Ok, first off, this is FURS ONLY. Sorry to all scalies and non-anthros. In this story, you will be a student at Feral High School. It is a 3 year institute, (Like a Japanese High School) and you will either be a Freshman, Junior or Senior. For the moment, no teachers. In this RP, I will almost not give you anything to work with. You will, with your very own character, create your own drama. However, from time to time, I will be throwing out rumors around the school. How you deal with it will make the story. Romances are limited to Players ONLY. No romances with NPC's. There will be days that are skipped so that we don't move too slowly. However, please stay within the same time of day as everyone else so that we get no conflicts. I will start after we've got enough people accepted.
Rules:
-MUST post whenever you're on. (May not be gone more than 2 times a week or else you're bounced)
-MUST post AT LEAST 3 lines per post. Short posts = Non-creativity = death to RP.
-Absolutely NO magic or dangerous weapons. (Practice ones can be acceptable if you are in an appropriate club)
-MUST join a school club.
-Respect ALL players.
-Must post in order.
-Limit 1 character per person.
3 strikes, you're out. To avoid this action, post to let everyone know what's going on. If you're constantly asking to be skipped and/or give bad reasons to be skipped, then you will either get strikes or booted without argument.

Bio: Shinzuu had always been the pretty-boy at school. He's tall, athletic and very popular with the ladies. But there's a problem, he has allergic reactions to girls. He breaks out into hives right on the spot. So he's afraid of women. Shinzuu faces discrimination from his family to always study as hard as he can in school and is always pushing himself to be a better athlete. His family thinks he's gay.

Species: Arctic Wolf.
Stereotype: Tomboy.
Club(s)/Team(s): Cheerleading and chorus.
Bio: Even though Veronica is a cheerleader, she is always stereotyped as a tomboy because when she isn't cheering she is usually in jeans and a t-shirt or hoodie. She doesn't generally dress girly and doesn't wear make-up except if she needs to for cheering. Just naturally good at school work, she gets decent grades (most A's and B's with a C or two scattered in occasionally). She has never had a boyfriend and believes that no guy in the school has any interest in her whatsoever. She's quite self-conscious and has a low self-esteem. She's very modest about her looks and if she rated herself on a scale of 1-10, she would probably give herself a 5 if not lower because she doesn't believe she looks that great even though she is pretty and has been told so by some friends and family. The time where she is the most confident is when she's cheering or singing because she can just let things out.

Bio: Reno was traumatized by the deaths of his parents during the party they threw for him becoming a Junior. While they were all out front a drunk driver careened over the curb and crushed them both; only feet away from Reno. He always prefered to keep himself distant from others, atleast in person. Reno had a tough look on him, he was a good looking guy and being Irish automatically gave him a natural charm. He was a very nice person and pretty funny if you get to know him, he was also very smart and very lazy. He got his nickname due to and orange splotch of fur on his face; someone said it made him look like Garfield and the name just stuck. Even though Reno was young he worked, and he was also out of a home due to the deaths of his parents so he needed a job so he could rent a hotel every night. Even though he was intellegent, he purposely maintaned a C average. Normally Reno wouldn't have sought out a club to join, he always just wanted to go home to his laptop and play games. But a new program that was forced onto his class made him pick a club to join, so he chose chess in hopes he wouldn't have to talk much. He was also on the swim team since he started at the school. Also, only a few of the staff know of his parent's deaths and he doesn't ask for sympathy nor does he expect it.

If anything, her reputation for being a trouble teen either makes her intimidating or "awesome" to the other kids. Some rumors have spread that she punched a teacher at her last school, and that's why she was moved here. No one seems to know where she goes after school because she seemingly falls off the face of the earth and has no indication of a "home life."

classes normally start at 8:00am and end at 3:00pm, in which we all go to clubs and/or teams. lunch is universal, as i said, at noon for 1 hour. You got 5 minutes between classes while waiting for the next teacher to come in.

Before I allow or even consider letting you join, you have a history of trying to skip having to type the FULL 3 lines, and usually only type less than 1 line's worth. How will I know that you'll adhere to the rules this time?

She runs the school and the Disciplinary Committee alongside 6 other hand-selected teachers.

