(since the old blood ties, well died off, and me liking the plot i made for it, I decided to revisit it, same premise, but new characters for everyone, new structures for the factions, and all in all hopefully more fun)
The year is 2050. Humanity is at it's peak, limitations of the past are cast aside as Humanity reaches new heights in the age of technology. The Golden Age has arrived. However all Golden Ages end in tragedy. At 1400 hours a Russian spy satellite detects an American nuclear test launch. Fearing that the Cold War will happen again, the Russians prepare their nuclear warheads as if to "put down a possible nuclear crisis". The Americans however prepare their large assortment of nuclear warheads in response. Iran and North Korea's governments panic and they prepare their nuclear warheads. Armageddon nearing it is now 1500 hours. The world leaders meet up in Britain and last minute cancel all the launches. However when radio contact to the missile silos was attempted, no one responded, the crews killed and the mysterious killers launch the warheads at precisely 7:00 A.M.
The Earth is smothered with Nuclear fire, and Humanity's light is almost extinguished. 2/3's of the population are gone. The survivors are mutated into the likeliness of animals, and are known as the Furs. Some of these mutants lost their minds and went Feral, attacking any creature on sight to feed their ravenous hunger for flesh. Those not mutated, the "Pure Bloods" as they were to be known as, made a mass exodus to the east, in search of something called the 'Bloodline'. Some of the 'Pure Bloods' remained with their furry brethren, and they became known as the 'Outcasts'. Life continued on, Humanity slowly rebuilding. Settlements are established, and the surviving populace lives on, passing on the 'Fur' gene on to their children.
The Year is now 2100. The 'Pure Bloods' return with the Bloodline. A strict militaristic regime, the Bloodline quickly sweeps out of the Eastern U.S.A. and carves a swathe of destruction throughout the local settlements. Furs are taken to experimentation camps, to work on a cure for the gene that causes them to be a fur. These experiments usually result in the subject's death. The camps are built like a prison, the guards cruel and merciless. Some furs have turned on their brethren to escape being experimented on, these are now known as the "Turncoats".
The Bloodline believes those with the 'Fur' gene will one day go feral, and Humanity will consume itself because of this. The Bloodline's soldier's gas masks now becoming a symbol of death, enslavement, torture. The year is 2101, the peak of the Bloodline's power, a new discovery in the 'Fur' gene. After years to develop with the toxic radioactivity still in the area, the gene allows the mutated extraordinary powers, which at first are minimal at best. Over time if the mutated lives long enough, these powers are a sight to behold, and a terror to all but the Bloodline soldiers, who are fearless till the end.

Kor, all alone and knowing full well of his possible fate if captured, began to approach the Bloodline prison camp. After dodging a few spot-lights and sentires, he was sitting behind a rock, throwing glances behind the rock to figure out where he could get in without being discovered...
-
"Why me..... WHY! I do everything I can to please her..... and she tells me no man, to add onto that she put a restraining order on me" Charles said, halfway into tearing walking near the wall of the prison camp near a rock.
"She wasn't good enough for you anyway Sir, I mean she rejected you and you were the most honest out of the people who tried to win her over that I know" said Pvt. Hicks
Charles and the soldiers enjoyed a Command structure where they were more his friends then being under him.
"You know what you need Charles, you need to dance your troubles away, no more killing those Animals, no more thinking about Sarah, just pure Dance." Hicks said while taking out a boombox he found in a dumpster.
"You know what, your right Hicks, HIT IT!" Charles yelled getting into ready position.
Hicks pushed a button and 'IM A SCATMAN' started playing, almost immediately Charles was saying the words with near perfect precision, then began dancing like there was no tomorrow.
"Everybody starts one way or the other, so check out to my message to you as a matter of fact, let nothin hold ya back If a Scatman can do it so can you Everybody says the Scatman stutters but never stutters when he sings......" he sang to himself while leaving his sorrows behind him.
-
Kor cursed under his breath at the sudden arrival of two Bloodline troops. He could either take the risk of waiting it out, or make a mad dash for the next hiding spot. This is not what my father trained me for, but I gotta make the best of what he left behind Kor thought before trying to sneak away from the two Bloodline soldiers. He had to get his mother out of there, she was the only family he had left...

Spike let out a sigh as he leaned against the fence of the prison camp. He'd lost count of the days since his capture and he was getting tired of the same routine of the camp's daily schedule. He had to get out. He'd had several plans for escape, every single one failing. He scanned the dark plains with his good eye, wondering if they'd set up mines or made that much space to allow one to run only to be sniped from one of the towers. Escape for Spike seemed hopeless at that point. He'd forgotten what the outside world had been like, having been imprisoned here for so long. An order from one of the guards in the tower made Spike step away from the fence. He took a step back as told, and caught the sight of a figure moving amongst the shadows in the free zone outside the camp, he rubbed his eye and looked again. Nothing. He shook his head. "I must be seein' things again." He said, turning away and walking back to the bunk house.
-
After dancing away his sorrows with his buddy Hicks, Charles was rejuvenated once again, walking towards the fence, Charles saw Spike.
"Well well well, ain't my favorite furr'd friend Spike, how ya doin' in there? Heard the rumor you got another chemical bath, it's true ain't it?" Charles said leaning on his rifle while Hicks stood at attention on the opposite side of the fence from Spike.
-
Spike stopped and slowly turned around to look at Charles. He slowly approached the fence once more to leaned against the wire, gripping it with his claws, and looking at Charles with his good eye. "What's it to ya?"
-
With each step his heartbeat followed in time, his ragged breath the sole focus of his mind as he ran, swatting aside grasping vines and brambles...
"OVER THERE!"
Tracer rounds zipped past five metres to the left, small whups sounded as they slit through foliage and undergrowth... ducking instinctively he kept running, his breaths slowing, vision sliding in and out of focus... he stopped leaning, gasping, against a thick trunked tree.... They where getting closer, shouts from behind re-breathers muffled, boots crashing through undergrowth... two swords of stark white light cut through the bushes, flashlights illuminating the light grey dust that had settled after the nuclear explosions....
His eyes rolled back as his vision blurred, breath slowing to a ragged pace.... The darkness of the tree trunk enveolpped him into shadows, unnatural darkness crept over him, the squad of Bloodline soldiers crashed on, oblivious to the fact that the fur they where chasing was right beside them... once the sound of the squad crashing along had dissipitated Kitt reapeared into the semi-light of the forest... Dark matted fur, even darker stripes... clothing torn and equally dark, he collapsed backwards against the tree trunk, gasping for breath as his eyes closed, his whole body starved of oxygen...
-
Spike stopped and slowly turned around to look at Charles. He slowly approached the fence once more to leaned against the wire, gripping it with his claws, and looking at Charles with his good eye. "What's it to ya?"
"Well i just wanted to know if you deserved it, you being a Fur after all, we're trying to cure you, and i'm just keeping track of that progress, can't blame me for being worried for that human buried under that fur can you?" Charles teased, leaning on his gun looking at the sky
-
Spike smirked. "No I didn't deserve it. I'm still a man, Charles... Just...like...you." He said pointing a claw at Charles. "I'm gonna get out of here Charles...and I'll be seein' you later. No fence, no barbed wire, no towers."
-

