Dominic and his short crew aboard the Sea Horse had found port on an Island full of Pirates. The ship had docked, and now Dominic and his trusted Friend had posted up a table, for sign ups to join the crew. Dominic sat down and ate slowely on an apple, waiting for anyone to come.

Boone stood behind Dom with his arms crossed, with a perpetual look of distaste. He didn't like the idea of just letting any old pirate join their crew, he had more dignity than that. But it was Dom's decision, and it was his job to make sure the ones they accepted were . . . broken in, so to speak. He let a small smile play across his lips at the idea.

Dominic had finnished half of his apple, then he looked over to Boone. "Hey Boone, what if to say I were to fire my pistol, would that bring the odds of getting someones attention? Or shal we dance for them. Some blood thirsty pirate should turn out anywhere."

Joseph had just left the small tavern that he had been helping sweep up and was walking down the road when he noticed an equestrian and a fox sitting behind a table.
"Excuse me, what are you doing?" he asked, absentmindedly scratching his head.

Dominic points at the sign. " Im in need of a crew." Rylo took a bite of his apple.

"What kind of crew exactly?" Joseph asked.
Then he realized how stupid he had just made himself sound.
"Scratch that," he said. "So could I possibly join?"

" Tell me what makes you worthy to crew the Sea Horse, and what you could do to keep the ship tidy and going."

"I'm pretty good at sweeping," he said.

Boone listened patiently to the feline, although he wasn't sure the poor little guy could pick up a cannon ball let alone help out on the ship. When he mentioned what he could do to help out, Boone couldn't help but laugh. "I think u should go home little guy, before h get hurt playing with the big boys."

Dominic looked at Boone. " Id say lets give him a shot, I was no different when i first set sail, and look at me now. We could train him, and make him tougher. Besides, we need a guy to clean after us, hmm wel put him with the cook."

"Okay... but can I have my knife back?" Joseph said, smiling slyly and pointing behind the table...
...At the multi-curved dagger that had embedded its tip in the exact center of a wooden beam.

Boone rolled his eyes, but kept his mouth shut. It wasn't his place to decide who the captain took on for crew, but a boy! Especially one so . . . well, inadequate. He sighed, maybe the cook could find some use for him . . . maybe.

Dominic slided the list over to Joseph. " Sign here."

"Okay," Joseph said, picking up a quill. "I'm curious, though... what is the purpose that you have to look for crew members besides needing them to help on your ship?"

Dominic held his reason to himself, and wait to see if this guy would be clean. " A long Journy."

"It has to do with revenge, doesn't it?" Joseph said, leaning over and pulling the knife out of the beam.

Dominic looked back at his ship, then back at Joseph. " Well atleast hes good at reading the colors, Black is my color, and Maroon is blood."

"Okay," Joseph said. He turned to Boone. "Please don't judge me by my appearance. I'm tougher than I look."
He paused for a second.
"Wait, did I forget to mention that I can read minds?"
(I figured out my "Other". I thought it would be useful.)

*Casually walks pass the Sign up table. Thinking to himself, "Hmm, A Pirate ship sign up aye, yes, this will do nicely..." Walking up to Dominic* "Greetings Sir. I couldn't help but notice your having sign ups for something. Might I ask as to what is being offered here?" *Stopping suddenly, I sniff the air and glance at Joseph, sensing that he was a mind reader, I fortify my mental barriers and turn back to Dominic*

Dominic Smiled at Wolf (wolf is it?). This be a sign up to crew the Sea Horse, my magnificient ship."

Joseph felt the barriers being put up... but not before he had read enough to trust the newcomer.
"He's not evil," the feline said. "And he can put up mental barriers."

*To Dominic* "How intreguing. I may be interested in joining your crew, that is, after I am provided a bit more information as to what this venture would contain. As this young lad has just unwisely blurted outloud, I am not evil and can indeed raise mental barriers. I can do a great many things, being an Umbra Wolf that is. I believe an introduction is in order." *Offers paw* "Wolf 7133 at your service, but everyone just calls me Wolf for sort. The 7133 part is kind of a long story. It is a pleasure to make your accuantence."

Dominic slides the sign up paper over to to Wolf. " We will be searching for many things, and get rich." Dominic bluffed to make sure nobody would tell anyone what was really going on.

Boone continued to watch the situation with disdain, the new recruits so far hadn't impressed him much. The feline who could apparently read minds but looked to young to even know how to wield a sword, and the wolf who, although looked fit enough for the job, he still wasn't to sure about.

"You really enjoy judging hypothetical books by their covers, don't you?" Joseph said to Boone, quizzically raising one eyebrow.
(Wolf, did you know that one of the other members of the forum has the exact same picture as and avatar? Just a small fun fact.)

*Begins filling out the form, ignoring the stares he could feel others giving him. He was use to people being un-nerved by his presence. Once finished,* "There, that should be enough essential information on myself to get by that I will allow to be known. Im intruieged enough to join in on this venture. I have... pleanty of time on my paws, after all. This brings up but one question I have for you, When exactly do we depart? Not to worry you, but Things have a nasty habit of going bad if i stay in one place for too long. You needen't worry about it once we have left, however. You may also find that I can be quiet an asset to you."
(And I was unaware, but not surprised as i found this pic on google images XD Im currently working on drawing my own fursona at the moment, however, so as to avoid confusions)

"Yes," Joseph said to Dominic. "When do we depart? I can't seem to find that information in your... Ahh..."
He turned to Wolf.
"We leave when we have a big enough crew, "the feline said.
(For the record, Joseph doesn't have wings, unlike myself, as I recently discovered...)

Dominic looked at the signature. " Whenever we are done, this is a dangerious Voyage, Boone, everyone! Pack up, We are leaving." Common step to step to, to the ship." Dominic got up and took his things and the slip, and started walking to the ship.

Boone didn't like the fact that Joseph seemingly new everything he was thinking, but took the opportunity to think of horrible things he could do to Joseph if he kept trying to dig into his mind. "You heard the cap'n, step to it, I don't want any lollygagging on my watch, got it?" he said when the Dominic got up.

"Aye, Captain." *Follows Dominic towards the ship. While walking, I turn to Joseph,* "Guess that answers that, ay? Word of advice though, you may not want to go poking about in other people's heads. If they catch you, many will get mad, and most will get revenge. You're talented for you age, it would be a shame for such power to be wasted as such a young age."

"Thanks for the advice," Joseph said brightly, hoisting his pack up higher on his shoulders. "I'll keep that in close mind."

Dominic had reached the ship and walked on board, welcoming the newcommers. "Welcome aboard the Sea Horse, Alright! Prepare to cast off!"

*Nods to Joseph, then turns toward Dominic* "Aye Captain, Tell me where to go and I'm there."

"At your service, Captain," Joseph said, saluting Dominic.

Dominic looked at the new recruits and thought. " Alright, you guys may take a look around, then Joseph, I want you to go to the 3rd bottom deck and Boone will introduce you to the cook. Wolf, well tell me what can you do aboard a ship?"

Boone was close on Dominic's tail when he boarded the ship, he grimaced at the idea of leading Joseph around, but kept his head and waited for him to be finished looking around before leading him down.

"So is the cook here a nice man?" Joseph asked, his sword lightly bumping against his leg as Boone led him down to the 3rd bottom deck.

"Ah-hem, well, i wont go into explicit details, but I am rather muscular and can do manual labor well. I... uh, Dont tire easily, so I can work for quiet some time. I was also born on Friday the 13th, so I am infused with bad luck. However, i can absorb bad luck around me, and control it. Henceforth, Very few uncontrolable bad things will happen with me near by. I am also well versed in... Occultic Arts, Which means some small scale unexplanable and possibly freaky things mayyy occur, but its nothing to be worried about as they wont be of any effect to anything. There are other things as well, but none of them terribly helpful with sailing. Should we get into a battle, well, lets just say these swords are red for a reason."

" Well Wolf, I think youde be great for the mast. Aye? What do you have in mind you would be good for?"

"Anything would work for me, Captain. Just be sure to list my duties in detail as I have difficulty assuming things on account of my huge lack of common sense. I also suggest that we leave soon. The, umm, "Bad things" I warned would happen are, well, happening." *I point to the sky at a large group of rooks that have begun to circle the ship.* "Judgeing on how things are appearing and the greyness of the clouds rolling in, I'd say we have roughly one hour before something bad will happen in this area. Best we not be here for that."

Dominic looked up in confusion, then looked back at Wolf." We are already leaving. What the heck are Rooks?"
Joe had seen the new recruits, and had to surprize then for an introduction, he stuck onto his web, and slided down softly and quietly until he was behind Wolf."Hello there!"

Following behind Boone, Joseph was eventually brought to a door, which he was instructed to go through. Entering the room, he found himself in a kitchen.

Jack had seen the door open with two people. "Boone! How are things back up there and the recruits, and Hello there, this must be one of them." Jack had walked over and shook Josephs hand.

Boone ignored Joseph on his way down to the kitchen. He couldn't help but smile though when he saw Jack, always in good spirits. "I'm doing well Jack, but be careful with this one." With that he left, off to laze around until Dom needed him.

Jack looked confused and didnt know why Boone brought Joseph down without any word. " Hey uh Boone, why is he here anyways?"

Luckily, Boone stopped short before going off to laze around, "He's your new assistant, good luck,"

Jack thought for a second. " Assistant? Oh hmm I didnt know I needed one, actually I could use some help around the Kitchen to make things easier and faster, Hey welcome aboard umm.. whats your name again?"

"Joseph," the feline said, detecting a slight int of liquor on Jack's breath.

Jack turned and whiped off the burner. " Joseph huh, well we got a shipmate called Joe, hes quite the character hehehe. So, the Captins put you with me huh?"

*Wolf Jumped forward in surprise, not from the sudden voice behind him, but from the sound of the voice. Turning, he smiled gleefully at the sight of Joe.* "Well I'll be a flea bitten stray, Joe! It's good to see you again! It's me, Shadis, from Black Rock! You may not remember me very well, but you saved me from being pup-napped by a gang of slavers one night by the docks. Remember, you sent them sinking to the depths, tied with web. After I thank you I... I uh, puked on your boots. Yeaa, I was fairly drunk. Sorry bout that mate." :$
[And Rooks are basically Crows]

"Yeah," Joseph said. "But I don't think that his friend likes me that much..."

Joe looked confused. " Uhh hehe, sorry lad, but you definately have the wrong spider. My name is Joe, but I am definately not part of what you just said".
Dominic walked to the upper deck in the back where the wheel is." Release thos sails, untie the post ropes, raise the ancor, we are leaving!"

*To Joe* "Oh? Are you sure? Thats strange... well there definatly was an anthro spider that night... How wierd. Huh, guess my old memory isnt whst it use to be. Im Wolf by the way, Shadis is a cover up name I've used before." *I then turn, slightly red in the face from embarresment at mixing up the Anthro-Spiders. I then rush to do as the Captain commanded, deciding I had done more than enough conversation for one day.*

Jack started to move pans around into covoreds. " Well Joseph, Boone doesnt see eye to eye with those at first, but once you get to know him, itle be better. Hmm well I do not have much servise to requiror right now, so you can run along and about the ship."
Joe had sprung up to the middle mast and released the sails, then jumped to the front mast and released the sails, and the back mast as well." All sails released captin!"
Dominic took the wheel and started to steer." Good! Keep on the look out for rocks or navy!"

"Okay," Joseph said, walking toward the kitchen's exit. "I'll see you later." It's good to know that Boone doesn't really hate me...
Arriving on the top deck, Joseph was amazed to find that they were already at sea.
Man, he thought. This is a very fast ship.
He started to walk forard as he gazed ot the vast, beautiful ocean... and accidently bumped into someone and fell backwards.
"Sorry," Joseph said apologetically, "I should have watched where I was..."
He stopped short in the middle of his sentence, surprised at the identity of the person.
"Great Glaux," he said. "You might be one of the largest spiders I've ever seen..."

Joe flipped hanging upsidedown from his web." Ha, another recruit, welcome aboard lado, wow, im the biggest youve ever seen?, well Im not the biggest, now Bob the Turantuala, hes five times biggere than my size. Whats your name?"
Dominic laid out his map and compass looking and thinking where to go next, but then a thought had hit him, and his eyes were peeled onto a sword on the map."Boone!, get up here, I know where we are going!" Dominic turned the wheel and headed south.

