Title: White Wolf Guardian Art
Post by: White Wolf Guardian on December 03, 2009, 07:04:51 AM
I have a lot of art from my past years in school and I just made a new piece today so I wanted to show it for all to see. Please be gentle in commentary, I know I'm not that good. I usually draw geometrical artwork and I tried my hand at an animal today :). It took me about 5 hours long in Photoshop CS2 to create, considering I haven't used it in about 4 years in this manner, I think this drawing came out okay. I used a fox photo as a guide to draw it, because that's the only way I can draw real life objects unfortunately.

Here is my fox:

I'll post some more stuff later, this is all I have for now.

Looks pretty good. Have you ever considered drawing by using basic shapes? Circles, squares, rectangles ect... they help.

That's how I did it actually x.x, one huge circle for the head, two triangles for ears, then a couple eyes, and a nose, the rest was shading and super smudging.

Same thing works with pencil and paper. Just keep on doodling.

Oh man, I'm no good with that at all, it never comes out very good when I try that because I don't have the same abilities as I can in photoshop, I'll show some of my pencil work too later, really bad drawings though XD

Thanks guys ^_^ and yes I did use a mouse Horror I don't have a tablet or drawing pad unfortunately x.x

Anyways, as I said I would, I uploaded a some of my old artwork and here they are (My scanner didn't work so I had to take pictures):

(http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs51/f/2009/337/8/0/WWG_by_ryugana.jpg) (http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs51/f/2009/337/d/5/Styrix_by_ryugana.jpg) (http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs50/f/2009/337/4/9/Guardian_by_ryugana.jpg) (http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs44/f/2009/154/7/5/Tundra_Teh_Awesome_Foxeh_by_ryugana.jpg)
(From left to right) My original WWG Drawing,  A robot I made called Styrix, A dream I had of a white wolf, A shotgun wielding fox

                                                                                                          (http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs51/f/2009/337/1/c/Headdy_Persona_by_ryugana.jpg)
This was for a class project in 11th grade when we had to choose an animal to represent us, obviously we know what I chose to be XD

                                                                                                          (http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs50/f/2009/337/0/3/Die_by_ryugana.jpg)
I drew this Sonic-esque picture a looong time ago, its been in my leather binder for 6 years and I finally decided to back it up on a photo because the paper is wearing out x.x

                                                                                                          (http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs50/f/2009/337/5/6/Drewrey_Artistry_by_ryugana.jpg)
This is a poster of my 12th grade work in a compilation of photos on a background, didn't take long to make but all of the different pictures were separate projects, none of them were spectacular from that year, but they were decent.

I have two other MUCH better Photoshop made drawings that I cannot seem to find, but if I do I will upload them later, anyways I have another project I'm working on and I'll show that later when it's finished ;)

Actually I like the sketches, they show more style. Ever thought of combining the two? Like draw on paper scan or take a photo then doing them up in photoshop?
Title: Re: White Wolf Guardian Art
Post by: White Wolf Guardian on December 04, 2009, 03:12:42 PM
I have tried before, but there's so much work caused by the "invisible pencil errors" (ex. a smudge here, a smudge there x.x). Really messes up selection areas, but I guess if I have enough time I will try that again. All of those pictures I showed are the ones where I sketched either one thing or several things and I drew it all together, my doodles look terrible. I mean the fox with the shotgun took me about an hour to draw.

It's been a long time since I've posted some art, here's two of my old and probably my best drawings. Sorry about the glare on the "Xbox" drawing and a loss of quality in both *I don't have a working scanner unfortunately*. Also I just noticed both pictures are for some odd reason sideways as well, sorry about that x.x.

I made this yesterday, it's not really that great but it's more of a conceptual art. This is what white light looks like upon looking at it for me, I sketched it while looking at some light. I think it turned out decent, of course I could have drawn the many more thousands of white lines in there and drawn a background, but I was just trying to draw the look of it. Does light look like that to you as well :P?

As per a more in depth view the lines actually curve along the bottom and top of the vision and they are a lot of thin ones.
Title: Re: White Wolf Guardian Art
Post by: Asia Kali Yusufzai on February 07, 2010, 01:06:38 AM
I almost never see much white light, but what I do see doesnt tend to have that many lines. Most of the time it's around 6-9 lines.

Either way, It's a great idea for just a quick sketch. It gets your head onto th spiky bits

Alright new updates! Since I have a couple of 3D Modeling classes, I thought I would post my craaa---err masterpieces!

