Okay, so this is going to be about the "band" that a group of us made for RP (You can make a band too if you wanna) and it will consist usually of concerts, recording sessions, outings, meetings, jams, etc. And this will be alot of fun to act like you're "With the band" and everything. To spot out the obvious rules, no spamming or god-like powers, no drama, kind words please, and to keep with the Blank Limit lineup, which is as follows:
- Singer ~ "Vamp"
- Guitar ~ "Random Knowledge"
- Bass ~ "Spike Vicious"
- Drums ~ "Scautty"
I and the others will try to keep an update on anything with the "band," and just remember to try and have fun, I personally will try and include as many people as possible in getting to be friends with the band (RP-wise) so... yeah. :)
I'll go ahead and post my RP profile and let everyone else do so themselves.
Name: Scautty
Age: 22
Species: Wolf
Characteristics: Look at pic
Relation to Blank Limit: Drummer
I sat on the sofa, waiting for the others to get ahold of me. Today was the day we had finally gotten signed over to Folf Records, but we needed an agent - Bad. ((Hint))
Our single started playing on the local radio just recently, and we are now getting into recording proffesionally. We could have done it ourselves, but noting the bad quality and what we went through just to get it advertised... It would be alot less work being with a studio under an agent. And financially less troublesome. We just have to meet the marker of making three albums in the next few years and we're good.
I constantly checked my cell, making sure I could catch any call that came my way. I also jumped at any sound, may it be knocking on the door behind me. I fiddled with my drumsticks against my thighs, watching the television. The volume was really low; I guess it was on for more of an ambience thing than entertainment. I just was waiting for any call - being with my buds in the band was the funnest thing to do.

Connection to Blank Limit: Vocals

Vamp walked through the front door, snuck up on Scautty, and dive-bombed onto the large couch. "Wassup? I got your text. I think we should just hang back and relax today. Whatcha' think?" he asked as he tackled his fellow bandmate.
-
After being scared to death, I realized Vamp had come in - I left the door unlocked, I'm smart. He ravagely tickled me, landing me on the floor.
"Hahaha... Well, I guess so... What are we gonna do about an agent?" I sat up from the floor, set my drumsticks on the counter and pulled out some soda.
-
"I'm not absolutly sure. But I do know that you need new drumsticks." he replied, pointing at the gnarled shafts of wood. "They look like a bone that Spike may have been chewing on." he laughed.
-
I looked at the sticks he directed to - yeah, I do need some new ones. I used those constantly ever since our first recording, and have practiced with them alot. The gashes from the cymbals and dents from rimshots... It seemed neccessary. "Oh, yeah, haha. Those old things... I think the others need new guitars too. Just because they'll look cooler." I laughed, drinking some of the root beer.
-
"Yeah, probably. And while we're at it we need a tour bus." Vamp joked.
-
I scoffed jokingly. "My tiny car isn't enough for ya? You looked like you were having fun crammed next to your PA." I laughed, taking in turn gulps of soda, nailing the counter.
-
"I'm just sayin that all our equipment probably won't fit in your clown car." he said as he playfully punched Scautty's shoulder.
-
"Yeah, yeah..." I rubbed my arm. "Did you get ahold of the others by chance? Maybe we could have a meeting or something about this deal going on." I have to admit, I was a bit giddy all day knowing we were signed. I just don't want anything to ruin that.
-
"No such luck there, dude." he answered as he grabbed an apple from the fridge. "I dunno where they are."

"Man... it's cool. They're bound to be here sometime." I looked over at the printer. "Hehe..." I walked over and grabbed the printed paper from it, and flashed it at Vamp. "How does this look?"
It was a yellow sheet of paper, "BLANK LIMIT" in big letters. At the bottom was the numbers for the apartment we stayed at - here. These numbers were all alligned at the bottom, vertically. "This'll help get the word out about needing an agent." I slammed the paper down on the counter for Vamp to check it out. As he did so, I jumped over the back of the couch and turned up the TV.
-
"Interesting, but we could also put an ad in the paper." he said "But this wworks just as well." he chuckled at the vibrant flyer. "By the way, we are a punk and rock band, am I correct? If we are, the why is our flyer bright yellow?" he inquired.
-
"Ha, funny story." I continued watching the TV, waiting for his reaction. "That's the only paper I had lying around here. Look on the back."
He flipped it over to find "Country Mart! Your source for Fruits, Vegetables, and Meats! Straight from the Country!" A big cow head circled with the words "Country Mart" topped it.
-
"Wow... just wow. We are a signed band printing our flyers on the back ov grocery ads. Wow." he said sarcastically.
-
"Well, if we had an agent, that wouldn't be a problem." He looked back at him and smiled. "Or pocket money for that matter. I'm just preserving the money we're getting now in credit. It's better than having to withdraw $20 bucks just to buy paper." He looked into his can, empty. He shot for the wastebasket. Hit the rim, but total miss.
-
"Nice shot shaq. Anyway, let's go to the clubs. whaddya say?" he asked
-
I look back again. "Clubs? What about the others?" He enjoyed the club, getting almost EVERYONE there up on him. I mean, he's the singer to a band. He's such a party animal. Pun intended.
-
"We will catch them later. They're probably there now!" he said "So grab some glow sticks and move your tail!"
-
"*sigh* Fine, haha. I'll cut slits into the flyer and hang it up on the way I guess." I went ahead and did so, letting the slips hang from the paper, leaving anyone to call the number. I grabbed my light jacket and adjusted it onto my shoulders.
-
"Ahem, glowsticks? just grab a handful out of the cupboard." he reminded.
-
"Yeah, yeah. Haha." I tossed him some, and grabbing myself a few. I closed the cupboard and walked on and opened the door. "Let's go!"
-
"To the clown car!" Vamp laughed.
-
As Vamp walked out, I pushed him aside and left the room. Looking behind me, I rattled the keys. "You want me to make you sit in the back?" I stuck my tongue out at him.
-
"It's all the same place in that little lunchbox." He replied.
-
"Ha!" I continued on, Vamp behind me. We continued down the stairs and out the building. (We were encountered by some fans along the way, of course.) I climb on into the car and start it up, and buckle up. "Ready to go?"
-
"You know it, dude just go!" Vamp replied

"Alright, alright!" I drove up and out of the lot, slowly pulling up to a lightpost at a stop sign. Reaching out the window, I slapped the flier onto it, using a nail already residing amongst the others used for fliers, and continued on. "Hitting two birds with one stone. Get an agent, and rave!"
_,.-=(( Here's where people can enter in as fans, passerbys, etc. The flier is up, so Those Agents-in-waiting can have at it! :) ))=-.,_
-
Chrono is walking along the street, then sees a car stop by a lightpost and hammer a flyer into a wall. His third eye looked at the license plate of the car while he walked over to the post and read with his right. "Hm....well I'm always up for a challenge, I even have a few connections for commercial resources..." he said out loud as he took out his PDA and jotted down the address and time, then put on his rarely used shades and walked on with a grin on his face...
-
"Alright, we're here!" I parked the car, terribly of course, outside of the public joint. I turned the key and climbed out of the car.
-
"Alright! This is what I'm talking about!" Vamp said happily.
-
He shows up at the address and sees some people heading into the joint, not recognizing them as the people from earlier as he follows them inside. "This is a nice place....I wonder how much it cost to rent out..."
-
We went on in, and downstairs of course was the dancefloor. on it resided many others just being themselves - moving for the sake of motion. The DJ span some pretty sweet beats. I equipped the glow rings on each of my limbs and jumped on in. The ecstasy of cluster kicked in and I just danced around.

Relation to Blank Limit: Bassist
He sat in the small garage at the old Storage facility and lit a cigarette. He held the smoke in his lungs as he looked over all his sterio equipment jammed into the tiny space before blowing out a few rings. He walked over to the case closest to him and removed it from the shelf. Spike held his bass as he took a final look at his things. He walked out and slammed the locker shut. He walked out to his car and put the bass in the back trunk before getting in and driving down the street.
-
I took a break from the rave - It changed to some peppy japanese girl stuff, I'm into deeper stuff. I took a step outside, leaving Vamp downstairs. I decided to call around to check on them. I pulled out my cell and rang up Spike.
-
Spike dug around his car for his phone as he drove. After finally finding it, he checked the I.D.
"Sup Scautty!>?"

Random sat in his good old buick le sabre as he waited anxiously for the light to turn from red, to green. "Why do these lights always take so long," Random said tapping his finger on the on the door. The light turned green and he slowly accelerated up to the speed limit and looked at the next light. It was already green, but there was a line of cars still stopped there. Gritting his teeth he slowed to a stop behind the cars. The line of cars started moving and as he made it up to the light it turned yellow, and the car in front of him stopped, forcing him to also stop. "Nooooo!" he cries out in anger.
-
Rowan walks down the street and spots the flier. "Sweet! This is exactly what I've been looking for." She tears it off the light post and quickly runs to the apartment building. She knocks on the door excitedly.
-
Chrono already left the rave club as soon as the bass hit his ear. He was slightly into the club scene, but the music was not for him. He was already back at his apartment when he heard a knock and opened the door....
(assuming you're actually looking for me x3)
-
"Dude, Spike! Vamp and I are at the club. What's up? Oh! We posted a flier about the whole agent deal." It was exciting, I wonder who was going to actually be interested. "What are you up to?"
-
((I was applying for an agent position... Not to mention a good looking girl is ideal as an agent... especially if she knows what she's doing! tehee xD ))
Rowan smiles. "Um... I'm looking for Vamp or one of the band members..."
-
Random arrives back at the apartment after a hard days work, something it seems most of the other band members don't understand. He parks his car in the parking lot and slowly drags his feet up the stairs exhausted. When he arrives at the apartment he sees a girl standing at the door talking to Chrono. 'Chrono, always the player,' Random thinks as he approaches the two people.
-
"Um... I don't think so." She let out a laugh. "You must be Random. I'm Rowan.. I'm here for the agent position..." She held up the flier.
-
(( Hmm... I'll make this seem easier. ))
I had already made my way back to the apartment, by foot. It really wasn't that far, and I had left the keys with Vamp back at the club. My discussion continued on the phone with Spike until I had finally reached the building. I had entered, gotten onto the elevator, and made my wait. Once it rang out it's tune denoting my arrival, the automatic doors opened. Outside the door stood these two characters, waiting outside. They both looked over at me -- still in my glow stick apparatus. How embarassing. "Oh! Um... Hello..." Were they another group of crazy fans...? But then I saw Random calmly with them. Even more embarassing.
-
He opened the door and saw nobody there, but when he looked to his right, he saw Rowan three doors down. "What are yo...wait, what?" he was about to ask what she was doing here but heard her ask about the band he also saw in the flyer. He left his room and closed the door before walking up to her....
-
Rowan looked at the person approaching her. "Uh... hello?" She asked, her crystal blue eyes sparkling.
-
"Oh that," Random said rubbing the back of his head. "Well come in and we can discuss the terms and everything." Random walked in past Chrono who was talking on the phone, and wadded through the mess of an apartment toward the practice room, the only place he was able to keep clean, and offered Rowan a seat in there.
-
Rowan followed and sat down. She looked around and smiled warmly.
-
I approached the group forming. "Hey, Spike, I'll call you back..." I closed my phone, and looked at the group as I put it away. "Um, you know these guys Random?" Then noticing my idly hanging neon ringlets, I quickly began removing them. I entered the room as well, passing on taking a seat.
-
(Since I have no idea whats going on, I'll just play along with RK) "No, I don't care if you don't want me to call this in, I'm calling it in and holding you to it...fine, nice working with you" He cut off his phone and looked at Random as he was with another girl. "Random, whos she?"
-
I look from the one on the phone over to Random as well. "I'd like to know the same thi--" Double-take. "Wait-- Who are you?"
-
"Chrono, I live three doors from you...and I came to apply for the agent job..." he said, his mohawk probably the second most prominent feature, the other being the third eye and the gouged out left one.
-
"Uh, I'm no good at these details, I'll let Scautty handle it with you, nice meeting you though Rowan," Random said leaving the room "That was someone looking to be our agent, her names Rowan. Hey Chrono would you please help me clean this crap up." Random then went about picking up the trash littering the room. He found about ten bucks in change, but it wasn't worth the moldy toast he found under the coach. Random sighed as he realized the time he was spending cleaning hadn't even made a dent in the mess that was the room.
-
"Sure, why not...." he goes around and looks for cleaning supplies and barely finds any. "Random, whens the last time you used any windex...or even dish-soap for that matter?"
-
"Oh..." I looked over at her - The attractive one named Rowan. I straightened myself out, they probably suspected I was a bum looking for the agent job. "Um, hello, I'm Scautty. The drummer for Blank Limit." I held a paw out for each of them meeting in a handshake. "I'm not quite sure how to make qualifications for agent... Have any of you had a job in managing financial and scheduling accounts?"
-
"Uh, I've used windex?" Random asked sarcastically. "Just pick up all this crap on the floor."
-
I looked on as the two cleaned up the area - I hope no one gets a bad impression thinking we think that "agent" to us meant "housekeeper."
-
He started picking up random objects, some broken, some used and broken...and some objects better left un-appraised. "I take it you either spend little time here, or use the mess as kick-stands?" Chrono joked as he went to go grab some garbage bags to help move all of this trash.
-
"No I just love wallowing in my own filth," Random said looking around, glad that most of the garbage is now picked up. "I'll go see if the vacuum still works, and it didn't get broken at some point when I was paying attention." Random found the vacuum cleaner and was pleased to see that it still in fact was able to clean. So he set it aside until Scautty and Rowan were done discussing the terms of the contract.
-
Chrono comes back with the bags, trying to avoid eye contact with the wolfess and heading towards Random. "If she becomes Agent, I can be the recording engineer if you need...and hopefully my eye doesn't scare her too much..." he said as he put the piles of trash into the garbage bags.
-
I looked over at the room - because I could, it wasn't cloaked in packrat work. "Wow, really good job, you guys!"
-
Vamp was dancing to the beat of the club music and swinging his glowsticks around. He was dancing with two really attractive girls, one a fox and the other was a lizard. As the music intensified, slightly hurting his ears, he went to look for Scautty. When his eyes failed him in his attempt, he whipped out his phone and went to the bathrooms, the only semi-quiet place. "Yo, Scautty, were are you? I'm still at the club. Did ya leave me?"
-
Spike dialed Vamp and put the phone to his ear as he drove.
-
Rowan smiles and greets Scautty. "I've interned for a huge agent industry and have had a few clients. But nothing that really made me want to stay with them." She moved her silky brown hair from her face and cleared her throat.
-
I flinched at her last remark. "Well I guarantee that your acquaintance will go into a great consideration of a full career." I tried to sound formal, no matter the first impression of glow sticks and the sad excuse for an office.
My phone rang up - It was from Vamp. I struggle for my phone, and picked up. "Hey, sorry. I had to go. The keys are in your jacket at the door. We have an agent here!"
-
Chrono almost forgot about the visitor when he got the two trash bags full, his hands too occupied carrying them. As soon as he turned around and saw her, he immedeatly blushed in embarassment and bolted, hoping she didn't see what was directly under the mohawk.
-
I looked at Chrono - shying away. "Hmm..." I went ahead and told Vamp to make his way home and hung up the phone. "Well now we just need to discuss a matter of pay. Our record deal has come down to 30% in share, so would it be fine that you got... 20%?" I had hoped my mental math was correct. With this she would still get a good pay. The record company was already taking a chunk of the money anyways...
-
Chrono came back with a headband wrapped aound his third eye, still not bothering to cover up the scarred left eye socket. He then handed Scautty a folded piece of paper that inside showed a rough application for recording engineer. He then sat on the couch and started combing his fingers through his mohawk.
-
"Oh... " I scimmed through the document that was presented to me by Chrono. It was a very impressive resume - and the appliance didn't show any trouble with him in a workplace. I looked over at him, pampering his nicely standing hair. I grinned, placing the paper on the counter. "The record company will love working with you. And I believe everyone will find you a good spot for Blank Limit." :)
-
Random looked around the now clean...er apartment and was pleased. He looked at Rowan who seemed to be sitting awkwardly by herself since Scautty was on the phone. "So, uh, Rowan, right, what other bands have you been an agent for?" Random asked standing against the wall of the practice room.
-
"Uh... well There was The Fallen, who didn't last very long, on account that the drummer passed from an OD. There was Morphine eclipse, who have made it very successful, but I could not continue with them for personal reasons. That's about it..." She looked at him, happily.

