Hi all,

As you will have noticed an advert has now appeared in the top right of the forums.

This is a trial to see how much revenue can be made from displaying adverts. This will be the only advert displayed and we feel it is discreet enough and in an area with no other information to not interfere with standard forum usage.

I have always been against adverts here on the Forums but the possible revenue from page views as well as clicks could aid in supporting the forums into the future, something in the current economic climate I am eager to do.

All adverts should be contextual to the forums, anything which you deem inappropriate please report to me and I will block such ads. If there is interest the Google Ads can be interspersed with your own adverts.

Please note: ONLY click on adverts that interest you, repeated clicking to gain revenue will result in my account being shut down, something that will negatively affect myself and my projects.

Should be in the right of the welcome box area. May require a CTRL+F5 to start showing due to our cache settings.

Well, no it wouldn't, that's generally the result of using Adblock. Thanks for supporting the forum though! ^_^

Sorry Tweak, but I don't see any advertisements in the upper-right of the forums, no matter where I go.

They should be showing now, appeared to be a bug in the script which meant only those who could edit the ads could see them!
