In a time of myths and legends when the sword ruled the land. When creatures from your wildest dreams traverses the endless forests and fields of the world.
That was where our current traveler was found. He was a fox who wandered the lands in search of those like himself who sought companionship. Yet more often than not he came face to face with blade or spell. His name was sadei, a monk who unfortunatly was prone to trouble and quite easy to spot. Pure white fur covered his form and white robes matched. It was not maintained very well and tended to be bushy all over not that he could help this. He was covered as well in white robes loose fitting and trimmed in gold. Grasped within his nimble paws a white oaken staff topped with a large ring of gold, six smaller rings jingled within it. Atop that ring was a golden fox in lotus position paws folded. It rang with every step he took.
Today found our traveler wandering deep into a wood he had never ventured before golden orbs gazed out into the bushes and tall grasses around him marveling at the size of the trees. He would remind those passing of a child as he stared in wonder at all around him the world around him. One paw gripping a small duffel like bag over his shoulder more tightly as he hurried on in his travel.

A lone figure walks through the foresit in search of his boss. drssed in the guise of a rogue. a katana across his back two kunai at his sides. red eyes survey his surroundings fur of midnight black. covers his body who is he.he is vex cloudfyre loyal guard to the warrior monk sadei.together they've traveled to this new land in search of adv entfure no doubt they'll find it and more vex scans the area "where did boss get to" he muses. "I gotta find him" he says looking around

Megera had been traveling for sometime now doing odd jobs in the places she had passed to make a few gold coins. She sighed softly as she walked through the large forest that she had stepped into. The lush green grass tickling the pads of her paws causing her to giggle slightly. Megera hadn't felt grass like this since she was a kit still at home before she set out on her own. Her lith form moved gracefully as if she was one of the leaves riding the light air that moved through the forest. Megera's white was pure white save for the tips of her ears, the tips of her 7 tails and her hind paws and forepaws. Her reddish brown hair fell along her back and down along her shoulders. Megera had a long bow slung across her back along with a quiver that would yield never ending magic arrows. Soon she began to hear the sound of another within her lush forest. Megera's large ears twisted back and forth to help better catch the sounds around her. She quickly lept unto a near by tree branch squatting down as she waited for the stranger to pass. Megera stilled her breathing as well as her heart as she blended in with the wind around her.

Twigs snapped and brush bent with his each step not that the wayward monk paid it any mind. His own eight tails which weren't previously mentioned swayed lowly behind him ghosting over the grasses below. He knew his partner was out there somewhere bitching about being left behind once again but he couldn't seem to muster the care knowing he would catch up. Stopping near a wonderful oak his paw shot out to rest on its bark and comune with it before grinning like a child and moving on once more.
He was not aware another besides him and vex were around but he shouldn't have been surprised after all the forest were full of life of all varieties. Golden hues turned towards the sky and a giddy childish laugh left his maw before his head jerked to his left where nothing stood and he growled. ,"Yes yes dear I know!" His voice was sweet and yet hummed with energy as he spoke to thin air. "and no I don't think I need any chicken!" Fromvthe looks of it he seemed to be speaking to someone. Though it was quite likely he was mad. This was definatly a strange fox.

Vex wanders around the wood his soft fo.otfalls echoing around him.his next few steps met with some resistance as a loose root caught his hind paw.this surprise got him off guard sending him tumbling down a hill his landing though not so soft was at least cushioned by his rear and the leather armor he wore.at the sound of a growl his head jerked up to find a pack of wild boar surrounding him. A grin sprang to his features as he eyed the 5 beasts speaking with barely concealed glee "hello lunch..." he said before jumping forward blade being drawn.

Megera lifted a brow tilting her head to the side as she heard the fox talking to himself. ~How odd?~ She shook her head softly as she leapt to another branch moving in front of him. Megera wanted to make sure that he really was talking to himself of if there was something that she hadn't seen. She shook her head once more as she jumped down a little ways from him. Megera jumped again in a flash seeming to be like a blur within his line of sight. The sight of white and black tails would be the last thing he would see as she jumped into the trees once more. Megera waited there leaning against the large oak waiting to see if he would pass this way. Her ears twitched as she picked up the sounds of wild boars as well as another voice but she continued to remain silent. This other white fox was a strange one but mother never turned down any that sought refuge within her arms.

He seemed content to argue with himself as he moved along. "What! No i don't eat bats...huh? Yes well being a slave was not my idea...the collar chaffed." He grumbled before swatting at the air. His demeanor shifted moments later ears drooping as he whimpered softly. "Its not my fault you died...i did not mean to be captured...Hey! Don't talk about my tongue like that..." his conversation turned to inchoherant mumbles before noticing her blurred form pass. He had caught her scent before but passed it up as not important, but now he was reconcidering that approach. Eyes hardened as he gripped at his staff tighter and became more focused. Ears swiveled following every sound as he passed her position now more cautiously. He also caught the sounds of combat on the distance and knew vex would be a short while.