Boone was immediately beside the captain, being pulled from menial work around the ship. He eyed the map as well, not quite sure what Dominic had seen, "What is it cap'n, where we headed now?" He cracked his knuckles hoping it was someplace that involved fighting.

Dominic pointed out on the map at the sword. " That, that is one of the nine mythical swords, and I know that shape, guess which one Boone." Dominic smiled.

Boone scratched his head in thought, "Um . . . the one that's mythical?" He didn't quite pickup what the cap'n was laying down

"Uh.. . Joseph," the feline said, getting to his feet and dusting himself off. He could hear Dominic and Boone talking about a mystical sword of some sort, and filed it in his memory for later reference.

Dominic grabbed Boones Shoulder and shook it. " Thats the Sword that has power over ships, we could pass through the Royal navy with that thing."
Joe turned over and stood on the floor releasing his web."Joseph? Really, pffhaa! thats great, My name is Joe too, but just Joe."

"Really? Well, it's nice to make your acquantence," Joseph said, shaking one of Joe's many hands.

"well then," Boone said, raising an eyebrow, "I guess we better get moving." He smiled at the idea of not having to deal with Navy ships.

*His task compleated, Wolf watched the land drift away, arms crossed. He began to wonder just what he had gotten himself into. However, as one of the nine Mythical Swords was mentioned behind him, his ears pearked up. He smiled gleefully, and almost sinisterly. He then knew without a shadow of a doubt that he had made the right choice. He then returned his face to its standard, monotone expresson and turned around and walked towards the Captain.* "A Mythical Sword, ay? I think I will greatly enjoy this venture. That blasted Navy has had it too good for too long..."

"Wait... we're going against the Navy?!" Joseph said. He clenched his fists in anger, thinking of the acts of violence he had seen the navy commit against the less fortunate.
"I am going to enjoy this... GREATLY."

Dominic smiled and thought he had picked two good ones. " Well then, for one to you Wolf you seem to be looking forward to mythical work. Joseph, you hate Navy, I like that, and know youle be great at this." The sun had gone down and it was now dark, Dominic lit his lamp. " Light the lamps up!"

*Smiling gleefully, I state* "Yes, I will be enjoying this venture greatly. I have always hoped to see a mythical sword. Imagen the power they contain! Also, I have a more... desirable alternitive to ligthing the lanterns and allowing others to spot us." *I then walk away from the group and close my eyes. After consentrating for a good thirty seconds or so, I open my eyes. Suddenly, several green lights rise from the ocean around us and float about the ship, ligthing everything in an eerie, yet bright, green light. I then turn to the group, smiling.* "Ahh, there. This is but a small taste of what i can do for us. These ghost lights can only be seen by those upon this ship. They cannot harm us and if you were to touch them, your hand would go right through. Not bad, aye?"

Boone was a little nervous now about the two they had picked up, one read minds, and the other, well the other just seemed all around dangerous. But then again, they did already seem rather loyal, or at least willing to help. With powers like those they were probably hunted by the Navy, trying to snuff out all that remained of paranormal activity. He finally decided that maybe he could start to actually like these two instead of despise them.

Dominic re looked at the map and became in shock. " Boone, I just realized that the short way to our destination is through the Forbbidon shores, if you look closely there is a Triangle, and its in that spot. A big Triangle. We may run into Davy Jones."

Josepph snapped to attention.
"HE'S REAL?!" the feline said surprisedly. "He's actually REAL?!"

*Satisfied, I walk back to the group* "Indeed, he does live, or at least my sources say so. I've always wanted to see the man/fish/thing for myself, and now I may finally get the chance. You have my loyalty. Whats our heading, captain?"

" The same Heading we be off too, the Sword, which is on the Barran Island. Who knows if we meet Davy Jones Along the way, Im not too sure about the fish thing you were talking about Wolf." Dominic stepped away from the wheel, and walked down to the main Deck, then turning to walk into the Captins Cabin. " Ill be right back!"

Joseph put his hand around Wolf's shoulders.
"It's not the same Davy Jones," he whispered in the wolf's ear.

"Oh? What other one is there then, mate? Wait, What year is- ... Never mind. I Must have been in the sun too long before I came here. Anyway... Hows the ship?"

"It's pretty cool," Joseph said. "The lower decks might be some of the best I've seen so far. Even the kitchen that Jack works in is organized perfectly."
Seeing Wolf's look of puzzlement, Joseph added, "He's the cook that I'm going to be working with."

"Ahh, I see. Well, sounds great. I think I'll take a look around as soon as I get the chance, that is, once the captain gets back. Im not 100% sure what my job is yet, but I think I work on the deck."

"Okay then, I'll talk to you later," Joseph said. "I'm going to go see if Jack needs any help with anything."

*As Wolf wandered through the ship, he contemplated the journey they would be undertaking. It was a huge adventure that would undoubtly be dangerious, but he didn't regret joining. The mear thought of him being about to even see a Mythical Sword made him drool. This was the power he had searched for his entire life. Regretably, he figured he wouldn't he able to use the sword, let alone touch it. For the crew's sake, it was probably best he didn't touch it. He probably wouldn't be able to control himself once he did and he didn't want to accedentally hurt, or kill, anyone. Stopping suddenly, he sniffs the air, and snarles as he smells a rodent. Closing his eyes, he neals down and places his paw on the ground, palm up. not 7 seconds later, a rather large rat scurryes from under a bed. It dumbfoundedly crawls onto Wolf's open paw, which suddenly clampes down on the rat. Releasing his spell, Wolf simled cruely and he fealt the poor creatures fear eminate as it fruitlessly struggled in his iron tight paw. Standing up, Wolf opens his hand, hanging onto the rat by its tail, and casually lifts it above his open mouth as he snickers cruely. Without warning he drops the rodent and it falls into His mouth, which clamps down around its prey. He rolles the helpless, terrifired creature with his tounge for a moment or two, then bites, ending the creature's life. Smiling, He swallows His victim whole, then slowly walks away as if nothing had happened.*

Dominic walked back out with two pouches with 5 copper peaces in each pouch in his left hand. " Here, first starting salary, first ones on me for your beginning and cooperation." Dominic hands Wolf and Joseph the pouches. He then walked up to the wheel and took over. " Boone, yee best get some sleep, you look tired."

Boone snapped out of his daydream when Dominic spoke up, he hadn't even realized what had been going on since the mention of Davy jones. He was lost imagining all the things that could go wrong, he wasn't much of the optimist. He sighed being brought back to reality. "aye aye captain" and withthat he headed off to his quarters to lay down.

"Thank you, Captain!" Joseph said, saluting Dominic with two fingers (which was how pirates saluted, unlike the five-fingered navy salute) and placing the pouch in his bag, which he still hadn't put down.

*Wolf Graciously bows to the Captain and puts the bag of coins in an unseen pocket inside his trench coat.* "Appreciated, Captain."

" Wolf, I want you to try out for the mast, Joe will help you and teach you what you need knowing. As for Joseph, you begin help to make dinner with the cook, Aye?, get your hands on deck lads."

"Right on it!" Joseph said, running to the door that led to the lower decks.
"So Jack," Joseph said as he washed his hands, "what exactly are we making?"

Jack lit up the stove and stuck coal into it. " Well we will be making some beef stew, one giant potatoe bug for Joe, and weat bread for the side. I want you to cook the bug, all you really do is cook it, with water for steam and so it dont melt, put seasoning on it, and thats it. Then you can help to clean the kitchen."

Joseph looked at the dead potato bug. At least I don't have to kill it, he thought.
"What kind of seasoning should I use?" Joseph, asked as he prepared the water to put the bug in.

" I think Joe likes Wing Crisp, its uh, up there in the covered ina red bodel."

*Wolf walked to Joe and looked up at him.* "Captain says I'm to help you on the mast, Joe. Where do ya need me?"

Joseph fetched the bottle, seasoned the bug, and gently placed it in the water. "How long do I leave it on for?"

Jack started cooking the foods. " About 10 minutes."
Joe looked at Wolf and handed him a rope." I need you to make sure every rope in this mast is tied up tightly, Ill be at the front mast to handle those, and if you see anything loose or off, anything that looks wrong, holler out for me." Joe jumped to front mast.Dominic thought for a second." wait, I forgot about dinner, should I get Boone, he seems to have forgotten as well."[/color][/color]

"Okay," Joseph said.
Ten minutes later, Joseph removed the bug from the pot and placed it on a plate.
"What do you want me to do now?" he asked.

*I inspect the ropes to the best of my ability. They all seemed pretty tight, except for one seeming insignificant rope. Curious, I pull of the rope abit, at it begins to come undone. I stop pulling immediatly and call for Joe.* "Joe, They all seem tight enough except for this rope, which comes undone when pulled."

Boone wandered through the halls of the ship, waiting for dinner to start. His stomach growled at him for going so long without eating. He noticed the new recruits already hard at work in their given positions. Well, one less thing I have to worry about he thought as he looked around for something to do until dinner started.

Jack had finnished cooking dinner. "Well Joseph that bug looks mighty good, just go ahead and take it to Joe."
Joe swung over to Wolf, and handled the loose rope." Well thats because you did it wrong, here let me show you." Joe had showed wolf how to tie and tighten ropes in the right places. " See, not so bad, just a little practice and hard work on the ship and mabye youle be swingin like me, but on ropes, I have webs."

*Wolf Chuckled* "Ha, yea, last time I checked, I couldn't make webs. Well, where else do ya need me?"

Joe handed a telescope out to Wolf. " I want you to keep an eye out up top on the front mast, theres a pad with rails you can stand or sit in to keep you confortable, Ill be on the middle mast where the highest one is."

"Aye, aye sir" *I put the telescope in a pocket within the folds of my trench coat. I then flexed my fingers as blood red, inch long nails extend from my fingers. I Then use them to climb up to front mast, quickly and quietly. My nails stabbed into the wood of the front mast, but once they left the wood, the little splinters pulled themselves back together, so it was as if I hadn't stabbed it at all. Once I got to the top, I flexed my fingers again as the nails retracted back into my fingers. A few drops of blood dripped out, which was of no accord. I then rubbed my eyes abit, and when I had finished, they glowed a ghostly green, the same as the ghost lights that continued to float around the ship. This allowed my eyes to see in the dark. I removed the telescope and began to scan the dark horizen for any other ships.*

"Okay," Joseph said, picking up the bug and walking out the door.
Joseph walked to the bottom of the middle mast, then climbed up it, making sure not to drop the bug.
"Here you go," Joseph said pleasantly as he placed the bug on the crow's nest floor. "I hope you enjoy it!"
With that, the feline climbed back down and headed back to the kitchen to help clean up.

Joe grabbed the bug. " Thanks lad!" Joe began dipping his fangs into it.

*Sniffing the air, I rub my belly as it starts to grumble* "Hmmm, something smells good..."

Joseph walked into the kitchen.
"Do you need help with anything else?" he asked.

Jack handed a huge silver plate with foods on it. " You take this up to the deck, and set it there, everyone will come and grab, then you bring the dish back okay?"

"Okay," Joseph said, taking the plate and carrying it upstairs onto the main deck.

*during all the commotion none notices the woman leaning on the rail with a broad sword and bow uppon her back. She turns around and sits on the rail watching all that is going on.* (to self) "I think i should remove my concielment spell" She dose so and stays i the same spot trying to see how observent everyone is.* (thanks for th e heads up in PM Black Unicorn)

Joseph started as a woman appeared on a nearby railing.
"What the... who are you supposed to be?" Joseph said, switching the plate to his left hand so that his right hand would be free to draw a weapon if it came to that, and also so that people could still get food too.

*the mysterious she wolf grins* oh no one that you need to worry about, Joseph. *she winks before disappearing again. He can still slightly hear her paws padding on the deck.*

( ok so Kaya, my dear sweet pet, go to the ooc and put ur character discription, read everything on it, if u dont know how to find it, its at the top of rp, its called Serious RP companian bourd, click find The Voyage (OOC) read all the stuff to catch in the story, and create a character board on it. >.<)

*kayao wanders around the ship and giggles to her self at the little things she is doing to unsettle the other crew-men, like lostening that one rope, moving Cooks things, an randomly letting he ental guard down and constantly changing her mind about things.* "mmm this is rather fun." *she says to her self as she walks about the ship invisiable to all but Wolf, the reason being, he can also use some of the same (ugh coldent find a better word.) spells.*

"I'm serious, Wolf," Joseph said. "There's someone on the ship who didn't come from the port, and..." His ears pricked up, sensing an unknown thought pattern.
He pointed at the area the thoughts were coming from. "...I think that she's right there."

