I know phonographs and gramophones are the oldest ways to listen to music but are there any furries (apart from me) who has one? (and indeed, a set of records or cylinders). Without further ado, here are some videos of my gramophone in action:
Lazy Lou'siana Moon - George Epstein (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbGBaXfumMM#)
My Flame of Love - Bidgood's Dance Orchestra (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Es_P32SQJ8#)
Wishing - Billy Cotton and His Band (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gIFlXEPRNc#)
Get Out and Get Under the Moon - Nat Shilkret and His Orchestra (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yBuQCJVkT0#)

I'm lucky enough to have a working turntable phonograph, but it spins a bit too quickly, so everything is pitched upward a bit.

that can't be too difficult to modify. i think my very very very basic training in that area would be able to serve me well enough to have a go at that.
