So..it's been a few busy days.
After the announcement last week of the DoS attack, the forums were once again attacked. They were brought online pretty quickly on a new IP so that no other sites on the server were affected and..another DoS attack promptly took them down again.
At this point measures were started to put in place. We're now using a completely new IP with no relation to the old ones and are using the DNS services of CloudFlare to not only improve performance but also increase security by providing DoS protection and hide the actual server IP from being found.
This should hopefully keep us running. It appears the attacks were a general Furry-oriented attack and not specifically aimed at the forums.
On that note, continue to enjoy using the forums. Anyone who wants to attempt to find the actual server IP (it doesn't start with 108!) please feel free. I feel confident it's virtually impossible to find but a crowd effort would be of use. Anyone who manages to find it and PM it to me with the method they used will be offered a reward.

Truly awesome job to everyone involved in the recovery effort! I think I speak for many of us when I say our appreciation goes beyond what can merely be expressed in a forum post. Thank you so much, and here's to a long, undisrupted future of TFF! :D

Well there's a lot of hate against furry but this isn't even an adult based site (only an itsy bitsy small part)

I really like the idea of offering rewards in exchange for info on loopholes and the like. Much like Firefox, they too hand out rewards to any user that finds a security hole in their browser.

there have been a quite a few more posts on the forums the last few days, so thats very encouraging
Heres hoping