Dominic heard talking on the deck. He stayed on the wheel. The night was turning to day, as strange dinner was only a few hours ago due to the time the ship runs by. Dominic noticed a familliar rock out in the middle of no where. Dominic knew where he was going. " Right on headding. LADSSS!!!!!!!!!!! All You ScallyWags Get to the main Deck, front and center!!!" Dominic rang a bell.
Jack heard the bell and call from Dominic's loud yell. He rushed up to deck. " Common Joseph, step to!"
Joe spun down and stood next to Jacks left. " Stand next to me Wolf, this ship needs great order of possisioned Crewmen."

"Am I the only one who knows about you besides Wolf?" Joseph yelled in the general directions of the thought patterns. "We'll settle this later!" Joseph ran over to Jack. "Sorry, Jack this weird girl was distracting me by turning invisible and sending thoughts at me, and is probably sticking out her tongue at me as well... and no, I'm not crazy."

[Sorry for not being active latley guys, Iv'e had ALOT of high school and college homework. Dual enrollment can be hard :S ]
*I suddenly snap to, Compleatly aware of all that had happened. I stumble backwards and drop the telescope on the platform I was standing on. It was unharmed. I then fall backwards off the platform and nearly plummet onto the deck, but was able to grab the rigging before I hit. Once the force was stopped, I let go of the ropes and land harmlessly on the ground. I then jump up and run to the captain.* "Captain! There is another mage on board. A stow-away. And he-" *I sniff the air, then smile* SHE is a wolf, like me. Im just now reacting because my mind is abit scarred. Sometimes when another mage is nearby, my mind is thrown into- err, nevermind that now. Shall I find her for you Captain?"

On the horizon, a small island appeared, rising out of the water. Sand bars stuck out around the edges like the beginnings of legs and neck of a turtle, the greenery indistinct at the distance.

Dominic put his pistol away. " hmm, I guess we could use another crewmate, welcome then. So tell me, what stuff can you be of use to a ship?"
Jack looked at Kaya. " well gally Joseph, you were right about the woman."
"I suppose so," Joseph said, confused thoughts clouding his mind. "Um... I'll be right there... I just want to properly greet our new crew member."
He scaled the mast quickly and found Wolf, Joe and Kaya looking out into the ocean.
"Excuse me, miss?" he said. "You said you wanted to kill the navy's commander, right? Well, which one? Of the remaining seven?"
As he awaited her reply, he thought of another topic... the reason why he had been living on the streets
in the first place...

"Yes captin!" holored Kaya as she climbs down the rigging, about half way down she goes invisiable out of habit and lands with a small audiable thud. "mmm its so nice out..." Kaya drops her barrier once she relizes that she put it up and is standing netx to the captian. "what shall we do first captian?" she asks happily enjoying the power fron the upcomming storm rippling through the air, and her fur.

Were not going to be running into any of them here." *I then whisper in his ear in a tone no one else would hear,* "Plus, I think I should keep an eye on her."

kaya's ears begin to twich and then she shivers... "something bigs gona happen...." she looks back up before they start to lower the boat and sees Shadis talking to the capitan and looks quisically but then back to the island, the figure was still standing there, just watching.. it unerved Kaya.

The figure watches, waiting. Within minutes, it's easy to make her out. A cat with brown and black spots over white fur, she's small, maybe five foot. Her clothes are regular pirate's clothes, minus a red velvet knee length coat and high, expensive boots. An amulet hangs on a heavy chain around her neck. Whoever she is seems mocking, cocky and strong.

*Wolf paddles for awhile, pondering what they would encounter here. When he sees the mysterious feline figure, he knows this probably wont end well. Plus, he figured that Kaya's worry had to mean something big as well."

The girl stepped forward. She looked dangerous, a predator on the loose. "Lies. Shipmates do that to those of another species," she purred.

Joseph watched Dominic, Kaya, and Wolf shove off from the ship and row towards the island. He looked at the single island, staring at the figure just standing there, like a...
"Wait a minute..." he murmured. He closed his eyes and checked the other six planes for danger. Most of them showed the same island, nothing else. But on the seventh...
"Crap!" Joseph exclaimed, switching his pistol for his dagger as he ran to the front of the ship and jumped off.
He entered the water with a splash and began to swim towards the life boat. "Captain!" he yelled, swimming towards the small island as its occupants stared at him in confusion. "There's a..."
Suddenly, he felt something wrap itself around his ankle and pull him downwards. He only had time to reach for the surface before it pulled him under.

Kaya yelps and dives into the water as she sees Joesph being draged under, and expertly swims past the boat and dives under the water and searches for Joesph. /Shadis! something draged Joesph under!/

The cat watched, smirking. "Need help with your crew?"

Dominic looked back at the cat. " yes we are recruiting, hang on a second." Dominic ran and swam after Joseph.

She laughed quietly, hand on the amulet. She watched them swim before shrugging off her coat, boots, and sword and jumping in as well.

Suddenly, Joseph drags himself onto the island, clutching the dagger and bleeding from his left shoulder. He flopped onto his back.
"Stupid... giant... squid," he said, panting heavily. He stared at the girl. "Could you call them back over here? I don't want them to drown byaccident, and that thing is still out there."

the watter glows a bright blue causing everyone to blink, suddenly and kaya pulls herself out of the watter, panting and visably shaking, her dark purple markings glowing faintly. "i-i think i-i g-got.....it" Kaya colapses into the sand shaking and out cold.

"The Kraken is normal in these waters." She waded back in, shaking water from her coat.

*I untie the boat and furiously paddle out their, mumbling,* "I dont understand, MY bad luck abilites should have avoided this!" *I then notice Joseph save himself. I sigh in relief, then shout,* "Not a good time for a swim mates, The giant Humbults are feeding, and they are not picky about it!" *I row back*

Kaya is shaking in the surf her marks glowing faintly. Shadis feels a small buzzing in the back of his mind, little dose he know its kaya........ The waves and wind start to pick back up, and kaya starts to drift back out into open water.

*I reach back on shore, tie up the boat, and walk up to everyone else. I eye Kaya with a worried expression, noting her glowing runes.* /Kaya, are you alright? What do you sense?/ *I then turn towards the mysterious feline and state* "You crazy? THIS is going to be one fun adventure! We've barly arrived and already we've almost lost one. THIS is going to be GOOOD! Also, how ya feeling Joseph?" *I then jump up, and turn my head, seeing Kaya float away compleatly.* "Merda!" *I run down the dock and dive head first into the friged water. I surface and swim furiously towards her.*

[My character has bad luck powers since he was born on friday the 13th. (like me in real life) He can use bad luck as a weapon at free will. He used it to cause the Humbalt squids, who are natually cannables, to attack the squid who had me. however, everyone got a taste of th ebad luck's nastyness. "Don't worry, I've got it!"
Joseph pulled out a baseball, somehow stuffed it in his pistol, and fired straight into the whirlpool's main hole.
The whirlpool suddenly trembled, then disappeared.
"Nobody likes getting hit in the crotch with a baseball," Joseph said., smiliing. He turned to see everybody staring.
"What? You've never seen a magic pistol before?"

"Too bad that that was only temporary," Joseph said.
Sure enough, seconds later, the whirlpool appeared again, swirling as though nothing had happened.
"Yeah, why the heck did I do that anyway?" Joseph thought.

"to answer your question ive been here the whole time. fixing a small leak with some tar i found and taking a quit well deserved nap. now please tell me what ive missed. by the way my eye sight is excelent and i can do a neat trick with small to medium sized rocks. and the worlpool looks like it could be a problem."
sigma stood there hoping to hear a reply. while he waited he took the rocks from his bag and started to float them inbetween his fingers.

*Wolf eyed the periless whirlpool fearfully. He searched his mind for the right words to calm the water and to end this problem, but he could not. His fight with Kaya had taken too much out of him. For the moment, he was nearly powerless.* "Captain, I've got nothing on the whirlpool! We're Magicless!" *He then sences the magic being used by Sigma. To himself,* "Oh, for the love of God, another magic user..."

Dominic glares. " No, NO MAGIC!!! LET HER SAIL STRAIGHT AND THROUGH!!! WERE GOING INTO IT!!"

*To the Captain,* "I said I have no- ugh, nevermind! Straight on through we go!"

Nikuay laughed as she hurried to the sails. 'A game! I can't wait to play with the seas again. They always have such fun ideas.'

*kaya groaned and sat up. she puts her hand out to stady herself and trys to focuas but everything is spinning and she feels nausiated. she looks around trying to remember where she was..*

*I smile at Nikuay's comment, then Spot Sigma crouched in the corner.* "Afraid to get wet, cat? You'll be fine so long as the violent tipping of the ship doesn't throw you overboard. If that happenes, then you wont be so fine!"
*Seeing Kaya's uneasiness* "You may want to hang onto something Ma'm, Its gunna get alot worse before It gets any better!"

Danny danced over, light on her paws and enjoying the rocking. She held out a paw.

The Sea-Horse enters the huge whirlpool and sails with it ina circle. Dominic ket the wheel steady with the waters. " HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Kaya looks up suprised. "uh thanks." She lets DAnny help her up and then dusts her self off and runs a paw through her hair. "why exactly are we going through a whirlpool?" Kaya wonders aloud then looks at the rigging. "Oh i have got to get back up to the top! thanks for helping me up." Kaya does her best to keep with the swaying and climbs up the rigging.

Joseph stares at the captain for a second, then smiles. "Ahh, I see..."
Joseph quickly ties a bunch of safety lines down and ties one around everyone, himself last.
"Everyone's anchored, sir!"

kaya warily tightens her line again not wanting it to come lose and fly into the swirling vortex of doom.

"Actually, Kaya," Joseph said, suddenly appearing, "I don't think that it's dangerous at all. I think it might be a entrance of sorts."

"it may be, but then again there is always the chance of it becominng a portal to the nether lands...."

Dominic looks at Kaya. " I see you have knowledge, Davy Jones uses these. But then again mabye we will just sink. Hahahaha."

Joseph looked at Dominic, then back at Kaya.
"He seems positive."

Kaya is clinging to the rigging and warily looking at the whirl pool and grits her teeth st the boat begins to lean " All i am saying is i better not end up in the NetherWorld....."

Joseph looked at the water.
"You know, I can't think of anything to add right now..."

Danny smiled at her ran to the bow, watching beside Dominic.

The Sea Horse has reached the center and began to dive in from front.

Kaya clings then smiles and hollars excitidly "HERE WE GO!!!!!"

*As the boat dives into the whirlpool, water sprays up over the ship with surprising force. Shadis is flung from his vantage point and clutches his live line for, well, his life. He thrashes about for a while untill finally coming into contact, forceful contact, with the rigging. He grasp it and closes his eyes, feeling naucious and fear for the first time in, well, quite a while.* "Urgh, never liked falling..." *Yelling below him* "Watch out below, unless you like predigested food all over you!" XD

Kaya lets out a holler of excitement again and then suddenly lets go of the rigging and only holds on with her feet. The previous look of terror is gone and she seems to be enjoying her self immensely.

*Shaking his head* "Ugh, better, better, feeling better. Im not falling, not falling. Calm. Relaxed." *With my nerves finally calmed, I begin the climb back up.*

Danny held onto the railing, laughing. Her feet started to slip, but she paid no mind to it.

"losen up Shadis! this is rather fun!" Kaya lets go completly and then grabs the rigging down where Shadis is. "how are you doin?"

"Gulp, better... now. I have a horrid fear of falling. Hights are fine, but falling..." *Shudder*

"you mean like this?" kaya lets go compleatly again swinging down lower than pulls on the rope to get back to the rigging.. "thats always major fun!"

*I upchuck all the food I had eaten that day.*

The Sea Horse dove into the water and was now underwater. Green brightness apeared below. A Flash that blinded everyone and as their eye sight came back, it had looked sunny above the water. The ship had floated back up and out of the water... Dominic began to breath with relief...