"We'll see Spike, We'll see, but for now since we're in the present an' not in the future, I dont need to worry, now get to your block 'fore another guard comes to pop a cap in you" Charles said, his disgust growing but not showing.
"Hey Spike, we know your a man in there, it's just that an animal has taken your body from you, we're just takin it back for you" chimed Hicks.
-
"on the road again, never gonna see wher *chhhzzrhhhrzzz* cos we are on the road again, never see it coming on the *czzxh* road again"
The battered minidisk player was Kitts prized possesion, the crackly music, interspersed with brief outbursts of static from the fallout rang through the beaten up headphones.... Looking left and right quickly he jumped down from the large rock he had stopped on before quickly and quietly making his way through the wastelands...
"oh yes, on the road again *sschzzz* yes oh, yes on the road again"
The weak music set against the wastlands of nuclear fallout...
-

"You better hope a guard comes up and pops a cap in me before I see you again, buddy." Spike looked at Hicks, having nothing left to say to either of them, he relieved the fence from the grip of his claws and took a step back, turning away to walk back to his block house.

"And you better hope i dont report you for bad behavior and make your life all the more miserable, till next time.... buddy"
-
"[censored] guards." Spike spat. There wasn't much that could make Spike's life any more miserable than it already was. He swung the door open to the overcroweded block house, walking past sick furs and crying children. He sat down on his bunk, the itchy bed spread having no effect since Spike's fur had grown in. He pulled the long black knife from the inside of his boot and pricked his right index finger. As drops of blood began to surface from the wound, Spike pulled out a small journal from the inside of his extremely thin pillow. He flipped open the pages, all of which were written in blood on the point of his nail. He passed outdated escape plans and went straight to his list of people (and furs) of whom he planned to pay a visit to in the furture (if they were still alive by then), and waited until the drop of blood slid down to his nail, before he began to write in the yellow faded pages.
-
One by one, the prisoners in Spike's block were screaming for food, something to eat, just anything, when the door slammed open.
"All right, get to the mess hall ON THE DOUBLE MOVE MOVE IT MOVE IT!" yelled Charles, who was now posted on escorting the prisoner line with Hicks, and a new squad mate, Jonas.
"Ya heard the Cpl. MOVE IT PEOPLE!" Jonas yelled and to emphasize his point he fired a 3 round burst into the sky. As one the prisoners liquidated from prison block # 003 and scrambled to the mess hall, eating greedily at what they were served. After clearing the block (or believing they did), the trio moved on to the next block and summoned them for dinner time"
(just as a note, everything the Blood Line soldiers say that is anti fur, it does not reflect my actual thinking of furs, I dont hate you guys, Charles does)
-
Spike heard the familiar voice and rolled his eyes. "[censored] guards." He closed his small book and stuffed it in his pocket, standing up from his bed, he proceed to follow the others out the door.
-
"on the road again, never gonna see how the *ARGH* czzxhzx"
Kitt was grabbed from behind by a rough pair of hands
"GOTTIM! sneaky lil' fur.... we been chasin his ass fer ages now!"
Kitt struggled for a second before a hypodermic syringe was shoved roughly into his neck, his vision blurred and his limbs felt as if they where no longer attached to his body before he was slung over the shoulder of a bloodline trooper, his re-breather rattling before Kitt passed out....

Kor was on top of one of the prison camp buildings, scanning around for a guarded room. He interrogated patrols leaving this camp, and found out his mother wasn't with the other Furs, but held in isolation due to her advanced control over her element: Fire. He spotted two guards with Hazmat suits, standing in front of a steel door with weapons drawn. "Lets see whats behind door number one...." Kor said inwardly while approaching the doors.
-
Xavier walked around the New Haven looking for some peace and quiet in the busy city. Having not found a new target he was really bored of the wait
-
Xleena found herself awake in a pool of her own vomit. Eyes blurred from fatigue and tears, she stood, requiring the support of a kicked over chair. Despite this unpleasantness; this was a constant situation for her nowadays. Rinsing her matted black fur of disgusting mess from a near by pail of water (that had been used to mop the floor previously), she took homage in a corner, and looked about the rest of the dank, familiar room.
There were various old computers and machines, dating from about 30 years ago she assumed. After all, she was in one of the abandoned research rooms not far off from the new inhabited ones. She was a ''special case'' experiment they had said to her, injecting all sorts of chemicals that burned her insides and made her lose her voice and turned her golden fur into a jet black hostility.
Squeezing her eyes shut, she preferred to focus on the cold hard floor under her, than to be immersed in those pitch black memories again. Before she had been able to fully take her mind from them, the door shot open, presenting a man equipped with a smirk that soon dropped at the sight of the puddle of sick.
'[censored] YOU! NOT AGAIN!!' Marching over and snatching up her rags, he began to beat her again and again. She did nothing to resist. This was business as usual, she just waited for it and the pain to end, she shut off, trying to think of her mother and her father and her little brother...something happy, light--nothing like this.

"welcome to your new home..."
Kitt weakly opened his eyes, the afteraffects of the nockout serum making him drowsy and dilirious...
"ha! ya stupid fur!"
The two guards hurled him through a doorway where he was slammed into a chain link fence, the steel mesh rattling as his paws and body where pressed into it...
"happy living!"
Sliding down to the bottom of the fence, Kitt stared blearily around the Bloodline testing and slave facility.. the place he had ran from, for so long....

The rabbit walks down the barren road, whistling tunefully to himself despite his aching belly. His supplies had run out 2 days ago and the lapine was running on fumes. Though he had seen hollowed out shells of buildings on his journey (sadly without any form of supplies), he remained blissfully unaware of the situation his fellow furs were in. Down the road, past a huge expanse of wasteland, he swore he saw a structure; high walls, fences and lights. 'Signs of inhabitance' the rabbit's ears perk up, 'maybe there'll be other furs there!'
His stride lengthens as he makes his way towards the compound, his empty stomach urging him on. He stares at his paw for whatever amusement he can find, changing the fur colour from it's natural white to obsidian black. From there the colours become more strange, neon orange and green, even experimenting with polka dots. The rabbit giggles lightly, his mind off his supply troubles for just the moment.

