Okay basis of the story.
It's cold and dark, in the city of new york. the sun has been shining less frequent, it was only a matter of time before the world was shrouded in darkness. As the months came and went, time seemed to stop for the entire world. But here, in new york city, it seemed like it stopped all together. No body roamed the streets anymore unless they had a death wish. The local militia owns the city now, and kills anyone on site that looks at them funny.
I am unfortunately one of those people. The militia have it out for me. For reasons that i will explain in further detail later, but as for right now, lets just say i am a danger to their ranks. You see, in this world, it was either side with them, or die. Unless you were foolish enough to go against them. Apparently i am a fool then. Me against an entire city, no sweat.
That's the way the world was these days. After the nuke, any and all survivors, started a mass war for supplies. People died over the small things that we take for granted every day.
This is where my story begins...
Here is the character sheet. pretty simple.
Name: (self explanatory.)
Species: (also self explanatory.)
Appearance: (fur color, eye color, you know, describe clothing if any, and build.)
Traits: (skills, such as marksman, survivalist.)
Militia or Resistance: (Basically your own army if your not militia.)
Weapons: (sword, gun, basically anything goes here.)
If militia, rank such as infantry, mechanic, and such.
It is free game here, basically a war zone. It is regular people, against a massive army of untrained, and trained people. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. Available positions are 5 on militia, and 5 on resistance. the rest of the militia is NPC.

Name: John Smith
Species: Wolf
Appearance: Black fur, green eyes, White t-shirt, Blue jeans, work boots, black fingerless gloves.
Traits: Marksman, survivalist.
Resistance or militia: Resistance
Weapons: Katana, Barretta M9.
The topic has already been made. When you pos a character sheet, let me know through pm just so i know your joining, and so i can see what character was made, then we could get to the role play :)

You know what, I may actually be interested in joining this. Trying to get back into RP, the setting looks neat and I had an idea for a charater...
Just dont expect a character sheet until Friday or possibly even Saturday at latest, currently working on an assignment for University (which I should really be doing now instead of posting here, I guess XP )

Militia or Resistance: Resistance
Weapons: AK-47 rifle, Browning HP 9mm, and a folding knife.

Appearance: Just see my profile pic for fur coloring etc.

Traits: Pilot, Basic Marksmanship with sidearms
Militia or Resistance: Militia, or more specifically the NC
Weapons: The basic sidearm of the NC. Little is known about its origin or manufacture, only that it is lightweight and fires 9mm high velocity ammunition. While powerful, the ammunition is virtually impossible to find outside of NC supplies.
NC rank: Pilot
The NC: An obscure group who many relate to the Militia. The NC are a group with an obscure history who actually have very little to do with the militia, being well equipped compared to the resistance and the militia. The organisation frequently undergoes hit and run attacks on both sides of the war, using relatively high-tech aircraft and vehicles that brings many to question the true nature of the NC, for capturing and even torturing the few NC fighters seen has yet to reveal information as to their whereabouts. Some of the less sane amongst the survivors have labelled them aliens from space, while others believe them to be the cause of the apocalypse...
NC aircraft: The NC are rarely seen, but when they do make action the most used transport is that of an armored variant of the russian MI-17. Again the level of tech used brings to light questions as to how the NC find such equipment. ((I hope this ok Johnny, especially the inclusion of the NC. I just had the idea for going with a third party who are stuck inbetween the Militia and the Resistance, hated equally by both of them and generally not much known about them... But I thought they would be closest related to the Militia... Also dont worry, my character wont have access to any high tech as my intended entrance is going to be a bit of a crash-landing if you catch my drift ;) ))

Hey Johnny... Would it be maybe be better to not use a strict posting order, instead everyone posts whenever, just so long as they make sure to never get too far ahead and wait for whoever hasn't posted yet? Maybe limit to two posts before waiting to make sure everyone has posted at least once?
I'm just wondering because the times when I can actually get on to post varies quite a bit, especially with the difference in time zones. I dont want to drag down how often others can post, and I generally find a strict posting order can be problematic when time zones are concerned :S Obviously if you want a posting order thats fine and I will try to not take too long to post whenever my turn comes up :)

Species: White Lion
Appearance: Missing her right eye but keeps it covered due to a power known only to her. Wears a grey tank top with black pants with one leg longer than the other. White bandage span the length of her left leg and up to her ankle on the right. (Refer to profile picture.)
Traits: Survivalist, marksman, weapons maker, explosives expert/pyrotechnic.
Militia or Resistance: Resistance, ex-Militia with a Captain's rank.
Weapons: 6ft katana, dual crescent assassins blades, crossbow/throwing knives.
Will post as soon as I can, most likely in my fifth period class. ^_^

I've been ridiculously busy with University for almost the entire last week (9 hours of lab work today, fml x_x ) but I was mostly just waiting for Spike to reply to you before posting :S

Hey LostLupus... I dont mean to be rude or anything, but would you be able to post in the RP using the past tense? i.e. "He fires three shots" would be "He fired three shots" Its just the generally accepted way in more serious RPs, where people kind of expect a slightly higher quality of posts compared to fun RP... Of course this is ultimately up to Johnny who sets the rules n' such, it just makes it a little difficult to read easily :)

Name: Alyss Merchant
Species: Goat
Appearance: Alyss has simple brown fur, which helps her blend in with the massess, she has no particularly odd features for her race, however her sideways pupils are sometimes a bit disconcerting to look at. She has very pale brown eyes, almost grey, of course, that is also the norm for her species. She usually wears jeans, a T-shirt and then her black waterproof-windproof coat, which has a few bits of white detailing. She's not really one for makeup, and is rarely seen wearing it, however there is a silver stud in her left ear. The most distinguising piece of clothing she owns is a pair of goggles with a few interesting functions. Namely, zoom and low light settings, although most of the time in public, they are left around her neck.
Traits: Skilled Lying, Swordplay, Use of Crossbow
Militia or Resistance: Resistance
Weapons:
Carbon Flamberge. Its lighter than a normal flamberge, however its more durable and still sharp. The sword's construction provides unparalleled dexterity compared to other two-handed swords. The flamberge is flame bladed, so creates a jagged wound, and when fighting others at close combat, it sends unpleasant vibrations through the opponents sword unless they are well adapted to fighting against Flamberges. The scabbard is on her back.
Compactable light crossbow. A fairly accurate and reliable weapon, it takes a while to load however, and heavy kevlar and padding can quite easily stop the attack from doing much damage. It has a fold out double grip, as well as an attatchable scope, so it can be used somewhat accurately at a distance. It is more effective at mid-short range however.
Is this good enough?