"Aw come on, Wolf, Jack spent a long time preparing that," said Joseph, smiling in amusement, "even if you can't help this fear of falling!"
He pulled out a harmonica and played a bit of the Cutting Crew's "Fear of Falling."
"Sorry, I'm into song jokes," he said. "Wow, that was fun... well, at least for Kaya. Personally, I have a slight fear of plummeting from tall hights. But I did let go a few times."
He sat down, pulled out his dagger, and started cleaning underneath his claws. "So this is what this place looks like."
He looked up at Dominic.
"Um... where are we?"

kaya is laughing and seams to be jabbering to her self "ah nice wonderful day isnt it? ah...not quite, as you see im still attached to the boat! " she laughs to her self and promptly unties hers self and hangs by her feet in the rigging. "mmmm this feels so nice. all the power flowing through the air."

Dominic looked around. " Here we are, That island over there is the 3rd Eye. I hear strange stories about it, I think I want to make port and find something valueable, look theres smoke coming from it, and where we are we are on the other side of the triangel, right on heading."
Boone shook him to dry abit. " Cpt, you were right... Im just thankful Davy Jones had that deal.. oops.."
Dominic looked over to Boone. " Delay that! We made no deal..." Dominic turned the ship towards the island. " Be ready to scout this land lads."

"Yes, it does feel quite ni... wait, what was that he said about that deal?"
Joseph suddenly felt a prickling feeling up his spine. He stared at the 3rd Eye.
"I have a bad feeling about this..."

*kaya lets go with her feet aand starts to fall but apears on the deck just fine and gets close to Boone, and lays back her ears.* What deal are we talking about....?

"I don't know. Something I heard Boone say."

Boone Replied. " The Deal to the.." Boone was stopped by Dominic's hand hitting his chest.

*Wolf climbs down abit, then drops in a controlled fall, landing with a slightly less gracefull than before thud. Growling to Kaya,* /You are SO going to regret that, Kay!/ *Glancing over to Boone and Dominic, then back to Kaya,* /But while your still useful, what secret do you suppose there keeping?/ *Then speaking out loud* "Sounds like someone has a dirty little secret. Normally I'd try to question further, but Considering you just guided us through one of Davy Jone's Whirlpools successfully, I'd say you've earned a secret of two. BUT, if it puts our lives in unnessesary danger, Then Lord help you if you mess up."

Kaya still has her ears layed back* "i would like to know sonner or later about this "deal" i have got quite a bit to lose, and i dont want to have to bargin with "Jones" again. Thank you for navagitaing throug hthat whirlpool and i should get back to my spot." Kaya's fur seems to have a static charge bevause it is quite fuzzed from all the magic in the air.

Dominic walked from the wheel down to Wolf. " Since yee stepped on this ship you were in grave danger, the ocean has more than you think. Alright ill tell you.. I made a deal with Jones, to deliver 50 souls.. I have only 4 left to go. Now now, I never said it was going to be you." Dominic goes into his cabin and walks out with a cage of 3 rats. " Jones was never specific, he said souls, and I deliver him souls, in return the Krakens Blood Organ. aparently one rat escaped at the beginnig of our journy and wasnt seen. We are here for the 4th soul, and this is where we meet Jones. Gentlemen, ladies.. I need a crew, a crew to help me find the sources or magic and much other things to help defeat the king and his army.. We are in dept to those who died for us to be the ones to restore freedom.. You are that crew, I expect better, and there will be better from you all." Dominic walks up to the wheel.

Kaya smiles, "Ah.... you need a rat then? or cant you just get a fish? As u said he never sai what kind.. I thought he would have learnd better than that by now... seems like people would be recoursefull enough to find his massive looop holes.."

" There be no fish in these waters, well unless you expect us to catch one the size of this ship.."

"if anything goes horridly wrong, i will fight with you.. though i doubt Jones will be happy to see me again....." she absently fiddles with her left ear

Kaya smiles and reaches into her pocket and takes out a power stone. "I needed to find this so i would be able to," she slides it back into her pocket* "to find an object of intrest that is currently lost"

" ANd that object is..."

"what ever the stone decides, it could be a person, item of value...or a intrustment of death. It quite simple actually."

Danny watched, intrigued, before sauntering forward. "You need a crew, I'd be quite happy to help. Though, don't expect me to enjoy your deals. I hear Davy will take those that cheat death, and I for one have cheated enough to kiss his feet."

*Remembering his.. snack, Wolf lowers his ears in shame, but hides it before anyone notices.* "Sounds fair enough to me. I know the deal, now my curiousity is quiet sated. I feel abit... Obligated to find you a replacement for this missing soul. What did you have in mind?"

"Umm... Excuse me... but I think I can help you with your soul..."
Joseph reaches into his satchel and pulls out a small container that emmitted a strange green glow.
"Umm... this is the soul of the eigth commander of the navy..."

"Yeah... I should probably explain this..."
"You see, a few months ago, I was in another town when he showed up. While he was there, he killed an innocent couple for no reason, and he would have killed their child- a young girl- but I shot him in the... um... rear end..."
Joseph puased for a moment and stared at the sky, then continued reluctantly.
"Well anyway, it ticked him off and he went after me. We dueled each other for a while, and I ended up getting hurt in, strangely enough, the same shoulder I scraped earlier when we got attacked by squid. But soon after that, he took a swing at me and accidently knocked this thing over." He tapped on the container. "It sucked his soul out and caused his body to evaporate. However, I knew that those frinks in the navy would picture it differently, so I got on the next boat out of there and went to the town from which you picked me up."
He offered the soul to Dominic. "You need it more than I do. I was just using it to read in the dark, it's not good for much else..."

Kaya suddenly laughs. "that i find hillirous."

Danny laughed. "You shot him in the rear? Ooh, I like you kid." She grinned, putting an arm around his shoulders.

Dominic smiled and walked over to Joseph. " Aye, the 4th soul.. I stick my hopes for you sailor. I am more than happy to have you aboard this ship." Dominic takes the soul and puts it in a glass container, then looks at it. " Fortiun favores us today." Dominic put his hand on Joseph's shoulder. " Well done lad." Dominic turns around back to the wheel and sets the soul in Boones hands.
Boone holds onto it.
Jack comes over to Joseph. " You did more than buy us an Organ that controls sertain seamonsters, you saved one of us as well, Jones dont make visits for 1 last soul, if we only had 3, hed take one of us."

Dominic turned the ship to the side instead of facing the island. Dominic took a spy glass out and looked around. " Comon Jones, I aint got all day.." Dominic looked and saw nothing.

*Turning his head to look out at sea.* "Hmmmmm, what a rude host. He expected us, and yet wont greet us. Perhapse he is distracted? Or hiding..." *Thinking to himself,* 'That should get his attention'

kaya is looking towards the island and gets hit by a wall of dark energy and growles. "i think you might have over don that..... something "Dark" is comming....."

Danny watched from a distance, interested but not willing to play her luck at something said wrong.

Joseph pulls his cloak more closely against his body, shivering. "Is it me, or did it just get colder?" he said, looking at Kaya and Wolf.

*Kaya flattens her ears and grwols, as the ship suddenly apears out of the water.*

Dominic looks apon the ship and there stood Davy Jones, and his crew. " Do you have the last 4 souls Cpt Shepard?" Dominic took out the cage of 3 rats, and the one green soul inside the jar. " Aye, where be the Organ?" " Aye, ill give you a map to find it on the island." Dominic walked down from the wheel, then Jones apeared on the Sea-Horse. " The map please Jones." Davy Jones hands over the map, and Dominic hands over the rats and the soul. " Why do your temper me with my vouls Shepard." " Lets just say I make shortcuts through easy paths." Jones looks over at the people hes met before. " You! Have you come to pay your depts?"

*I step up as if to speak, Then wonder wat compelled me to do that as I have no deals with Jones. I then step out of the way somewhere behind Kaya, buttoning up my trench coat. I keep my eyes down*

Davy Jones turned around. " Those Depts due, you have not long." Davy Jones apeared back onto the Flying Dutchman. " Shepard! Here be the warnin for you and your crew. The island you will step foot on will test you, and the Organ lies in Dead Eyes deep." The Dutchman released its sails and sailed off, then in the distance went back under the waters. " Be ready to port! Straight the ship will hit the beach!" Dominic turned the wheel, and the Sea-Horse heade to the island.

Joseph waited until the Flying Dutchman passed out of sight, then looked back at Wolf, Kaya, and Danny.
"Well," the feline said, "he was weird."
Joseph looked over to Dominic. "What's our heading, Captain?"

Dominic points at the visible island ahead of us. " That island"

*takes long look at the oddly colored island....* this is indeed going to be diffcult......

"Yeah, it does look quite..."
"SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH!"
Joseph looked up. A giant bird flew towards the island and disappeared somewhere among the trees.
"...GULP... threatening..."

Danny grinned, watching the bird. "A rook. I can't wait to see what Davy has in store," she said, sauntering over to Joseph. Of course, if you would rather run, I'd love to give chase." She grinned dangerously.

Joseph looked at Danny.
"Um... it's pronounced "roc"," he said.

*Remembering there witnessing of the rooks when they first left shore, I cringe.* /This island is flooded with misfortune.../ "Well he was pleasent. Lets get to that island!"

The Sea-Horse hit the beach and slid onto it. " Be ready! All hands place the ropes and stake them to the ground incase the ship decides to fall over! Move, quickly! Sleep when your dead!" Dominic went to deck, and started to climb down from the ship, and onto land.
Boone followed behind. " Ahh, I see what your plan is captain."
Jack tossed down 6 ropes on each side of the ship with the stakes. " All weel cpin!"
" Good! Joe, stay with the ship, ready the holler!" Dominic stands next to one Rope. " Jack! Toss some hammers down!"
Jack tosses hammers down to the beach.

(...Shouldn't you anchor it? If this ship is around the size of the Brig Niagra, she won't be sliding off easy. Or at all, if the water is shallow enough.)
Danny jumped the side, hitting the ground easily. "How can I help Captain?"

( no ancor, thats for ocean, and the ship is held by the stakes and ropes, ancors take awhile to pull up because they are heavy.)
Dominic starts to hammer a stake into the ground. " Aye! Start hammering the stakes into the ground, all the way in and stretching the rope from the ship to make it stablelized! Move!"

*kaya starts helping, and ignores the constant rusteling in the brush.*

*I leap off the ship and onto the beach.* "Ahh, sand... Aye captain!" *I start hammering in the stakes with a hammer I grabbed.*

"Wolf... they're called rocs! It was big and white, that was a ROC!"
Joseph hammered in about six stakes... then stopped, because by then all the other stakes had been hammered into the ground by the rest of the crew.

*I finish hammering and wipe my brow of sweat*
"Rooks, small black rooks" *I chuckle jokingly*

Dominic had finnished his. " Shut your Traps and make way!" Dominic stood and looked at Boone. " What be our headin?"
Boone pulled out the map and looked. " Three hundred paces to Deadeyes Deep. North East. Aperantly Jones made it easy for us, we are at the exact location where the map says we are."
Dominic turned back to the jungle part of the Island. " We go! Push on lads, lets walk. Boone, Pace the steps, lead the way!"
"Aye Cpt!" Boone started to pace the steps on forward and took out a compass with the map.
Dominic Followed behind.
Jack followed as well.

"Well, we'd better follow them," Joseph said, running after them. He looked back at Wolf. Kaya, and Danny. "Come on!"

Drawing his dagger, Joseph followed silently behind.
"I'm not sure yet," he said, "but I have a feeling that the roc is only the beginning..."

Danny followed close behind, ears pricked. She hurried up to Joseph, Wolf, and Kaya. "Wouldn't it be suspicious if someone gave you a map? Maybe that captain of yours doesn't think so, but I've seen a few with their heads on backward. I'm willing to bet half my share there's something fishy about this all," she said, watching them carefully.

Dominic heard the chatter. " Aye, it is very suspicious. But with Jones, he has not a choice but to keep his word. He has set his own boundries."

"Knowing people like Jones, He will technically hold up his end of the bargin, but he will find some way to screw us over. Im just curious as to how..."

Joseph felt someone breathing down his neck.
"Hey, would you stop..."
His eyes widened as he realized that everyone else was in front of him.
He turned...
And came face to face with nine black, humanlike creatures believed to be dead... and the tips of their evil swords.
The feline turned tail and sprinted like hell in the direction of the others.
"RUN!" he screamed as he zipped past them.