The Blood Line snipers, ever with the curiosity that makes their job enjoyable, double checked that a Fur was jogging towards the prison camp happily, with no signs of a collar. "Sirs we have a fur... skipping and whistling towards us, should we just let him in?" one of them asked
"Yes... make our new guest comfortable, and meet him at the gates, we could use him for something besides experimentation."
"Aye sirs."
Climbing down a ladder to the tower he was in, Sgt. Mac opened the gate and waved to the very happy rabbit. "Hey you out there, over here!"
-
The rabbit perks his ears up at the faint voices in the distance, 'Finally! Someone to talks to!' the lapine's thoughts are exaltant as he breaks into a brisk jog across the area of wasteland, towards to compound. As he approached, the gates began to open. He casts his inquisitive gaze around, not being able to see inside the compound itself due to the high walls, but the man waving him in seemed nice enough. He sticks his, still vivid red, paw in his pocket, changing the colour back to it's natural white. He waves with the other paw and strolls through the gates.
-
"Ahh Welcome to our compound here. I'm Sgt. Mac, and allow me to say your one of the few lucky Furs i've seen around here, but im going ahead of myself, what's your name" Said the Sgt. doing his best to hide his hatred, which he happened to be good at.
-
Kor couldn't find any other entry besides the front door. "Great...there goes the element of surprise..." he said to himself as he jumped down between the two guards, knifing one in the neck and the other in the chest before turning to the door. He stepped back and stomped the ground, causing an earthen spike to shoot out and impale the keypad keeping the door closed, he then quickly retracted the spike to prevent excessive detection.
It short-circuited and the door opened to reveal a fur being beaten by a guard, a pool of vomit around them both. "I usually got more chores for making a mess, but I guess punishments vary from fur to human..." Kor said loud enough for the guard to turn around. "H-How did you..." Kor pivoted his foot towards the guard, and three spikes ran up the ground and through the human. Kor then walked over to the girl and lifted her up, propping her on his right shoulder "Sorry for what happened, have you seen a scaled woman being led anywhere... shes my mother"
-
"Yeh, umm.." the rabbit looks around, taking the compound in, "..I'm Jay." The lapine looks around, rubbing the back of his head nervously. "Well, as long as we're doing the whole 'introducing ourselves' thing, there are to Furs you should probably meet; Caleb and Sasha..."
-
One Cpl. Collins was muttering to himself how he hated patrol duty, when his job was suddenly livened up, two guards dying and a destroyed keypad, running up to the alarm switch near the door he punched it and the alarms started to blare. The two injured guards have been rushed to the medbay, where the one stabbed in the chest is in critical condition, while the other one died on the spot.
"We have an intruder near our 'Special Experiment' wing, all troops get there now!"
"Hicks, Jonas watch over these prisoners, I got an intruder to kill" Charles ordered. The two soldiers saluted and as he left the mess hall, they triggered the lock-down code, and the blast doors shut, trapping the furs inside, but giving them a wide range of fire with a raised balcony. "You ready for this Hicks... I mean you havn't fired that gun very often" Jonas said, genuinely concerned for his squad mate. "Don't worry Jonas, I'll be fine" Hicks responded, his former enthusiasm replaced with a grim seriousness.
Running as fast as he could, Charles joined a group of guards already at the door to the facility, since the keypad was mangled, they decided to blase the door open with a shotgun. Cpl. Collins fired two shots then kicked the doors down. Taking point Charles roadie ran inside and motioned for the others to follow suit. Overlapping their lines of fire, they advanced inside cautiously.
(before the alarm happens)
"Pleased to meet you Jay, and Caleb and Sasha, we didn't see anyone else with you, are they family?" Sgt. Mac asked curiously at the mention of others.
He never got that answer as the alarms rang.
"Jay, come with me, we seem to have another break in!" Mac said while herding Jay to the nearest building, which happened to be his sniper tower.
-
Jay follows Mac, the blaring klaxons confusing him, 'Did he say "break in"? Why would anyone need to break in? They just let me walk through the front door...' At a moments pause, the lapine answers, "They're not family, but we're pretty close. And... well, they're actually right around here somewhere - but don't worry," the rabbit realises the implications of what he just said, "they had nothing to do with the break in, I can guarantee it."
-
"The reason for the breakins are some of the other furs, you see all of you were afflicted with a terrible disease, where the diseased either goes insane, or ends up like you, not insane and murderous, it must be a small bunch of 'em" Mac replied, while scanning the area with his rifle
"This camp was made so we could try to find a cure for this disease, and stop it from spreading."
-
The rabbit scratches the back of his head, "Well, I don't feel diseased... in fact, I feel great" Jay looks somewhat worried by the gun, he was scared that the break-in might turn violent. He gazes around seeing that noone was nearby, "Well, as long as we're alone, would you like to meet Caleb and Sasha? I can get them here pretty quick." He giggles slightly at the last part.

"Let's wait till this alert has passed, there's no telling who may come... you dont feel diseased because you have a powerful immune system I guess, I wouldnt know the very scientific medical reason!" Sgt. Mac replied

Jay shrugs with a smile, tuning out the alarms he goes and sits in a corner, pulling out one of the antique Colt .45's and playing with the slide.

Blood....I am covered in it from the turncoat I had killed and ravenously ate. I never thought in my life I could eat a human but the bloodlust was on me and the fact that I had not eaten in day. I had also been shot in the arm by a guard that had walked in on me eating his falling comrade. Now the alarms were at full blast and I was running wounded. I had to escape somehow and as I ran down the halls I sensed 2 figures nearby that did not have the scent of the turncoats about them...
-
Is that a alarm i hear? maybe there is finally someone worth the bullet! Xavier thought in much joy, just thinking about the next target got him all excited. He then reached for his radio "Hey! What's this alarm all about?!"
by instinct he readied his pistol and looked for possibly good sniping places.
-
Bloodline Overwatch: "Reports of an intruder in the compound, I repeat intruder in the compound" The operator said back over the radio to the sniper.
-
Spike was poking at the mush on his plate when the alarm sounded. He looked up towards the guards. Jonas and Hicks were standing at ready while Charles ran off to deal with the matter at hand. Spike casually stood up and turned to face Hicks. He began walked over to him.
-
"Hey Sit back down or i'll shoot!" Hicks yelled as he noticed Spike advancing.
-
Spike stopped in his tracks and put up his hands. "Hey, all I wanted to do was ask what was going on. Don't be so jumpy, Hicks."
-
Kitt was thrown into the mess hall nearby to Spike, a brand new collar equipped with a tracker, ability dampener and shock core strapped securelu round his neck..
"you get comfortably with your fluffly lil' freinds now ya freak.."
The guard patted Kitt on the cheek and laughed as the young feline raised a lip to show his long incisor
"you dont be goin eating me now... or ahm gonna hav ta shock ya"
the door slammed behind the guard, leaving Kitt dazed and confused against the wall of the mess hall...
-
Bloodline Overwatch: "Reports of an intruder in the compound, I repeat intruder in the compound" The operator said back over the radio to the sniper.
"Roger that! I'll be on the next helicopter there" He replied and went to a heliport where he boarded a helicopter that later arrived on the prison camp. "Did i miss all the fun?" he asked one of the soldiers on the landing zone.
-
"Naw we're still searchin for 'im, your right on time"
(inside the facility)
"Attention law breaker, this is Blood Line Overwatch demanding your surrender, do this, and you will be spared, offer up resistance, and your life is forfeit, choose the smart choice, and turn yourself in, hands in the air."
(in the mess hall)
"You do not call me that prisoner, here you call me sir and sir only, DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!?" Hicks yelled, gun still trained on spike.
-
(inside the mess hall)
Kitt winced as the guard shouted at another fur... standing upright he took a few timid steps towards one of the long trestle tables and benches behind the fur who was being shouted at, running a paw along the new collar...
-
(ok time to wait for Xleena!)
-
Spike grinned. "Oh Sir, I really am sorry, Sir, it won't happen again, Sir, I promise you that for sure, Sir. How's that for Sir, Sir?" He said, almost laughing.
-
Hicks, getting tired of this crap, fired a shot near Spike's eat, shearing a bit of the fur off "NEXT TIME I'LL BE MORE ACCURATE, NOW TAKE YOUR SEAT AND DO AS YOUR TOLD" he yelled, now getting really annoyed at this prisoners 'I can do whatever I want' attitude
-
Spike immediately lost hearing in his left ear. The ringing was screeching in the back of his head. He looked back at Hicks, seeing his lips moving but couldn't hear anything he was yelling. Spike's eyes bulged. "WHAT!!!?" He yelled back a little shocked his was temporarily def.

