Title: Scout's Scribbles
Post by: Scout Brighton on April 26, 2014, 06:18:05 PM
So I've been thinking recently that maybe I should start one of these threads, cause recently I've taken up 3D Rendering and Modeling, and I've gotten quite decent at it, and I want other peoples opinions on it, so why not start out here!  ^_^

This thread wont be just strict 3D modeling, I may, at a later date, upload some old drawings and sketches of MLP I made about a year ago. There may be other sketches, as well, so for the people that dont really like the 3D models n' such, don't fret!  :3
As for the name...I wanted something creative...yes I know, it's kinda cheesy, but hey! It kinda fits the name, right?  XP

Anyway, thanks for takin the time to look! Some feedback and criticism would be greatly appreciated, but lets not get too harsh with the criticism, please...?

3D pictures and such will be up soon!

This is Scarlet. She was the very first model I made. Took about a day and half, mainly cause I was still new to this whole malarkey, but hey, I think she still turned out quite nicely! What do you guys think...? Yes the res is small, click to enlarge, I have to do this to all 3D pictures due to file size problems... :(

I really love the way that turned out, like the only thing that I can possibly criticize is a little strip of fabric on her right hip. It bends a little funky.

That's just how the model is made, I cant really fix that...

This is Josie! I made this one...3? days ago? I believe so...busy week...anyway, I know the lighting is a bit weird, but thats the only lighting that would work correctly sadly...also yes, I know she looks kinda creepy cause shes just staring directly at the cam, but thats the best I can get it with the current lighting...sorry...

Josie is my favorite model  :3

Thanks guys! I'm a lil stuck at the moment on what to make, but I'll come up with something soon enough, idea comes quickly so :)

This my newest, and IMO, best one so far!

This is the first one I've included more then one model, and also includes models coming into contact with one another!

This is my favorite of the 3 so far, and is probably the best looking out of the 3

I added some editing on this cause I thought it made it look a bit better with know who is who, and the lil symbols next to them is like a small description of them, but

Josie's isnt meant to mean shes a drama queen or all that, I just that that'd fit it better...

Lemme know what you all think, thanks!! (And Josie is laughing...might as well say that before you all mention her face...)

Newest one I made today, Jaycee is also a new character I'm gonna work with more, left is Josie if you couldnt tell...
Jaycee is talking, Josie is listening, dog is sleeping...basic plot line right there...

Her name is Lexi, just finished this, finally found an anthro model I could use, and I really quite like it. Yes I know her tail is screwed up with posing, but that thing is made up of 50 individual nodes, that is hard as crap to make that thing look natural...

((Reuploaded: Tail updated))

(P.S. ALL THE PREVIOUS PICTURES WERE DELETED DUE TO SPACE ISSUES)