And I'm just going to post to make sure that your post merge is actually seen so everybody's clear on the "no Dean" thing.

Also, if you want to know what our school gym looks like during the school year, here's what it is like compared to the first day. The "stage" that was there, was just a bunch of tables put together. Only one end has doors going in, so only 1 exit. Those are double-doors that slide open, but are securely locked, which i will describe if need be. There is an indoor track that covers the whole long-box-shaped gym, it is accessed by a pull-down ladder at the top of the bleachers. The whole left side (when facing in) is cut off and walled to be used as storage. There are stairs there to the track, as well. The rest of the gym is just a basketball court. The baskets hang just below the track, so you can imagine how high those tracks are.

Shinzuu excused himself after shaking Veronica's hand, blushing a bit under his fur. He grabbed a stack of pizzas and burger onto his plate and then grabbed/balanced four cups of cola and brought it back to the table before Drevo started his intros. "Sorry, I'm really hungry. But I got everyone a cola, at least. Here." Shinzuu handed out the drinks and chewed on his pizza. He pointed at Schadenfreude as he face Veronica. "Her name's Schadenfreude. Everyone, this is Veronica, one of our flying cheerleaders." Shinzuu picked up another piece and ate the whole thing in one bite, and chewed it a bit before wolfing it down.

Ok, so here's what's going to happen to you guys. And since Snow's not responding, I'm not gonna intro him.
Shinzuu: Pestered by fellow players and even more pestered by the girls trying to get his attention. Result, basically flooded with a LOT of crap
Vee: You will be hated and hazed at school, even while on the cheerleading squad.
Reno: People will stop picking on you entirely. No one messes with you or even thinks about it.
Schad: You start getting attention from all the gay guys, particularly the ones who are weak and can't stand up for themselves, and them thinking that you just want attention for wearing the girls' uniform. (basically what's happening to Shinzuu w/ the girls, but are guys, and they think you are one)

sorry, guys, I've been at PortCON with Vee for the last 2 days, and yesterday we were out from 8AM til 1AM, so I haven't had a chance to post yet.
as for uniforms, I've figured of just having the traditional Japanese school uniforms, just merely having Feral High's Insignia on the collar of the guys' and the locket of the girls' (sailor suits for girls).

Bio: Until his junior year, Urvis was always at the wrong place at the wrong time. The amount of fights he got into and his lack of holding back was supposed to have landed him in 2-G, but his grades, extra-curricular activities, and Priniciple Yass' personal evaluation after meeting with him were the only factors that kept him in the 'A' class. However, most of the class A's and B's saw fit to poke and prod him for why he acts the way he does; but it mostly was replied with by silence, or visible frustration. But since he never reacted much in that fashion, the ones with the 'Alpha male' mentality always try to put him in 'his place' during either lunch or just after school. Surprisingly, he only had the one rumor going around that he killed the first people he fought with, which was proven wrong the day after the rumor reached his ears.

There's no boxing in the school, and Karate Club is the thing you're getting in that field. There's no Jazz Club, just band, which meets before school.
EDIT: It's rare that anyone's allowed to run more than 1 after-school activity.

Well, that was my exit post. Come the end of today, I'm going to start my break. And I posted "The next day" not to advance the RP, but just what Reno does. If you want to, you can spot Reno, but as I stated, he's unresponsive. If your characters are interested enough to wonder what happened, the only person you'd be able to ask would be the Principal. She'll tell you his best friend just died and he's going to his funeral. Maybe she'd even slip out that his parents are dead too. Up to you.

We'll probably end up pausing the RP after a couple days since even in high school, you can miss no more than 4-5 days of school, though technically they don't care in the Japanese school system, I think we'll pause it when we hit Saturday night in the RP. Kinda don't want to be without you for too long or else it'll really mess up what I've had in mind for the RP to go.

No offense, Cuddles, but I never even thought of it, neither did even care. I've a major in aeronautics, so, as Vee has already stated. Your chances of getting in a car accident are much higher. Even if the plane ended up going down and/or just have a power failure, it is pretty much impossible for it to dive or drop in a way that would be deadly, lest the pilot and co-pilot mysteriously die

well, since you just beat the crap outta someone, i'd say just a day with the buckets. normally, for some odd reason, as long as you don't get caught in the act, even the obvious evidence doesn't mean anything. but since you were caught, just standing in front of the school, holding buckets and wearing a sign about why you got there, hanging around your neck. And then a parent is asked to come to the school for counseling and just to let the parent know what happened. I'm sure you can come up with something for that one.