"I SAID SIT DOWN! AND NEXT TIME I'LL BE MORE ACCURATE!" Hicks repeated (the troops wear masks, you cant see their lips move)
-
(oops may bad)
Spike still couldn't hear anything. "You tool! You shot my ear!!!" He shouted, unable to hear himself talk. He looked around at the ceiling and floor, delusionally. He moaned and tugged on his ears. He collapsed to his knees, the floor beginning to smoke beneath him. Where the floor smoked, it immediately caught fire. Spike was on his knees in the middle of the flames, still gripping his head as the ringing continued.
-
Kitt jumped at the shouts from the officer and sat down hurriedly on an empty bench... trying to look anywhere but at the fur on the ground and the guard...
-
Before Xleena could touch the new arrival to 'speak', the alarm sounded, making her lose the little concentration she had (after all, she had just received a beating). Looking up at the Dragon she weakly stumbled to a standpoint, leading him out of there and staggering down the corridor, paw on wrist. Sharply turning to a wall, she kicked the tile as hard as she could, revealing a small hole in which her new found savior could fit.
Lightly touching his head (the alarms weren't so loud here she passed on W-wait here... t-t-this is... safe, do not move for a few h-hou-hours... then you can save whom you like without suspicion and hound-hounding...
-
Kor was at first happy that he could avoid possible detection, but the instant he realized what that would leave the girl with he began to think it over...
His ears perked up and he grabbed the fur, going into the hiding spot, and using just enough earth control to deepen the hole and move the tile back. "For future reference, I can control the earth around me..." he whispered to the fur before going silent once again.
-
Xleena hadn't even thought about her own predicament... she had just simply forgotten she was important. Luckily for Xleena she could reply silently. Touching his arm she replied Wow! Thats so impressive! I-i can o-only do this, I can't even ta-ta-talk... not e-even properly in my head...! Pl-please don't r-ri-risk yourself saving me. She finished defianly, but something inside her wanted to be alive and escape this hell hole, which surprised her as she thought she'd given up on herself.
-
Kor tried to broadcast a though hoping she could read it instead of him saying something. I'm already risking myself trying to get to my mother...and you don't seem that heavy... not that its your fault

He collapsed to his knees, the floor beginning to smoke beneath him. Where the floor smoked, it immediately caught fire. Spike was on his knees in the middle of the flames, still gripping his head as the ringing continued.
"What the? GET HIM TO STOP NOW BEFORE HE KILLS US ALL!" Jonas yelled, springing into action Hicks leapt down and proceeded to beat Spike, slamming into other prisoner's tables "STOP WITH THIS FIRE OR YOU'LL KILL US ALL!" he yelled, angrier now, smashing the glass he took the fire extinguisher and sprayed down Spike with it.
-
Despite Hick's attempts to extinguish the flames, they burned brighter than ever. Spike's eyes began to glow red, his fur becoming engulfed in flames. Spike's state of mind was something he'd never felt before; a feeling of rage beyond his control. He was scared and unsure of what was happening to him. Although he was his own firestorm within the mess hall, nothing else around him seemed to catch fire. He focused on the fire extinguisher Hicks was using to try to put out the fire with. He could feel the pressure inside the steel canister build up as it began to heat up in Hicks' hands, it content's boiling to the point where it made a light whistling sound from within. As the pressure built up inside, the steel canister was becoming a time bomb.
-
From the tower, Jay can see some smoke rising from a building in the distance; he tilted his head curiously, looking over at Mac. "Umm... hey, Mac, I think that building over there might be on fire" A nervous edge creeps into his voice, the rabbit holsters the sidearm, standing up. "There might be people inside, they might need help!"
-
Xavier noticed some smoke coming from a building, then he pointed at that direction and said very childishly "That-a-way!"
He approached the building with his pistol in his right paw and the knife in other
-
"This is your last warning, come out with whatever ya' got raised, all weapons on the ground!" Charles yelled again, then maneuvered his way inside with the squad, looking around he saw the deceased guard, and an earthen spike impaled within the poor guy "Alright we have an Earth manipulator, fan out and search, two man teams!" Charles ordered and the squad obeyed, scouring the facility, with Charles and Collins near the hole Kor is in.