Name: Jesse
Age: 21
Species: red panda
Characteristics: red panda. need i say more?
Relation to Blank Limit: no relation. other record company producer / sound engineer when needed.
He sat in the record studio main building talking on his cell phone, writing something down.
"Ok. When do you want the session and where again?....Los Angeles on August 30?.....No I would like to start at 7 in the evening if at all possible......listen.....my style of work consists of recording the vocal with an acoustic guitar, taking that, and working around it. When finished with everything else, put the vocals back in. Then work on backing vocals and touchups. Then mixdown. Got that?.....Excuse me but if you're going to work with my you do things MY way.....Got that? Good. Goodbye. See you in Los Angeles." He hung up and brushed off to his office.
-
"Never heard of those bands, sorry," Random said shrugging, "However, you sound like you at least have some experience in managing a band. We really don't have any at all."
-
I turned to Rowan, continuing to nod my head in agreement. "Right here we have some talented people." I said, referring myself to Chrono and Rowan. "I would greatly find it an honor to include you into the Blank Limit family. Now... Does anyone have a van?" I scratched my head, innocently smiling.
-
Chrono stopped combing his hair when he asked about a van. "I do, but rarely use it since it sucks up gas...."
-
I brought my head back into a laugh. "With the pay you're getting, I don't think that'll be a problem." I smiled giving him a thumb up. Things were going good at this pace.
-
"No, I said I was buying the Line 6 not the Crate!" Spike argued with Steve at Steve's Music Co. "Well, the order form said Crate and it has your name on it, Spike." Steve said. "Listen, Steve, I've been coming here for my gear for 7 years...WHY would you assume that I would EVER buy a Crate amp?...LINE 6!!!" Steve thought for a moment. "Alright, I'll tell you what...I'll give you the Crate amp for free since I can't sell a custom amp and for such an inconvenience and I'll put in that order for the Line 6 and you can come back." Steve offered. Spike smiled. "Thanks, Steve!" Spike took the amp and shook Steve's hand before he left.
He walked outside and crammed the amp inside his car. He pulled out and drove away.
-
Everyone was having a good time. But not everyone was there... I decided to drop a text to everyone. If you get this call me. I sent it to Spike and Vamp, the two not present at the room.
As I awaited reply, I walked over to the fridge and pulled out some soda. "You want any?" I tossed one in Chrono's direction, and set one on the counter in front of Rowan. I then helped myself to one.
-
Spike reached into his pocket and puled out the phone. He read the text and closed the phone. "That's where you are." He made a U-turn and began his way over to the building. He opened his phone and began his reply. "Yo, got your text, I'll be there soon." He steered with his knees as he tapped away at the buttons.
-
Vamp came in through the door with three glow stick necklaces and the hairdo from hell. "Whatcha talkin' about?" he asked as he finished fixing his fur.
-
Rowan smiled and sat contently. "Thank you so much. I wont let you down." She looked at everyone in the room and relaxed. She took out her phone and checked any messages she had recieved
-
Chrono caught the soda and then looked at Rowan while drinking it. He wondered if he should show her what exactly hes trying to hide, but he always jumps to the conclusion that she'll single him out at the mutant of the bunch...like most of his family did.
-
Spike barged in the door after Vamp. "O HAI!" Spike looked around the room and found a chair, he flipped it around and sat down to face everyone before sliding the chair forward to get closer and making an obnoxious screeching sound against the floor. He smiled. "So...who is everyone?"
-
He raised his soda like a goblet towards Spike "Chrono, recording engineer"
-
"Cool, and who's the girl?" Vamp inquired.
-
Spike smiled and waved his hand at Chrono. "Hey, I'm Spike. The token bass kid."
-
"Umm, no seriously. Who's the girl." Vamp said.
-
"Sweet! Everyone's here!" I looked at the gathered group, then motioned to Rowan. "This young lady here is Rowan, our new agent! And here..." I brought the attention to Chrono, "...is Chrono. He will be our recording technical preference!"
-
I looked back at Random and looked up at my headband, seeing if its okay....
-
I jumped. "Oh yeah, Spike! Did you get your amp?" He was talking about going to go get it today for quite awhile now, hence his slight absence earlier today.
-
Random smiled at Rowan approvingly, and grabbed his guitar. He turned it on, and after a quick warm up, proceeded to play "Stairway to Heaven".
-
Rowan smiled elegantly at the new arrivals. "I'm Rowan. I'm looking forward to assisting you all." She stood and walked around greeting them all. She moved the brown hair from her face, her eyes shining with glee.
-
I quirked up. As Random played the Zeppelin classic, I had slowly fallen into trance. The song's fine example of bluesy riffs and transitional undertones massaged my very soul, entering from my fully relaxed ears. I walked over to the couch and had a seat, sprawled alongside Chrono. "Miss Rowan, some things the band does you may one day understand. And when you do, you'll find it quite cherishable... Welcome aboard!"
-
Rowan smiled and sat where she had been perched. She lay back and relaxed, letting out a soft sigh. "Thank you," She said shutting her eyes listening to the cords be played smoothly, and together as if he had never changed fingering.
-
Random instantly changed songs to "My Plague" by Slipknot as he was hit with a hallucination, a reprecution of bad pcp someone snuck into his food many years ago. This time he saw demon smash open door to the room, step in, and proceed to kill Scautty. Random quickly jumped up, put his guitar down carefully and ran into his bedroom, shutting the door behind him screaming, "Demon!"
-
"Um... Is he alright?" She asked. Her eyes flew open and looked around. She gave an odd look and relaxed again. "Do you mind if I smoke? I can go outside." She asked sitting up.
-
Random slowly opened his door, and peeked outside and could see no monster. Sighing he proceeded to step into the living room, and look around carefully. "Did anyone else, ah, see that?" Random asked now realizing it wasn't real.
-
I look up, jittery. I opened my eyes not to find Random sweeping his fingers across the fretboard, but rather standing in an intense posture pointing at the door. I sat up and looked behind me, only finding Spike cooly leaning against the wall nearby. I looked back, "Umm... Random? Are you okay?" I sat completely, focusing my attention on Rowan. "I'm... sorry about that, hehe. Sometimes he has chronic hallucinations. Talk about mood ruiner, huh?" I let out a hrady laugh, halfway to break the awkward, the other because of the funny timing. I calmed myself down again, standing. "Oh, yeah sure. The apartment manager's a jerk about smoking indoors, but I'll join you." I approach Rowan in invitation as we made our way to the door.
-
I smile and jump up and follow him. I pull out a pack of Newports and a silver Zippo. I lit up and puffed out a cloud of smoke. "What causes his hallucinations?" I ask, taking another drag.
-
Random sighed and went back to his guitar. "Smoking, it's so bad for you. Why do people do it?" he asked out loud to himself. Picking his guitar up, he proceeded to play "Invincible" by Muse.
-
"He says something about some PCP incident, but I didn't know it was anything chronic." We made our way to the door, as I looked back. "We'll be right back."
We exited the building, and I held my paw out to her. "May I?" I smoked for the sake of control - It felt good to let a substance calm the mind.
-
Spike watched as Scautty and Rowan left the room. Spike walked over the case he'd brought in and pulled out his bass. He plugged it in and played along with random. "You know, I used to wonder the same thing."
-
Chrono looks at them both playing while talking about PCP "Worse case scenario it may not be the PCP, but it could actually be something chronic caused by it, like an unstable mind?" I went out of the hotel and outside it to see the two members smoking. "I seriously hope you plan on stopping..." he glanced at both of them and walked back, it made him very irritated when people take drugs just to calm down when he couldn't even afford such a "luxury". He took his headband off and went into the room, his eye actually getting some air for once. "No Scautty, you're not seeing things..."
-
"Hello! I'm i nonexistent!" Vamp said as he jumped up and down waving his hands. "Who is the girl?!"
-
The third eye looks at Vamp, changing from red to blue when Chrono stops focusing on Scautty. "If you didn't listen earlier, the girl is Rowan, shes our new Agent..."
-
"Bieng in the band is alot of fun." I puffed out puffs of smoke, keeping a casual atmosphere with a conversation to save the questions she may be wondering. "We all are so the same but different, it's a strange way to bond. Ha, Vamp. He's the youngest, but has the vocals of a god. And there's Random who's been playing guitar for whoever knows. Vamp's very serious in the music area, but is a very good guy. As for me..." I sighed out some smoke. "I don't know. I can play drums, and I keep a tight commitment to the band. I started to think it was some petty project with a bunch of kids, but... It seems to be more than that. Haha!"
I leaned my head back, laughing. I nudged Rowan slightly. "You kids probably don't want to hear about that mushy stuff, do you?"
-
"Oh, okay. I feel stupid."Vamp said.
-
Random was feeling strange, like the feeling you get when things are going right, but overwhelmingly so. After finishing his song, he puts down his guitar and walks to the window. He opens the window and sniffs the air. The air is crisp and clean, but then a breeze blows in, but this is not an ordinary breeze. There is dark intentions on it, something horrible was headed towards them, something, that will threaten their very existence. Random shivers briefly as his eyes begin to darken. Then, a vision comes to him. A man stands, cloaked in black, smoking a cigarette, and laughing heartedly, and smiling. His eyes are shadowed by the hood of black smoke blocks the rest of him. Smoke from his cigarette rises in the shape of serpent, and slithering, hissing, happy, and tricky. The man then says, "They are done for." With that, Random is back to reality, clutching the windowsill, making it crackle with strain. He let's go and massages his hand, sore from the death grip, as he stares out the window.
-
Vamp couldn't resist, as he flicked Random's ear and chuckled from his mild thrill "Hey, quit spacin' out. Your still needed on Earth." he joked. "Anybody want pizza?" he said as he pulled his cellphone out of his pocket.
-
"...But hey, you'll live a life like it one day." I felt like I was talking her ear off. I was more the speaker as she played the listener. I had burned out my cigarette, but refused to have another. "Well, I'll go ahead and check in on the others. You can continue if you want." I patted her shoulder lightly, and then made my way back up the stairs to the room.
-
Random turned around at the shock of having his ear flicked and grabbed Vamp by the throat, momentarily confused. Letting go he said, "Sorry vamp, you... surprised me. I would not like any pizza." He then put a hand on Vamps chest and pushed him gently out of the way and made his way to his room to ponder his vision.
-
I burst into the room, in a joking gleeful way. "Hey!!" ...An awkward pause had bridged my entrance to my next statement. "Um... everything okay?" I looked over to Random, who had made his way into the room he slept in. Then over to Vamp, blankly staring at Random's after-image, stroking his neck. "Weeell... How about dinner? Any special plans being made?" I tried my best as to decimate whatever strain there was in the room to little, as I jumped onto the couch, sprawled and relaxed as I turned up the TV. Sports... But it was atmospheric.
-
Vamp rubbed his throat and turned to Scautty. "I was going to ring us some pizza but if no one wants any then I can make some salad or we can go somewhere." he answered.
-
"Mmm... Pizza." I laughed, standing up, tossing the remote on the couch behind me. "I think pizza will be wonderful. You just sit down and relax. I'll order the usual. It's on me!" I smiled, giving Vamp a hardy slap on the shoulder. "Hey, Random!! The usual?" I yelled through to his room, but with no answer. "Alright then! And Spike's order as usual. I'll go ahead and get deluxes for you and Miss Rowan, alrighty?" I gave Chrono a thumbs up as I trotted past him to get to the phone. I dialed up the number, after browsing the yellow pages for the local number, and made the order. "Hello? Yes... Scautty. Yes, with cash... Okay, I would like..."
-
"Extra chesse and pepperoni for me this time." Vamp shouted from the other room.
-
"Alright! Yeah... Okay, yeah, on that third special order, can I get extra cheese and pepperoni? Yeah thanks. ...Okay, thank you! Yep, thirty minutes. Alright, bye!" I hung up the phone. I looked over to the open room, everyone hacing retreated to their rooms but Chrono. Rowan was still outside, and the other three had gone to their rooms. "Hm. I wonder what's eatin' everyone, huh? Quite the day we've had I guess..." I sat at the counter with the stool, my legs crossed through it. I grabbed another soda, reaching behind me to open the fridge. I popped the top, and began to drink. The guys were acting weird... maybe they aren't fond of our new associates?
-
Vamp dangled by his legs from one of the many exercise bars installed in his room, not for exercise though. He reached for his copy of 'Total Domination: Underground' and put in his PS3 as the game logos rolled through he used his remote to switch to his upside-down TV and played his furry skating game. "How long for pizza?" he shoted from his room.
-
"They said thirty minutes. Then I gotta go pick it up." I looked to Chrono. "Make yourself at home, I'm gonna go to my room real quick."
I entered my room - It's appearance resembled that of a study, with a hint of gamer. Of course everyone had their video game systems of their choice. My Wii and PS3 sat alongside the TV perched up on my dresser, across from my twin size bed. Along the side wall was a desk clattered with papers and documents. I sat at that desk, and pondered more on everyone's mood. It was in utter silence, until I flipped on my computer and then iTunes. I didn't want to make it seem I was being as lifeless as I was, so after iTunes fully started up I blasted it on shuffle. It started out with Once Nothing, then Protest The Hero, and so on... it continued as I jumped to a land on my bed, continuing my thought process, keeping a good eye on the clock for dinner.
-
Vamp's ears twitched and he got the urge. He knew this urge well. He burst through Scautty's door and sang along to 'Vermillion' as it spewed out of the speakers. "She seemed dressed in all the rings of past fatalities. So fragile yet so tedi-" he was interupted by Scautty hurling a pillow at his face. As he hit the floor, he started laughing at Scautty.
-
"Vamp! You... Haha!" I burst into laughter along with him. Maybe I was thinking a bit too deep about this - They were very nice people, and the dilemma would've stoked and shown had it been existant. I went ahead and retrieved my pillow I had used as a projectile and tossed it back up on my bed. I paused at the bridge to Vermillion and grabbed my coat. "The pizzas should be ready pretty soon. I'll be right back, just don't barge in on cranky Random, okay?" I gave Vamp a thumbs up as I escorted him out of my room. "Be right back!" I grabbed my keys and made my way to the car.
-
"Yeah, okay, whatever you say." Vamp said and slugged a pillow back at Scautty just before he got through the door.
-
Chrono closed the door and whacked vamp with another pillow before looking out the peep-hole for the pizza guy. "Don't attack...I ordered some pizza too" he said when his 'senses' noticed Vamp was retuning the pillow attack
-
Random sat in his room books lined the walls of the tiny space, and he searched for specific ones. He knew what the vision meant, but he needed to put some defenses in place to try and prevent it. Pulling books on wiccan spells from the bookshelves, he finds a spell to protect the band from harm. Random went about his room finding the appropriate candles, and necessary ingredients to the spell. He followed the book exactly and when he was done, he already felt better, but he knew it would not be enough. He would have to be vigilant himself, even though he was probably the worst person, do to his delusions, and confused thoughts, but he was the only one that would truly understand it, and accept it. Putting the books away he returned his ritual gear to it's proper place, and returned to the living room.
-
I had just gotten back from the pizza place, carrying in the boxes stacked in one hand. "It's here! oh, Random! Good to see you."
Random had finally emerged from his room. He looked exhausted, but relieved. Chrono was slunk to the wall near the door, sneakily as Vamp looked on to see me with the pizza. "Order up!" I layed out everything in a line, while I myself grabbed two slices of deluxe and slapped them on a paper plate grabbed from a pile alongside the boxes and made my way to the couch.
-
Before anyone could grab any boxes, Chrono searched each of them for the pizzas he ordered. He got both boxes and took them to a card-table, opening the first box and eating the pizza a slice or two at a time.
-
Vamp creeped up behind Chrono and snatched Vamp's pizza from Chrono. "Hey, that's mine! Dude, remember the rule, respect the pizza." he said as he punched him playfully in the arm.
-
Chrono closed the box and tackled vamp to the ground. "I ordered two boxes, now unless you don't value your arms, I suggest you put the pizza slice back where you took it..."
-
Random, rather then being civil, devoured half his pizza in one piece, by sandwiching four together at once, and eating it like that. He laid back and smiled, "that was good, very good. And this time, it didn't pull a Soviet Russia and try to eat me." He laughed at his own joke and smiled, "Hey Vamp, if they screwed up the order, you can have the other half of my Pizza."
-
still pinned to the ground, he lifted the little tab with his finger and saw that he had grabbed the wrong pizza. "Oops, hehe my bad." he chuckled nervously. and wriggled free of Chronos grip. "I'll just get mine. And thanks for offering, Random." he said, as he searched the other pizza boxes until he found his.
-
I continued laughing as the strange commencment partook, over their pizzas. "You guys, there's plenty of pizza!" I continued to eat my slices of pizza, with not so much portion to the bite as the others. As I ate, I had traced back my ponderment about the strange events happening. At some point I caught myself staring blankly, idly holding the pizza to my face, but not making a single movement. It was kind of strage how things had happened today, but I couldn't quite put the peices together. Chrono... Rowan... Do they have a secret? And Random... Maybe his spasms can tie this all in? My brain had sored itself out just thinking about it. Thinking past the laughter and commotion, I continued; At some points continuing to eat, as to not gather suspicion from the others. They were having fun, and I didn't want to ruin that.
-
Vamp aimed and fired. *pop* the pellet hit it's mark and made Scautty jump. "Ha! Told you guys! I knew he would space out enough! You guys owe me 20 bucks each! Yeah!" he laughed until he couldn't breathe. Him, Random, and Chrono had made a bet to see if Vamp could shoot Scautty with his airsoft gun and make him flinch.
-
With my decimated pizza in my lap, and my heart in my throat, I looked over to the mischievious group led by Vamp. "Haha, laugh now you brats!" I threw a decorative pillow that armed the side of the couch right at Vamp, hitting his shoulder. We all laughed and shrugged it off, as they continued their discussion. I reacted by standing, grabbing thirds and fourths, and pacing the room while jumping into the conversation at time to time, to show I wasn't lapsing back to zombification.
-
"Hey, if anyone wants, I can see if I can set us up a gig at the 'Fur-n-Scales' club." Vamp suggested "We might get free drinks." he joked.
-