Dominic turns around. " Weapons!" Dominic pulled out his sword.
Boone. jabbed a knife into the ground to maark his pace, the turned and pulled out his pistol and other knife.
Jack pulled his axe out.

*kaya stops and turns around and sees the monsterous creature* Holy S___. What is that?! *Starts running with Joesph and skids while pulling out a few of her throwing daggers*

Danny pulled out her sword, hurrying forward to attack it.

"KAYA! You shouldn't use that kind of language! And... wait a minute..."
Joseph looked back in time to see Domonic, Jack, and Boone draw their weapons, and to see Danny charge at the creatures... who were none other than the cursed Nazgul.
"Crap," he said, drawing his pistol and his dagger and running back to them.
"Captain, you can't kill them! You need a magic..."
Joseph suddenly spotted a VERY familiar sword leaning against a tree.
"That will DEFINATELY work..."
He took the sword and strapped it to his belt, then drew it out and charged at the figures.
He stood in front of them, held the sword point downwards, raised his arms while gripping the hilt with both hands, and slammed the tip into the ground, crying:
"YOU... SHALL NOT.... PASS!"
The figures' horses reared up, frightened by the power released into the earth. The riders, unable to will their steeds closer, hissed at Joseph in hatred and made their horses gallop in the opposite direction.
Joseph smiled slightly and sheathed the broadsword.
"Well, I suppose that's not the last we've seen of them," he said. He rolled his eyes. "Of course Jones didn't mention that this was where Sauron and his minions were exiled to. That's probably how he intended to get us back." He tapped the hilt of the sword, which was none other than the famous Glamdring. "Good thing he didn't expect one of the most effective weapons against the Nazgul to be here..."

Dominic glares and puts his sword away. " One day, when I have magic in my own hands, Ill be back here to free those horses." Dominic turned. "On wards!"
Boone took the knife out the ground and went back into his pacing stance, then started to move.

"Apparently, this island is a base for all the worst deceased villains from the past," Joseph said. "I think I read about a place like this in an old scroll..."

" Hmm, you seem to know about this place.. Well tell us whats kill able and not when they decide to pop out. Push on!"

*kaya stats walking with joesph* that was quite impressive..

"Um... thanks," Joseph said, scratching the back of his head nonchalantly. "I'm sure anyone else would have done it if they had read the scroll I read... and had seen Glamdring..."
He patted the sword. "Well, having this around will keep those Nazgul and any other Sauronites away from us."

(I believe the organ has something to do with the ship-controlling sword. But what exactly d oyou mean by "What just happened?" Do you mean the thing with the Nazgul and with Glamdring keeping them as far away as possible from us because of its positive magic, or Wolf and Kaya's conversation?)
Joseph, who had heard Wolf and Kaya's unspoken conversation, walked up to Wolf.
"You would have fracking died," he whispered in Wolf's ear.
"What?" he asked after Wolf and Kaya gave him a confounded look. "I don't read minds by choice, you know!"

*Shadis's eyes widen and he snarls when he realises that Joesph was in his mind uninvited. He finds Joesph's connection and reflects it mentally, sending it back into Joesph. Confused over that fact that he is now reading his own mind, Joesph devolopes a rather painful headache. Shadis then re-fortifies his mind so that Joesph cannot enter it again. He growls at Joesph,* "Don't try that again!" *He shakes his head and walks closer to the Captain.* "What should we be on the lookout for, Sir?" [Thats your que to continue the plot]

Dominic walked continuosly. " Anything that moves that aint us, give the..." Dominic paused and stopped, looking around. " Somethin gives me a tingle over here.. I dont like it."

Joseph looked over from where he was standing...
And saw himself staring next to Wolf.
"What the... WOLF! THAT'S NOT ME!"

*My Eyes widen as I turn my head. To my right and staring at me, A huge, 10 foot long Manticore crouches, ready to pounce. Before I can react, the beast pounces on me, pinning me to the ground. I struggle with the beast for a good thirty seconds. He manages to slash me a few times with this claws, but I drive one of my swords deep into his chest. He screams and real's backward. I take the operatunity to send a fire-bolt into its chest, which explodes and burns it. I then quickly roll out of the way, barely dodgeing him landing down on me. It screams as it notices the others of our party. Turningly wildly, he flicks his tail at the group, sending razor sharp spikes at each of us, except for me as Im bleeding on the ground.*

*Kaya yowls and throws up a barrier automatically shielding everyone that was standing. the force of the creatures attack hitting the barrier sends her flying backwords.*

Danny had been walking a distance away from the group, looking around at the trees and such. She turned at the sound of the manticore, dodging the spikes and hurrying to help her fallen ship mate. In her eyes, friend was far too strong a word. She unsheathed her sword, ready to fight when done with the task at hand.

*While I lie their, I clutch my wounds. I see the manticore begin to charge Kaya as it sees her fly back, weakened. I instincivly reach out my left paw and mutter a few soundless words. My shortsword, still enlodged in the Manticore's chest, then rips out of its chest and flys back into my paw. The beast screams as it stops and faces me again. Danny then reaches me and helps me up. The beast screams and charges us. I ready my swords and mutter a silent prayer.*

*Kaya howls when she hits the ground and charges back at the beast a black fire orb dancing on her palm. purple markings are visible in her fur as she hurls the orb at the Manticore*

Joseph pulled his gun to fire at the manticore when suddenly, he noticed something disturbing...
There wasn't just one. There were TWO.
And they were headed towards Wolf and Danny.
"Frack!" he said, drawing Glamdring and his knife and charging toward the lion-beasts. One of them had reached Danny, but she was handling it well. The feline went to help her, but was interupted when a ginat spike went right past his face. The other manticore rushed at him, hungry for blood. Joseph threw himself forward and got under the beast, then jammed his knife upwards into the beast's ribcage. Th manticore thrashed and shot out spikes at random. Joseph drew out his dagger and rolled out from underneath the flailing beast, but as he did, the manticore's claws raked his injured left shoulder, tearing through bandages and skin alike. Wincing, he got up and tossed his dagger, which cut off the other Manticore's tail. It glanced at Joseph for only a fraction of a second, but that fraction of a second was fatal for the beast as Danny plunged her sword through its chest. The feline caught his dagger and sheathed both it and Glamdring, then rushed over to Danny and Wolf.
Joseph pulled out a medical kit and began to dress his friend's wounds.
"For future reference," Joseph said, panting, "I only read people's minds by my own will." He grinned despite the renewed pain in his shoulder. "Perhaps after this episode, we should all talk about ourselves... THOUROUGHLY."

Dominic pulls his sword out and weild a pistol in the other hand. ( Sry, im late..) Dominic shoots at one Manticore, and charges with sword at it.

Joseph looked back in time to see Dominic impale a third manticore through the throat.
"Well, that should be all of them," he said. "Manticores normally travel in groups of three."

Danny stepped away to let him treat Wolf, panting. She started toward Kaya, limping slightly and holding her arm close to her side.

Joseph wrapped up Wolf's final wound and stood up.
"There," the feline said. "You should be fine."
Joseph ran over to Danny, still bleeding from his left shoulder.
"Do you need any help with that?" he asked, noticing that she was clutching her arm in pain. "That looks pretty bad."

Danny smiled lightly, gritting her teeth. "Take care of yourself first. I'll wait."

Dominic kept his Sword out. " Lets keep moving, we havnt much time, we cant fight the intire island.."

*I struggle up, holding my bandaged chest.* "Very well. Thank you Mr. Joesph. I wont be holding your mental explopoits against you, considering I owe you one now. Is everyone ok? I may have blacked out for a second after slamming my head on the ground."

Danny helped Kaya up, hiding her arm behind her back. 'Good thing I wore red...' she thought, limping over.

"Okay. I'm still sorry though. I'm kind of curious."
Joseph deftly bandaged his re-injured shoulder and went right back over to Danny.
"So where are you..." He noticed once again how tightly she was gripping her arm.
The feline frowned. "Stupid question. Okay, just let me see it."

Danny sighed. "Thank you." She held out her arm, a long cut running from the shoulder to the elbow. Although she was feeling increasingly dizzy, she hid it rather well.

*kaya shakes her head trying to clear the slight mental "Fuz" that has been bothering her after the Manticore hit her barrier.* ''This pace is going to get us killed if we dont get a plan for when the next monster attacks..'' *she says aloud*

"Ahh, you are right. Joesph, please help Danny, and if she needs to, maybe send her back to the ship?"

Joseph stared at the cut. "It's amazing that you managed to hide that."
He took ahold of her arm gently and checked her wound.
He smiled. "It's not serious. You've lost some blood, but actually it's not that deep." He pulled out the bandages and began wrapping them around the wound. "You should be fine."
After finishing with Danny, Joseph walked over to Kaya. "Are you hurt?"

Danny smiled and thanked him, setting Kaya against a tree for the time being.

"no-no.. i dont think so." She says a little rattled " we should get moving though..."

Dominic kept at the pace with Boone. " Boone, how many paces so far?"
Boone kept the numbers. " So far we are up to 200."

Joseph looked Kaya over.
"You're good," he said, standing up.
The feline turned towards Dominic and Boone. "How many more to go?"

Danny watched Boone and Dominic, then called to the others, "We should catch up."

Kaya nods and stands up and starts to hurry after*

*I make a facial expression that explanes im sorry, so as to not telepathically say it, thus sparing Kaya the pain. I then run to catch up with the group.*
[Unicorn, we can find the organ now]

Joseph runs up and walks next to Kaya.
"If you need to lean on someone, I'm here," he said. "You seemed pretty bushed back there."

Danny again stayed to the back, watching all of them. It'd been a while since she'd been around so many people, let alone such... colorful people. It made her wish for her pprevious crew all the more.

Boone had reached 300th pace, and what lied infront of him was a Lard stone colum. " 300 paces cpt.."
Dominic stopped and looked. "Well lets look and see whats behind this rock, its blocking our whole view." Dominic walked to the side and looked beyond it. What such view but a large ancient temple piramid.

Thanks.. but it seems that we are here now... *Kaya smiles at Joesph's offer, and looks back to see danny standing back quite a ways.* "Danny.. i should see whats keeping her..." *kaya starts walking back towards danny*

Danny walked slowly, falling a distance away. Her crew... It hurt just thinking of what had happened...

"Oh. Okay then," he replied.

*Shadis stares at the temple with wonder.* "Who knows what wonders, or horrors, this ancient temple contains! Shall I go first Captain? To, uhh, make sure its... safe?"

Dominic looks to Wolf. " Well thank you for your concern, but Ill be the one to decide which life to spare and what one goes into a place like this and gets booby trapped." Dominic Walks ahead to the temple in a slow and bend legged stance with a sword and pistol.

"Hmm..."
Joseph thought intently, staring at the pyramid.
"I don't like this," he said. "Something about this place seems... familiar.

"Very well Captain" *I stand sentry outside the temple entrence, swords drawn and mind ready.*

Danny barely heard the exchange, deep in her thoughts, but came to when some of the group stopped. She silently pulled her sword.

Kaya leaned against a tree. "I say we all go in."

"Hmm," Joseph said. "I know I've seen this before somewhere... but where did I see it?"

Danny glanced over at him, then smirked. "What's the matter Joseph? Deja vu?"

"Yeah," Joseph said, looking back at Danny. "I know I've seen this place somewhere... I just remember why I remember it..."

*kaya laughs* "come in lets go in..."

"Captain? We entering the ruin yet? I sense other creatures approaching us from multiple angles and waiting out on this beach isn't a wise idead..."

Joseph suddenly stared at the top of the pyramid.
"Did you hear something?"

*Distant screaches can be heard* "Yea..... It's time to go..."

Dominic kept on. " We go in." Dominic walked into the front enterance.

*I follow Dominic into the ruin* "After you"

Joseph suddenly remembered something.
"STOP!" he said. He ran ahead and stopped Dominic.
"This place is probably filled with traps..."
Suddenly ,a pendulum drops down and swings by two inches from their faces.
"...Like that."

*kaya and danny walk in as well.*

Dominic saw the Organ up ahead. It was Black Marble base, and the keynots were white marble, and golden pipes. " There lies the organ. Now, we must push and pull it back to the ship."
Boone stepped up. " How can we, that thing is big, and we don't have enough meat to lift or push it all the way back to the ship."
" Aye that be true. Lets see then... Anyone got any ideas?"