Shinzuu probably won't post until late tonight or tomorrow morning. We didn't get home until 10:45 last night then we had to leave at 8:15 this morning to get him to work at 9:15, and he works a 12 1/2 hour shift today because he said he'd cover someone else's shift, so once again we won't be home until 10:45. So he won't have a chance to post until then and it's up to him whether he wants to stay up and post or just go straight to bed.

I would guess that she hasn't seen that she has messages. Sometimes it takes me a while to notice when I have one, but I'm used to checking more than a newbie is.
Whenever someone posts in one of Shinzuu's RPs without posting in the OOC first, I always have him leave it to me to tell them how serious RPs work because new people are more likely to listen to a mod than a regular member, or at least that's how it seems.

After all, despise his strange presence he's one of the best students as he made himself enough time for learning too through the years. His life has been stable until now...will it remain the same? It depends actually...what age are mainly the juniors and freshmen? I believe junior is a step higher than freshman. If that is so then I'll replace with junior and the age that comes naturally. I don't want my character to be one of those who repeated the year. Also, could I add physical description in the bio like how he look most of the time and what he wears?

quick setup on the school's functions: lunch is universal at noon for 1 hour. Gym classes are right after. all grades have the same gym class, so yea. Girls and guys are separated except for basketball, it's just separate ends of the court. Class #'s are 1 through 3, equal to what grade they're in (also which floor that their classes are). Class letters range from A-G, A being the smartest students and G being the least smartest (or just the farthest behind, most athletes are found in these classes with the dumb ones).

Yes, a smart goth. Do you really think everyone with strange tastes in music has to be all dumb and brainless? Actually, I have documented myself and these peculiar specimens relating to pessimistic type of music have their ICQ's higher than the casual types that have their stats all at the same level, but not expert in a certain domain. And clubs and team are WHAT? Mandatory? Oh do I really have to describe how Luca achieved his reward in singing and such? I could spare all of this time really, and go directly to the even point where fabrication begins. I'd like to see my chars approved faster without so many details being discussed over some minor imperfection...as if it's real life and everything has to be so serious. It's a role play after all...no one won't kill you if you go softer on the newcomers a bit.

everyone follows all the same rules, you are not exempt from that because you are new. However, I'd say you're the first to complain. Your character is already in a club as you have so well stated in your profile, so I don't know what your problem is. And as I had said before, your character was approved, but just needed to change certain things on your bio. You really need to chill out. Yes, it is an RP, but it goes with the descriptions of the RP. My RPs have boundaries and rules because they have specific story types. For my fantasy ones, they are within certain realms to prevent people from being too powerful. The concept of this particular RP is based on real life. It's based on being a Japanese High School drama.
You are not being singled out. If you spend some time to skim thru the story and even the OOC, you'll notice that.

Nycram, while it may not be enforced rules on the forums, there are still rules in RPs set by the OP. You have to follow them while being a part of the RP or you can just not take a part in this roleplay and move on to another. No one is singling you out, if you look through the OOC thread you can see where others have been fussed at for not following the rules also. It's not because you're new, trust me. Being someone who often starts RPs, rules are set so that people don't deviate too far from the story.

Just in case anyone would like to know...
I've already told Shinzuu that this RP is like re-living high school for me almost (except the guy I liked didn't like me back, that I knew), so if it ever seems like I'm not very enthusiastic about posting or in my posts it's because I know exactly how my character would feel and I'm feeling it again too.
So yeah, this part of the whole thing isn't really a fun experience for me, so I'm just making myself go through it since I know how things are going will change (in a couple weeks, Shinzuu said, but I don't know if he means in the RP or in real life *shrugs*).
I'm sorry if my posts are depressing to read at times, but I'm promise they'll be more "upbeat" in a while. :)

Bio: Having grown up without a mother and an alcoholic father, Sam finds himself living mostly on his own. He finds his own food, money, and ways of dealing with his troubled life. He is more punctual in class than one would normally expect. He's a big guy and normally friendly but not one to get into a fight with. He can be seen roaming the halls with his tattoo'd arms and metal studded jacket from which he'd torn the sleeves. His mohawk would appear to be the source of his "power" as he isnt the same on the days when he wears it down. If there's one thing Sam lives for, it's a good party or a good game of football.

