Check it out at 1:52, only a few seconds but it's us! And quite recent.
Now to demand royalties! <.<

-
YAAY, im gonna be a star
-
We own. Simple as that. B)
-
We are awesome... I've never been part of a famous forum before. I've always found them too big and scary :P
-
xD WHAT is with 1:20?
But apart from that, the video got it mostly right =D
-
WOOT! That's an actual show on cable tv
-
*does a dance* yeah we are famous now!!
-
Great, now I have to fend off paparazzi.
-
Heh just remember it was me who gave you the link to that video in the first place :P
-
I'm surprised beastiality wasn't mentioned in the show at all, which is definitely a good thing. Nice to see the fandom is represented in a decent light for once. Its also good they didn't use FurAffinity as a ref for their research.
-
Woo-Hoo!
xD
Thats pretty awesome.
-
Wow, I was expecting something a lot worse than that, actually. It was presented in a decent light, and I'm not exactly used to it. That's refreshing and pretty cool. Though, I do think that it's funny that we were mentioned over big sites like FA.
-

its because we're so small and cute rigor ^_^

You know that's the second time I've been on TV *indirectly* this month because of what I do on the internet? >.>
I think they're stalking me.

Which was the first time? :o
One of my YouTube videos was on the Chicago news a couple weeks ago. I didn't even know until someone else told me about it.
But yeah. It's neat that the forums got on TV. :P
-
*does the happy dance* Yay! I smile!
-
Really!? Cool. :)
Even if all I do around here nowadays is lurk... XD
-
I've been on TV twice before. Once for a news item on mental disability, and once for a TB outbreak in the school ...
So yeah, this is a step up, even if it's only the front of the site for a split second. I'll take what I can get :P
-
FYI:
I emailed the show to express our thanks for such an unbiased viewpoint as shown below:
Hi,
I just wanted to send a quick email in regards to your showing of Attack of the Show on the 22nd October regarding the Furry Fetish.
As the lead administrator at the Furry Forums (http://www.thefurryforum.com) as featured briefly at the 1:52 mark on the video at http://g4tv.com/attackoftheshow/wtf/68824/The-Furry-Fetish.html it's nice to see an unbiased view of the fandom.
I just want to express my gratitude for the show, it is much appreciated.
They replied today with the following:
Glad you liked it (and that they made a fair showing of what is often a misrepresented fetish).
Feel free to link to/ embed the video on your site.

LOL I paused my music for that too XD

I've been on TV twice before. Once for a news item on mental disability, and once for a TB outbreak in the school ...
ive been on the tv once... there was a glimpse of me with my mates in our town centre... thats about it :P
oh, and i did get interviewed for the radio... but i ended up getting really shy and didnt say anything :$
-
I've been on TV three times and can also be found on youtubes.
-
i was in the news paper in rhode island and amarillo twice for my cooking classes
-
That's epic.
-
It is really nice for furries to be presented in a good way for once... I know a lot of people who watch G4. It's nice that people won't always associate furries with having a sexual fetish or anything.
-
Haha Cool :) My first thought when i saw the Subject title was ''Oh no.......''
And then i saw how they didn't portray furries bad. And i was like ''Wow, what an amazing show''
mainly because people who made it where so open minded. Heh, Guess the people of this planet are starting to open their minds a little. finally,
-
I wouldn't post something which portrayed us badly, I don't trust it wouldn't result in a flame war.
-
good call

Another article, interesting portrayal, seems to be mostly neutral but from the UK media this time. Although not about these forums in particular, I want to keep it all in a single thread.
-
gotta hand it to them, that was a good article. Well researched and intelligent.

This article is great, it's pretty much spot on!
