Title: Lost items found!

Have you ever lost something for enough time to make you look everywhere for it and then find it later on? Share your stories here!

(Please do not use metaphorical phrases ex: "I found my manliness!")

I had to look a very long time for my house keys on many of occasions, it really sucks when I lose them because then I have to worry about getting into my house at the end of the day if nobody is home x.x.

Pet hamsters.
I used to have one who was an escape artist and could fit under doors.
To get her back I used to have to close off each room and cover door cracks then put a cheerio in each room and check later to see which room was missing a cheerio so that I could know where she was.

If only certain siblings could grasp the idea of putting things back where they got them from! This wouldn't be a problem if they did, but alas...  XD

A hip bag of CDs i treasured when I was a kid. I spent years looking for it, and then just gave up. I found it under my bed last year x_x

my USBs a few times, thought i left it somewhere in my house, found out it was at the school

on many, many occasions i have spent at least an hour looking for somthing small.
just to find in the end it was in my left hand the whole time. :$