"well we are in a forest with trees.. we could cut the trees and get one log under the organ and role it until we can fit another under and so fourth.."

Dominic shook his head. " That would take acople days, first making perfect wheels out of trees, that would take hours of chopping, and lifting, and more hours trying to push it, and the farther pushing it, either the more trees we chop down or the more we move the back logs to the front... Its too difficult, and with an island like this, Im afraid we cannot afford to spend the night here."

"you misunderstood me but ok.. how about uh.... i dont think i know the correct enchantment to lift this with magic... do you know Shadis?"

*I stare at Kaya increadiously* "Of course I do, but the energy to use it would be... alot! I could bring the organ to the shp and even put it in place, but I would have to sipon energy from one of you guys, and that mayyyy hurt... alot." *I smile, nervously*

" You dont draw your energy from the plants around you? you actually use your own energy?" *kaya asks surprised*

*Tilting my head* "Plant energy? Im a creature of Death Ma'm. Living energy and I dont work well. The energy of people works fine as it dies once I remove it from them. Now, care to donate?"

*kaya nods* " i will take the energy from the plants then u can take that energy from me and it dies out the same as normally but it causes less fatigue.. Lets get started." *she smiles and closes her eyes and starts collecting energy from everything but any people she can feel*

"I was joking, but... ok then" *I smile evily and I close my eyes. Kaya's fur begins to twinge lightly as unseeable essence flows from her, turns black, and flows into me. The twinging then turns into burning.*

*kaya grimaces but dose her best to ignore it and continues doing her thing with the plants.*

*This continues for a good 2 minutes, but then i stop drawing energy. The pain Kaya feels instantly vanishes as I walk, practically glowing, to the organ.* "I'll see you all at the shinp" *With that, I grab the organ with both paws. The air around me gets very cold and seems to shift slightly. After a few moments, Their is a quick flash of light as the air becomes normal ,and the organ and I are both gone.*

*Kaya quickly moves behind a tree and vomits because of all the energy she used and the sudden lack of pain.* "never doing that again" *she says quietly to her self*

"Well, I'm glad that's... CAPTAIN, LOOK OUT!"
Joseph tackles Dominic to one side just before a blade comes crashing down.
Joseph gets off of Dominic. "Sorry about that," he said. "But I finally remembered why this place looked familiar."
He pointed to the large bandaged warrior. "It's a haven for dead pharoahs like that dude." He drew Glamdring as the warrior eads towards him. Outside he could hear more moaning and groaning.
"And it sounds like he brought friends..."

Dominic screetched. "What the devils deep dampness of blazzis just happend... did he just.." Dominic got up and looked. " Both gone.. so.." Dominic cleared his throwt..
Boone noticed the roof began to crack. Boone freaked and pointed. " SHEPARD!!"
Dominic looked up as the roof began to fall." RUN!! GET BACK TO THE SHIP LADS!!"Dominic came over to Kaya and shoved her forward" Vomit later!!"Dominic began to run along with Boone and Jack, and the rest of crew..

"I HATE mummies," Joseph said, sheathing Glamdring as he ran. ( XD Rick O'Connell! )

Danny watched from outside, shining her sword. It wouldn't help to run in and get killed.

*kaya staggers after everyone a few yards behind.*

Joseph followed close behind Dominic, Glamdring banging against his leg. Suddenly, he saw a creature notch an arrow to a bow and aim it right at Dominic.
"CAPTAIN!" Joseph said, pulling his pistol and firing at the beast. The creature fell, shreiking, but it had managed to fire the arrow. Joseph quickly put away his pistol and jumped in front of Dominic.
The arrow pierced the young feline's left shoulder and knocked him backwards. He tried to get up, but suddenly, something overcame him and he slumped to the ground.
The last thing he saw before passing out was a lithe black form running towards him...

Dominic had noticed Joseph had an arrow stuck in him. " No!" Dominic pulled his pistol out and aimed at the creature. " One more move, Ill shoot."

*kaya saw Joseph throw himself into the arrow's path to shield dominic and yelled when he went down. As soon as she got to him she quickly picks him up trying not to jostle his shoulder.* "no why did you have to go do something like that kid?" *Kaya mumbled as she hurries with joesph to behind dominic.*

Dominic side talked to Joseph. " Jeez, you could get yourself killed Joseph."

*kaya looks to dominic* "Sir i dont think he can hear you.. he isnt here.. hes not conscious...."

"It's worse than that..."
A young black cat dressed like the new Wilykit stepped from the undergrowth.
"He could die," she said, looking at the injury. "The poisons in the arrows of these creatures causes those who are infected with it to go into an odd coma. In this coma, the spirit of the infected person is put to the test in a series of challenges. If the person suceeds, they are given a random ability that enhances their abilities. If not... their soul is taken from them forever."

*Kaya jumps a little when the newcomer spoke and appeerd.* "he should be fine though right?"

Dominic kept his pistol aimed at the cat. " And just who might you be?"

"Perhaps... but if he does, he won't be entirely the same..."
The girl looked over at Kaya. "Oh, sorry... Thalia Wiseacre," she said, shaking her hand. "I've been trapped here for a while ever since I got shipwrecked on here. The only reason I know of this poison is because I was infected with it myself. I survived, and now I have enhanced agility." She noticed the sword hanging on Joseph's belt. "He has Glamdring?"

"Oh... well, it's kinda coincidental..."
Thalia ran over to the bush she had hidden in and pulled out another sword, also brimming with magic.
"I have Anduril."

*Back at the ship, Shadis had finished teleporting and installing the organ. He then stumbled back onto a chair, suddenly quiet tired fromt he draining ordeal.* "I sure hope Kaya faired better than I. I sense multiple creat-" *I stop, and shiek as I realise what was going on with the group. I heaved myself up and struggled to get through the door. I made it to the deck before crashing to the ground. The teleportation had taken far more power than anticipated. I attempted to get up a few times, but all in vain. I lie their, struggling to remain concious as I lie in despair.*

[It was installed in the right place, but I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings. (I never do, even irl X3 ) So no story plots were ruined. I know nothing. ;) ]

"Anyway, we'd better get your friend back to the ship," Thalia said as she strapped her sword to her back. "It would be a shame if he died from failing the tests, but if he bleeds to death first and doesn't have a choice, that would be much worse."

Dominic nodded. " Lets move quickly." Dominic walked fastly with boone and jack.

MUCH LATER... INSIDE THE ARROW REALM...
Joseph's eyes snapped open.
"What... where am I?" he asked himself, rubbing his head. His eyes opened wider as he observed his surroundings.
A strange glowing landscape took up his view.
"This is DEFINATELY not Kansas," he said, looking around. He noticed that Glamdring was no longer with him. Instead, a sabre hung at his belt. He drew it out. Its handle was wrapped in a black material that made a perfect grip, and it seemed to glow in the light. Upon closer examination, Joseph saw a single word carved into the hilt... a name.
Feuilly.
"What the..." Joseph said, remembering another manuscript he had read about a group called the Friends of The ABC. "But... it can't be... can it?"
"It can."
Joseph jumped and turned around to find a terrifying spectre standing behind him.
"Welcome to the Realm of the Arrow," it said. "I am the judge. You will be subjected to many tests. If yo ucan pass those, then you still must face the terrible beast that awaits at the end... the one that no man has beaten so far, and the reason that no one who has been shot with one of these specific arrows has received the skill at the end."
"Wait... what?"
*Sigh* "Just go wit hit. Now, there are a few stipulations. One... you fail a test, you die. Two... if you fail to kill the beast plaguing here, you will lose your soul. Third, if you kill your judge... yo ugo straight to hell."
"Okay," Joseph said. He sheathed Feuilly's sabre. "I accept."
"Good." The spectre smiled. "Let us begin."

Back on the ship, Thalia was tending to Joseph as a few of the other crew members watched.
"Okay," she said to Kaya, "hold him down while I pull the arrow out."

[By now I am recovered from my exaustion]
*I walk up to the Captain, holding my side.*
"Captain. The Organ is in place and all of us are on board. They are careing for Joesph. That island is also crawling with all sorts of horrid monsters. I say we get as much distance between us and this place and then figure it out, where we can't be over run. Plus, Joesph is giving off some rather tempting dead energy. I dont know how long I can resist absorbing his essence. I need busy work!"

Thalia ripped out the arrow... and stared in horror.
"Crap," she said. "The Ninth Arrow."
She turned to Kaya.
"His chances of survival just shrank..."

Kaya looks a bit frightened. "What do you mean shrank, and how bad?"

She looked at Kaya in sadness.
"It will be a miracle if he lives..."

"this isn't good...... oh goodness, he should not have gotten in the way......" kaya's ears drop in worry.* "there is some slim chance he can get out of this right?"

"Yes... but it's very slim. No one so far has been struck with an arrow of this sort and lived to tell the tale."

Dominic, Jack, and Boone pull each stake from the ground. Dominic ran to the front of the ship, and Jack and Boone climbed aboard with the rest of the crew. Dominic pulled out his pouch and reached in pulling out some blue glowing dust. " Hold on to railing, the ship will jump!" Dominic through the dust at the front bow of the ship, and then sprinted away from it. The dust reacted 10 seconds later, and made a strange loud pulsing ring horizontally pushing the ship back and off dry land, and made winds all over everywhere else. Dominic then rand into the water and climbed aboard the ship.

*Stares at Dominic in amazement* "Looks likes someone had a few Arcaine secrets after all. Im stunned! I didn't even know if that dust still existed or not!" *Shakes head and becomes serious again* "Orders Sir?"

MUCH, MUCH, MUCH LATER, IN THE ARROW REALM... (The ship's been sailing for a while and it doesn't look as though Joseph will make it from you guys' side.)
Joseph panted, leaning on Feuilly's sabre as he kneeled at the top of the flight of stairs.
"So this is it?" he asked the spectre. "The beast is behind the door?"
"Yes. Kill the beast, and you will have cleansed this place of its curse."
Joseph shrugged and stepped into the room. He saw something in the corner. As he watched, it stood up, a deep growl issuing from its throat. Amber eyes glinted in the darkness as the beast stepped into the light, revealing itself to be a giant gryphon. A chain was attached to one of its legs.
"It waits for you to come," the spectre said. "It waits for you to come so that it may kill you. It will attempt to hypnotize you. You must kill it first."
Joseph looked at the gryphon, then approached it, stopping halfway to stare into its eyes. The beast's eyes glowed.
"What are you waiting for, Spector?!" the judge said. "Kill the beast! Kill it before it hypnotizes you "
Joseph stared into the gryphon's eyes a second longer, then looked down. His eyes became angry, determined slits.
"Gladly."
Joseph raised the sabre and threw it...
... impaling the judge through the chest.
The feline walked over and looked down at the dying spectre.
"(Rest in peace in Latin), you attercop."
Thalia's eyes grew wide as she checked Joseph pulse.
"Oh god..."

Kaya is sitting near Josephs cot and hurriedly come over when Thalia looks frightened. "Is everything alright?"

The girl stared up at Kaya.
"He's gone."

*His tasks compleate, Shadis now stands over Dominic. He places a paw over his forhead and closes his eyes.* "I... I don't think... I don't think I can revive him... I have no Idea whats going on in his head, and Im afraid what would happen if I try to find out."

"How did you know?"
Joseph turns to look at the gryphon.
"How did you figure out that I was the true judge and that he was the parasite?" it said as Joseph walked past it to unlock the chain.
"It was the way you looked in my eyes," he said. "I saw no evil when I locked eyes with you."
The shackles came loose.
"I see," the gryphon said. "Well, you are free to return to your body now. I will send you back. The sabre will accompany you. Use it well." He waved toward a circle on the floor. "Stand there."
Joseph did as he was told."
"One more thing," the gryphon said. "You will now have the ability to control fire of all sorts. Use it for good, not evil." It smiled. "Run like the river, Joseph."
The feline smiled at the scroll reference. "Fly you high."
With that, he was gone.
Upon awakening, Joseph found himself lying down.
"What the..." He went to get up and whacked his forehead against Wolf's paw.
"OW!" He put his hand to his head, then glanced around the room at everyone. Feuilly's sabre was leaning in the corner.