Kor felt realized they were directly on top of him when he felt the earth around him gain weight. Just a few more minutes he thought as he took deep but relativly quiet breaths to let the feedback drain away while still keeping the fur close....
-
In the panic caused by the fox-fur and his fire Kitt leapt into action... escape.... jumping over the trestle table he concentrated on the shadows and darkness around him, he wanted to be safe, to hide... be invisible... however he couldnt keep it, instead he flickered in and out of easy visibilty.... the dampener on the collar! suddenly a sharp jolt of electricity was administered from the collar as he was tackled to the ground by an officer wearing full mask and suit...
"DONT MOVE!" A large callibre pistol was pointed to his face as he squirmed and wriggled under the dead weight of the officer... "ANY ATTEMPT AT YOUR ABILITY OR RUNNING AND I SWEAR I WILL SHOOT YOU!" kitt stopped wriggling, panting he lay and watched as the other officers tried to subdue to the fox...
-
Xleena nodded, reading his thoughts due to the fact she was still in physical contact with him. Taking her paw off she began to feel glad she had made this little hiding spot.
Originally, she had made it to get some safety and peace and quiet when the guards were being particularly cruel to her. They had always assumed she had been taken away for more so called experiments. She also remembered the things they'd say about her when they thought she wasn't there-- harsh, dark things. This made her close her eyes tightly, trying not to think about it.
Looking at Kor she rationed her breaths so they would not be discovered.
-
Tense seconds turn into minutes, as Charles and Collins survey the surrounding area, overlapping each other's fields of fire, until satisfied, they slowly moved on, due to Charles's urge to check around some more.
-
Spike's flame had still not died down. A man burning as bright as the sun struggled to get to his knees. He despised the one trying to put him out, Hicks, still holding the time bomb in his hands. Spike wrenched the fire extinguisher out of Hicks' hands in a fit of rage, whipping it across the room. The impact of the container under immense pressure caused a ground shaking explosion. Chunks of debris flew across the room as a hole was left gaping in the wall to the outside. Spike barely had the mental concentration to realize what he'd just done he saw the hole and hesitated, unsure of escape. On all fours, the flaming beast took off through the hole in the wall, an action Spike had no control over.
-
Jay sees the side of the building explode and he jumps back in shock, even though it was a distance awy he could see the bright flames dancing around a lone fox. He was sure Mac had heard it too, he checked to see if his guns were loaded and cocked the slides, 'This must be the break-in he was talking about, no wonder the alarms were freaking out so much'
-
Kor felt the pressure above him go away, but not completely. climb on my back, and don't let go until I say to... understood? he thought as he put his hands on the tile above him. This was cutting it close, even more than when he tried to snatch the metal tags his father wore during his sleep... and he always got caught.
-
A sharp ringing noise pierced through the ebony black ears of a feline like fur named Nintai Tamashii. The sound resonated throughout her aching body; she wanted to cover her ears, to block out the sound, but her muscles screamed in protest when she attempted to move her arms. It was the feeling of stiffness, when you stay in the same position all night long, but also something else. It was the tranquillizer still faintly pulsing through her blood stream. Cerulean and scarlet eyes squinted through the harsh florescent lighting. That's right, she was being held captive in one of the bloodlines bases and was currently laying in a cold metal cage with I.V.'s inserted into what seemed like every vein in her body. Her best friend had given her up, though she really couldn't blame him. The one to blame, or rather the thing to blame, was inside her. A darkness that has been there since birth, fused into her soul. Like yin and yang, one can not be without the other. Suddenly Nintai noticed a piece of the wall started moving towards her, her hetero-colored eyes followed the movement as it got closer. When the white blur stopped outside her cage she realized it wasn't the wall at all, but in fact a man in a lab coat.
"Sir, subject #357-A seems to be conscious,"
The lab tech said to a person that approached from outside of Nintai's peripheral version.
"Excellent, it's still alive then. Give the subject more sedative then move it to the physical examination area."
Said a female voice.
"Yes, ma'am!"
The lab coat said as the woman walked away. He then took out a needle and proceeded to insert it into and I.V. attached to Nintai's arm. A few seconds later the world faded to black again.
Meanwhile in the civilian area of the base where all the turncoats were kept, a black wolf with crimson eyes was gearing up for the third time that day.
"Come on Shin hurry up."
One of his fellow traitors called to him.
"Right..." He replied, putting on his bullet proof vest. This was the last place Shinosuke wanted to be, but at the time he didn't have any other choice. It was either this or be an experiment, though it didn't really matter where he was anymore. He had nothing left to live for now that his best friend was gone, lost to feral instincts.
"Forget it, she's gone. Nothing can bring her back now." The wolf thought to himself as he was given an assault rifle by one of his 'teammates'.
"Ready to go?"
He asked. Shinosuke nodded and they headed for their destination.
-
Xleena nodded calmly, getting onto Kor's back. She waited for him to go.
-
(Stop, Hamma time)
Sgt. Mac, wasted no time opening up at the shape he saw emerge from the blown up building, unloading 5.56 rounds at the shape.
-
Jay looked worried, but he figured that if Mac opened fire, then this must be really dangerous and he should probably try to help in some way. His mind drifts back to his old farm back home, shooting at cans set up on the fence. He replays these images in his mind as his arms raise to two .45's, breathing calmly and squeezing off swiftly aimed rounds at the figure in the distance. In his head, as they always had, the cans fly off the fence with a loud *plink*. He had never shot at another person before, but as long as he kept those images in his head, it was surprisingly easy... that and the clear danger the figure presented - why else would Mac have started firing?
-
Xavier was covered by what once was a wall of the building, he tried to move but it was no good. There, stuck under the rubble he had no other choice then to just wait until either suffocating or getting rescued.
-
Kor gulped before lifting up the tile. He got out quietly enough to avoid the two guards looking down the hall from hearing him, he then slid the tile back on and began to sneak out the building. He found that the entrance was only guarded by one guy. Just one? he thought as he put two fingers on the ground, and let the tile become two claws on his fingers so he could pierce the neck of the guard through the slit of his armor and into his neck and spine, which he did.
There was a look of shock on the guard as he quietly dropped and left his weapon. Kor did a double take before slinging the gun over his shoulder and away from the fur that was on his back. He hooked his claws and used light earth manipulation to scale the wall and onto the roof. He saw a guard at the corner, with a light mounted on his rifle. Kor knew he couldn't kill the guard outright, but he had to make sure the guard wouldn't yell for assistance. As soon as he got under the guard, Kor reached up and yanked the guard off the roof and about a good hundred feet above the closest ground. The guard was rather scared, and the collar around the neck clarified why. Most turncoats weren't as resilient as Bloodline regulars, so were drastically easier to scare. "Where is Karin Nikobi!?" Kor said in a gruff and gritty voice he adopted, to which the guard favorably responded to. "S-Shes supposed to be in cell 526 with s-subject #357, but shes not here, she b-broke free during one of the checkpoints and dashed out of range... oh god, don't kill me Drax!" what the turncoat said struck a nerve in Kor, did he really look that much like his father....?
He pushed it out of his head and slit the guard's throat with the same claws on his two fingers. Kor then dropped the claws and took a map out of one of pockets in his armor. "You made a choice to be a turncoat, I have neither pity nor mercy for you..." he said before dropping the guard with a rather loud -thud-. He vaulted up the side and read the map, looking for cell 526 and making sure he was out of sight of any ground troops, and near ariel cover....
-
Xleena felt no sympathy towards the guards-- the first one in particular, he had been one of the main scumbags that had been particularly cruel and disrespectful. strengthening her clutch on Kor, she smiled for the first time in years, never mattering how faint it was. He had done her a lot of favors today.
-
"c'mon then ya skanky feline you.."
Kitt struggled weakly for a second before giving up and hanging limp in the guards grip...
"just for tryin to escape like that... ya deserve this..."
Doubling over in pain, before being yanked up the guard had made a quick punch to the kidneys for all times sake...
"now you dont try n run away again ya hear me lil' cat? cos if ya do this collar is gonna... shock ya!"
with the last two words the guard smacked Kitt into the wall and dropped him to the floor...
-
Dirt flew up from every direction as Spike covered ground towards the exterior fence to freedom. The grass caught aflame as Spike ran over it. He was a man, panicked, enraged, and on fire. His eyes still glowing red as the flames exploded off his fur, shooting small balls of fire in every direction. Bullets riddled the side of his body. A shrill roar was released from his lungs. Out of the wounds seeped something far from blood. Like gasoline out of a tanker, the liquid flames poured from bullet holes along with a small ammount of melted lead. The bullets had melted upon entry of his skin. He struggled to make it to the exterior fence only feet away. The heat from the flames causing the wire to turn orange. He dragged himself across the ground, the fence turning to a silver liquid has he pushed himself through the hole, still taking fire from guards.
-
Looking around, Charles caught a faint sighting of Kor. "There he is, Engage!" he yelled before firing with Collins
-
The rabbit looked at Mac confused, it didn't look so much like a break-in as it did a break-out... he stops firing, letting his arms fall to his sides, wondering what's going on.
-
The guard dragged Kitt out through the hole spike had made, to within ten metres of the fence beside a rabbit who had been firing on the figure... gripping him by the collar securely the guard pointed to the burning image of spike tearing through the fence...
"shame you cant catch fire like that eh? youre not gonna be going anywhere are ya?"
Eyeing the guard with a single feline eye he spat onto the guards visor and growled...
"ugh, that just does it...."
Pulling out a large pistol the guard held it under Kitt's chin, just above the collar...
"give me one good reason not to shoot you in the head..eh? or maybe in the neck... let you bleed to death you 'orrible fur!"
Kitt's growling ceased, a smile crept into the corner of his mouth.... twisting lightly in the guards grip his kick aimed true... straight into the guards crotch....
-
Jay didn't know what to do as the feline was dragged towards his position, he looked apprehensive of the guard's violent approach to handling him, until the cat lashed out that is. He immediately dived on the feline figure, pressing a forearm to his jaw so he couldn't speak and a Col to his temple so he would try anything stupid, "Look, I don't know what you did to get put in here, but I swear right now that if you move, I will end you." He felt bad for the cat, but at the same time he was weary of the figure that had just destroyed that section of the fence - wondering if the rest of the people here were as violent or destructive... and he had no intention of becoming rabbit flambé.
-
Kitt stared into the lapine's eyes, taking in a deep breath and exhaling he acknowledged his position... this one wasnt for playing around with.... looking over at the guard who was still groaning, at his kees cursing under his breath he grinned... the bigger they where the harder they fall....
the forearm of the said rabbit was trussed up against his jaw and neck... right beside the shock and dampener collar.... Kitt's eyes rolled back "ah, ah....CHOO!" he sneezed violently... stopping immediately and putting his arms either side of him to show that he had not intention of trying anything and he had merely sneezed because the dust the pair had kicked up around him... what the rabbit didnt know is that with the sneeze the catch of the collar had been pulled half off... nearly enough for him to get off himself later...
-
Spike was already through the fence. The minefield would prove something of a challenge for him. He could feel the flames that consumed him were slowly starting to die down as he was no longer enraged. He was losing bodily fluids from where he was shot. He looked back, the attention drawn away from him to the feline at the hole in the wall. He couldn't go back to help. He needed this momentum to get past the mines. He scanned the clearing, small trip wires and bumps scattered about in the radio active sands. He crawled on his stomach, but he had to hurry, guards would be out hunting him within minutes. His eyes were returning to their normal shine of yellow and the fires were now smouldering on his orange fur. He crawled and crawled, avoiding the bumps and wires of instant death, praying he wasn't suddenly blown to pieces or bleed to death in the middle of his way to freedom.
-
The rabbit sighed heavily, looking over at Mac for some direction as to what to do with the strange feline. He hadn't shown what he could do to the guards yet, and he didn't want to reveal the extent of his shapeshifting yet, nonetheless he wanted to use it to help keep the cat pinned for now. Getting creative he changes the musculature in his arms closer to that of a rhino, leaving the white fur on the outside of his arms to give the illusion of no change. Once again he felt pity for the feline, the weight shift wasn't going to be comfortable for him at all.
-
Kitt choked as the rabbit put a large amount of pressure on his throat... he was surprised the collar hadnt come off on its own.... jeez that was some strength for a rabbit... struggling for a second he gave up, watching the lapine with one bright feline eye, somthing was different about this one.... not like the guards... and any Turncoat would have slit his throat without another thought.... gasping for a breath he managed to string together a few words from his not often used vocabulary...
"why...me.. dont... you... kill?"
-
"You haven't done anything to me, why would I kill you?" the rabbit remains absolutely ignorant of the whole situation, just being more confused by the feline he was restraining. He looked over at Mac and the other guard writhing on the ground... that one was giving him some strange looks too... he needed someone to tell him what was happening, he'd spent too long alone to understand exactly what hatred looked like, or to recognize prisoners. All the books he had read described cities as bustling centers of business and happy citizens, the lapine could only look for guidance from, what he believed to be, his friend Mac.