The scent of a vixen caught his nose but he paid no heed due to being surrounded.his mind focussed on the battle at hand "bloody beasts " he said with a grin as his blade was drawn from its sheath.vex struck the first boar with a quick slash killing it before dodging the second's charge and stabbed it in it's side.he removed the third boar's head after he took a tusk to his leg "three down two to go"he said with a chuckle.he lunged forward though injured he managed to slay the fourth boar before he turned his sights to the fifth which had fled.vex fell to one knee and cursed at the pain though minor it still hurt. vex then called upon his shadow healing to seal the wound.

Megera lifted a brow as she continued to hear him argue with himself. Oh yes strange indeed. Megera shook her head softly before leaping unto another branch following this white fox. She noted that he had many tails much like her though he had one more then she did. Megera watched the other boar start to flee as she pulled back on her bow and let an arrow fly. She smirked as she heard the boar squeal then there was nothing but silence. Boars, nasty things, always rooting around the forest trying to think they are bigger then all the others. Megera jumped down to the ground landing gracefully on her paws in a crouched manner. She slowly stood up looking at the two with her amber colored orbs moving between the two. "Well it is nice to see others out here. Thought maybe I would be the only one traveling through here."

The moment she landed his brow rose in slight surprise. Though he had scented the other fox he still did not suspect a kitsune to be the cause. "Bad nose!" he grumbled to himself before turning to her gripping his staff tighter. "Yes well...i as well was not expecting others...though I should have." Those words were clipped but not unfriendly as he nodded to her. He released his bag letting it fall to the ground below with a soft thud. Then the now free paw crept up to his neck where fur obscured what he rubbed. A collar and necklace both hidden within the fur. "Where are my manners..I am sadei wolfwick...and somewhere out there is my companion vex...i forgot his last name." he offers to her.
Then leaning on his staff he gazed along her form before returning his gaze to her face once more. At his feet moments later a small mist began to form hovering at his feet and twitching as if intruiged by her pressence. He turned snapping out once more at thin air "Yes dear I am sure she is getting to it!" His strange demeanor had most likely confused the vixen but he didn't seem to pay that fact any mind.

"Cloudfyre"he said as he appeared dragging the spoils of his kill "and is that my fifth boar" he asked the vixen as he moved away from his boss and the newcomer.and began cleaning and preparing the meat for eating

Megera bowed her head slightly towards Sadei when he mentioned his name. "I am Megera, it is a pleasure to meet you." She lifted a brow as she listend to Sadei talk about his nose then fuss at someone else that wasn't there. Megera turned her head towards Vex as he spoke shaking her head. "Actually I think it is mine. You let it get away." She smirked softly moving some of her hair out of her face. Megera's tails flicked softly behind her as she turned back to Sadei letting Vex clean his kills. "So where are the both of you traveling from and too?" If anyone would look in the guiver there would be nothing there but she was able to just reach in and grab an arrow as if the quiver was full. Megera watched Sadei lean on his staff noting the rings and fox on the top. "You are a sage?"

Sadei couldn't help but chortle as she claimed the kill as her own. He didn't much care about that squabble personally but found it amusing and glanced at vex to see his reaction before returning his gaze to her own. "We have no destination in mind...and personally where we come from is a sore subject...we travel from the southern slave markets..." He once more gazed at vex and a small imperceptible smile graced his maw before leaving it as he turned again to her. If it hadn't been for vex he didn't know where he would be. "Ahh so you know of sages hmm? And to answer that question yes I am." He fought the urge to rub at his neck again. "Among other things..." The last but a mumble as he turned to her with raised brow. "And what of yourself?"

"Oh well"he said in regard to the aforementioned boar "what"he said looking at sadei as to their past vex said only this "those were dark times"before returning to his task as he cleaned the boar he reached in and tore its heart out "my heart for you lady"he said offering it up to her with a smirk."whatever you do don't call the boss boy"he said looking at sadei

Megera looked at the two nodding her head lifting a brow as Sadei talked about the slave markets. She always hated those things and tried to free anyone that had been caught up in those. Megera turned her attention towards Vex and shook her head before speaking politely towards. "I do appriciate the offer dear sir, but I will have to turn it down. What seems like a innocent gesture to you, is something completely different to me. In my clan any male who offers a female the heart of any animal he kills it means that he is interested in mating with her. And I don't know you that well." She smiled softly bowing her as she turned her attention back towards Sadei. Megera bit her lower lip a moment before nodding. "Yes I know of Sages. My father was one of the most powerful Sages in our clan. He was the one who made the bow and quiver of arrows for me. But as for me, I am just an archer who tries to protect those around her who seem to be weaker then she is." Her 7 tails sway behind her slowly as she excused herself a moment. Megera moved towards the boar she had killed and knelt down next to it lowering her head and saying a small prayer. Before too much longer she returned to the others hauling the boar behind her and dropping it at her feet. Megera stood up still contemplating what Vex meant by calling Sadei boy but she would just let it go. "The slave markets are nasty things. I try to save as many as possible when I can."