"Yeah, that would be pretty sweet." Fur-n-Scales Club was a pretty popular place. Landing a gig there would be pretty easy actually. The only problem we would face was the low-town areas we were picking. But we just worked that way, down to earth and with people. We didn't like the whole security guard thing, we wanted to be with the public.
-
"Cool, then maybe we could try out that new song. What do you guy think?" Vamp commented.
-
"Yeah, totally! Which reminds me, Chrono... We'll need you to meet with the recording director and let him know about it. We can get it out as a single and then maybe work on an album!" I got really excited. An album would be a marvelous thing, but still one step at a time.
-
He finished his last box when he heard Scautty, and since his mouth was still full, he gave Scautty a thumbs up.
-
Alright! Miss Rowan can handle the actual setup of the gig, she can meet with the club manager beforehand." I finished my pizza and threw away the plate, sitting back down on the couch.
-
"Cool. Then we can maybe buy some new gear." he said. His ears perked up as he remembered something and ran up the stairs to his room. He came down with a large brown box. "I almost forgot that i had these made. For your veiwing pleasure i present to you guys..." He pulled out several T-shirts with their logo on them "I got band shirts made!" and tossed each of them a shirt.
-
As I was tossed the band shirt, I held it out in front of me to view the amazing logo before me. "Vamp!" I walked over and ruffled his hair. "These are pretty sweet!" I tried mine on, over my T-shirt already equipped. I looked at the splendor, posing. "Awesome!"
-
"Yeah, Random, a while back, told me about a place that makes custom shirts, so I gave them a call and it turns out that the owners son is that lizard guy at that bar that me and Scautty go to every saturday night. You know, Scautty, the one who always has vodka and red bull." Vamp explained as he tossed everyone a T-shirt.
-
Chrono caught the T-Shirt, but quickly tossed it back. "Unless i'm going to be working the sound-board, I'll be refraining from wearing this...shirt" The third eye started to focus on Vamp's eyes in an unnervingly stiff way, then Vamp's fears start flashing in his mind. The fears start getting worse before Chrono realizes what he allowed to happen and covered the eye, breaking the trance. "Sorry, it happens when I space out.."
-
Vamp had suddenly felt light headed. He shook his head and broke his stare from Chrono."God, that was weird, I just felt a chill. Did anyone else feel that? Anyway, yeah."
-
Spike parked in a spot closest to the door and shut off the engine. He stepped out of his car and closed the door before walking into the apartment building. He walked up the stairs and found the door he was looking for, hoping the guys were in there. Spike knocked and waited.
-
Rowan contiued to take drags from her cigarette, listening to Scautty and the others.
-
Vamp pulled a lighter out of his pocket, "Check this out." he throw the Zippo into the air and caught it in a way that made it flick open, spark, and almost burst into flames. "Neat trick, huh?"
-
"Wow, Vamp, you pyromaniac! Haha!" After seeing the cool trick performed, I made my way to the door and opened it. "Ah! What's up Spike!" We did our usual friend handshake as he entered. "We got some pizza, help yourself!"
-
Vamp put some lighter fluid in his paw and set the flame to thf fluid and hurled a fireball at the window. It burst with a loud pop as it made contact. "DUDE! That was awesome!"
-
I jumped at the loud pop, turning to see the window decimatedly in flame, which then dissipated to a dark black mark on the window. "Um... You're cleaning that up."
-
Vamp's ears drooped a little, "Fine, It's just soot."
-
Rowan flicked away her cigarette and walked back inside. She lay on the couch and shut her eyes, listening to everyone around her.
-
Vamp jumped onto the couch next to Rowan "So, your our agent?"
-
She opened her eyes and flashed a smile at him. "Yes I am." She sat up and looked at him happily.
-
"You know something, Rowan." Vamp said "You must have some special fur."
-
"Welcome back, Miss Rowan." I looked over to her, warming smile on hand. "Have a good smoke?" I walked on over to get a soda from the fridge. "Special fur, Vamp?"
-
"Yeah man. She just had a cigarette and dosn't smell like smoke at all." he explained.
-
Rowan smiled. "I guess it just doesn't cling to my fur."
-
I laughed. Vamp notices the most precise of things. "Weeell, most girls smell so pretty, it covers that up." I winked, ruffling the hair on his head.
"There is something we can think of ideas for in the next few months of writing as well..." I always think ahead of myself, but no matter how I speak it, I'm good at patience and taking everything step by step. But this I was still very excited for. "We should think of a music video idea!"
-
"Well, we can have a couple people film the gig and just use some filters and fades." Vamp suggested.
-
Rowan smiled and listened to their discussion.
-
"That's true... We'll need alot of sweet lighting!" I started headbanging to the heavy music I imagined, humming out a metal song.
-
"Also, let's try that Vermillion cover we have been working on. Okay?" he offered.
-
Name: 'Blitz' (Stage name, real name unknown)
Age: 19
Characteristics: Brooding, malevolent, but just an onstage persona as the lead singer of 'Trooper'
Connection to Blank Limit: Same Agent, and likes what he has heard of them so far
Species: Golden Retriever
There was a knock on the door, but just as a formality. Blitz let himself in, the fur around the Golden Retrievers eyes dyed black in spikes extending above and below his eyes. He moved immediately to Rowan, and nodded toward the others. "This them?" Again, no wait for a response. He turned to Vamp and Scautty and nodded. "You guys sound good." He looked utterly impartial, but that was just Blitz being Blitz.
-
"Ha, alright!" I transitioned to a heavier air-drumming. "SHE'S THE ONLY ONE THAT MAKES ME SAAAA--!" I turned to find a Golden Retriever standing at the door. "Oh, uh..." Realizing my pose, I straightened myself out. "Hi there! Haha... Um, how can we help you?" What was with me and the first impressions?
-
"Want a beer?" Vamp asked.
-
The dog shook his head. "Don't drink." He smirks at Scautty and twirls his fingers in a general 'continue' gesture. "Well? Do I have to wait for your next gig to hear you live?"
-
"Ah--Oh!" I straightened my back. "Well, um, do you want to hear us now?" It was sudden, but maybe it was an opporitunity to associate with other bands - The more friends we make, the more touring. "We'll be more than glad to show you a bit... Are you..." I inspected him a little, his small stature but broad personality seeping through his pores. I gasped. "Are you the singer for Trooper?!"
-
"Yup. Call me Blitz. Rowan mentioned you guys. I thought I'd check you out. So you going to keep singing or what?" It seemed a formal presentation was unnecessary.
-
"Wow, I love your band, Blitz! Um, well I'm not the vocalist, hehe. I'm just the drummer. You'll want to talk to this one over here." I motioned to Vamp, standing behind. "You can show Blitz here what you've got, right?" I winked.
-
"Hell, yeah. Maybe you can sing with me?" he replied.
-
"I asked first." The dog smirks more and looks around the room, enjoying the athmosphere, soaking up the energy that seemed to be generated whenever five or six musicians are in the same room.
-
"Hahaaa!" I walked over to Vamp, patting his back hard as to step up to Blitz. "Show him what you got, little guy!"
-
"I'm not little! Get a drum for some beat and hand me that guitar." he said and stood up. He cleared his throat and played a short guitar intro and sang 'Vermillion' perfectly. "There. Happy?"
-
After the song was over, I stood up from the throne, worn out a little. "Woo! That's my bro!" I rested my elbow on his shoulder. "He's pretty good, isn't he?"
-
Blitz nodded, clapping and giving an even wider smirk, though it still barely showed on his muzzle. "Very. Worth the wait."
-
"Hehe, he's got quite the pipes for his age. So, uh, is the band in town, or what?" I was deemed more interested in their band, noting they've broken farther out of underground then us - and they've most likely got connections.
-
I got up, walked to the fridge and got a root beer. As I drank the soda I went to my room to finish my game. "If you need me, I'll be up here."
-
Chrono got up and found the cloth from before and tied it back around his head. He walked over to the couch and sat next to Rowan, the pizza he ate made him forget that she smoked, and she didn't smell like it. "I have some contacts who could help us advertise and find us gigs, if you're interested..." He said, handing her his phone...but then he just blanked out when he looked at her. Must....regain...control... he thought, almost yanking his head away and shaking it.
-
"Nice to see that you made it Blitz." Rowan said from the couch. Rowan looked at him and smiled then looked at the others.
-
Chrono grabs his head in pain as his emotions throw his mind in a flux, images of past feelings bubbling up and vanishing repeatedly. But everytime he tries to slow down his emotional roller coaster, her face shows up again and dashes all of his efforts aside. After the third time he fails, voices get in his head, voices that start ridiculing him and condeming him. He starts breaking into a cold sweat and starts mouthing 'Shut up' every few seconds.
-
Rowan looked at Chrono oddly. "Are you alright?" She asked holding his phone. She sat up and rubbed his back.
-
"Here, take this. It's Tylenol, don't worry." Vamp said as he handed Chrono a small Tylenol.
-
A green light started to glow in the center of the cloth on his head. He couldn't hear anything besides the voices, oh how they angered and scared him at the same time. "shut up" was all that he was saying, pratically begging his memories to stop resurfacing...
-
Rowan looked at him confused. "Uh... Is he alright?" She looked back at Chrono and continued to rub his back. "Hey! You alright?" She asked loudly.
-
The glow was now plainly visible through the cloth, and his sweating stopped, but he still kept that look of mixed anger. He would be in shock if he wasn't still blinking and breathing normally. He faintly heard someone ask him if he was alright, and he only said "My head....hurts"
-
"Here... Take this." She held out some aspirin. She was confused by his expression. She sat still and looked at the others. "Does he do this often?" She asked.
-
"I don't know. We just met him." he answered.
-
He takes the aspirin and slowly gets up. "Thanks..." He went to the kitchen to get a drink for the aspirin, then he suddenly had the impulse to take off the cloth. Which he followed after taking the aspirin.
A multicolored flash goes off in the kitchen, plainly visible to everyone while his center eye is dilated and wildly shook about.
-
"Well he seemed fine until he sat down next to me..." She said looking at the glow. "I've seen weird but this is just a little out there..." She stood and walked to the door. "I'm going to smoke again... I'll be back in a moment." She walked out and lit up, taking a long drag out of the cigarette. She finished it quickly and walked back in. Her breath free of the scent of smoke and her fur smelling sweet. She stood in front of Chrono and crossed her arms. "Do you want your cell back?" She asked pulling it from her back pocket.
-
The glowing stopped when she asked about the cell-phone. The first thing he saw was her, then the eye stoped shaking and focused perfectly on Rowan. In an instant, he saw half of her life, while she saw half of his...along with all of the emotion of the encounters. The eye then closed and Chrono shakily held out his hand "S-Since you don't want the contacts...okay"
-
"I'm gonna go upstairs and get some catnip if anybody wants some." he said as he walked back up to his room.
-
Rowan blinked violently. "What was that?" She clutched his cell phone and sat on the couch and held her head. "No.. the contacts will be good." She opened it and ran through them.
-
He sat down next to her and whispered. "Look, even though I only saw half of it...I seriously doubt thats a good reason to smoke..." he then leaned his head down so the same thing doesn't happen again.
-
(i messaged scautty earlier if I could join and he said sure)
Name: Phil DeBauron
Age: 22
Species: Human
Characteristics: Look at this pic http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/starcraft/images/b/b9/Valkyrie_SC1_HeadAnim1.gif
Relation to Blank Limit: Limo Driver (pimped out limo though)
pulling into the turn and sitting outside the building, Phil decided to mess with the hydraulics he had installed and was making his limo bounce up and down, side to side, and even diagonally, after amusing himself, he got out of the limo and went to the door and knocked on it and waited for a response.
-
Random watched the light explode from the kitchen and decides that it must be the pcp trip again, and ignores it. Out of boredom, he begins to build a card house. He holds fifteen packs of cards and prepares the build.
-
Phil rings the doorbell, and knocks on the door again, hoping someone will let him in.
-
Random is too intranced by his cards to answer the door. Lays them out in a complex pattern of numbers and letters and then sees what it is he'll build, and how it will be destroyed when someone trips into it.
-
Vamp vaulted from the top of the stairs to the floor and answered the door. "Umm...hi. Can I help you?"
-
"Yea I'm here to see a Mr. Scautty about a job for a limo driver?"
-
I looked back from the sickened looking Chrono, and looked over Blitz to find Phil at the door, glancing at the others that were animals unlike himself. "Ah Phil, you know you don't have to call me Mister! Guys, this is a good friend of mine, Phil! We talked over the phone and he's lended his chauffeur job over to the band! Solves the small car problem, haha."
-
"Well don't you want to see your new car then?" Walking away from the front door, he hops in the limo, showing the spinners and the hydraulics. "If you want I can paint the band name on it and color it in for you"
-
"How about our logo?" he said passing Phil a band shirt.
-
"How about our logo?" he said passing Phil a band shirt.
"Hmmm I can make due with this.... just give me some time and i'll have it done, hopefully my friends at the workshop are up to it"
-
"I've been thinking alot about band logos..." Then again, when I DON'T have the band in my mind, I'm asleep. And even then my subconscious teases me with dreams about us. "It would be fun to make it very thematic, like somehow incorporating two wolves and two foxes."
-
"Hmmmm, I think it could work, get inside and have fun with the hydraulics, just be sure NOT to punch the the nitrous"
-
"Haha, whatever you say." I went outside and from afar looked at the limosine that had been decked out beyond formality. Making my way into the driver's seat, I found the control panel for the car's custom functions jacked into an area above the emergency break. I flicked the first one, making the car jump up in the front. "Haha, nice!" I flicked it back to it's defualt setting and climbed out of the car. Making my way back in, I began to explain to the others, "So for this gig... We'll have to have Miss Rowan meet with the owner about it. Blitz, is there anything you wanted to do with your band while you were in town? We can open for you or something." That would have been a dreamboat sailing to the waves of Blitz's band, onward to fame.
-
"it's good enough for me." She said looking at him. Her eyes happy, but her expression shamed.
-
"What's the matter?" Vamp asked.
-
I looked at Rowan, for assurance. Her response met my ears, excuse enough to look away - but her glistening eyes... Secrets swam through the elegant color in her eyes, stricken by the dark pupil that was keeping these secrets stable. "Yeah, you seem... upset."
-
He ignored the others and continued whispering. "I have a question since you saw half of my life...who had it harder?" he said, snickering and then looking at the others. "What, I can't speak with our agent?"
-
I redirected my glance over to Chrono, his insanity filling my vision. I tried my best as to keep my face lacking any suspicion. "...Pardon me." I excused myself away from the two, taking a last glance at Rowan before approaching Vamp and Blitz. "...What's going on?"
-
"You. And I'm fine Scautty. Don't worry." She stood and smiled at Chrono. "I'll be outside if you need me." She nodded and walked outside. Her tail swaying behind her.
-
Phil glancing over and seeing the new wolf, he went to her and offered his hand. "Hello, I'm Phil, your new limo driver"
-
Outwardly, Blitz seemed slightly intrigued, but just as detached as ever as he observed the bands goings-on. Of course, Blitz was just a persona. Surely he felt some form of concern underneath his inner calm, right? Right?
"Limo? Classy. Not terribly subtle, though."
-
Outwardly, Blitz seemed slightly intrigued, but just as detached as ever as he observed the bands goings-on. Of course, Blitz was just a persona. Surely he felt some form of concern underneath his inner calm, right? Right?
"Limo? Classy. Not terribly subtle, though."
"Well it's not subtle, but if you like spinners, nitrous, and hydraulics, then yea this limo can work"
-
"Haha..."
The friends I had recently made were very inticing to keep up with in conversation. But Chrono... He and Rowan have a secret. Would Blitz know about it? I guess in due time I can learn better of it. For now I'll try my best to enjoy the company.
"Subtle has it's ups and downs. Keeps you unnoticeable from fans, but you're now... noticed. I guess what I'm trying to say is it's best to have a certain amount of attention, hahaha!"
-
Rowan lit up her cigarette and took a drag. She sat down and continued to smoke. Her mind raced rapidly. She took another long drag.
-
"...Hey, I'll be right back guys." I made my way through the conversing group, bowing my head down to break any sight of my serious expression.
I made my way outside, and as I met the cool air of afternoon breeze, I saw Rowan expelling smoke from her lips. "Second smoke today?" I pulled out my own box of cigarrettes and joined her, lighting up and letting out a cloud of smoke as I sat next to her. "So do you know something about Chrono we don't? I mean, you don't have to tell us, but if we're going to be associating..."
-
Blitz knew a thing or two about subtlty. Otherwise, he wouldn't be Blitz. His onstage persona let him keep his career and private life seperate. The tabliods all had their theories, but Blitz's reasons were all his own. Even Rowan didn't know who it was under the makeup and the angst. And that suited him just fine. He waved to Scautty as he departed, nodding slightly.
-
Rowan smiled. "third." She flicked away the butt and lit up again. She took a drag and smiled at him. "It's hard to explain." She took another drag.
-
"Hard to explain, or alot to explain?" I took my hit slow, I tried not to smoke too much in a day.
-
Rowan smiled. "hard to explain. It was a bit strange... I don't think I could explain it."
-
"Random lay in a pile of cards touching the ends of them together blocking a light to his eyes. The king of spades and the ace of diamonds for some reason intrigued him. He been doing this for some time when, but decided to stop when the king started to talk to him. Picking up the cards he organizes them quickly, barely looking at the cards and already knowing which deck they belong to.
-
I laughed a little. "Miss Rowan... Many things are hard to explain. May it be the whim of the listener, the situation, or the preacher that is sustained. Do you think it's you who can't explain it or it is something else keeping you from explaining?" I kept a generous look in my eye, looking at her while I wasn't puffing smoke.
-
Random, having cleaned the mess stood with his head against a wall watching a spider crawl across the floor. Leaning down, he offers his hand to the spider as a place to stand, and the spider accepts, scurrying on to his hand. Standing up Random watches the spider move around his hand and wrist. Random walks outside, and sees Rowan and Scautty smoking and talking. There was an air of seriousness around them. So Random tried not interupt as he puts the spider on the ground outside.
-
rowan smiled and laughed. "No, it's just difficult. It's like I saw half of his life... just flash by my eyes," She said taking her last drag.
-
Vamp pulled a catnip joint from an Altoids can and went outside to join the other two. He took a long drag and kept the smoke in his throat for a couple seconds. "Either of you want some?" he said as he offered it.
-
Random watched the spider scurry off, appearing to almost stare blankly at the ground.