Mac slid down the ladder of the guard tower and smashed the butt of his rifle on Kitt's head.
"Nice work Jay, you got our prisoner back under control, we'll take it from here" he said, as he and the Pvt. grabbed the cat's shoulders.
-
Jay subtly turns his arm back to normal, "P-...prisoner?" he looks confused, but rubs the back of his head in embarrrassment at the praise. "I guess that break-in's sorted now... though I think he got away" he refers to the figure that had melted the fence.

"We have a team en route after him right as we speak, I'm sure you have a lot fo questions about this World we live in, correct?" mac said, handing the cat to someone else.
-
"Umm... yeh, I guess I do..." the rabbit fidgets uncomfortably with one of his ears, gaze shifting from the 'prisoner' to Mac to the other guard and back, an endless puzzled cycle.
-
"Well long ago, before we were born, the world was ravaged by a nuclear war, how it was sparked, is lost to us now, but my forefathers and others, traveled to the East when they discovered Furs like you were hostile, and over a span of 50 years, have rebuilt human civilization, however our government established these prisons to try and cure the Furs of their disease, which causes them to be homicidal, judging by your age you should've experienced it, but you must have a rare gene that prevents it, so your one of the few sane furs alive." Mac explained Taking Jay by the shoulder and leading him to the barracks.
-
Jay walks with Mac, an astonished look crossing his faced, "I'm not... diseased... this is how I've always been" he can't really comprehend the difference, because he can't understand that humans and furs are different somehow. He looks around the barracks, not being comfortable in this 'prison'.

