This discussion board is for those who actually play the card game. No posting in here to bash us, and please make another board if you want to discuss the series or the abridged series. References are ok, but no discussions on the shows. Also, share your decks, and even get a test run on them. I had created a program back in high school that I continually update to adjust for new cards that runs 100 simulations between any two decks. Also, you can come here for any rules and ban-list updates. I was and am still an official judge so feel free to ask me about any discrepancies you and your fellow players have been having.
I'll start by saying hi as the Neo-Kaiba of both University of Illinois in Springfield and College of DuPage.

i used to play, really good game too, till i got three authentic god cards and five pieces of whats his name. it got too easy so i quit selling my deck on e-bay for 627$ i wish i hadnt i miss it so much

I have a harpie deck, though I haven't put together an actual deck for a while now, so I don't remember which of the cards to list.

One of my friends has a harpie deck, and it's pretty darn good. I enjoy battling the harpies.

Holy crap, Philly. I have got to run that through simulation. That is so messed up, especially with only 1 of each card.

I'm open to suggestions. I also play World of Warcraft TCG. i have a deck built for each class except Death knight. I even have a demon rush deck, and it's beastly. i mean it WILL have the entire deck out on the field in a turn... after some resources are set.

look forward to seeing your deck recipe. please keep other TCG's/CCG's for other threads. This is completely devoted to Yu-Gi-Oh. Though I would like to see how someone can incorporate 3 different 3-tribute monsters in the same deck. If you said you used Raviel, I wouldn't be surprised. Thanks for mentioning your Synchro-Rush deck, because you reminded me of another deck that I've worked on. It's the Anti-Meta-Game Deck. My actual compilation of the deck is missing 1 copy of Skill Drain.

dear god, a blackwing deck is friggin uber. I've got a deck recipe for it that's sick, but I'll never build it because I've devoted myself to getting rid of them by sheer skill. If you want, though. I have a Shura and Elphin for sale.

lol My friend tried making a frog deck, but eventually gave up on it.

you need swamp lands for that deck. most frogs are lvl 3 and under, and swamplands gives all lvl2 and lower aqua types plus 1200 attack.

What deck do you all think is a FUN deck, as in ot designed to win every time, but instead to show off your pride cards, IE: All-holo deck, Alti-art, a traditional deck(banlist don't exist)
My favorite is an annoyance deck: Take the games MOST ANNOYING CARDS (Marshmallon, Arcana Force 0- the fool, Neo-spacian Grand mole, Scrap Iron Scarecrow, and those such annoying, VERY ANNOYING cards.) COmbine them with a Stall Stragety, and Frustrate them to no avail! it's hilarious to see them unable to do anything! throw in some things YOU find annoying, and start making enemies.

well, i have a Card Crush Deck. It's my cat deck. It's made of all cat and kitty cards like Cat's Ear Tribe, Catnip Kitty, Neko Mane King, A Cat of Ill Omen, Rescue Cat, Cat With a White Tail, and the like. The only oddball card in the deck would be Dice Jar. Funny enough, it's won a match before with one of the best decks I've ever seen constructed. It was major lols, winning 2 rounds straight with a Card Crush Deck.

the funny thing is: I didn't really pay attention lol, and I had a handful of commons, along with my rare binder. I have made SO many decks like that: I have a handful of common cards, a rare binder, and a time constraint of about 15 min. good times.

dude, i was the only one in Illinois who went to tournament (actually, just building one) with a Normal Monster Deck. I won 1st in state just with that.

Compulsory Evacuation Device is a VERY annoying card to me.

How do you stop solemn judgement? It is a counter trap so my Dark Bribe doesn't stop it.

With the card Counter Counter!

Dark Bribe is a counter-trap, too. You can activate Dark Bribe as a chain to Solemn Judgement. best part is that your opponent still loses half their LP. Here's how it goes:
Player Pays Half of their LP
Solemn Judgment activates
Chain 2: Activate Dark Bribe.
Solemn Judgment EFFECT negated.
Opponent draws 1 card.
Now, there are 3 different levels of spell speeds.
SS 1: cannot chain each other, unless specified by a monster effect.
SS 2: Basic traps, continuous traps and quick-play magic cards. and certain monster effects (ex. Horus of the Black Flame LVL 8). can chain each other and SS 1.
SS 3: Counter-Traps. Can only counter each other. No other effects may counter SS 3 except other SS 3.

oh boohoo. well, there is an online site that allows people to post their decks online and then duel each other. after I find that free site, I'll give everyone the site so we can all duel each other even if we are far away.

Has anyone heard of/used YVD (Yugioh Virtual Desktop)? It's a program I've used before to duel people online.
The only thing that sucks about it is that you can pretty much use any card you want regardless of rarity, so it's too easy to get a deck packed full of rare, useful cards that you wouldn't necessarily have in RL.

that is true. My sister was watching yugioh gx with me the other day and decided to get into dueling. she's 12 but she is coming along nicely. She wanted me to make her an ojama deck.

i now have YVD newest version, 9.1. I'm constructing my decks from home, so you guys can face me anytime you want, now.

I still have to re-download YVD to my computer again, and rebuild a deck for it. It would be fun if some of us could play each other though.

Yes. I did all that just as told on the ETC forums yu-gi-oh section by...well, the name doesn't matter.