Box Thingies, I know it doesn't look like much but I spent the most time on these because I didn't know what I was doing at the time x_x *Done with Bryce 6.1*:

http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii312/kingdomkz/DrewreyK03.png

One of my first renders, this one was done in Maya 2008:
http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii312/kingdomkz/DrewreyK01.jpg

I think this was perhaps my favorite one, I just had so much fun messing around with this random robot and alien UFO stilted objects with tetris blocks on the floor for no particular reason :P

A couple of terrains from the same camera view on Bryce 6.1 here:

This must be getting old fast, another update folks, I tried to see what would happen if I messed around with specific points rather than making a landscape, I came up with something rather morbid but I liked it so I did a simple circle around animation. Enjoy!

Death: http://s267.photobucket.com/albums/ii312/kingdomkz/?action=view&current=Death.mp4

Also here's a less exciting project I had to do for class, but I forgot to put it up, you may enjoy the ending though :P

Ball Trap: http://s267.photobucket.com/albums/ii312/kingdomkz/?action=view&current=balltrap.mp4

My robot design for Bryce, this one could be a bit of a wool puller for some, all of the models except the minigun and missile launcher were actually Maya models that were imported into Bryce:

First scene complete, render time 1 Day, 3 minutes, ~3.4 Million Polygons. I resized the video to put on photobucket otherwise it would have been too large at 500mb+ and it literally caused my computer to lag to play the last half of it. Though now it should be fine, it's just over 3mb now and I had no problems. More parts of this video will be added, next up the army base will be textured and animated.

Here's a better preview, since I feel that the last animation was pretty much a rehash of a video I already released, so here's another clip with the first one from a different point in the animation. Before watching do note that this contains some adult language and violence.

http://s267.photobucket.com/albums/ii312/kingdomkz/?action=view&current=ComingSoon.mp4

I estimate that this whole animation could be done inbetween anywhere from 2 weeks to a month because of render times being rather lengthy, ironically it takes longer to render the animation rather than creating the setup for the animation.

Looking good. Though it will be better once you add the things that are actually being shot out of the weapons.

The following comic work I am doing for another upcoming animation for my Maya class, the following portrayals and opinions of certain characters do not reflect the views of myself and should not be taken seriously, viewer discretion is advised.

Ah I figured I should have explained the background story better, well the scoop on this comic is that I have had my friend's sister stalking my cellphone for a very long time, she has sent me at least 200 text messages in two years and here's the irritating part and creepy, I have never responded back at all in those two years and she still text messages me today XD

The phone desktop magics? All you have to do is have an android phone or probably an iphone as well and for the android phone it needs to be rooted and have the app "shoot me". I think there is a way for non-rooted android phones too, but I think that costs money x.x

Episode 5: The Lollipop

http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii312/kingdomkz/WolgonComicEpisode5.jpg?t=1294377152

And yes Sain, rooting an android phone is like installing custom firmware on a PSP, except for a phone it usually has more for the purpose of overclocking the cpu, wireless tethering, or little features inaccessible otherwise, in this case the screen capture option rawr.

Title: Re: White Wolf Guardian Art
Post by: White Wolf Guardian on January 11, 2011, 09:56:31 PM
Because on FA you cannot do a direct link and you have to link to the page where it is displayed in the website, I prefer just making it easier for people to see directly through photobucket, besides I as well put them up for people to see on my FA account if someone wants to see my episodes there :P

Update: The Woodward Plushie

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5076891/?nocache=1294785917

This time I decided to give the Furaffinity link because photobucket reduces the quality of the image and there's some things you might miss if you view that version.

Thank you, lol I was thinking the same thing when I made it "vacuum" effect, but when I thought about it further, if I had focused on the flip top on the deck holder it could have looked like it was pushing them in so it would look more like "nomming"

Oh, stop motion animation... The king of all animation types  ^_^

Great job white, you managed to keep any jerkyness from the moving of the camera minimal, and you also must have used quite a number of shots because it was pretty smooth in the movement. Nice work  :P

Thanks Villain! Though I think I've just been less lazy lately lol.

Now I know some of you have probably not ever seen any of my previous butterfly knife tricks videos, but since I long since removed my old vids it doesn't matter. This is basically a 100% updated video with all the maneuvers I can do with my Spyderco Smallfly. (This wolgon's favorite butterfly knife :P) I present to you once again in much better video quality and close up so you can actually see what I'm doing this time, my tricks compilation!

Haha, no at least not anymore. I used to cut myself a lot when I started out because the Spyderco Spyderfly is a very sharp knife and mistakes are to be expected for a new user.

Well I did a lot of messing around with a program called Toon Boom Animate Pro 2 over the past few days or so and I have to say it is a LOT of fun once you know how to use it and I find it by far easier than Adobe Flash Professional for those interested in trying some animation. Anyways this isn't really something I put a lot of work into, it was mostly me trying to establish a proper bone-structure and trying to figure out how to get a character to move appropriately without great difficulty over an expanse of frames.

So I present to you, a walk-cycle with a sprite version of my character in anthropomorphic form in flash format. Contributed by Vosur and torenzabbic on FA :P