Name: Fangs (Stage name, real name unknown)

Fangs was walking down the street towards their training camp, playing with his phone as he hummed one of their own songs. After a minute he tapped in some numbers on the phone and dialed Blitz. "Yo, where've you been? I'm heading to the training camp to practice a bit, mind joining in?"
-
"You saw... Half of his life?" Sight. That reminded me of his behavior afterhe revealed his third eye under the cloth.
-
"Anybody? Scautty, a hit? Rowan?" he said still holding the joint.
-
"Yea... I'm not sure how but he was calm once he looked at me. And I felt memories being brought back. It was so strange." Rowan looked at him and flicked her cigarette away. "I sound crazy," She laughed. "Oh no... I don't do that stuff." Rowan smiled looking at Vamp.
-
"Well, at least it isn't going to kill me." he said as he took a long hit, grinning. "Here, just try. It'll help with the stress." he said, passing the joint to Rowan.
-
Rowan eyed it and grimaced. "One thing I don't do is cave from pressure. But fine..." She took a hit and quickly began coughing. "Oh god that stuff is GROSS!" She laughed.
-
"Well that's because you were tasting it. It's not like a cigarette. Try again, keep the smoke in your throat." he said as he chuckled.
-
"Do I have to?" She took another hit and swayed back and forth a little. "how is this crap fun..." She said with a smile. She dropped her head to the side and shut her eyes and laughed.
-
Spike walked outside and looked around. He spotted Vamp and Rowan and walked over. "Hey guys."
-
"Hey," Rowan smiled and lied back. "The sky is so spinny and pretty." She giggled.
-
"That's how it's fun." he laughed. "Spike, she is such a lightweight." he chuckled, as he hugged his new stoner agent.
-
Rowan giggles and rolled onto her stomach. "You're purple!" She said pointing. "And your fluffy!" She got on her hands and knees and pounced on Vamp. She giggled and flopped on her back again.
-
Spike laughed and pulled out a cigarette. He lit up and blew a couple rings. "This her first time?"
-
"O... O...O" Rowan muttered looking at the smoke rings. "SWEET!" She sat up and got really close to Spike's face. "Can you teach me?" She asked looking at him, her crystal blue eyes glistening from the glaze that covered them.
-
"That's what I'm guessing. Hold this. Take some if you want." he said, passing the joint and hoisting Rowan over his shoulder. "I'm going to put her in the guest room for now."
-
Rowan giggled and swayed her tail back and forth, hitting Vamp in the face now and again. She started to hum the lollipop song.
-
*fwap* "Ah, watch that thing." He set her down on the couch in the guest room and sat next to her.
-
She continued to hum and giggle. "I'm hungry..." She said standing and skipping out to the kitchen.
-
"Who woulda thought." he said rolling his eyes and he got up and followed Rowan.
-
Rowan stood in the kitchen and slumped. "... What should I eat?" She sat on the ground and thought. Her ears twitching and tail flicking about. She lied back and looked at the ceiling. "I think it's starting to wear off..." She said looking at Vamp.
-
"How about the rest of my pizza?" he said as he helped her up.
-
Rowan nodded and smiled. She walked over to the counter and hopped up onto it and sat. Her legs kicking to a steady beat.
-
Vamp passed Rowan the pizza box and took a slice. "Here ya go."
-
"Thanks," She said taking a piece and eating it quickly. "Well that hit the spot." She hopped down and went outside and lit up another cig. I need to break this habit... I'm only slowly killing myself. She thought to herself eying the tobacco stick between her fingers.
-
Chrono was lying on the couch, trying to resist the temptation to leave the room angrily when he smelled marijuana in the room. "I know you like getting high, but some of us get pissed when the room reeks of burnt hemp...." he said with an unnervingly calm face.
-
Rowan sniffed her fur. "Ah... he's right... I don't reek of any substances." She quickly sniffed her breath and smiled. She took another drag and flicked away the half finished cigarette. "As of now... I'm cutting back on smoking." She stood and walked back into the apartment and smiled at Vamp and Chrono.
-
"I was talking about Vamp the druggie....I already know your reason for smoking...and I can help if you want" he got off the couch and put a collar-like band around his head, with a filtered opening for the eye. "Since you already saw this....I guess I can now use both eyes again"
-
Rowan smiled. "care to remind me of the reason... my mind is a tad foggy." She said sitting down next to him. Her tail rested on her thighs.
-
Vamp handed her a stick of gum. "Here, you'd be surprised how much it helps." he said. "And I'm not a druggie, it's catnip not weed."
-
"Do you really want me to tell you while vamp is here?" he looked at her with both eyes, but the filter prevented the feat that happened earlier from re-occouring. "I'd have to start the process again because the information is usually forgotten after an hour..."
-
Rowan took the gum. "Is it that bad?" She asked placing it in her mouth. She looked at Chrono. "We can go somewhere else... I kind of want to know. It's been a while since I've thought about the reason as to why I kill myself slowly." She stood and smiled at Chrono then Vamp. "Thank you for the gum." She said.
-
"Anytime." he replied.
-
"My room is three doors down from here, we can use that" he got up and walked towards Vamp. "I'm sorry for saying you smoked hemp, but to me...it smelled like a burning plant, which is what catnip is..." he said before walking out the door.
-
Spike tried to look innocent, he tucked the small bag of coke deeper into his pocket as he smiled in Chrono's direction. "Yeah, drugs are bad." He stood up and drifted towards the door.
-
"Yeah, okay." he said.
-
Rowan snickered at Spike and walked out the door. "Come on.. I want to get this done with." She said turning to Chrono.
-
He lead her to his apartment, and closed the door behind them while sitting down on a nearby lounge chair. He took the band off of his head, but kept the third eye shut. "All I need is you to look at me and not look away during the entire procedure, It will not feel pleasant at first...but you'll get used to it after a few seconds..."
-
Vamp went to his room, hung from one of the bars, and drifted of to sleep.
-
Spike walked outside and to the back of the building where he stood in the alley. He lit up a cigarette and checked his phone messages. "Steve finally came through." He said to himself before tucking the phone back into his pocket. He stood and watched the stray cats scavenge for edible garbage as he smoked.
-
As Spike stood in the alley a drunken figure approached him "Oh my god that's one of the dudes from blank limit! Hey over here!"
-
Vamp's legs soon fell asleep from the lack of blood. He fell off the bar with a THUD and woke up. "Well, that wasn't long." he said, rubbing the back of his neck.
-
Blitz flipped open his cell phone, and took a look around the room as Fangs spoke. "Well I'm kind of in the middle of... yeah, I'll be there. But I've got a few people you need to meet later." The dog slipped out, giving Rowan a nod as he left.
-
Rowan nodded to Chrono and stood in front of him. Her eyes fixated on him, and nothing else. "I'm ready." She smiled slightly.
-
He let his third eye open up and it now un-filtered, peered into Rowan's mind. "Now a side-effect of this will be that you get some of my memories as well, but your mind will be able to tell the difference". The effects of the peering start to kick in, feeling like someone is digging a hole into your head.
-
Rowan flinched slightly but stayed focused. His memories flooded her mind. The pain quickly wore off as she felt her memories being pulled from her.
-
"Sorry if I pull oh!" the burrowing stopped when he saw Rowan in a mirror. "Sorry, I really can't control what I get to see..." he blushed as he continued burrowing into her memories. (Pm the memories?)
-
"We saw him earlier." I said out of nowhere, dousing my ciggarette into the sidewalk, then got up to walk past Spike. "I don't know what the hell is going on with Miss Rowan and Chrono... But in the meantime I want you not to provoke anything from her. She may be dangerous, an not on her own. Her and Chrono have a certain connection I can't quite connect." I whispered into his ear, "Watch for his third eye..." I leaned back straight up and walked back inside, making my way into the apartment and past the others, making no eye-contact whatsoever.
What was going on with the two? Were we, the band, just part of some plot? Or did our band intertwine their destinies? Whatever it could have been, they were together. And so is the evil from the Eye of Chrono.
-
Rowan laughed slightly. She stayed focus, suppressing her embarrassment. "How much long?" She asked looking at him. She blinked and looked at him again, her eyes glazing over.
((yea))
-
Spike took a deep drag from his cigarette as he tried to comprehend what Scautty was talking about. Hoping to have understood what Scautty meant, he nodded and blew smoke from his nose before pressing the butt out on the bottom of his shoe and flicking it away. He watched as Scautty disappeared through the door. He pulled out the little plastic wrapped ball of power out from his pocket. He carefully untwisted the knot and pressed a small amount to his nose, snorting it. "Oh yeah...that's the good stuff." He wrapped up what was left and put it back in his jacket. "Time to play some low toned tunes." He walked back inside, wiping his nose with his sleeve.
-
I slammed the door behind me, leaving myself to my study of a room. I perched myself into my chair in front of the desk cluttered with notes. All of these ideas flooded the desk as equally to my mind as well, but none of that mattered now.
The strange happenings around here have kind of left me stumped. Then again, I may have exaggerrated. I don't know...
I placed my forehead into my paw pads. My ears seared deeply into the wood of the desk. The only sound I heard was the muffled discussion in the other room.
-
Spike walked in the door to the hallway, planning to go back to the apartment. Instead, he leaned over and pressed his head against the office door. He knocked. "Scautty?"
-
There was a pause. I had to think. Who was it? It was Spike. Okay, no one in on this freaky scam. "Come on in, Spike."
I unrested my head, turning the wheeled chair towards his entering. "Close the door behind you. What's up?"
-
He stopped burrowing when he realized it just came up as normal every-day routines. "I can't seem to get that far into your memory...too much routine is getting in the way, sorry for putting you through that useless procedure" His mohawk actually sagged forward when he looked down, feeling like he really couldn't help.
-
Rowan walked over to him and rubbed his back. "Don't be... I'm sure you can dig deeper if I think about it." She smiled, her eyes warm.
-
Spike opened the door and walked inside, closing the door behind himself. "Hey man, that sounded pretty hectic. I can tell you got something going on in your head about our agent and producer...Wanna talk about it?"
-
He sighs and looks up "Fine, but you'll have to forget your daily routine, it'll make it easier to bypass" he kept the eye closed until she cleared her mind.
-
"I don't think it's my head that's gotten action today..." I stood up and pointed to the door. "They're having some strange conversations about memories. And not only that, Random had an episode with some 'dark figure' when they showed up." Facepaw. "I don't really know what's going on... Or if I'm just overexaggerating."
-
Spike walked over to the desk and pulled up one of the chairs that was in front. He sat down and sighed, placing one leg on the other chair and scratching the white fur under his chin. "Listen, Scautty..." Spike leaned closer. "I don't know what's going one either and I think we should keep it that way. It ain't our business. Why should it matter what's going on between those two anyway?"
-
"Well, I'll stay out of it. I know completely what you mean. But if anything more strange happens around here..." I sniffed while Spike stayed leaned in. I grabbed into his pocket and pulled out a ball. "What is this? You know this stuff is illegal."
-
(This is definatly a rock band, more than half the memebers are on some kind of drug :o ) Chrono held her head up, his gaze kind but un-breaking. "Please don't be nervous or be scared...you've seen enough of my past to know that I'd never do anything with the purpose of harming"
-
Rowan remained still. Her eyes focused on his. "Hurry, before I lose the thought." She concentrated on the memories that were important, rather than her daily routines.
-
(( XD I'm just keeping myself at the older guy who's gotten past all of it. :P ))
-
(says the guy who goes outside to smoke :P)
His third eye opened again and he breezed past all of the routines before arriving at the history behind her 'issues' "....Now while I'm scanning your important memories, you'll probably see some of my own, including a some-what gory one that explains the beauty on my left eye"
-
Spike narrowed his eyes. "I think you and I both know full well what that is. And you and I SHOULD know that I have no regard for the law to control the way I live my life." He snatched it back from Scautty and put it back in his pocket. Spike straightened his face. "...Getting back to the matter at hand here...What do you mean by...strange happenings?" Spike leaned back.
-
Rowan sat and watched at his memories flashed. "How could you do that to yourself? It must have been unbearable." She said, her tone emotionless.
-
(( Haha, at least it's legal. :P ))
"Hm! Just don't get caught with that crap." I wiped my hands on my pants, mocking Spike for his possession of the drug. "Well, Random had some...'visions.' The first was of some dark figure at the door. And you'll never guess who showed up around that time." I switched on iTunes to Mastodon - I didn't want any eavesdropping.
-
"Actually, I felt worse having three eyes, so taking it out actually took some grief away...until my parents saw the blood it left behind" He chuckled while looking through her memories. "Although you don't seem to be doing much better yourself..."
-
"So I've experimented with a lot of different drugs... What else do you see?" She asked, her eyes fixated on his.
-
Spike was intruiged. "Who?"
-
I motioned towards the door. "Mr. Mohawk. I mean, it may be very bad timing on his part, but Random has been very serious about his visions..." I patted my hair down, letting my paw slide down my face. "Well... I really want to think past that. Which I guess I can, now that Blitz showed up earlier. He likes our stuff, dude." I nudged Spike a bit, to lighten my delivery in mood. "We may open for his band, eh?"
-
"Abuse....although nothing what I was put through" He finished burrowing and looked her without using his third eye. "Its going to take awhile, but I know for sure I can get you off drugs for good..."
-
((Where is everyone, I'd like to get involved somewhere.))
-
Spike smiled and looked up into the ceiling light. He looked back at Scautty. "I guess that's good but...who's Blitz? I don't think we've met."