Giving a nod to the vixen he understood now why she had asked. Amusement covered his features at vex's offer and he had to stifle a chuckle at her response. He could understand the culture having found others similar to it. He ran a paw through his fur then turning a glare at vex. "Would you not mention that in public...or to strangers my friend." He spike calmly but lightly gnashed his teeth at the mention of one of his secrets so openly. Then returning his focus onto her once more he nodded at the bow. "I haven't done much enchanting in a few years but it is an invaluable art...and I mostly stay out of the worlds affairs these days. My time of sticking my nose into it is long over, I still help when I encounter trouble but no longer seek to clean up the world...i prefer to be left alone in my old age." He spoke in a world weary voice and sighed again though he did not look if he had more than one lifes worth of experience behind his belt even though he was only in his early 30's this go around.

Vex promptly ate the boar's heart before turning his head away from sadei and megera as a shadowy orb appeared to his left.a mischievous grin crossed his features and his crimson eyes glowed with an intensity he hadn't felt in years the time had come for his return to his homeland."stay safe boss"he said to sadei with his back to his friend and the vixen.he had been told never to return to the phantom fields for to do so would mean his death but vex would risk death to put an end to those who betrayed him.he paused but for a moment to look back at his friend"i'll be back"he said before the shadows embraced him (will return dropping from rp due to writer's block)

Megera nodded softly as she watched Vex but shrugged softly. She was always one that lived on the light side of things. Megera looked down at the boar that she had killed and then back at Sadei. "You are welcome to some of the meat if you wish. I cannot eat all of that even if I save some." She hated to waste a kill and usually gave the rest to some villagers that she found along her way. "So you are traveling away from the slave markets, I don't blame you. But would you mind if I tagged along for a while?" Megera knelt down next to the boar as she began cleaning it with the large hunting knife she also carried. She hummed softly as she did so which caused her body to hum with engery. Before too much longer Megera gave Sadei some of the meat before taking some for herself. She carefully wrapped it up before going a head and cleaning the bones. Megera knew that she would use these later somehow, nothing would go to waste. "How are old are you anyway? Since you said you were old and all." She laughed softly as she placed the meat that was in a pouch on her side. Megera moved her paw up to the crystal that she wore around her neck closing her eyes. The crystal seemed to glow with the same power as her bow and arrows did. The necklace was the only thing she had of her birth mother who had died in child birth. "So what now?"

Sadei would incline his head towards vex as he spike of leaving his brow perching briefly. "Very well my friend I shall see you soon." He offered not surprised with the turn of events. He watched him fade before returning his gaze to Megera and offering a small smile at her giving of said meat. "Yes thank you." Was his reply before raising a paw bringing the mist that had pooled at his feet upwards. It rose as tendrils wrapping around said offered meat before dropping back down disappearing into nothingness. "I see no reason you cannot tag along." He said with a shrug and a small smile towards her. Them rubbing at the back of his neck he chuckled quietly. "And as for what now? I al not quite sure.

Megera smiled softly as she looked around wondering were the other black kitsune had gone. She shrugged softly as she knew that she would use the bones later to make something or another. "Well I thank you then, but are we going to rest here for the evening for continue to push forth?" Megera really didn't care either way, she had food and water and if needed could always hunt once more. "So you are a Fog Sage? My father was a Wind Sage, but he never got around to teaching me before he died. I use to watch him for hours when I was a kit fascinated by what he could do." She shook her head slightly trying to clear her mind of the thoughts that had swirled her around in her mind. Megera gripped the crystal around her neck tightly using it to calm herself. Her tails swayed in unison behind her before fanning out and seeming to move their own way. "Sorry about that, I highly doubt you want to hear about my life story."

He would shake his head in amusement at her calling it fog even though it was proper in the term. "We may stay here it does not bother me ...i am not known for my excellent planning." He offered with a lopsided grin. "And my elements are mizu an kaze...wind and water, so a mist sage...or yes fog" he replied. Then rolling his head towards her he raised a brow and gave a comforting smile. "I have done my share of counseling as a sage and monk so it would not be out of order it is just unlikely for someone to wish to speak of it to someone they just met." was his reply before moving to clear out there position incase they did stay here overnight.