"Your diseased, only thing wrong is the fur, and relax, the Barracks are for us without insanity."
-
"Oh... okay then" he gives a small, weak smile - trusting Mac implicitly. He hops up onto one of the empty bunks, bouncing slightly on the mattressm "So I guess I'm staying here now?"
-
"You can if you join the Corps, otherwise you'll get transported to a city somewhere."
-
Kor felt a bullet whiz past his head and ducked to the ariel cover. So much for eluding those two... he thought before looking back to the electronic map in his hands, he put his destination: cell 526, in the navigational system, which then made a holographic projection of an arrow, pointing to his left and then down for a few seconds before going back to the left and vanishing. He chuckled at the simplicity of the directions as he put the map in one of his trenchcoat pockets and followed the direction the arrow pointed.
He lept off the building, making the earth bend around his point of impact before getting up and running down the row of unusually unattended cells. He finally reached the location of cell 526, to see four guards patrolling the front door. They probably bolstered their guards just recently after my little stunt at your place, don't make a single sound and i'll be able to get in... If I can't save my mother, I'll rescue the one she was going to be sharing a cell with... he 'told' the fur on his back before hiding again, knife in his left and his looted rifle in his right hand.
Imagine, he thought he was only going to knock out a few guards and escape without a hitch, and now hes prepared to start a firefight....
-
"Oh... I- I don't know if I wanna do that... I mean, you're the only one I know here, but I don't want to join anything..." his eyes shift around the barracks again, contemplating his position and wondering if he should trust this man he'd just met enough to do real introductions... he seemed nice enough, but the rabbit really couldn't understand the idea that he was 'diseased', he'd been sick before, but this was different, the fur was normal to him.
-
Kitt was manhandled into a long low room full of bunks.. thrown onto the mattress the guards left through a heavy steel door....
Lying back, carefully Kitt felt along the line of the collar... the clasp was askew from the force that had been put on it... maybe.. just maybe, enough for him to get off himself... Lying back he closed his eyes... he didnt want to sleep, to be defenceless... but fatigue rolled over him as he rolled onto his side....
-
His breathing was heavy, his lungs weezing. Spike had gotten past the mine field and was now in the partial surrounding forest. The flames were long gone. He looked at his fur, normal. Wearing nothing but a pair of boots and camo pants, Spike made his way deeper into the woods while flashlights and footsteps trailed behind. He ran through the dark in full sprint refusing to look back. He would need some help soon or he would be back where he started or worse.
-
All the stuff happening had caused the pile of rubble move to the sides finally letting Xavier move freely. He rose up and took a moment to just stand there and breath the "fresh" air. "Ahh finally some fresh air... note to self wall equals bad" He said in a attempt of calming down. "Have to find out that in the world is happening right here"
-
"So tell me about these friends of yours Jay' Mac asked, looking up at the bunny.
(to Charles)
"We lost him sir!" Collins reported.
"Where did that filth go... He's closeby, i can feel it, fan out, track him down!" Charles ordered
-
"They're closer than you think..." Jay smiles, tilting his head and giving a mischievous grin. With that, his fur rapidly changes from snowy white to a darker grey, his muzzle and tail lengthening and overall he became slightly bigger. The wolf now standing before Mac gave a small wave, "Hey, I’m Caleb" he introduces himself, completely relaxed. Next, his fur takes on a vivid orangey-red, tail becoming slightly bushier but shrinking significantly. The female fox's paws shoot down to grab the edges of her, now, over-large cargo pants. She blushes deeply, giving a nervous smile, "H- hey…" the vixen stutters out her shy greeting.
-
The sharp metal edges on the collar fastening where digging into Kitts paws.... using the metal bunk to help him he managed to lever the collars fastening.. and with one final effort pulled the whole collar off.... throwing the collar down under his mattress he breathed a sigh of relief as he drank in a deep breath.... cloding his eyes, breathng slowing he emerged himself into the shadow-world.... to any that where watching it would appear he had simply vanished into thin air....
"no time like the present...." Kitt muttered to himself before quietly sneaking over to the doorway.....
-
Pausing for a moment, Xleena asked though telepathy Do you maybe have any guns? I'm not the best shot, but maybe I can cover you? I want to help. She insisted, burying her face more tightly into Kor's back.
-
The heavy door slid open with a his of compressed air... the armoured guard trudged in with a large stack of trays with some muck for the prisoners to eat.... he hated his job, for the most part... he thought he would be shooting furs by day and torturing by night... in reality he was *urk*
Kitt grabbed the guard from behind, pulling his pistol from its holster and firing three shots deftly into the back of the knee....
"good evening gov'nor.... care to let me out?"
Pulling the moaning guard to the doorway he slid the keycard into the slot, the small light turned green as the guard slumped to the floor clutching his knee.... to the small number of furs in the bunkhouse it seemed as though the guard had just shot himself in the leg before opening the door.... there was a mad scramble for the doorway as several furs jumped off the bunks towards what they hoped was freedom...
-
Cpl. Collins had broken off the search for Kor, and witnessed the guard shoot himself in the leg, seeing the furs mad dash for freedom, he frantically fired in the air a couple times to calm them down.
-
Sorry, beyond my knife this is the only weapon I have against the guards. Wait, maybe you can! Kor handed the rifle to Xleena and put his hands to the wall, trying to guess where he could hit them if he called up spikes from the walls. Fire at the last guard to the left when I say so, and not until then... got it?
-
Mac, watching the transformation instinctively reached for his rifle and was just about to shoot when he remembered who he was aiming at.
-
Sasha tilts her head curiously at Mac's reaction, "Well, this is us... umm..." she winks at him and turns into the feline they'd detained earlier, "...I guess can be anyone" he shifts back to the lapine form, who gestures down at himself, "But this is the real me"
-
speak of the devil, Kitt was leaning against a wall in the bunhouse complex.... keeping up his camo was intensley hard... he released his concenctration and if anyone had been watching it would seem a panting feline had just appeared, leaning against the concrete wall....
-
Xleena nodded gratefully, taking the rifle. A long time since she had held a rifle, never mind fired one! She was good however, she knew she could do it.
Despite all the bad things the scientists had done, they had increased things such as her raw strength and her hand/eye co-ordination, which could help steadying and getting a good shot on a victim. Redying her shooting stance, her paw poised on the trigger-- she awaited her savior's order.
-
Kitt ran, cloaked once again, his paw prints scudding across the dusty ferrocrete... he turned the corner at full pelt... he was gonna get out of here.... nothing could stop him now.... with a muffled oof he slammed into the figure of xleena hoisting a rifle to her shoulder.... losing his footing he slipped and slammed into the ferrocrete wall astride of the two figures.... his concentration lost he slipped out of a world of shadows into a world of light and pain... to those watching a young feline appeared to have suddenly appeared out of thin air, one moment nothing, the next a grey furred cat was sprawled panting and disorientated in the dust...
-
Kor felt something slam into his back, and as he fell, he saw a cat sprawled on the ground. You've got to be kidding me!! he thought as he caught himself, trying to make as little noise as possible. Although he felt like yelling, he quickly checked to see if the guards noticed, and they were still sationary. Take out the guard on the far left...now!
-
Kitt watched the large figure in front of him, obviously enraged by his sudden, and unexpected, collision.... concentrating for a moment he started to slip back into shadow and invisbilty... as long as he wasnt interrupted he could still get away...
-
Seeing a cat materialize out of thin air, Charles opened fire, no questions asked towards the group, for all he knew trhey could be trying to escape, he didnt care the reason he had to vent out steam.
-
Bullets ricocheted off ferrocrete around Kitt and the others, concentration broken he slipped back into visibilty again... The bullets screamed hot death as they tore into earth, ferrocrete and occasionally flesh. Kitt bit back a scream, blood welling up from his lip as a bullet chewed its way into his right paw....
-
Holding her breath, she aimed, squeezing the trigger without noise. The shot went squarely into the guard's neck (she aimed for the head), nevertheless gaining the same result. The guard slumped, unaware he had died. She smiled, it felt good to get this place back, even a little.
-
The bunny smirked at Mac, "You let me see your face and I can even look like you" he sounds cheerful as he offers, but there was no way he would want to stay that way - he was so accustomed to fur, he didn't know how he'd deal without it, even if it made him look non-diseased...
-
Kor pressed into the wall of the jail room they were next to, and earthen spikes shot out at ballistics velocity, cutting down the rest of the guards who were within range of the wall. Only one guard remained you got the right to last kill since you helped me out there....
-
Spike sat against a tree deep in the woods. He was out of breath and it looked like he'd lost his pursuers. He took a moment to catch his breath and figure out where he was. He ran in every direction and wasn't sure where to go next. He hoped he'd be able to find a road if he just kept walking but for now he was on break and was still trying to figure out his special ability.
-
(Chrono/Xleena i'm shooting at you you know that right?)
Mac just barely held in his vomit at the rabbit changing forms to a wolf, to a fox thing. "Dear lord what did i get myself into". he thought to himself
-
Jay, still completely relaxed, tilted his head curiously at Mac, "Umm, hey, you're not lookin' so good..." he sounded concerned for (what he mistakenly assumed was) his friend. He took a step toward Mac, "Maybe you should lie down or something."
-
Xleena aimed at Charles, grateful for Kor's gesture. Holding her breath in again, she took a shot at the man's head. Pulling the trigger twice, she wanted to make sure this man was taken out, even if she missed one of them. She felt like an overkill.
-
(also another thing Mac isnt near Kor or Xleena, charles is)
-
Kor saw his helper missing her target, and since they had no cover, he slamed into the ground on his left, shooting them up and onto the roof. He caught her mid-lift and used himself to soften her landing. Nevermind, lets just try to get out of here alive... alright? he felt her shaking from the sudden change from 'going to be shot' to 'avoided death' in possibly two seconds. "Shh... its alright, I'm not going to do anything to intentionally get you hurt. My mother isn't in this camp, so we should probably be finding a way out"
-
"HES ON THE ROOF WITH THE ESCAPEE! FRICKIN SHOOT HIM ALREADY!" Charles yelled angrily as soldiers opened fire
-
Everyones attention seemed to be diverted away from Kitt, soldiers opened fire on the figure on the roof.... concentrating, he felt himself slip back into a world of shadow... time to move, and fast.... pawprints scudding away, dirt kicked up by what to everyone that was watching... was nothing...
-
A man in a dusty trenchcoat and re breather cautiously approaches the form of Spike. The mans name is Sanders, he was out hunting for some mutated cattle or some mutated rats when he stumbled upon the form of Spike. Getting used to the form of animalistic humans, Sanders knew he wasnt prey, but friend. Still, when all hell broke loose, one doesnt help but to be careful, he has his .44 Shepard in his right, as he offered his left to the fallen Fox.
"Need some help there?"
-
Kor ducked down under the range of their guns, and took out the map that got him to this cell-block. "Closest low-rise wall, now!" he told the small map, it flickered to life and pointed the arrow, but instead of maping out his direction, it just pointed in the general direction of the wall. We're getting out of here! Kor thought before taking off again, and uses earthbending to vault him from one roof to the next until he reaches a wall....
-
Pawprints scudding across the dusty earth Kitt ran, nothing more than a whispy shadow, a trick of the light... he ran for the hole the fox had made in the fence, his way out.... getting to the corner of a building he lowered his stealth, drawing in huge gulping breaths... he'd need to stop now, once in the open he couldnt stop....
"okay, three, umm.. two?.. whatever, go!" SLiding back into shadow, his body disapeared into a whispy form, running he jumped through the hole, reaching the minefield he started to leap, from rock to rock when there where rocks, and dove and rolled when there werent, anything to disperse the effect of mines that where set off....
~ka'thwing~ A spring mine leapt out from the groun, ducking and rolling Kitt made every use of his short height and minimal body size, even so it was a close call... shrapnell caught in one arm, a spray of crimson blood mixing with his fur.... he kept on running, no stopping, no looking back....
-
Xleena clutched tightly to Kor, worried for their lives. She couldn't do much to help, she had no special abilities and her gunning skills were average.
She noticed some loose metal tiles as they were coming up to a roof, and kicked them hard behind her, hitting a few guards that were chasing them. That should keep some away! She transmitted to Kor.
-
Kor looked down at the guards and nodded slightly. Not what I planned, but I guess it could work he thought before picking up the fur again and leaping from the roof to the last building, then finally leaping from the last roof and over the fence. He softened the landing by bending his legs at the last second, then took off from the base in full sprint. We're heading to the Temple of the Elements, its the safest place we can be at!