*Shadis withdraws his paw and stares at it surprised.* "Did I just heal someone?!" *He sounds more surprised that he may have healed, instead of killed, something for a change than the fact that Joesph was alive. He then shakes his head* "Errr, Joesph! Your alive! YAYYYYY!!!!!"

"Err... thanks, Wolf," Joseph said. His shoulder was bandaged, and he was lying in a cabin in the Sea Horse. "Man, that was weird..."
Thalia gaped at Joseph.
"How did you come back to life? You were dead."
Joseph stared at Thalia. "Who are you?" he asked. "And what do you mean I was dead? What the hell happened while I was out?" He cogitated for a moment. (Cogitate: to ponder something.) "HOW long have I been out?"

Dominic just watched, but seeing Joseph alive was good news. Dominic stood at the wheel and steered the ship. " I be glad hes alright, but now we must settle back to work and find that sword nest."

*Kaya Yells then punches Joesph's good shoulder with a pissed look on her face and storms off to the upper deck, grumbling to herself.*

"OW!" Joseph clutched his arm. "Seriously, Wolf... what happened after I got shot? And who's this other girl?"

Kaya is sitting on the ships rail and glaring out over the water happy that Joesph is ok but seriously pissed at her self for caring whether or not he dies. "you cant afford to get attached to anyone, you have a job to do.." She says to her self.

Thalia looked at Joseph. "My name is Thalia Wiseacre," she said, absentmindedly rubbing one arm. "I was trapped on the island, and I was the one who helped to mend you."
"Um... thank you," Joseph said, suddenly noticing the sword slung across her back. "I see you have Anduril." He smiled halfheartedly. "That's pretty coincidental."
"Yes, it is... but I have to ask," Thalia said. "How did you beat the arrow? No one has ever done so before."
"I killed the "judge" with that," he said, pointing to the sabre in the corner. "The true judge was the beast chained up at the end."

"Err, yes, what she said. You were hit my a magically poisened arrow. It carried a rather deadly bite, one of the worse I've seen in the hundreds of y-" *I stop and quickly change the topic* *You were hurt but you pulled through and now you are alive! Increadable indeed! After you went out, the rest of the crew brought u to the ship with this cast away, no offense ma'm. The captain then... Got us back out to sea. And now here we are mate. You sure do have a nasty habit of only getting hit in the soilder. It's like you dont want the wounds to heal up!" *I smile jokeingly* "How do you feel?"

Dominic noticed grey and white sails in the distance to the right. Dominic opened his spyglass to look at it. Dominic put it down. " Spanish ships on Starboard side!!! BATTLE STATIONS ON STARBOARD!" Dominic pulled his pistol out and held the wheel.
Boone ran to the deck and loaded a cannon.
Jack went below deck to load a heavy cannon.
Joe spun down to the deck and loaded another cannon.
Dominic looked at the ship, and it was heading straight for the seahorse. " HURRY YOU ONE HANDED SCALYWAGS!! YOU WANT TO LIVE!!!"

Kaya detaches herself from the railing and starts helping boone, jack, and joe load and ready the cannons.

Joseph rubbed the back of his head. "Fine, despite the pain, and..." He suddenly snapped to attention. "Do you hear something? Because I'm sure that I just heard..."
He heard it again; the distinct sound of a cannon.
"Um... I think you might want to get topside," the feline said. He slowly got up and fetched Feuilly's sabre from the corner, then laid back down, removed his hidden blade and pistol, and took some supplies out of his satchel. "I have some work to do... keep the ships stalled."

*Shadis gave Cifero a confused look,* "Stalled? I don't know what you mean. We better get top side." *With that, he turns and runs up the stairs and out to the deck. Quickly obserbing all that was happening, he ran to a cannon on deck and began loading it.*

Thalia stared at Joseph as he quickly dissasembled the pistol and the hidden blade and began building something else. "What are you doing?" she asked as the feline worked, moving his hands inhumanly fast as he finished up the device.
"Helping indirectly," Joseph said, placing the new mechanism on his left wrist. He walked over to a porthole, picking up a small sliver of wood on the way.
"Wait... you passed the test, right?"
"Yes," Joseph said, dipping the sliver in kerosine and loading it into a hole in the gauntlet.
"And you were given a new ability," Thalia said, wrapping her arms around her bare stomach as Joseph opened the porthole.
"Yes," Joseph said, pointing the gauntlet out the window.
"Okay," Thalia said, "but then why are you..." The black cat looked at the direction in which he was pointing the gauntlet. She smiled wryly. "You got control over fire, didn't you?"
Joseph held up his other hand so that it was right by the gauntlet's gun barrel, then glanced back at Thalia, smiling right back. "How did you guess?" he said, firing the piece of wood and lighting it on fire as it sped toward a Spnish ship.

Dominic turned the ship front heading to the spanish ship. " JACK AND JOE! FRONT CHASE CANNONS! THOW THAT WE ARE FACING THEM FROM FRONT STAY ON STARBOARD SIDE!"
Joe and Jack ran into the front bow of the ship and pushed the 2 front cannons out facing the spanish ship.
" FIRE!!"
The 2 front cannons fired at the spanish ship. Wood chunks blew off the front of the spanish ship. The ship turned right to the side facing the sea-horse. Dominic turned the ship left for the starboard facing the spanish ship. Jack and Joe returned to their starboard cannon posts. " FIRE!" Joe, Boone and Jack fired there cannons and began to reload them. The Spanish ship fired back.

And then caught on fire in one spot as Joseph's projectile hit the ship.
"There," Joseph said. "That should keep them dis...distracted...." He began to fall backwards, weak from the quick movements that he had just commited.
Thalia moved forward, catching him in her arms. She placed him gently on the bed, then ran to help the rest of the crew, drawing her knife.

*When the captain instructed him to, Shadis fired the cannon on the spanish ship, sending smoke, splinters, and spaniards flying. Thinking to himself,* "Man I hope they board us! My swords thirst for blood!"

(Okay, right now Joseph's unconscious, so for awhile, it'll just be my sister who will post.)
"Um, Shadis?" Thalia said, pointing towards the water, where there were Spanish longboats approaching the Sea Horse. "I think that you're getting your wish..."

Dominic looked at the longboats. " How unusual. They must not be spanish but unskilled rats whome takin a ship, they know nothing of boarding stratagy" Dominic shot his pistol at one of the longboat rowers in the head.

"Sir..."
Thalia drew her chakram and tensed up her legs.
"Allow me to handle them..."

The Captain stepped forward, ordering a barrage of cannon fire before having his First Mate ready a boarding party.

*The foes finally get the ship. Shadis draws his swords and leaps towards them, landing one two of them with his swords. He smiles crueling as the blood sprays on his face.* "FINALLY!!!" *He rips his swords out of the still living soilders and charges at two more, lightly blocking their attacks and slicing them in multiple places before they fall. His face twitches as they bleed out. He then leaps onto another soilder and begins to stab him repediatly, laughting the entire time.*

*Kaya laughs and joins in the bloodshed but has her self cloaked so the other pirates have know idea whom/what is coming. She yells and hollers excitedly as she throws daggers and two of the others[size=78%] look shocked and fall to the ground dead. She yanks out her daggers and the other pirates look stunned when sudden gashes [/size]appear[size=78%] on themselves and look terrified.* [/size]

*Shadis stops stabbing the now mutilated corpse and leaps onto the back of another soilder. He chomps down on his neck and tares, severing the spine and leaving him limp on the ground. Shadis then throws his head back and howls, sending many of the other soilders scrambling away from him in terror. He gives chase, not even bothering to use his swords any more.*

Two Spanish soldiers make it up to the wheel deck. Dominic pulls his sword out. The soldier up 1st threw himself after Dominic with his sword. Dominic dodged and stabbed the soldier in the back. Pulling the sword out of the soldiers back, Dominic reacts the the next soldier who was now attacking Dominic. Dominic blocked sword to sword and kicked the soldier flying back down the steps. Dominic held his pistol out and shot the soldier in the head. " HAHAHAHA!"
Joe's Fangs were out and his arms ( You know the arms that arnt legs but are next to fangs if you disagree take a look at a spider and find out.) carried 1 blade, and 1 pistol. He shot one soldier crawling over the railing onto the deck, and crawled on the mast waiting for one to come so he could snag him with web for his next dinner meal. " Hold together, if one comes to the mast, leave him to me! I want him alive for me next meal.. Hahahaha!"
Jack and Boone stayed down below and fired the cannons at the ship. Jack kept running back and fourth for barrels of cannons balls and powder." Here.. theres more... If we keep having to be a 2 formed full shooting crew we ganna run out of powder and balls!" Boone refilled his cannon." Well it looks like we have some luck on our hands.. that ship over there looks like it has the same size of cannons as we do! Wel have to scrap them when were finnished with them"

The captain smirked, stepping forward. "You seem rather... joinous of the slaughter of my crew. Perhaps we could make a deal," he said.

He watched them fight, his remaining crew descretely picking up guns and aiming at the pirates.

Suddenly, Thalia's eyes snapped open. She tossed her chakram, which flew at the soldiers and knocked the guns away before it came back to her hand.
Back in the cabin, Joseph forced himself to get up and walk to the deck of the ship. He hid just inside the doorway.

*After 'removing' the entrails of a soilder, Shadis rose to his feet and wiped his muzzle off, smiling. He turned to look for another victim, but found none. He turns to Kaya* "Good times, am I right?" *He smiles non threateningly and innocently.*

*She grins and is still invisible to everyone* that indeed this is, Joseph, you should not be up yet. *She walks over and drops her spell * you really should not be up.

"Mmmmm, soilders are filling... Captain! Orders?"

"It's okay, Wolf."
Joseph, ignoring the pain in his shoulder, aimed his hand at the ship. He focused on a specific lantern.
"Come on..."
Suddenly, the lantern exploded, setting the deck of the enemy ship aflame.
The feline lowered his hand.
"Alright, I'll go back now."

come on lets get you back below now. *kaya starts ushering Jesph back down to his cot.*

"Ow... thanks, Kaya..."

The Spanish ship explodes. " No! We needed to raid it after their fail attempt to raid us, we needed amunition for our cannons." Dominic turned the wheel back to the main direction. " It looked like it had alot of gun powder... err forget it, they arnt our trouble anymore, is everyone still alive and ok?"

A small fleet of Spanish ships started to hem them in. Cannons were readied, courses steadied. One of the ships readied to ram the pirates. Danny, tied to the base of the main mast and gagged with a cloth, watched them. She growled under her breath. 'Look up stupid!' she thought.

*Shadis stared at the now burning Spanish ship in disbeleaf.* "Joesph! How the hell did you do that?!?!?!" *His eyes suddenly widen and he turns his head, to spot the incoming Spanish ships. He sees Danny tied to the mast. Under his breath,* "Oh, thats where she went..." *Out loud* "SPANISH SHIPS INCOMING OFF THE PORT BOW!!!!!!!"

Dominic looks over to the fleet. " ALL HANDS ON SAILS! PUT THEM TO SAINT SPEED ON FIVE DEGREASE TO THE LEFT! STRETCH THE FRONT SAIL TO 45 DEGREASE RIGHT! MOVE QUICKLY!"
Boone and Jack came to main deck and climbed up to the mast.
Joe spun up quickly to the front sail and connected its rope to the right side on the 1st mast post. the sail had caught the wind forward. Joe then jumped to the sails on the front mast and turned them five degrease left and the caught with the wind. The ship moved a little faster.
Dominic waited for all sails to be turned. " MAKE THEM TO CATCH THE WIND, SAIL WITH THE WIND! THATS HOW THE SEA HORSE TAKES HER PRAY!"

He suddenly picked up a familiar thought pattern.
"Oh god, Kaya," Joseph said. "The Spanish... they've got Danny."
He drew his knife.
"We've got to rescue her!"

*sharply* "no! you have to stay here! you can not be fighting like this. you need to rest. no point in you getting so worked up to end up almost killing your self. Shadis and i can help her. better yet i can sneak aboard and get my revenge as well.. that is his ship. but first you HAVE to promise you are going to stay here."

( Wolf, it was a figure of speech about the prey thing, we are really trying to escape.. Its impossible to fight a fleet against 1 ship with little crew.. without the the sword, and well the Organ requires tone so non knows what tones to play for a sea monster, or how to play it..)