Tessa's nose twitched as she slowly rose from her sleep in the thicket of bushes. She stretched her arms up and out before sitting up, a cute little squeak like yawn escaping her small mouth. Tessa had short brown fur, with various white spots all over her. She had long, floppy ears that could touch her shoulders as well as long auburn red hair that could easily touch her lower back. Her hair is done up in a blue bow, but her hair was still fairly lengthy. Today Tessa sported a loose white tank top, falling down past her waist, she also wore a pair of denim short shorts although it was covered by her overly large tank top. As she woke up the more her natural insticts were starting to kick in; She could hear voices nearby and she could also smell them. Tessa slowly raised her head above the bushes to look around, quickly her crimson red eyes fell upon two strangers not 30 metres away.
As soon as she saw the two she dropped down and laid flat on her tummy. Tessa was a shy bunny, she found encounters with new comers awkward and at the worst of times, scary. After laying there for a solid couple of minutes, trying to muster up the courage to go over there, Tessa finally started her way over to them, only it wasn't exactly a ''direct'' approach. She weaved her way silently through bushes, getting as close as possible. But then there was an extremely sharp pain in the bottom of her paw, causing her to jump sideways in pain, falling out of the bushes and right next to the two strangers. Tessa is clutching her paw, a long needle from a bush stuck directly in the the centre.

Vex appeared perched on a tree branch watching the little bunny his crimson eyes studying her every movement a slight smile crossed his features as he notice his friend and the vixen were unaware of the newcomer so he kept watch and let a small laugh escape his maw as he noticed the little bunny had stepped on a needle at least she hadn't been stabbed in the leg by a boar he decided to be the first to welcome the newcomer "hello"he said dropping from his perch before turning to greet the other two kitsune "glad to see you're both still in one piece"he.said looking at sadei and megera before turning his crimson gaze back to the bunny "greetings i am vex cloudfyre and who might you be"he said looking at her his white hair blowing in the breeze his armor a little worse for wear he'd have to repair it soon

A small mouse ran out of Tessa's pack yelling. "What are you doing! I was trying.to..sleep...who are they?" The little mouse was red and yellow with tiger stripes ad large ears.

Megera tilted her head to the side listening to him speaking about being a mist sage. "Well that seems quite interesting to be a Mist Sage I mean. My father always told me that I had it in me to be a Sage but personally I never quite felt it." She shrugged her shoulders softly before looking around picking up some sticks and rocks they would need for a fire since they would stay here the night. Megera's large ears twitched slightly as she picked up a soft almost silent sound until she heard the rustle from the bunny. She sniffed the air picking up Vex's scent as well as the bunny. Megera turned her head towards Vex nodding a greeting towards him. "Hello again. And just why would we not be in one piece?" Was Vex insinuating that a vixen couldn't handle herself? Nah he wouldn't be foolish enough to do that, would he? Megera shook her head clearing it as she moved towards Sadei as she watched Vex with the bunny before noting the striped mouse. How odd? "But I say we stay here for the night then continue on our journey tomorrow. Sounds good?"

Sadei would would shrug at her mentioning the difficulty of becoming a sage. "it..can be..it takes a few years and alot of traveling and dedication..." He trailed off as he caught his companions return as well as the bunny and what he assumed her pets approach.(the mouse) He perked a brow at her attempt at stealth only to hold in a snort it but barely as she fell into there clearing. "well...welcome.." he offered somewhat lamely to her before turning his gaze towards vex. "you sir...are slipping." Turning once more to the shy fem before them he offered a polite incline of his head. "greetings missus...and welcome to our little stretch of the wood...no need to fear...and hello little one." he greeted the two his voice soft and kind as his golden orbs twinkled warmly. He sat his staff against a tree then and began to aid in collecting firewood. Mostly to hide his amusement at the entire situation.

"Oh hello!:)" (the mouse realizes that he is still small.) "oh wait a second." (The mouse jumps from Tessa and grows to a anthropomorphic mouse.) "this is my true form, I am a shape shifter. My name is nix and I am glad to meet you. Come on Tessa say hi."

Megera sighed softly as she noticed that the mouse and rabbit seemed to grow quiet. She shrugged softly as she turned back towards Sadei and now Vex who seemed to be back. Megera nodded her head towards him giving him a small smile. She turned back towards the camp that they had been building up to spend the night. Megera placed the wood in the middle of the ring of rocks she had made. She knelt down next to the circle grabbing her flint to start a fire. Megera did it a few times before a spark flew lighting the wood causing a smile to etch along her face. "Well that is lit so now maybe we can cook some of the meat from the boars earlier." She wanted to ask Sadie some more questions about being a sage and maybe a few other things. Megera looked over at Vex softly before moving to sit on her rump next to the fire. "So Sadei tell me just about how old are you to know so much about the mist?"

A figure wearing dark purple robe sits on a stump, meditating. Most of his face is covered in shadow except his muzzle which appears to be covered by metal. He is deep in the forest where everything is a dark shade of Green.
