I cannot contain it any longer.
I've played the demo a thousand times.
I've deafened myself from the fantastic villains so as not to spoil the quotes when I get the full game
I've revelled in the writing
Cried in ecstacy at the combat
Gone through every concievable angle of stealth
AND IF I DONT GET BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM SOON, I WILL EXPLODE!
I havent felt like this since the Left4Dead demo, which was only a November ago... the last few gaming years have been kind to me.
I'm BATMAN!
-
I too will explode if I don't get it.
Rarely does a combat game make multi-hand-to-hand so smooth and easy. Head shots with the batarang is fun.
I just wish the demo would have allowed at least part of the boss battle. :'(

i think the only problem i have is that when batman dies, he's not exactly dynamic or even dignified about it. It's just crazy ragdoll hijinks when the hitpoints reach 0. But then Batman's not supposed to die, so if he does, you only have yourself to blame :P

I've played a Demo for this game and it seems really cool. I lack an Xbox, but my friend who has one absolutely loves this game.. I'd play it because they seem to use the classic Joker. I've heard nothing but good things about this game..

It's on PC and PS3. On PC it runs brilliantly even with a damaged system like mine.
oh and it's written by Paul Dini (who wrote Batman (the cartoon) with Bruce Timm. They pretty much invented Harley Quinn)

HEY JUDE
NANANANANANA-
Wait, what is this again?

I was finally able to watch a friend play the demo tonight, I think it looks pretty awesome. Though I am still a bit disappointed in Harley's costume change. :(

Yeah...

DO NOT WANT.
Harley was not even a nurse and I swear, she looks like any goth kid on Halloween. I don't understand why they have to make female characters trampy for people to like them. Harley was never like that, she was more of an adorable type. This is like a reject ICP costume.

I quite like Harley's costume. The old one wouldnt fit into the realistic world Arkham Asylum has createdand frankly she's always been a sex symbol, so trampy isnt that far off. Plus this makes her look more aggressive to Batman and more submissive to the Joker. I do like the old costume but I also like this new interpretation.
Also the whole nurse thing is probably because they've taken over the asylum. Now they're in charge.

Actually the old one fit much better in my opinion. they were able to use the old school batman and joker outfits in this more relistic setting theres no reason hers wouldn't of worked too. Instead they went with the age ol cliche, "Lets make a porn star" character. Really it ruins it for me even if I was never a fan of the character. You don't need to have skimpy outfits to be attractive, thats just a bad precedent that youth today mistake it as.
Last I checked this was a batman game, not a "OMG shes hawt!" fest.

I cant believe I forgot something so obvious. The reason she wears that uniform is because she used to be a psychiatrist. Silly me.
Also, I think the oldschool batman outfit doesnt work well in the realistic setting (underwear on the outside has never been a good idea), but I doubt they thought they could have gotten away with changing Batman without a scratch.
and Harley's always been in the "OMG she's hawt!" camp, no matter how much she covers.