*Kaya shields her self then hurries up onto the deck and jumps off into the water. the splash is barily recognizable and she starts to swim out towards the ship that holds Danny and the monster that took her life of normalcy....*

(Black's right. Most pirate ships had 200 to 400 crew per ship to account for deaths of scurvy, battle, and fights. And that was a SCOOP. Trust me, the type of ship BH drew was much more similar to a spanish galleon, not a scoop. Much bigger, much slower, much more top heavy, MANY more people. As in hundreds. On a somewhat related note, I really don't think five people could handle anything larger than a sailboat alone.)
Danny struggled with the ropes before a sword was placed to her thoat. "Girl, I wouldn't fight those. They don't like it." The ropes had started to tighten painfully, like snakes, at his words, making her hiss at the pain. "Now, what do you say we start your punishment for the king?"

'Uh, pepper hair and- AAAAGH!!!' Pain shot through her shoulder from the branding iron, white hot from the stove and in the shape of an "S". She fought the ropes again, desparate to get away from the pain.
"I asked you a question brat! Now, where is your crew?" he said as he dipped it back in the iron tub, filled with coals and wood. They'd brought it up from the galley, iron prods hot and ready.

The crew menber heard a voice in his head, the nsaw no more.
A single dagger drew itself out of the man's body, then hopped over to Danny and cut through her bonds.
"Danny!" a disembodied voice said. "This is Joseph. I placed some of my consciousness into this dagger and sent it to help you get free. I would've come myself, but I promised Kaya I wouldn't... I'm still recovering from being shot."

Dominic looked over at Kaya who was swimming to the ships. " KAYA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING.. FUR OVERBOARD!" Dominic turned the ship to go slow and not with the wind to wait if she would turn around, tho if the ships caught up, they would be dead.. Kaya has jeapordized the Sea Horse. Could he wait for one to come back and get nearly killed or killed, or should he just keep the ship moving. It was tough.

*Shadis stared at Kaya as she swam.* "Well, thats the end of my feeding time. I got her Captain!" *He then shiethed his swords and jumped, gracefully this time, onto one of the Spanish long boats. Since it was empty, he took the oars and quickly rowed over to Kaya. With much struggling, he manages to scoop her up and pull her aboard the boat. He then began rowing back to the Sea Horse.* "Now is not the time to pick up strays, Kaya. We knew nothing about her and she isn't worth us getting trapped by the Spanish. Their all almost upon us. We need to get out of her. I sense Cifero is up to something, so dont worry about Danny. Now leave, I'd don't want to become a nice rug or blanket, and I doubt you do either." *Rows back to the Sea Horse*

The crew lashed out at the knife, appropriately creeped out. Danny watched it warily, the crew closing in. "I don't know. They got me on that blasted island," she said, ducking a blow and kicking up, catching the man's head and knocking him to the ground. Before she could land another blow though, pain seared unbidden through her again, this time on her back. An agonized screech escaped her lips as she slipped to her hands and knees. Another crew member attacked the knife with a poker, white hot from the fire.

Suddenly, the dagger reared back, hopped high into the air, and blasted the man with a controlled jet of white-hot flame before landing safely on top of the steaming unconscious Spaniard.
"Oh yeah," Joseph's voice said. "I can control fire now. I should have mentioned that... oh, there they are."
The knife hopped over to the corner and pulled out an open wooden box. Danny's weapons were nestled inside.
The knife slid its blade through the hilt of the sword and tossed it towards Danny. "Catch!" it thought-said.

Dominic turned the ship back to the winds direction and the ship moved quickly again.

Joseph comes out of his mind projection with a start.
"What the... how did I get Wolf?" he muttered. "Hm... I guess it's just because I'm still weak from that arrow. Although I wonder why the hell Wolf was thinking about the Great Wall of China... and some futuristically dressed singer named Rick Astley..." {*}
Joseph projected his thoughts again, this time making sure that it was Kaya before he began to talk.
"Hi Kaya. Sorry about before, my mind's still a bit screwed up from the arrow tests."

With that, Joseph swiftly ended his connection with Kaya and pulled his consciousness back.
The young feline flopped backwards on the bed, exausted.
"Note to self," he murmured. "Do not communicate with people who are a long distance away while injured."

Danny was once again tied to the main mast, bound for Spain. Sweat ran over her fur, panting from pain. Several prods had been used on her arms and back, burning her lovely fur to black and leaving welts. She could fight and take that pain, but this... This was far from her limits. But dispite it all, only one thought allighted on her mind.
She was alone. And they had no intention of letting her live.

Joseph got Kaya's message.
And he didn't like it.
Leaning on a stick that he found in his room, Joseph carefully made his way to the poopdeck.
"Sir," he asked the Captain, "what did Kaya do that caused you to..."
Suddenly, Joseph remembered hearing that someone had gone overboard.
"Wait a minute... but then..." He suddenly glared at the Captain. "What the hell is wrong with you, Dominic?"

Capitan to danny* Now, you will tell me what you know of that ships crew, their objectives, and maybe, just maybe, i will let you live.

Dominic looks over to Joseph. " If we had waited any longer we would be pepered with cannon fire from the fleet, and they would have shot Kaya on sight, and along with that because we had to wait, and if we had waited any longer we would be dead... Perhaps it would be best not to get ourselves killed for someone we hardly would ever know. Mabye if we got the Sword soon enough I could go where them ships are going. Besides she will live for atleast a few days, they tied her up as prisoner, therefor there govenrment to exicution runs slowly compared to how many they are exicuting each day..."

Joseph comes out of his mind projection with a start.
"What the... how did I get Wolf?" he muttered. "Hm... I guess it's just because I'm still weak from that arrow. Although I wonder why the hell Wolf was thinking about the Great Wall of China... and some futuristically dressed singer named Rick Astley..." {*}
Joseph projected his thoughts again, this time making sure that it was Kaya before he began to talk.

He focused his eyes into Dominic's, as though staring into his brain.
"How did you see Kaya jump off of the ship when all that time, she was invisible?"

" Yee best get some sleep, your out of your head Joseph.. How would ya like me to throw you overboard if you dont straight out that attitude." Dominic pulled his pistol out and pointed at Joseph. " Now all I saw was Kaya visbily jumping in the water, what is that you saw Joseph?" Dominic said with sarcazm.

Joseph angrily pushed the image of Rick Astley out of his mind, and concentrated just in time to hear Dominic's words... then jumped back slightly as he realized that the horse had a gun pointed at him.
"Whoa! What are... oh, I wasn't telling you to shut up. Sorry. But seriously, Kaya was entirely invisible. All that I saw was the splash."
He turned and went to leave, but then looked back.
"I'll work on my attitude," the feline said, "but I promise you, if it comes to having to change myself entirely, I'll save you the trouble and throw myself off."
With that, Joseph walked up to where Kaya and Wolf were sitting.
"Wolf, please don't mess with me when I'm talking to the captain. I nearly got shot because he thought I had told him to shut up." He sat down and looked over at Kaya. "I'm sorry that I came up here," the feline said. "I was getting kind of lonely, and since communicating telepathically would have killed me and you couldn't come down there, I decided to come up here."

Dominic put away his pistol. He watched Joseph walk over to the others. " Must be having Skirvey in his head deep already." The Sea-Horse was out full open sea again, and the spanish ships were out of site. Dominic took a look at the map and saw they were much closer to the swords location. But there were strange symbols on its land area, like a different language, Dominic could only understand some of it. Fire was in it. He looked to its top symbol that was barly burnt and hard to tell with only a swirl line at 1 end, the top had a strange blade looking thing, mabye it wasnt a blade, the burnt hole was covering most of it. And the other side was a head with horns. " Hmmm, strange.. Anyone know Greek language?"

"Hold on guys, I'll be right back," he said. Moving as swiftly as he could while still being careful, he went over to where Dominic was poring over a map of sorts.
"I can read Greek, sir," the feline said.

Thalia watched the happenings from afar, leaning against the main mast. She had changed into a pair of dark green pants and a black sleeveless t-shirt that ended just above her abdomen. She had removed the belt from her other clothing and now had it on the pants instead. Anduril hung by her side, along with her knife and chakram.
(Clothing change... thought it would seem a bit un-piratelike to go around dressed as Wilykit.)

"Well, I can't make out all of the letters," he said, "but I'll translate what I can."
Taking out a piece of paper and a charcoal pencil, Joseph wrote down:

"That's all I can make out," the feline said. "The rest is too burnt to read. However, I'm completely sure that this last word is 'Temple'." He leaned on one elbow as he though. "Racdrops, this is hard..."
He suddenly noticed that Thalia was watching with interest. She had changed her clothes in order to fit in better.
"Nice clothes, Thalia," Joseph said politely. "They're definitely more appropriate for serving in a pirate crew. No offense, the other clothes were fine, but you don't see the Chinese..."
And then it hit him.
"The Chinese... THAT'S IT!"

The feline turned over the piece of paper, wrote what he previously wrote, and then filled in the spaces.
"There you go," he told Dominic. "Your location." He pointed to the words underneath what he had previously written. They read:

Dominic looked at it. " Aye, then that must be its corse of name. Dorn is an ancient saying for Relme in our furry language. Relme as in, where Dragons lived before.. But now they are gone, so we don't have anything to worry about, but I beleive thats where the Swords home is. All these lands on this map that are black and not brown, are lands unknown to the world... DRAGONS WATERS THAT BE OUR PATH!" Dominic hollard for everyone to only hear the dragon waters part. He turned the wheel abit left.

Dominic looked apon the ship and and posts crew members could be at. Joseph works for Jack now, Wolf is under watch by Joe and hopefully both groups are going well. But now Kaya and the newcommer still havnt been decided, so he thought of a few options. " Is anyone good with medicene, or doctor stuff? And wh is good with sails and mast work, and who is good at navigation, and steering.. And Joseph, sleep down deck, not my quarters, that place is yet off limits."

In a quieter voice,* "I'll bring him to his quarters, sir." *He carries Joesph to his bunk and places him in it, taking care to put his blanket on him. Thinking to himself,* "huh. He reminds me of my little brother... How I miss that crazy otter." *Shadis then left the room, filled with memories of his very much long dead adopted brother.*

It's not that I like my privacy, which I do, but I've seen things. Things so terrifing that your mind would snap like an oar in a giant squid's beak. For your own safty, stay out please." *Shadis then walks out of the room, shielding his mind and mumbling to himself that his mental barriers keep wearing off.*

*Suddenly, the mast of the Sea horse snapped as the main sails came crashing down. Shadis stood next to it, laughing methodically, since he caused it with magic. His paws holding charged spells, he let loose jets of flames. Withing moments, the entire ship was ablaze. He screamed with delight and he drew his swords and stabbed the now downed Jack the Spider repediatly. Withing moments, the spider's legs were twitching and his various body segments lay strewn about the now burning ship. Shadis then lept at the captain screaming,* "THE SWORD WILL BE MINE!!!!!!!"

He enters his shadow form as the air around him distorts and time seems to go at a stand still. Only Shadis, Joesph, and Kaya can move. Flexing his now silver claws, Shadis smiles, relieving his silver teeth.* "Good Night Cifero" [Yes, I meant to say Cifero. ;) Had to squeese that in their somewhere] *With that, Shadis pounces forward, knocking Glandring aside as his begins slashing into Joesph with his silver claws. To Joesph's surprise, and horror, no physical wound is present on his body as he is slashed. Instead, he can feel his spirit and very life force begin slashed and cut at. The world begins to darken as his spirit is torn to pieces.* [No spirit, no afterlife. A far crueler fate I say >:3 But rememeber, your not dead yet. You still have your mind powers, your fire powers, and I am HIGHLY suseptable to magic in this state. Magic that is infused in your sword!]

He then chants a little chant in latin as various shadows pull to gethet. Eventually, they form Scarlet once more, but she is in a shadowy werewolf form like me.*"Welcome Back Scarlet. You are a shade now, since your body was destroyed. Rise and let us devour Joesph and the Captain!"

Once the transformation process ends, Shadis + Kaya = Shadya! :D Shadya stands before Cifero. He (Our body is still mine, your conciousness is jsut inside of me) stands 7 feet tall over Joesph. His blood red runes are now half red, half purple. Several different designs now exist on our body. In a distorted voice,* "Well Joesph, how do we look?"
