I might, but I doubt I will be staying at the hotel cause I can't afford $84/night +tax. I would have to pick two days to attend and drive back and forth from my home in barberton to the con in columbus. its about 90-120 min drive one way.

Just got off the phone with my mom. I can't go. :( My dad is expected to be released from the hospital around the first week in May. After he comes home he is going to have to have someone there to take care of him while my mom is at work. WHY ME!! I am truly sorry man. If any thing changes between now and the first of May I will let you know. Sadly my dad's health is still declining and the doctors are no where near close to an answer as to what is wrong with him or why his blood count is still falling. :'(

It's always possible. I know of at least 2 or 3 people on this forum who live within 1.5 hours distance of me. :P

I currently live in Lima which is in Allen county. I currently attend University of Northwestern Ohio. People should visit me now.

I'm from Ohio, born and raised unfortunately :P, and I'd love to meet with other furries. I'm just south of Dayton and I typically drive around to Cincinnati, Columbus, etc. for various things. The only chance I've gotten to be near other furries is at Ohayocon which is an Anime Convention at the end of every January in Columbus.

Are there any furs around the Toledo/Bowling Green/Perrysburg area?
I've been toying with the notion of investing in a fursuit, but I would feel much more comfortable making such a purchase if there was a group of fursuiters to join in the fun. Either way, it would be good to make some friends within the fandom whether it is going to cons together or simply hanging out from time to time.

I'm thinking about having a picnic party get together when the weather turns for the better...when summer hits I was thinking about having a party at whitewater park in Harrison Ohio. This forum is quite dead based on the fact that it warns me it hasn't been posted to for 21 days, but I figured since I'm new here and I live in the state, it would be alright to post to it.
Anywho, I live in Southernish Ohio, near Rocky Fork state park! Soonish, I will be moving to Cincinnati, because I'm going to be having a job that is based there, and the drive is just too long to make every day! I think I'll only be making a little over minimum wage, too, so I couldn't possibly afford the gas. Anywho, haiii!

Everytime I talk to someone from Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Columbus that has recently moved to California they usually talk about a desire to go back to Ohio. From what I hear, it's actually a pretty pleasant state. The downside though must be that the polar front from Michigan probably is pretty invasive during Winter.

I have no clue what they are talking about haha. I honestly do not like Ohio and woupd never come back to it if i left, and winter is one of the many reasons for that. Lake effect snow. *shudders*