((Scautty and I are in the office in the apartment))
-
(I'm in my room with Rowan, Scautty, Spike, and Vamp are in the room from before...and thats it as far as I know...)
-
Rowan looked at him. "The smoking, the weed, will be a bit hard. As for the needles, coke, and ecstasy... I'm over." She flashed him her arms that showed no needle marks. She smiled and stood. "Thank you for showing you care." She said holding out her hand. She smiled warmly and laughed softly. "I have to ask Blitz about these guys opening for them. Gotta start doin my job... ya know?" She smiled and walked out the door. "I'll catch ya later." She went to the apartment and knocked on the door. "Hello? Scautty... Spike?" She asked looking around only to see Random. "Oh hey." She said wholesomely.
-
"Oh, he's frontman for a band. We share Miss Rowan as an agent--" The knock on the door interrupted, and I heard Rowan's voice. I cautiously opened the door to find her and Random talking. "Oh, is there anything you need, Miss? Hey, Random."
-
Spike remained seated in the office. He leaned back to see around Scautty at the door. "Who is it, Scautt?"
-
Random stood in his room, and looked around blankly. "Where is everyone?" He asked out loud to himself. The door opened and shut, and Random just shouts, "Stop mocking me," as Rowan enters the room.
-
"Oh, it's Miss Rowan and--" I turned to find where Random stood unoccupied. "Oh man. Another hallucination..." I walked past Rowan and peeked out the door. "Random! We're here still, you know!" I brought myself back into the room. "That's another thing you gotta keep up with, Miss Rowan, Chrono. Hehe..." I patted my hair down again. Nervous habit? I decided to go ahead and seat myself in the main room. "Come on out here Spike. Let's make them seem at home."
-
"Uh... yea. Do you know where Blitz went to?" She asked looking around. She smiled at Scautty, her ears perked up. "Are you alright? You seem a bit uneasy? I know I may be your agent... but that doesn't mean I'm not willing to help." Her eyes showed sincerity.
-
Random looked around at the sudden influx of people into the room. Backing away he wasn't sure if he was hallucinating or if people were actually entering the room. "Uhm, Hi everyone!" Random says waving his arms in the air at should height as if he was surprised.
-
"Um... is he alright? He's freaking out again." Rowan said looking at him worriedly.
-
Walking into the house, and chewing on the end of his Grandad's ol' pipe, "What's this guy's problem?"
-
"I'm not freaking out unless you guys are more hallucinations, to be completely honest, I'm not sure anymore because of, ahh screw it. You guys seem real enough," Random shrugs and walks over to them and smiles, "So where have you guys been?"
-
Chrono walks out of his apartment and looks at Random. "Oh, hes just suffering from a Chronic effect of some PCP he took earlier in his life...nothing he won't pass through..."
-
Spike sighed, stood up and walked over to stand next to Scautty. "We've been here all day, dude, where were you?" He asked Random.
-
"The PCP was really bad, so the doctor says it's permanent, and for the record, I wasn't aware I was taking PCP at the time, someone slipped it to me. I've been here there everywhere," Random replies to all statements without breaking.
-
"You sane now, bud?" I looked back over to Rowan. "What? Oh, it's nothing. Just thinking about the gig and everything... Blitz took off by the way. He took a call then excused himself..." I kept a smile up the whole time - and not a plastic one either. Ra dom was kinda getting funny.
-
Rowan held back her laugh. "I'll be right back... I need to make some calls and have a smoke. Anyone who wants to join can." She walked outside and lit a cigarette. She took a short drag and looked at her phone.
-
"Oh I'm very sane! NEVER BEEN MORE SANE IN MY LIFE! YOU'RE THE CRAZY PEOPLE," Random shouts laughing maniacally.
-
Walking outside next to this 'Rowan' character, and lighting his pipe, he begins by saying "Quite a band your working with Miss.....?"
-
Chrono almost had an outburst when he heard Rowan. He went outside and saw Rowan smoking. "I know where you put all of your ciggeretes...I'll give you today off since you're starting, but you're quitting cold-turkey from now on" he said before heading back inside.
-
"Yea. They'll be fun to work with. They have their first gig in a month. So I'm pretty excited." She took another drag and looked at the sidewalk. Rowan looked at Chrono. "Don't you dare... Oh.. it's on!" She shot up, cigarette in her mouth, and ran after Chrono. "Get back here!" She growled. Her voice being heard from the hall.
-
I laughed as Chrono returned from delivering his message. "Not liking her habits, eh?" I patted his back, trying my best to be friendly. "Spike, did you try out your new amp?"
-
Rowan ran in and tackled Chrono. "Don't even think about it! Do you know how hard it is to quit COLD TURKEY!?" She shouted.
-
Spike looked at Scautty. "No. I tried A new amp. Wasn't mine. Steve mixed up on the order so I'm stuck with this one for now. I was going to pick up the one I ordered tomorrow. But I must say, the one I got now ain't half bad either. Want to come with me tomorrow to pick it up?"
-
Random looked at Chrono and said with a dark look in his eyes, "Quiting smoking is one of the hardest things one can do, I don't recommend forcing her to quit cold turkey, it's actually probably the worst thing you can do for her."
-
Giving a sigh and walking back into the house
"Is there anyone here who wont run away or go do something when I have a conversation, or is being a limo driver mean no one cares?'
-
(( I has MSN now. :P ))
"Yeah, totally. Haven't seen the old coot in awhile. It'll be fun seeing him in the spur of the moment, screwing up." I laughed. Then I looked over to Rowan, being strangely zany. "Haha, is this how you act when you're comfortable around new friends?"
-
"Ok seriously guys you suck.... I exist too y'know...."
-
"Fine, twelve steps...nicotine gum, whatever!!, you said you wanted to stop, and I'm trying to help!" He fell on the back of the floor, almost trying to claw the eye out. The one time I try to use this to help, I become the freak again!!
-
(( Scautty to the rescue ))
"Hey Spike. We've got a ride there too." I gave our handy-dandy-limo-driver a pat on the back. "Haha, nice pipe there."
-
Rowan got up and brushed herself off. "No... That's how I act when someone threatens to take away my cigs. And I acknowledge you, don't worry." Rowan looked at the Limo driver. "May I ask your name though?" She asked fixing her shirt. "Don't do that!" She pinned Chrono's arms to the ground. "Yes, I want your help but I can't just give up that easily... It will cause problems." She looked back at the driver.
-
Random looks at the nonexistent Gabag. "Who are you again?"
-
I swiftly covered Random's muzzle. "Hehe. The hallucinations, I tell you..."
-
(( Scautty to the rescue ))
"Hey Spike. We've got a ride there too." I gave our handy-dandy-limo-driver a pat on the back. "Haha, nice pipe there."
"Thanks guys, i thought it was like that other job for that annoying pop star Hannah....
Anyways My name's Phil, and I'll be your chauffeur from now on, just remember, watch the leather, and we wont ave a problem"
-
Random grabs Scautty and flips him over his shoulder, and puts him in a full nelson, "So you want to play grab the muzzle huh?"
-
He looked at Gabag and did a quick surface scan of his thoughts. "Our new limo driver I assume...sorry, its been stressful trying to control this issue with my eye"
-
"OW!! Okay!" I stood up, lifting Random off of the ground, and slamming him against the wall. After a quick yelp, I laughed. "Hehe, sorry. Forgot the doorknob was there."
-
Rowan smiled at Phil. "Nice to meet you. I'm Rowan, the band's agent." Rowan held out her hand to greet him.
-
He looked at Gabag and did a quick surface scan of his thoughts. "Our new limo driver I assume...sorry, its been stressful trying to control this issue with my eye"
"Glad to Meet you" Grabbing her hand and shaking, he goes on to answer Chrono
"No no it's fine.. well anyways if you need me, I'll be outside, smoking, reading, or drinking" Walks outside whistling his favorite tune, speaking of which, he plugs his headphones into his Ipod and listens to it.
-
((And random pulls a gun out of his pocket, lol))
Random grabs Scautty's snout after he let's up, and locks his hands and laughs, "Take that fear of hurting someone!"
-
Chrono groaned when gabag mention 'smoking' "Does everyone in the band but me have an issue with substance abuse?"
-
"Hey I've never smoked anything, I don't do drugs or drink or anything," Random says his hands still locked around Scautty's muzzle.
-
"It's not much fear..." I muffled as I lifted my head back, Random flipping over me and onto the ground behind me, landing on his back. I patted my nose down. "It's more about the fun." I gave the laying down Random a thumbs up.
I looked over to Chrono. "I have the substance, but I don't abuse it."
(( Random shoots Scautty. "Oh noes, I'm hit" but uses a potion and is fine. :D ))
-
Chrono groaned when gabag mention 'smoking' "Does everyone in the band but me have an issue with substance abuse?"
(apparently yes, but then you have a third eye and psychic powers, besides he doesn't smoke often, he just chews on one end)
Leaning back in forth to the rhythm of the song, he starts to pick up the pace as the song goes into a very fast beat.
-
Rowan glared at Chrono. "It's not abuse... It's a terrible addiction. Relax... please." Rowan opened a new pack and hit it in her palm. She took her Zippo and put them in her pocket. "Now... For starters.. we all need to get on the ball. Your first gig in a month. You're first practice is next week, Wednesday at 5:15." She looked at all of the members.
-
((Oh my gun does aggravated damage since you're a dark ages kitsune, and kills you, there is no potion strong enough. BTW, that's a reference to a pencil and paper RPG.))
Random lays on his back and grabs Scautty's hand as he gives him a thumbs up, and hoists himself up on it.
-
Pausing the song and cracking two blue glowsticks, Phil begins to freehand to the song after he replays it, thoughtfully enjoying himself, last time he got beaten up by Hannah's bodyguard.
-
Chrono sighed and got up. "I'll get on tuning the amps to the sound the band needs....then work on having their song recorded..." He could have just walked out when he felt like he just keeps screwing up, but he knew someone wanted his help...
-
After helping Random up, dusting him off, I turned to Rowan. "THat sounds like the plan. FOr now all we can really do is wait... Or depend on what happens next, hoping it's set a good deal with the record company... Hm, nice cigs." I snatched them up and tossed them over to Chrono. "If you want to help her, it's in your hands!"
-
Random jumped over and intercepted the cigarettes.
-
Rowan snatched at Scautty. "What the hell!?" She ran over to Chrono and tried to retrieve her tobacco sticks. "Damn it! Give them back!" She growled. She quickly turns to Random. "Give those to me... please?" She asked looking at him, her arm reaching out to retrieve them.
-
Random walks back over to Rowan and says, "You quit when you're ready."
-
"Thank you." She took them and smiled at Random. She looked at Scautty. "What if I took yours away?" She asked looking at him angrily.
-
I finished laughing. It was fun to pick on her, she knew she needed it somehow. Maybe not neccessarily like this, but hey. We were enjoying ourselves. I left the fate of Rowan's temper behind me as I made my way to my office. "I'm going to bed soon, so whoever's staying over better get settled in!"
-
Walking back in the house, unknowing of the argument, and potential tobacco loss
"Alright who's with me and we take a night on the town, on me?"
-
"excuse me" he says, grabbing the carton, and taking half of the ciggerets and throwing them out of the window before handing them back to Rowan. "Hate me if you want, at least you still have some left.."
(Sensitivity is not something I stress when it comes to quitting bad habits...so yea)
-
Her eyes filled up with tears. "It's not easy... I'll be a nervous wreck!" She said looking at the half empty box. Rowan's ears perked up. "Sounds like fun... but I need to get my rest, maybe another night." She looked at the couch and curled up on it. She yawned and snuggled into the arm of the couch. She looked at Chrono and smiled. "Thank you..."
-
Random smiled at Rowan and said, "No problem, I understand the difficulty of stopping cold turkey, so I'm not going to allow them to do that to you."
-
"Hm!" I watched as Rowan curled up on the couch. I motioned for Chrono as I tossed him a minque blanket, and winked, pointing at Rowan. "Random, it looks like you'll be needing a good night's sleep too. How about you Phil, will you join the sleepover?"
-
Random looks at Scautty and says, "I slept two nights ago, I'm fine for tonight."
-
He smiles at Rowan as he goes to his room and sits down, not getting into a visibly obvious position. You chose to smoke to get away from the abuse, I chose my eye....which is harder to get over? he thought as he drifted into a dream-less sleep.
-
"Night..," She yawned," everyone..." She quickly drifted off to a deep slumber.
-
Random yawned and retired to his room, "That was quite the day." He laid down in bed and was instantly asleep.
-
I lowered my voice to a whisper, as I smiled at the two new members of Blank Limit cuddled up on my couch. (No grossness shall happen. *glare*) Then to the third newest. "Phil, if you're staying, Vamp's room is right up that hall. He's got a bunk bed, just don't touch his guitars and PA." I slowly closed the door as I watched everyone retreat. I made my way for the bed, slipping off my shoes and shutting down iTunes. It was a good day... a confusing one, but it's set in stone to mark the most unique day of Blank Limit I've lived out.
_,.-=-.,_,.-=-.,_,.-=-.,_,.-=-.,_
(( I'm going to bed for real, haha. I'm tired and sunburnt a bit still. :P Good niiiiiiight everyone! ))
-
"Hm!" I watched as Rowan curled up on the couch. I motioned for Chrono as I tossed him a minque blanket, and winked, pointing at Rowan. "Random, it looks like you'll be needing a good night's sleep too. How about you Phil, will you join the sleepover?"
"You better have an xbox to play.., if so i'm in," hearing his whisper, eh walks into the room of which he spoke, and did his best to avoid the warned objects, and he put his luggage on the bed and just slept.
-

