Other, of course! You forgot the top hat.

I think those are the best, and they would look good with any ears as long as they can poke through or fit outside.

I think the hat has to match the rest of the outfit in style. For instance if you're going for a western look, a cowboy hat would be ideal.

I usually use an Akubra-Patterson hat or a cavalier hat for my character:

But basically, the hat has to fit the "style".
