Title: Monthly Theme Vote (Sept. 2011)

FORUM THEME VOTE. :D

Tweak and I have more forum theme options in store for you guys, and on the first day of each month, we're going to let you pick the ones you want added next! We'll also be adding different options in future months. ;)


The top two winners will be made available shortly after the poll is completed. So pick the two you like - you only have a week to vote!

I would have picked orange too, but I could only pick two so I went with pink and rainbow. (Coraline would love to see a rainbow theme. XD )

Gray scale, for a more soothing theme that's more comfortable on the eyes. :D

I voted rainbow and greyscale.

Rainbow is just plain epic, but might turn off a few people

Greyscale is easy on the eyes, but might be a little boring

i voted for orange and rainbow.

i like the one i have now blue and black, but oranage will be nice. rainbow at least you have 7 colors there

Yes. The greyscale theme is entirely based on grey, black, and white.

Greyscale.
It doesn't intrude or shout in your face or try to distract you. It's simply there and doesn't judge you. Greyscale isn't concerned with trying to make friends with you, its just there to get the job done and let you focus on what matters. You can call it dull but greyscale won't mind, won't care, it doesn't take sides. Greyscale understand that light and dark are two sides of the same coin.

...what do you mean the colour scheme isn't a person with feelings? <_<;

All of the themes listed will be put into place sooner or later. You guys are just deciding which ones go first.

I definitely didn't choose rainbow because of MLP. No interest in it.
I chose rainbow because, well, look at my current avatar picture. Coraline would like some rainbow. Plus, I just like rainbow because it's pretty. I like pink and orange too. I probably would have picked everything if we weren't limited to choosing only two. Heh.
I'm glad they'll all be added eventually though.

There will be a new poll each month, and options that were not chosen in previous votes will still be available to choose from in the future, along with any new ones we may or may not add.

I have to ask, though, why the poll? If users can choose what theme they want using the Look and Layout tab like they can now, then why not just make all the prepared ones availible? Just curious.

Because it's more fun this way, and gives us stuff to look forward to instead of throwing it in all at once and people losing interest the next day.

The voting has closed, and the Rainbow and Greyscale themes are our winners for this month.

Both are now available for use in the Look and Layout options of your profile, so check them out. :)

Oooh pink sounds nice. I personally would like some kinda wicked black. Greyscale does the job pretty dang well, so does black on red, but I'm thinking black on black on black.

Zeph, how would you feel about themes that aren't solid color? I had some ideas like:

* A cherry blossom theme
* A graffiti theme
* A collage theme
* An animated theme ....maybe falling pawprints?

I would be willing to create themes for the forum, if you tell me what size they need to be and how to do them correctly. In fact, I would LOVE to! :3