Random suddenly had a brilliant idea. He opened the window and climbed down using a rope ladder he had made during a time when he was very bored, and went to the store. He bought six packs of cigarettes and went back to the apartment and climbed up the ladder. Placing the cigarettes, next to his bed, he smiled as he drifted to sleep thinking about how great tomorrow will be.
-
*Majestic voice continued*
"BUT AS OUR HEROES SLEEP ON, A NEW VILLAIN TAKES FORM, AS HANNAH MONTANNA WANTS HER OLD LIMO DRIVER BACK, AND SHE HAS A SET OF KEYS TO DO SO, WHAT WILL WE SEE IN NEXT WEEKS EPISODE OF,
BLANK LIMIT!"
-
((Lol, night everyone!))
-
Fangs nodded as he was talking on the phone with Blitz. "Okay, sure. See ya there then, singer boy." Fangs had made a habitof calling Blitz odd names at times, but it was just for fun. The dragon then got to Trooper´s training joint and startiong checking his gear and making small sound checks.
-
Blitz was there in a matter of moments, giving Fangs a faint smile. "Rowan signed a new band. They don't sound half bad." Since Troopers bassist never seemed to do it, Blitz started tuning the bass, and was soon playing 'Message in a Bottle'. "I wonder how long we could play this before we got boo'ed off stage?" The Police wasn't exactly part of the bands usual setlist.
-
Fangs looked at Blitz as he started playing on the bass. "Not sure. It'd would probably depend on the crowd. Though I'm sure we could pull off a good 10-15 mins if we really wanted." While talking, Fangs had started playing along to the song, jamming a bit and making a few modifications of his own to make the song a tad bit more interesting. It was a thing he did, he like making songs a bit more his own while laying them.
Once finished, Fangs looked up from his keyboard. "Oh yeah, when's our next gig, anyway, you saw Rowan after all?"
-
Spike opened his eyes. He looked around to see Scautty and the rest asleep around him. He stood up off the hard floor and stretched. He manouvered his way around the sleeping band without making a sound and walked into the kitchen. He opened the fridge and dug around, pulling out all the ingredience for a full breakfast. He cracked eggs, fried the bacon and flipped the pancakes. If there was one thing Spike loved as much as his bass, it was cooking. He looked around for the coffee grinder, pulling out the beans. As he made a large pot of coffee, he checked on the food. As he poured himself a cup of Irish Cream, he looked around for the sugar. Giving up on his search, he pulled out the little bag of coke from his jacket pocket and poured in as much as he took with sugar. He smiled, taking the first sip. Spike was hit the the head rush. He found himself a chair and sat down, chuckling. He smelled the food to make sure nothing was burning. As he enjoyed his coffee, in the sweet smelling air of the small kitchen, he waited for the others to wake up and eat.
-
"Saw Rowan. When I left, she was... preoccupied. I'll call her later." He switched to the bassline of the song the band was named for, 'The Trooper'.
-
"Right, okay." Fangs then listened to the what Blitz started playing on the bass next and joined in. "Good choice." He smiled and kept hitting the keys in time with the bass.
-
Rowan stretched on the couch and looked at her phone. "Crap!" She stood and ran out the door. She went down to a poster shop, and opened the door. A bell rang and a man came to her. "Rowan I presume?" He asked looking at her, smiling. "Yes, sorry I'm late." Rowan followed the man to the back. "You're one of my best customers. What can I do for you today? A Trooper poster?" He asked sitting down at a computer. "Actually, no. I need about 100 posters for the band Blank Limit." Rowan said leaning down to look at the screen. "Well what kind of music do they play? Do you know what they want the poster to look like?" Rowan paused for a moment and smiled. "I'll give them a call. But for now, I want their name to look fantastic. The font needs to be eye catching." Rowan touched the screen of her phone and called Scautty. "Come on pick up." The phone kept ringing.
-
I was woken up by a loud humming; my phone almost vibrated off of the bedside table before I caught it up and checked who was calling. Miss Rowan? I unlocked my phone an answered. "Hello...?" My voice was still deep, rested. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, getting used to the sun flowing into the room.
-
"Hi, sorry didn't mean to wake you. But I am at a poster shop getting ready to order some posters. I was curious as to what you had in mind for them to look like." She said hoping he could help. She looked at the man and smiled.
-
Chrono woke up when his alram went off for the tenth time. When he opened his eyes, he thought he could make out someone over him with a sword in their hands, poised to run it through his chest. But when he kicked, he only met empty space and realized his eyes were once again messing with his head, keeping him alert to the irony that some people are convinced that he is pure evil...
He sighed and rolled off his bed before getting up and straightening out his mohawk and putting the filter band on. He walked out the door and looked into the band's room to find no Rowan. "I guess she went to go do her buisness as an agent?"
-
Soon enough it was morning. Or at least Blitz finally realized it was morning. "So. Let's go see what Rowans up to."
-
Fangs nodded, starting to shut off his two keyboards and the mic he had been using. "Sure thing. You have any idea where to find her?" The dragon then made his way beside Blitz, playfully placing his head on the canines shoulder for a bit as he yawned. "My, did we play all night? Thought it was only a couple of hours."
-
Rowan looked through the many different posters. "How about something like this," the man said pointing to one. The poster was black and purple, fire surrounding the text. "I mean you could put the pictures of the members in the back as well." Rowan shrugged. "I have no clue. Will you be in tomorrow?" She asked looking at him. "I will come in extra early. I just need these posters." She pleaded. "Alright... Because I like ya." The man said with a smile. "Oh thank you so much Tim." She hugged him and walked out. She looked at her phone. "That took longer than expected. I wonder what Blitz is up to." She texted Blitz. "Hey, so what do you think of Blank Limit?" She asked.
-
"Looks like it." He jumped when his pocket suddenly vibrated, and he read Rowans text. "Why doesn't she just call me?" 'They seem like a good group. Wonder how they sound live. What are you up to?' "Hey, I'm going to go get drinks. Wanna tag along?"
-
Rowan's phone beeped. 'just got back from the poster place. You should listen to one of their practices then. What are your plans for today?' she put her phone away and opened the door to her black hummer. She placed on her sunglasses and started the H2. Roaring to life, she drove down the road. She saw a pub and decided to stop in. "It's been a while since I've had a cold beer." She sat at the bar and took out her cigarettes. "Mind if I smoke?" She asked the bartender. "No, go ahead miss." He said smiling. "I'll have a lager please." She lit up her cigarette and took a drag.
-
Fangs shrugged. "No idea... Maybe she thought you were sleeping?" He then went silent for a bit, lost in his own thoughts before snapping out of it by the clicking of Blitz writing a message back to Rowan. "Sure I'll tag along. We need some more time together without the rest of the band around you and I, there hasn't really been much of it since this band rumba hit the skies. Shall we then?" Fangs motioned towards the door and slowly started walking as he grabbed his coat.
-
"Umm... " I rubbed my face of the morning nasties. "Whatever you think makes us look... unique. Scehdule an appointment, we can get a good photo shot of us. To put on the poster I mean." I stood up and walked around, merely in my boxer shorts and T-shirt. "Um... yeah, just set up a time and we can get a good photo in for him to place the text over or something."
I listened into the other room, hearing rustling. I decided to go ahead and step out to find Chrono waking up. "Hey, good morning, dude. I'm on the phone with Miss Rowan, she's at the apparel shop."
-
Rowan looked at her phone and called Scautty back. "Hey, How about you and I go to the poster place tomorrow to pick out the design?" She asked taking another drag.
-
Blitz nodded, grabbing a black tankers jacket he had picked up from a military surplus store just to go out in. He was, after all, supposed to be the dark voice behind Trooper. Rowans H2 stood out like a sore thumb in front of a nearby pub, so he ducked inside. Rowan was fairly conspicuous as well, so he sat beside her and ordered what he always did. Coke, no ice.
-
"Oh, uh, yeah sure. Where are you? Chrono was asking about you." I excused myself from the living room as I slipped on a pair of dark jeans and the Boreas "Protest The Hero" shirt. I put the phone on speaker and tossed it on the bed.
-
Rowan smiled. "I don't stick out do I?" She asked looking at her Black short shorts and red strapless top. She took a sip of her lager and took a long drag. She tapped the ashes into the ash dish. "So how is the band? It's been a while since I've seen them all." She looked at Blitz, her eyes half shut from tiredness.
-
Fangs sat down beside Blitz, ordering some lemonade for himself too, because he wasn't one to drink, specially not this early in the morning. One they had both gotten their drinks, Fangs sneakily took a sip of Blitz's coke while he wasn't looking before settling for his own and answering before Blitz to Rowan. "Pretty good, not sure what half of the guys have been up to last night, but I'm sure they're able to behave during the time off they have."
-
"Miss Rowan? Hello? Is that Blitz I hear?"
I slipped on my shoes and patted down my wrinkled shirt - Protest The Hero was too amazing to be wrinkled. Maybe I should fold my clothes before putting them in the dresser.
-
"Yea. We're at the pub." She said to Scautty. "Yea behaving..." She said laughing to Fangs.
-
Blitz motioned to the cigarette, and the nearly empty pub. "Not many people are passivly trying to kill themselves this early." He missed Fangs steal a sip from his coke, but he wouldn't have cared much even if he had.
-
"Oh, okay. I'll be down in a bit. We can have a talk with Blitz and Trooper. Alrighty, bye." I ended the call, and grabbed my light jacket and headed out.
I was about to turn the key to open the car, when I stopped. Maybe this time I should walk... So, I ejected the key and placed it in my pocket, making my way down the sidewalk. I don't think I've done anything... healthy... For awhile now. So here was my chance to see the toll I've taken on it.
It wasn't all too bad, I heaved breaths a bit, but I'd have to blame the smokes. I was about halfway to the pub...
-
Yawning, and rolling out of his bunk with a hard 'THUD' Phil got out of Vamp's room in a haze, almost falling down the stairs twice, he saluted Scautty and took a seat on the couch.
-
Considering he can't find any of the guitar or bass players, Chrono went off the pub for some chicken wings. When he got there, he saw Rowan with two other guys, but tried not to think much of it as he sat down and waited for a waitress to hand him a menu since he didn't see one in the front.
-
Fangs softly nudged Blitz's side at his remark. "Loosen up a bit, will you? You really do live up to your reputation, you know that?" He then smirked and sipped at his own lemonade again. But it was true, Blitz had always made himself look all dark and making remarks of pretty much. But that was how he'd wanted his stage character to be like, and it didn't really bother the bandmembers, or the band in itself. It was... Fitting for the canine singer.
-
Rowan laughed. "I know... I'm trying to break the habit." She put out the cigarette and spotted Chrono. "I'll be right back." She walked over to him and sat in the booth with him. "Hey."
-
He gave her a smile before seeing the waitress coming up and noticing what she thought was a really wierd head-band with a rather unique gem in it. "Uh...heres your menu, and exactly where did you get that gem?" His eye looked up and he smiled. "Its actually a gem I crafted out of a ruby...but that doesn't matter, thanks for the menu"
-
I had finally reached the pub, my feet sore a little... I needed to get out more.
I was about to wave down Rowan before I saw Chrono sitting at a table. "Hey, Chrono... What's up?" I sat myself down across from him. "Aren't you going to go see Miss Rowan?"
The waitress offered me a menu, but I denied it away, only asking for Dr. Pepper.
-
"What are you talking about, why would I go to see her if shes already next to me?" When the waitress came back and asked for a drink, he only asked for a root-beer and she left to go get it.
-
Rowan laughed. "Hey Scautty. So I want you to check out the posters at the shop. We can go there after we're done here. ok?" She said looking at him.
-
"Sounds good, Miss! Heya Blitz!" I waved to them. I nuded to Chrono. "Aren't you gonna say hi?"
-
He only growled before pushing Scautty away with his foot. "So, hows day one of no-smoking going?"
-
I laughed at his question, as the waitress placed the drinks on the counter, and was thanked. "Are you saying she started today on that?"
-
"Uh... I had one already." Rowan said looking down. She got up quickly, making sure she was out of reach. She went to the counter and grabbed her lager and the ash tray and dumped the ash in the trash.
-
I chugged some of the soda, placing it back down to look at the others. I looked on to see Chrono looking over to Rowan. "Miss Rowan, did you find anything interesting earlier today at the shop?"
-
He only laughed when he thought of her reaction when he said this "Well, it just means you can only have two more smokes for the rest of the day..."
-
She nodded and smiled. "uh... no but I had an Idea. We can get T-shirts, sweat shirts, hats. It's not a bad idea... It makes a good sale," She said drinking her lager.
-
"Hm... sounds good. We should keep it at an underground budget, though. Not alot of people around here know us. Once we move out in four months, to start recording, we can post up any leftover apparrel via internet." I blew bubbles into my soda, letting the ice cubes dance around as they were tickled by the air.
-
Rowan nodded, "I know how it works... Don't worry." She smiled. "Chrono, Come sit over here." She waved him over.
-
"Haha, I thought you did, boss." As Chrono was motioned to move, I moved myself as well, except over to Blitz's area. "So who's your friend? Is he in the band?"
-
Rowan smiled. "That's fangs." She looked at Chrono then at her lager.
-
He took the root-beer and walked over to Rowan. "I honestly wish I could take drugs sometimes, but as you saw yesterday....a lack of control is not exactly the best thing for me"
-
"Why hello there, Fangs! I'm Scautty!" We shook paws, then I plowed through drinking the glass of soda again.
-
Rowan nodded and took out another cigarette and lit it. "They aren't worth the trouble." She took a quick drag.
-
"Most definitely not." I leaned forward to include myself. "Cigarettes are probably the safest out there. Everything else ruins your image and mentality... That's why I don't drink." I lifted my drink up. "Also, I'm not a fan of vomitting after every party, haha."
-
Chrono looked at Scautty. "Actually, If I had to take any drug, it would be the alchohol in a beer....or maybe a sip of wine, not carbon-daioxide and more than half-million chemicals all stuffed into one little cylinder..."
-
Rowan laughed and drank the rest of her lager. "Drinking is fun... especially when you can hold it well. And as for smoking... It's definitely one of the less serious ones... although they are just as bad."
-
"Haha, then again, who's more innocent? The smoker or the drinker?" I took another sip of the soda. "We can't really get on anyone for having such relativity. I mean, you DON'T drink, but your intentions are pretty close."
-
"I drink and smoke... And I look fine. I mean sure drinking can mess you up and make you do stupid things... but you learn from those mistakes." She flicked the half smoke cigarette into the ash tray. "And smoking slowly kills you..." She pushed the tray away and ordered a water with lemon.
-
"One more..." he said before taking a drink of his root-beer.
-
She nodded. "I know..."
-
"Haha, everything is slowly killing us. We're all dying, once you think about it. But moving on from the cursed talk..." I shoved away the empty glass, the ice slowly melting. "It's not a matter of how you wear out life, it's how you live it while you still have it."
-
"Cheers to that," Rowan said lifting her glass slightly.
-
"Haha, yep!" I gave her a thumbs up.
The waitress placed a pre-meal platter of bread by the loaf in fron of us. "Oh, cool, bread!" I sliced off the heel, and started nibbling on that.
-
Rowan laughed and cut a slice of bread. She took a sip of the water and ate the bread.
-
Vamp walked into the room in a black denim jacket and black tripp pants. He had massive bed head and looked as if he had the hangover from hell. " 'Sup?" is all he said as he sat next to the other three and had a gin and tonic.
-
"Dude, Vamp! How's it been!" I mocked his half-consciousness by headlocking him and ruffling his bed head. A few seconds of this and I released him. "Havin' a drink this early, man?"
-
"Really early or really, really late? You tell me." he replied.
-
Fangs sat beside Blitz, observing the group of furs that have gathered there now since they'd arrived. What an odd bunch, he thought as he looked at them. Wonder if they're any good when put up to the challenge of performing on stage? He sat and wondered about those things as he looked at the group talk and have fun amongst themselves.
-
"Haha, however you want to put it, bro!" I sat back down, easing my laughter. "So, uh, Fangs is it? Are you part of Trooper?"
-
Fangs nodded as he turned to look at Scautty. "Yeah, keys and backing vocals, that's my specialty. Why'd you ask?"
-
"Oh, keys? First instrument to get me so much into the music industry! Very nice!" I smiled, then saw the waitress refilled my Dr. Pepper, so I started gulping that down again.
-
Fangs smiled. "Thanks." He then took another sip of his lemonade and checked the clock before turning back to look at Scautty. "You're newcomers to the music business as a band so far, am I correct?"
-
Vamp finished his drink and grabbed a slice of bread. "Is anyone even curious?" he asked, pointing to himself.
-
"Ha! I'd say newer to the record deal, actually." I drank some more soda. "We've been together for quite awhile. Vamp, my younger brother," I hit his back, "and I started it out as an experiment, but picked up Spike and Random along the way. They turned out to be better bass and guitar players, so I stuck to drums. But... Now with an agent and recording producer under our wing, I think we can further ourselves." I smiled, looking at Fangs. "How's your band been doing? You here to tour or to see your agent?"
-
Fangs nodded again as he listened to Scautty talk, not saying anything himself before the other had finished. "A bit of both I dare say. Blitz here..." The dragon tapped the canine beside him on the shoulder. "...thought that we could catch our agent here and check with a tour at the same time. Need to make checks of where we're going and all that stuff beforehand, you know?"
-
Spike drove down to Steve's to pick up his amp. Only to find out it was at the docks in the neighboring city. He groaned. The drive would be long. He texted Scautty.
"Yo Scautt, picking up my new gear, won't be back till monday."
((Seriously, I wont be back till monday XD, I'm at the cottage :P))
-
"Hehe, I guess I know what you mean. Oh!" I flipped my phone open my phone. "Aw man. Spike won't be back for awhile." I clicked the buttons in reply, and continued talking to Fangs. "Well, we were planning a gig pretty soon, but Miss Rowan's setting us up with good apparrel to concession off when the time comes." I smiled over at Rowan. "So, uh... Did you want to play with us? We can open for you guys, it would be pretty sweet." I tried my best to sound mature, and not so much 'beat around the bush.'
Alright dude. Hey, I'm going to see about hooking up with Trooper in opening for them in next month's gig. =)
-
"See ya Spike." he said as he raised his now empty glass.
-
Fangs chuckled as he listened to Scautty's question. "We'll see. We'll check with the rest of the band, and then Rowan's got a word in it as well, in case she'd happen to have someone else in mind already. So I can't give you a definite answer at the moment." He then yawned before continuing. "Well, it was nice meeting you but I need to get going now. Long day ahead and I need to go take a nap because I was up practicing all night." He then stood up after having said that, turning to Blitz before leaving. "I'm heading back to the hotel, so you know where you'll find me." Fangs then left with a small wave to the group after him, making his way to the hotel where he was staying.
((And now I'm gonna hit the bed. -.-))
-
"Alright, nice meeting you Fangs!" I saw off the keyboardist, and I myself stood up. "I'm gonna head off as well. I have some paperwork to tend to. You guys just come on over, I'll have the front door unlocked. Not too much to drink Vamp, okay?" I punched Vamp's shoulder playfully and made my way for the door, passing the waitress a $10. I pulled out a cigarrette and lit it up once I got outside. Here's my first one for today... According to Chrono's system. I continued on walking back to the apartment. I really liked everything I saw along the way back... It reminded me of home. But bands can't ever have a permanent home anymore... Just the friends they make.
-
Vamp follow Scautty outside and smoothly grabbed the cigarette from his mouth. Before Scautty could say anything, Vamp ripped the burning stick in two. "None for you today." he said and tossed him a stick of gum.
-
"None at all today?" I didn't fight for it back, it was pointless to. I slowly unwrapped the gum and looked at it before popping it into my mouth. "Do you really have a problem with my smoking?" I continued trodding on, Vamp alongside me.
-
"Hey, I don't want to outlive you by to long. Catnip isn't going to kill me, but the way you smoke, tobacco will definetly do you in. It's been proven." he answered.
-
"Haha, okay Mr. Statistics. I'll quit pretty soon. I never get addicted to things..." We walked up the sidewalk, as I thought about Vamp's remarks. "So how do you like Miss Rowan and Chrono so far, huh?"
(( Did you see Lone_Wolf's avatar? ))
-
"Rowan's cool but to be frank, that eye creeps me out." he replied.
-
"Haha, yeah, we had an episode with that..." I kept smacking the gum, letting it derive me of my cigarrettes in my pocket. I wanted to keep Vamp proud of me. "And how about Trooper? We just met two of those guys in there, pretty cool, eh?"
-
Vamp halted. "Okay, as your brother i sense these things, hand them over." he held out his hand for the pack of cigarettes. "I'll hold onto them for now."
-
"Fine, fine. It's not like I can sneak 'em right in front of you." I tossed him the pack.
-
"Can't be to safe with you." he joked.
-
"You are SO one to talk! Haha!" We laughed together, almost making our way to have the apartment in sight. "Miss Rowan's got us all hooked up for posters and other apparrel. But we'll need a good band photo. Which side's your good side?" I made a box with my fingers, acting like I was snapping pictures.
-
"Buddy, I'm all good side." he said posing like Captain Morgan.
-
I laughed, nudging him out of his heroic pose. "You weirdo. I think we'll be fine at the shoot, as long as Random lays off whatever he's on, haha. Spike comes back monday from picking up equipment, so we can do it anytime beyond that."
(( I've seen too much Captain Morgan this week! XD My friend did that during a photo shoot. Ironically for our "band." ))
-
"Alright, sounds like a plan." he said.
-
"Alright, cool." We made it into the building, and up the stairs back into the apartment. "Hm, no one else is here. Except Phil. What do you want to do?" I perched myself on the couch, kneeling balled up, resting my chin on my knees.
-
"I dunno, wanna play beer pong?" he suggested.
-
"Haha, where's the ping pong table?" I noted the room, in it's entirety - small. "And you know I don't drink. You could always ask Phil, who knows what he does."
-
"That's okay, we can use Dr. Pepper." he said grinning as he pulled the ping-pong table out of the closet.
-
"Oh my, where did you--" I just remembered Random the other day, talking about buying a "table." That guy can supise me sometimes.
"Well, I guess that's fine with me. You set up, I'll start up iTunes!" I jumped into my room, and flipped on iTunes. I pressed random and hovered the mouse arrow over my list of artists. "Any song in mind?" I yelled to Vamp in the other room.
-
"Flip on 'Bat Contry'." he shouted.
-
"Alrighty!" I scrolled to the top and double-clicked Avenged Sevenfold. I started up the song, and as it blasted, I went back into the other room, Vamp halfway done setting up the table. "Where's the other stuff?"
-
"Look in the bag in my room." he shouted up. "the cups and balls should be there."
-
"Hehe, the cups and the what?" I awaited for Vamp to play out the immature joke.
-
"The balls. They should be in my sack." he shouted, before he realised his mistake.
-
I hysterically laughed, stumbling up the stairs to go get the props. I came back, sheepishly smiling at Vamp. "Here's ya go! Have you carried these before?" :P
-
"Okay, now think, who's more stupid, the guy who says his balls are in the sack, or the guy who heard him say that, and still goes to get them?" he shouted back.
-
"I believe it's the one who asked to get them. I thought you would already have them in the first place... ;) "
I grabbed a paddle, and walked over o the other side, 2 liter of Dr. Pepper on the counter at the ready.
-
"What's with the paddle? We're going to bounce the balls." he asked.
-
"Oh. Haha, I know nothing of these drunkard games." I tossed it aside.
-
"Okay, watch." Vamp said. He bounced the ball on the table and it landed in the cup of soda.
(Brb, gonna eat dinner. maybe 15 min.)
-
((Okay))
"Ah, a use of Geometry?" I did the same thing, it landing in the cup on Vamp's side. "What now?"
-
"This." he grinned. He went halfway up the stairs and tossed at the wall. the ball bounced of the wall, onto a coffee table, on the table and into the cup. "Trick shots." he smiled.
-
"Oh my." I went up the stairs. I tossed it on the wall, off the coffee table, out the window. "Umm... Hehe, what does that get me?"
-
"Not having to drink the soda." he replied.
-
"Oh, okay, your turn!" It was kinda fun. Were you aiming to not drink?
-
"Okay." he bounced the ball from halfway across the room and nailed the cup. "This is getting boring. Wanna do something else? Like wrestle?"
-
"Wrestle?" I looked around. "Not much room..." I flipped open my phone and texted Rowan.
Let me know when you're going to leave - I'll be at the apartment but I'll meet you at the store with Vamp when you're ready.
I closed my phone, looking at Vamp. "What games have you got?"
-
"Well, I just got 'Bloody Roar IV' that anthro-fighter game. We could play that." Vamp suggested.
-
"We can play that while we wait for an answer from Miss Rowan. I just texted her."
We went on in and started playing it. He beat me ALOT until I got the controls down. And he still beat me.

