Title: Opinions wanted!
Post by: x on February 13, 2012, 05:35:58 PM
Okay, so I'm considering making another, secondary fursona. The basic species is very straightforward, and female for sure,but I'm caught up on the details and not sure which way I should swing for each detail. Here are the catagories, and options for each:

Basic Body:
* Cabbit with cat ears and bunny tail
* Cabbit with bunny ears and cat tail

Body Shape:
* Very Thin
* Buxom
* Plus Sized

Fur Color:
* Yellow
* Pink
* Brown/Tan

Hair:
* Long
* Short
* Shaved/Mohawk

Hair Color:
* Black
* Red
* Brown
* Blonde
* White
* Rainbow
* Pink
* Blue
* Green
* Mix

What combinations do you like best? What do you feel about them, why do you like them best? What combinations do you NOT like? I'm very lost right now and need some input to steer me in a chic, fabulous direction.

Basic Body:
* Cabbit with cat ears and bunny tail
* Cabbit with bunny ears and cat tail
Bunny ears and cat tail will be more obvious contra cat ears and bunny tail which... will just look like a bobtail cat.

Body Shape:
* Very Thin
* Buxom
* Plus Sized
Because bunnies and cats are fluffy soft creatures. Thin suits a lizard or... gazelle.

Fur Color:
* Yellow
* Pink
* Brown/Tan
I don't like pink. It's an honest and personal opinion. Not a very big fan of yellow either.

Hair:
* Long
* Short
* Shaved/Mohawk
Continuing with personal opinions, I think furries with hair usually look weird because it's so out of place. Usually looks like a wig. But a cabbit with a more natural mohawk (http://gothamist.com/attachments/garth/2005_12_4_rabbit.jpg) would look awesome.

Hair Color:
* Black
* Red
* Brown
* Blonde
* White
* Rainbow
* Pink
* Blue
* Green
* Mix
Maybe a colour that fits the fur colour? Or matches markings. An idea could be fur colour and then artificial dyed effects/stripes in another?

Ugh. Editied first post for spelling.

Yeah, I was kinda leaning towards bunny ears and cat tail for unique. I also agree that fluffy and bigger might be better.

You don't seem to like wild colors, so I guess you're more for a natural looking fursona with special added effects. I always thought a mohawk would be quite unique, maybe I'll lean towards that.

It's  just my opinion, so don't let it stop you if you want something more flashy and fun.

What about.. mint green with chocolate eyes, nose, paw pads, etc.?

Or maybe a warm fruity one? http://colorschemedesigner.com/#1j52P----0000 (http://colorschemedesigner.com/#1j52P----0000)

It's not the colour that matters, it's how it's used. http://kuler.adobe.com/ (http://kuler.adobe.com/) is a great place to play with colours.

Wow I love the color themes I found there.

It's true, it really is how it's used. Random colors never suit me.

Overnight, I'll cook up some examples of this fursona with different colors, so maybe it'll help to visualize her.

As your boyfriend, I'm glad you sent me the link to this so I can help in the molding.

Basic Body:
* Cabbit with cat ears and bunny tail
* Cabbit with bunny ears and cat tail
Same basic reasons as Puncia, and I've always liked longer tails better.

Body Shape:
* Very Thin
* Buxom
* Plus Sized
Again, same reasoning...besides, its easier to cuddle up to a pillow than a branch.

Fur Color:
* Yellow
* Pink
* Brown/Tan
Brown is too dull and neutral colored for my liking, and while I don't care for pink as a color it makes for some very sexy fursonas I've noticed so it gets a pardon.

Hair:
* Long
* Short
* Shaved/Mohawk
No,no,no,no,no,no,no...I HATE it when girls do this.  Its spunky, yes....its shocking, yes...its rebellious, yes....but it is sooo freaking ugly.  It has to be longer than an inch and a half...otherwise its just a girl whose trying too hard to be badass and alienates every guy around her.   All of the women I've met with this haircut either hate men or did it to mess with someone/thing.  Just no...

Hair Color:
* Black
* Red
* Brown
* Blonde
* White
* Rainbow
* Pink
* Blue
* Green
* Mix

Just a suggestion....but if you go with pink fur, I'd definently like the thought of the white hair added to it.  :3

I think faux hawks are great. AND it would look great with bunny ears.

Bleh...even those aren't right.  Its not my decision but my opinion of that hair style is not a positive one.

Basic Body:
* Cabbit with cat ears and bunny tail
* Cabbit with bunny ears and cat tail
As with Puncia, more noticable and definative. Much easier to tell!

Body Shape:
* Very Thin
* Buxom
* Plus Sized
Anything you wanted, just remember that it depends on the Artists style too, how it looks.(http://www.dreamkeeperscomic.com/Galleryviewer.php?pic=Volume%201%20Group%20shot) (sorrt if it's large)

Fur Color:
* Yellow
* Pink
* Brown/Tan
Pink is overdone, and rarelty looks right
Hair:
* Long
* Short
* Shaved/Mohawk
Short, or with a mohawk. not shaved. Shaved furries look kinda funky to me. Something similar to Tank Girl for instance would be kinda neat.

Hair Color:
* Black
* Red
* Brown
* Blonde
* White
* Rainbow* Pink
* Blue
* Green
* Mix
Go with a color scheme. I personally don't think that black, white, rainbow, pink, or blue would go very well with a yellow or tannish fur color. The right shades of green ot red could. Of course, this is your fursonna. Try drawing up a couple of ideas, try making almost like a pinboard of things that you could drag over and make a picture. if you dont like it, take it off and substitute with something else. Try looking at a picture or a few first, to see what you would like.
