Title: Database failure

Hi all,

Unfortunately during last night's backup the pointers on the database failed to close correctly and the database became corrupted.

Fortunately the previous day's backup was available and was put in place, however due to the fact I had taken a backup only a few minutes before the corruption (as I had slipped up and had to replace something) I decided to merge the two databases so there was minimal data loss. This took 5 hours to do successfully and was split by sleep being required by myself.

The forums are now running smoothly and failsafes are now in place to prevent it occurring again. A small amount of data loss may still be present and for this I apologise, however this data is not recoverable. Apologies for any disruption caused.

Nothing personal :P The script I ran was for a number of members, I just typoed or forgot to change the id to your own. Simple slipup.
