was wrong. But I still hope you enjoy it!
AJ!!!! Okay! Well, Aaron Blade in my art style looks pretty neat, except for his hands… I can't draw hands… but I was told that the way Aaron was standing was really cool, so I hope you like this!
Now to start the commission for Maska. I'm sorry I'm taking forever. I've had a long week and I'll try to get that com started today when I finish cleaning and doing laundry. It shouldn't take me long.

SO TODAY in my biology class I was bored and a friend of mine asked me if I was drawing a goat hybrid with a dragon or cat or dog. And though they may sound cool, which actually, goat cats look pretty neat, if you can get the paws right, I was feeling pretty adventurous and made this goat bird. Bird goat. Albatross Pygmy. Idk it's a goat and bird.
I am aware of proportions, but I have a really weird imagination sometimes.

I was super bored and I was trying to make a special somefur happy, so I drew this corgi. She's based on the southwestern part of the United State, like Arizona, with all the cacti and such.
She isn't a sona, or else she'd be in my character gallery.
But,
This is Krista. She's a (southwest) border corgi. (More corgi than collie since I really wanted to draw a corgi.) She enjoys the sun, anything green and may be an adoptable at some point in the future.

As for my commissions; I'm really sorry you guys! I've been holding off on you! I have the bases drafted, but I need to add details, outline and color!! It's just taking me forever since I've had school, Christmas things and I actually haven't drawn for almost a week. Yikes! So I'll finish those up over break, hopefully. And also my commissions at the moment are CLOSED. Yes, I have to have them closed until I can buckle down on the two I've committed to, as well as the other art I've promised. But they'll be open again as soon as I finish!

Wolf for Arco; your commission isn't late, although I figured I'd just dump everyone's commission all at once.
Now, the paper with Maska and Liam will have each commission on its own, meaning they'll be individual photo edits.

Ahem, salutations friends, new and old. It has been WAY TOO LONG since I did anything with this damned thread… pardon my vulgar language…
My commissions have been put off but I'm doing them right. Now. And I swear to cod I'm going to swim in a freezing lake if I can't focus on these. UGH.
So, my main point. I finished the com for Arco, except now I notice that there isn't hair but I didn't know. My apologies sir. Then I have some "fan art" or perhaps more of a "support" or "motivation" art for SilverSolstice. Honestly. I'm being way too selfish about not finishing some of the easiest drawing ever.
Anyway. That's that whole thing. PHEW. Jeez wow I'm so sorry.

Yay! I was really excited about the tablet. It's pretty different from the pencil and paper I'm used to, but it's a lot of fun!