What's at the temple of elements? She inquired, as she swooped down and grabbed a rock, throwing it at a tuncoat holding a sniper rifle in a tree, falling and breaking their arm. She had keen eyes, thats for sure, and hearing, she had to-- thats when she could hear them coming, and preparing herself for their beatings.

Kor chuckled inwardly at her question, of course an experimented fur would know nothing of this place. Its usually where fur children with an elemental skill can go to train, it also doubles as a safe-house for those who escape the Bloodline encampents. Surely someone there will have a way to draw out something more advanced than this telepathy you have. He stopped sprinting and used earth manipulation to make a rock-board that goes through the earth like a surfboard through water.

What about your mother?? She asked, prepared to go back. She did want to check out this temple however... having something like a power would be useful, perhaps she could even learn to talk again? She wondered these things whilst being taken away in the night.

Kor hopped over a few boulders and up a cliff-side while 'speaking' with the fur on his back. She'd want me to save whoever I can, and since shes escaped, I can have hopes that she is much better than either of us at survival he then slid down a hill and reached a nearby village, whom the villagers offered excess foods that they did not need. Some meat and bread were considered heavenly gifts for those on the go. Kor gratefully thanked them and handed some to the fur that was with him, waiting for her to finish her portion before continuing their journey.

Taking a roll to the side, Charles avoided both shots, opening fire before sprinting after the pair, managing to avoid the tile, he maintained his pursuit of them, however they had a big lead on him due to his heavier equipment.
"Charles to base... Zeit has escaped, I repeat Zeit has escaped... The killer of Shepard is still out there.... and we shall find him and make him pay for his sins!"