(( Going to bed. Didn't have a very good day today. :( ))
-
Random sits curled up in a ball in his room, rocking back and forth. The lights are off, the blinds shut, darkness envelops the room. He repeats a phrase over and over to himself, "Can't get out of bed."
-
He unloaded the car as he smoked. Spike lifted the large boxes off the bed of his truck and onto the cement in the parking lot outside the apartment. The boxes, stacked high, were balanced in Spike's arms as he carried them through the door into the apartment. "This is going to be awesome." He said to himself as he walked into the elevator to the band's apartment room.
-
Random stares into the corner of his room where a spider crawls along the wall. It slowly weaves a web to the ceiling, attempting to catch it's prey.
-
Spike walked down the hallway and tripped over his own shoe lace. The boxes went up in the air only to be caught by Spike's back before hitting the floor. "Ooof." Spike groaned on the floor, facedown. He turned his head to see the door next to him, belonging to Random. He stood up and restacked the boxes in the hallway against the wall. He went to Random's door and knocked.
-
Knocking echoes through Random's room. He jumped and landed on the windowsill, just above his bed. "Uh who is it?" Random calls from his perch.
-
"Spike." He replied.
-
Rowan took out a cigarette and lit it. "My last one." She walked down the sidewalk. A burst of smoke pushed from her mouth as she flicked the cigarette away. "I hope Chrono can actually help..." She walked to her hummer and drove back to the apartment.
-
Chrono woke up in a car that was currently moving, and realized the driver was Rowan. "Uh...how did I get in here....?"
(since I felt like being unexplainable :3)
-
Rowan slammed on the brakes. "This is my Hummer. I should be asking you!" She looked at him and waited for an explanation.
-
"I dunno...I really can't remember how I got in here...but I went to sleep in the back seat...was your car unlocked before you got in?" he asked as he got upright in her hummer.
-
"Uh... yea..." She shook her head. "You shouldn't climb into random cars... You're lucky it was my hummer."
-
He thought for a moment. "That must be why I climbed into it before passing out....because I still remember some of your memories" he smiled back at her "So, you can't have anymore smokes, am I right?"
-
"Correct..." She pulled back onto the road and continued driving. "Why don't you hop into the passenger seat, so I can actually talk to you."
-
He felt like being a playful jerk rather than an actual jerk at the moment. "But you're talking to me right now...." he didn't attempt to find her answer on his own because he quickly hopped into the passenger seat. "This is also why I'm against alchohol, because I don't want you to end up like me..."
-
"I'm fine..." She looked at her rear view mirror quickly then back at the road. "So how are you?"
-
He sighed and leaned on the dashboard. "I feel slightly better knowing that at least you arn't kicking me out of the car and calling me a monster just because I have this..." he quickly glanced at the wrapped up eye before looking back at Rowan.
-
"I know what it can do... I've witnessed it. I have no reason to call you a monster." She smiled and continued to focus on the road. "I just don't understand why you'd get rid of your normal eye and just scratch that one out..."
-
He chuckled as he put his claws and put them directly on the eye, without making a single bend or dent in the shape. "I really can't do anything to the eye....I tried clawing it out once...my hands just ached from over-exertion..."
-
Rowan laughed. "Ah... I see." A moment of silence fell as she looked at the road. She switched on the radio to hear that a band member of one of her older bands died. "Aww... poor Jacqui. I wonder how they're holding up..." She turned off the radio and sighed.
-
Giving up at knocking on Random's door, Spike carried the boxes over to the sound room where he unpacked and assembled. He took a step back, awestruck by the Line 6 Stack, he was now about to play on. Spike's left eye twitched and he foamed at the mouth a little as he rushed to get his bass, a crazed look and a wild laugh was made.
-
"Band friends?" Chrono asked, his eyes not really focusing on anything in particular.
-
If Rowan were listening, she would hear her phone ringing. It was Blitz, who it just so happened was listening to the radio too. "You hear about Jacqui? It's a shame."
-
Rowan answered. "Yea I know... I'm sure we'll be receiving a funeral invite," She said her voice sad. She focused on the road, the road winding on and on. "I have to go, I'll call you when I'm not driving." And with the she hung up. Rowan looked at Chrono. "Yea... an old friend."
-
I slowly sat up from the floor I slept on... Ow, my back...
My mouth was dry and tastless, a result of sleeping with your mouth open. I looked at the controller in front of me. I must have passed out while playing that game... I slowly stood up, wobbly and adjusting my vision. As I made my way to the main room I realized how hungry I was, and began to feel weak. I slowly opened the fridge, slouching, and found the closest thing I could grab: a jar of pickles. I loathed pickles but needed something.
I fell onto my knees as I turned to the counter, mounting the jar onto it, gripping the lid. No matter how much I tried I couldn't wedge the jar open. Finally, the jar in my vision blurred to an abstract anomity, and then to black.
-
He could only chuckle at the irony. "I wish I had friends...but not if it means they die before I do..."
-
"She had an addiction. I'm sure that's what caused her death..." Rowan started onto the dark street. "God... I think I'm lost. I don't remember the Apartment being this far away."
-
Chrono looked out the window and started to panic. "We need to get off this street...now"
-
Spike walked into the room to find Scautty on the floor. He wore shades to hide his bloodshot eyes. He nudged Scautty with his foot. "Hey...Scautty...Scautty, you still alive?"
-
Rowan nodded and turned the wheel. The large black hummer whipped around and sped down the street as she hit the gas. "What's wrong?" She asked looking at him.
-
"That street....people who live on that street, they know and loathe me...they throw rocks at me everytime I pass through, even when I avoid contact and try to keep to myself..."
-
"Alright." Rowan decided to take the turnpike. "Let's go to the beach or something..." She said merging off the ramp.
-
I slowly woke up... I realized Spike above me, lazily in effort to bring me back to life. "Hey..." He was wearing his sunglasses... I knew what that meant. I slowly stood up again, this time merely grabbing the pickle jar and smashing it onto the counter. Through the glass and blood I picked up a decimated pickle and began eating it, making my way to my room.
I slammed the door behind me. I continued eating the disgusting excuse for food. As I got to the end, I tossed it at the wall, starting to flow the room with my cursing.
After a good yell, I plopped onto the bed. This band was slowly dissipating together under drugs... My escape being my sudden fits. I wasn't sure if the spark for this one was Spike's condition, Random's situation, or just the problems of my own...
I blankly stared at my bloodied paw... Every single strand of hair stained by my hatred in material.
-
Spike remained frozen where he stood after what had just occured. "...Whoa..." He walked over to Scautty's door. "Scautty? Dude, wanna talk about something?"
-
"... Just do me a favor." I remained staring at my paw. At some point it may get infected...
-
Spike looked puzzled. "...Yeah?"
-
"I want you to get my cigarrettes out of Vamp's room..."
I clenched the sheets, darkening them with the pulsating blood.
"... and throw them out the window." I stood up, looking in the mirror. My anger led me to have blood on my face, from the flailing of my bloodied arm. "You better not keep them to yourself, or else..." I fell back onto the bed, letting off plenty of heat in a long awaited sigh.
-
Spike's eyes wandered as he tried to figure out a reason why Scautty would send him on a mission. "Umm...Why? Dude, listen, can't we just talk?!"
-
((Hey guys sorry I've been gone so much :( been at a friends house a lot recently. So since I've been gone for 6 pages, can someone update me on anything that happened?))
-
"No! We CAN'T talk! Now just do it!" More cursing punctuated my sentence, as a heat rose into my face.
-
Spike frowned. "Oh...Okay..." He stuffed his hands in his pockets and began his way down the hall to Vamp's room.
(nothing that I know of that's significant, sorry D:)
-
((Well where is everyone so I can get involved for a little bit.))
-
((I'm on my way to Vamp's room and Scautty's throwing a fit in his room))
Spike stood at the door to vamp's room. He sighed before stepping inside.
-
Random had finally risen from bed finding out that the monster he thought was in his room, didn't exist. He walks out into the main room and hears Scautty yelling from his room, and sees Spike leave Scautty's room. Random walked over to the door and looked inside to Scautty bleeding. "Yo dude, what happened, that looks like a lot of blood," Random said to Scautty entering his room.
-
I reacted without a word, only closing my door in Random's face. I stood and went over to my computer. Busted out the loudest angriest music I could find. As Veil Of Maya supported my anger, I wiped the blood from my face with my arm, then wrapping my paw in a sock from my drawer. I turned and stared out the window. The clean fresh air taunting me through my dirtied body...
-
Spike looked back down the hall at Random. "Don't mind him. He needs to blow some steam."
-
I looked back at the bed, a dark red spot on it's light blue sheets. I tore them off and onto the floor. "I'm going to bed so you and anyone else that comes over better SHUT UP!!" I laid on the bed, letting the loud deathcore rant on, until I managed to slip into slumber.
-
Random flipped Scautty off as he left the room, and said, "F you too buddy." Random walked back out into the hall and sat down in the living room to watch some T.V.
-
Spike dug around Vamp's room looking for the cigarettes when he finally found them. He looked at the pack. "Marlboro Lights?" Spike made a face. "Oh Scautty, you won't need to worry about me taking your smokes." He laughed and chucked the pack out the window. He pulled out his own pack of Benson & Hedges Black and wandered outside for a smoke.
-
Rowan decided to turn the hummer around and go back to the apartment. "Maybe some other time." They pulled up to the apartment. She looked over at Chrono and saw him asleep in the passenger seat. "Well I guess you're stayin' in here to the night." She got out and locked the doors, making her way up to the room. She opened the door and shut it. "Hey guys," She said unaware of Scautty's mood.
-
Spike looked up. "Hey Rowan, what's up?"
-
"Where's Scautty?" She asked tossing her keys on the table next to the couch. "Oh... I've been thinking. How do you guys feel about living in a more.. .Luxurious apartment? possible a condo or something." She looked at him.
-
Spike made a face, "Scautty's throwing a hissy fit in his room over something I don't know about...but throwing a hissy fit in a condo?" Spike thought for a moment. "Tha'd be nice...But I want to be able to smoke."
-
"Of course. You'd be able to do what you want at the place I'm looking at." She smiled. "Hissy fit huh?" Rowan let out a light laugh. She walked over to Scautty's door and tapped on it.
-
"Awesome..." Spike smiled. "I wouldn't do that if I was you." Spike looked concerned. "Scautty came pretty close to breaking Random's nose with the door."
-
Rowan looked back at Spike and knocked again. "I feel like playing with fire today..." She smirked and crossed her arms.
-
Spike shrugged. "OK."
-
Rowan runs her nails up and down the door, occasionally tapping it. She snickered and continued.
-
"Now that's just crazy...why?"
-
"I want to see if he'll actually flip at me... Plus. I'm curious to know what his problem is." Rowan continues her taunting.
-
I heard a slight scritching at the door.
I woke up, my eyes throbbing with pain. My paw was still wrapped up, my body terribly dirty. I sat up with a struggle, staring into the mirror. I looked as terrible as I felt.
I opened the door to find Rowan, fiddling with the door. I went on ahead and walked past her, making my way to the fridge. "Did you do as I asked Spike?" My voice was slightly groggy. I opened the fridge to find another soda, so I took it out with my good paw and opened it up.
-
"What happened to you?" She asked looking at Scautty.
-
Spike didn't look up from his grinder as he rotated the top end over a piece of scrap paper. "Yes, sir."
-

-
Chrono woke up lying outside his apartment, and seeing Rowan's hummer locked up in the lot. "I have got to stop doing things while I'm asleep..." he said outloud before heading inside and towards his room. He took off the head-band and actually started turning the eye-ball on his head clock-wise until his eyes snapped open, then he put the headband back on and noticed Rowan standing at the door to Spike's room and decided to stay awake just a little longer.
(The eye-turning thing was just a cartoon thing, since this is a fun rp :3)
-
(( Sure, go ahead. :D ))
"Just... Sick is all." I finished the soda quite quickly and tossed it into the trash can - making it this time. I layed down on the couch, bringing my paw to my chest. "Ow..."
-
Hey guys can I join?