Mmkay, questions. So since it's a japanese high school does that make me Japanese? Also Japanese people don't play American football? Am I allowed to MAKE an Anarchy club? If not, is there anything remotely close to one? Having said that, is there a list of clubs to join?
Sorry about all the Q and A but this being Japanese style makes me feel clueless. :(
I have no issue posting everyday (unless it conflicts with a posting order i.e. someone lags behind in posting), but there are the rare times where I don't have access to internets because my connection is fail or that I am kidnapped by the parentals and taken to my cottage (which is in a hole) and has to reception.

no, you may not start Anarachy in the school. teams only exist for soccer only. no you don't have to be Japanese (My character is probably the only RP charat that's Japanese).

EDIT: I guess everyone's already forgotten. The RP is called Fur-al High, but the school itself is called Feral High. I named the RP Fur-al High because we're furries, and it was kind of a play at words.

Oh, I was going to say something about my post...
I had the thing that happened in my post planned since the first time I had my character not eat and it wasn't supposed to happen yet because it won't get my desired effect right now, but if I wait until that point it'll be an unrealistic amount of time for someone to go without eating and not pass out. So yeah, it's there but the effect/reaction I want from it won't happen because the character I want said effect/reaction from is still in the jerk-state. :P

I thought we were heading home for they day, whereas practice was starting when this happened in terms of Veronica, so I just assumed Schad was in Art Club when it happened.

Veronica hangs around the school during the time in between the end of classes and her cheering practice. The MMA Club that Shinzuu is in happens just about right after classes and since Cuddles' character went to swim practice right after school ended, I would think that ends about the same time that cheering practice starts (just like track practice and MMA club).
But anyways, it's not really a big deal. I just thought it was kind of funny.
Btw, Shinzuu is exhausted from work and not really in a state where he can think of posts for RPs so he won't be posting until tomorrow.

Yeah, I predicted the drama. I knew that he would see my character walk by the open door and that would have been fine, but then when you had your character hustle by and go up the stairs I knew that the drama would ensue.

He was told by his mother that he is gonna be one of the oldest freshman in Fural High. Which he is confused about because he was a sophomore at Weston High. It is expected that the basketball coach will want him because of his hight but, he knows he's not the most athletic person as far as land based sports are concerned. He is also ready for the new school altho he doesn't think that starting after the school year has started is the best idea in the world but, at the same time does not want to wait for a whole new year to start as well. Reno didn't jump in the ambulance with Schad, Shinzuu did. Reno got taken down by officers when he tried to go against them and get into the ambulance. He was taken to the hospital by one of the cops after the issue was settled because the female cop felt bad for him.

Bio: Initially from Germany, she moved to America for the most part of her teen years. Veronica had looked at the floor and stepped out of the way when Reno walked up. "Thanks..." She mumbled, really meaning it but just feeling shy about it. She watched Shiori and Shinzuu eat, surprised at how much Shinzuu ate by himself. When Shiori said it was time to go and Error ----> Shinzuu <-----Error. hadn't come out of the guest room yet, she gently knocked on the door. "Reno, come on, we gotta get moving." She said this in a way that wouldn't really be rushing him but just making him aware of the fact that he needed to come out now so they could all leave.

you do know that kyuudo is quite a world apart from archery, right?

kyuudo requires quite a bit more dexterity and concentration, since the range of a yew and kyuudo exceed those of western bows and longbows. also, you do NOT shoot from the center of the bow, it's about a quarter up the bottom, and the tension on the strings require more strength. also, the technique and etiquette to do kyuudo is quite different from using a western bow.

sorry, cuddles, rigor, but the MMA club is on the 3rd floor with the wall between two classrooms taken down, and the desks put off to the side. the gym's used for the basketball team and cheerleaders. Wrestling Club is in a room that's adjoined to the supply sheds behind the gym. (there's also a small locker room connected to it as well)