-
Rowan shook her head. "Oh come now... Do I look stupid?" She walked over to him and set her hand on his shoulder. "Let me see your paw... please?" She asked hoping he would let her help. Her tone was sweet and warm.
-
He saw Rowan go inside and ask about what he thought was someone's paw. This I gotta see he thought as he peered through and saw Rowan walking towards Scautty
-
My illness refused to let me say otherwise, so as she lifted my paw away from my body, my only reaction was the cringing from the pain. The sock wrapped around it was almost all a deep red.
"It's fine, I just gotta wash it..."
-
Rowan shook her head and took off the sock. "Relax. Don't try to refuse me your paw... It'll be less painful." She took his paw, her gently hands caressing it so carefully. She inspected the wound. "It's really deep. I recommend stitches.. but i know you'll refuse. Stay here." She quickly stood and went out the door. She came back quickly with gauze. "Here we are..." She took his paw gently and started to wrap it gently. "I'll change it in 2 hours or so.." She smiled warmly and blinked.
-
He felt rather deviant at the moment since he saw a different side of the usually cold but sad wolfess he saw earlier today. He crept up and hugged her waist, slightly shaking her from side-to-side "I didn't know you had a nursing side!"
-
Rowan laughs and squirms in his arms. "I have to.. So many band members hurt themselves and refuse to see a doctor..." She managed to say as the air is pushed from her.
-
"Theres always knocking them out and calling 911...." he said with a grin, still keeping his hold.
-
I looked on and watched their conversation carry out, my paw feeling a little better. I looked from it, then out the window, blankly.
After a bit of thought, I had decided to make an announcment. "If we do move, I refuse to let drugs be brought in."
-
Rowan looked at him. "That's not fair... That's tell the ones who have an addiction to quit cold turkey.. and for some.. It's like taking a knife and stabbing yourself repeatedly!"
-
I stood up. "Maybe their justice IS in killing themselves. But I won't want to see such lives wasted. They have the allotted time to cool it down."
-
Rowan looked at him shocked and angered. "Fine... but You need to cool down your temper!" She looked at him, her eyes searching him.
-
I brought my head back to a laugh. "I'm quite tranquil right now. You'll be able to say that again if anyone dares bring that smack into the new residence. A new start is what we need, not a stereotypical musician's trait in all of us." I gained close to Rowan. "Some are lucky to control what kills them inside..."
-
Rowan growled as he got closer. "And some it prevents them from killing themselves all together..." Her eyes looked into his, their bodies not very far apart. Her teeth were clenched.
-
Spike finally looked up from his joint rolling. "Now now, let's all be friends...peace people...peace." He returned his concentration to the small joint he gingerly held in his paws and licked it closed.
-
I examined her features. "Hm. You doing me a favor won't lead me to even harming you, Miss..." I walked past her, barely brushing her side. "No one searches for more time on this planet. Just aimlessly taking away the minutes. Feel warned." I slowly walked to my room, but fell to my knees, clenching my suddenly throbbing paw. My curses followed, as I then just sat fetally. Contained.
-
Rowan turned and went to help him. "I'm telling you to get stitches. Whether you like it or not... You're getting them." She looked at him and went to get a pack of ice. She set it on his paw and walked away, her tail gently brushing him.
-
(where are you guys? like in the apartment, outside, what?)
-
Spike stuck the joint between his teeth and looked over at Scautty while digging around hin his pockets for his lighter. " Yeah, man, you don't want something infected." He said before lighting up.
((We're inside))
-
"..." I didn't know what to say - My outburst led me postal, and yet she still keeps her care akinder... I stared at Spike. His joint readied. I didn't want another episode... Just yet. I decided I'd have to deal with him later...
"... Does anyone know how to sew?" I let out a weak laugh, trying to lighten the mood.
-
Spike raised his hand. "I do."
-
She looked at Spike. "You're smoking a joint." Rowan nodded and smiled. "Like I said... Band members refused to see doctors. I'll be back in a sec." She walked out the door and back to her hummer. She came back with a large bag. She opened it and pulled out a needle and stitching thread. She then pulled out rubbing alcohol. "Come here..." She walked over to his bed and sat down, patting the spot next to her.
-
I sat up and trudged over to the bed... Not excitedly of course. "I think I'll let the one that actually carries this stuff around fix this up, haha..."
I entered the room, closing the door behind me, following me saying, "This may hurt, Spike. Get some earplugs ready."
I sat next to Rowan, cradling my paw in the other. "I... Apologize for my behavior earlier..."
-
"It's alright. We all have those days." She pushed the needle through his skin from one side to the other and pulled tightly. "And I apologize for getting so angry like that. And for hurting you like this." She formed another stitch and pulled it tightly.
-
Spike laughed and began to melt into the couch...at least that's what it felt like to him. "Guys...I feel like a slice of butter."
-
I cringed at each loop pulled, but contained my pain. "It's fine... You're just doing what you need to do." I paused at another prick into my skin. "Can you keep a secret?"
-
"Of course... I'm your agent." She smiled as she continued stitching. She took his paw into her own and held it gently.
-
Chrono walked over to Spike and took the joint out of his mouth and flicked it out the window. "No more hallucinating for you..."
-
Walking inside the apartment, whistling and with a hot coffee in his hand, Phil plops himself on the couch watching MTV.
-
Spike looked at Chrono. "...You, Sir...Owe me $10."
-
"You, sir...pay too much for cheap thrills...." he added before heading to where he saw Rowan and Scautty go. "I'll be getting us some lunch, you guys want anything?"
-
"That was the highest quality chronic in the city, man, you don't know what a cheap thrill is." Spike stood up and walked over to the open window, sitting on the ledge and throwing both his legs over. "I'm getting my money's worth back." He said before be turned to jump out.
-
"That was the highest quality chronic in the city, man, you don't know what a cheap thrill is." Spike stood up and walked over to the open window, sitting on the ledge and throwing both his legs over. "I'm getting my money's worth back." He said before be turned to jump out.
He dashed back to grab spike and yank him down to the couch and closing the window. "Your life, though I sometimes doubt it, has more value than the drugs you pump into it..." he said as he grabbed an amp cord and tied Spike to the couch.
-
Spike sat tied up on the couch. He narrowed his eyes. "My nose is itchy and I can't scratch it...and it's ALL YOUR FAULT!"
-
"Some pal you got there" Phi laughed at the one tied to the couch, while he was watching tv.
-
"When I get out of this, you guys better hope no one gets stabbed!" Spike began to knaw and chew on the wire.
-
"Aw come on... don't be like that, if you ask nicely i might unwrap you" Phil replied, smiling and sipping his coffee.
-

Kitt had recently turned eighteen, eighteen meant bills... and bills meant a job... and a job had brought him to a local journalist, the pay was fine enough and they had even helped with accomadation... Kitt was wearing his usual jeans, jacket and flat-cap, along with a journalists note pad, and camera... all in all he felt rather fine and profesional... Stopping at the door behind which he could hear conversation he nocked politely and waited for an answer.....
-
"Well..." I hesutated. "I haven't told anyone in the band about this... At all. They tend to top anxiety."
I went ahead and began. "The doctor says I have a bad case of hypoglycemia. In understandable terms, I lack certain sugars in my body... In it's severity I may die soon." I made a slight cutoff at that. "I don't think my smoking helps this, even though it associates lungs, but whatever. I've felt terribly sick lately, and..." I stopped, hanging my head down over my arm crossed over to Rowan.
"Just don't tell anyone... I don't want them freaking out."
-
Spike paused to look at Phil. "Phil, will you PLEASE untie me?"
-
Yamp walked into the apartment, "Wow, I guess I miss alot when you go to a party." he said, holding the joint. He took a quick drag and popped it back into Spike's mouth without Chrono seeing. He untied Spike and said to him, "So, we now have the band tight-wad. Right?" he asked
-
Rowan's ears went down at Scautty's words. "You won't die... I won't let you. We'll work this out... And I promise I won't tell a soul." She looked at him and smiled slightly. She made another stitch and another. She tied a knot at the end and cut the thread. "There ya go... No just don't do any crazy movements." She took gauze and wrapped him paw. "As for the smoking, if it makes you feel better, I'll quit with you," She said smiling. She took out her box of cigarettes and threw them out the window. "See... Now we're in this together," She laughed.
-
Spike took a long hit from the joint. "Yeah man, thanks." He turned and glared at Chrono. Spike blew out the smoke in rings. "You didn't miss much at all."
-
"Well if that guy is crazy enough to tie you up because you wont smoke, I say do what he says...
-
He only sneers at Spike before heading back to where Scautty and Rowan were. "You guys need me to bring anything for lunch?"
-
I looked out the window, ghost trailing the box of cigarrettes. I looked back at her. "This is your decision. You can stop when you want..." I gave her a hug. No one has really made such a sacrifice for me... I'll have to pay the debt.
I rose up, inviting her up as well. "I'll need something to eat. My blood sugar's low, and I don't feel like passing out again, haha!"
-
Vamp walked into the kitchen and made himself a screwdriver with some Skyy Vodka. "Anyone want one? Phil?"
-
"No i dont drink Vodka, i'll just have my coffee thank you" Phil replied going back to his coffee, which has now lost it's warmth
-
"Alright, cool." he said as he sipped his drink. "I can heat that up for you if you want." he added.
-
"no i'm fine drinking cold coffee"
-
*Kistrev nocked again at the door, in fact he was getting a little annoyed as no one answered, but he didnt dare just open the door onto a band... he nocked again more loudly waiting for a reply*
-
Rowan smiled and nodded. "Well, what do you want to eat?" She asked, her tail swaying happily.
-
Kistrev was becoming impatient.... he gave up on politeness, and slammed his fist on the door, band or not he was ticked off..... the loud bang could be heard easily through the room....
-
"Hm..." I went past Phil and pulled out a packet of Ramen. "Quiye possibly the easiest - and most delicious - thing you could make. Haha!" I turned on the stove, tossing the packet on the counter, and placing a pot of water on the stove to boil.
My ears twitched. "Were you guys gonna answer the door?"
-
"Yea sure" Walking to the door with coffee in hand, he opens the door to see Kistrev
"Can I help you?"
-
uh hi... the names Kistrev, and im here on behalf of the local newspaper to do a report if its all fine with you.. *he held up a camera, notepad and passed over his newly given reporters badge acknowledging that he did indeed have a reporters license and was aged 18...*
-
I took a gander over Phil's shoulder, examining the proofs he had before him. "Very cool! Why don't you have a seat and we can get started." I motioned towards the couch.
-
*Kistrev stepped in looking round, giving a welcoming nod to everyone...*
-
"It'll be just a bit, I'm fixing up some eats." I dropped the block of ramen into the now boiling water, fiddling with it as it slowly boiled to a soft form.
-
*he sat down noting a few things down on the notepad and flicked through a few pages of notes....*
-
Chrono left when nobody responded to him, and when Scautty was just putting the ramen into the water, he came back in with a take-out box. "Since nobody told me what they wanted, I decided to get something for myself..." he sat down on the couch, and took a fork out of the bag the take-out was in, and opened it to show red-curry. "So...when do I get to start recording?"
-
I looked over to Chrono as I forked at the ramen. "You'll have to meet up with the recording studio. You'll be directing them on our music. But first you need to actually hear us play if you're gonna be recording director." I winked, turning back to the ramen. "Ah, almost done!"
-
Vamp finished his cocktail and hopped over the back of the couch. "Cool, press coverage." he said with a grin.
-
Kistrev grinned back... "barely, this is my first story under a full license... " ... he wrote a few more notes down and adjusted the lens of the camera before sitting back on the sofa looking up at Scautty, he pushed his cap back and waited for him to finish eating before he started...
-
rowan looked at Scautty. "I can always set up some times. I know a couple studios that wouldn't mind having fresh blood."
-
He was half-way through his curry when he heard Rowan. "Nice choice of words...I definatly can't wait to meet them" he said with excessive sarcasm.
-
Rowan laughed at Chrono's comment. "I'm sure you are just so excited."
-
Spike pressed out the butt of his cigarette and leaned back on the couch for a moment. He sat up straight again. "I'm getting Chinese food. Anyone want some?" He looked around at everyone in the room.
-
I poured the heap of noodles into a bowl. "Magnifico!" I went over, fork in hand, and sat at the couch next to Vamp. "You and Chrono can work out scheduling, I assume. It would be best to make it flexible for the gig."
I slurped up some ramen, turning to the reporter. "So when's this gonna start, young'un?"
-
*Kistrev clicked his pen and flipped to a blank page* well, i'l need the names of everyone in the band, and those helping in recording or anything else? then if i just get some information about what your going to be doing... and then some quick photo's... that should do for now, i may have to come back for a second run if you guys turn out to be hot news...
-
"Haha, then I'll be seeing you again, bud!" I gave a smirk. "I'm Escaut, but everyone calls me Scautty! I'm the oldest one here... Oh, and I'm the drummer!" I flashed a thumb up.
-
"I'm Rowan, their Agent." She said smiling at the reporter.
-
"Spike, the bassist." Spike raised his hand, slurping from his coffee mug.
-
"I'm Chrono, the reco-" he looks up to see if his head-band is on, and it is. "The recording and soundboard engineer"
-
"i'm Phil.. the chauffeur" the human said, nodding at the reporter, and downing the rest of his coffee, just as he reached for some Cheez- Its
-
Rowan sat on the couch and put her feet up, her knees pulled into her chest.
-
He looked at Rowan and at his half remaining curry. "Want some?" he asked, holding the container up to her.
-
Spike leaned back in his seat and stared up at the ceiling. He placed his empty coffee mug on the side table under a lamp.
-
I too looked up at the ceiling. "Ha..." I revitalized my senses, now fully healed from the delicious ramen.
-
Spike looked back down at everyone in the room as they sat quietly. Spike cracked a crooked smile at the awkward silence before he leaned ocer to grab the newspaper next to his mug on the table. He flung the paper open in front of his face. He began to read.
-
*Kistrev had his tongue stuck out slightly as he wrote, catching everyones names and a short discription.... after that was done he stood up embressdly* uhhh, who wouldnt mind a quick photo shoot?
-
Spike lowered the paper to look at Cat and shrugged. "I'll do it."
-
well thats one... *he made a quick note on his pad before standing up and adjusting the lense of the camera* .. uh, where do you want it.... its up to you really, where do you think would be best?
-
Spike folded up the paper and put it back on the table. "The practice room. Follow me." Spike stood up and walked out the door.
-
*Kistrev followed him out of the door into the corridor, he walked along beside Spike a few steps behind...*
-
Spike took out a keychain from his pocket, a small crackpipe tied to a ring, he put the key in the lock and opened the door. He put the keys back in his pocket and walked inside, holding the door for Kristev. "Watch your step in here. It's kinda cluttered." The room was packed with amps and sound equipment.
-
*Kistrev hopped in after spike, stepping over a coil of wires and snapped a shot of the room... looking over the results he adjusted the lens and a few settings before he was ready..* any ideas? it really doesnt matter, whatever you think will look best in this report...
-
Spike laughed. "You're the photographer, you tell me."
-
barely.... this liscene was issued to me just yesterday mate.... im actually rather clueless... *he looked from spike to the jumble of guitars, bass, drums and most everything else...* bass right? well take youre pick of instrument, uhh... *he dragged across two amps, a very large one, with a smaller 50 watt one stacked on top....* and if you could help me out with the rest, that'd be great... *he lined up the camera so the background showed a wall that was plastered with band photos....* right, well im ready...
-
Spike laughed again. "Alright." Spike stood up and walked over to the closet and pulled out his rootbeer colored Gibson Thunderbird. He dragged over a milk crate and flipped it over before he sat down on it in front of the amp stack Kristev dragged over. He sat and faced Kristev with the bass at ready, plugged in. "Oh, wait." He pulled out a cigarette and lit up offering one to Kristev. "Smoke?"
-
*Kistrev grinned* rarely, but if its free... *he lit up with an old zippo which he stashed back into his pocket before pulling out the camera and snapping off a quick practice shot.... squinting at the result on the lcd display he nodded and angled the camera, bringing Spike in and out and then finally in to focus as the lens settled* ready when you are mate...
-
Spike took off his Oakley sunglasses, placing them on the amp, revieling his gold eyes no longer bloodshot. He placed his cigarette in the neck of his bass by the tuning keys and made a silly face. "Ok."
-
*Kistrev snapped off photos in quick succesion... he felt he was getting better at this, and the quality of his photos was definatly improving each time... he knelt down to take several more from one more angle...* hey, just a few more and we should be done... this is hot stuff...
-
Spike held the pose trying hard not to laugh.
-
right! thats it! *Kistrev stepped back staring intently at the photo's on the lcd display...* very good... *he saw Spike's expression as he tried to hold in the laugh..* oh! you can laugh now..... *he grinned at him stowing the camera away... i think thats mostly everything.... unless theres anything any of the others in the band want? a group photo? *he stubbed out the cigarette on his jeans and shoved it into his pocket, then helped push the amps back against the wall*
-
"Haha!" I slightly laughed at the discussion. ""Don't get too narccissistic, I want to go to!"
-
Spike took the cigarette from between the strings and stuck it back between his lips. He flipped the amp on and began to play some jazz bass as he spoke. "Hey, Kristev, I think Scautty wants his picture taken."
-
((Hey sorry I haven't been on in a few days, been busy, just turned 18 so I've hanging out with friends a lot recently, so I hate to ask, but can someone update me on what's going on, and what I should be doing?))
-
((yea i need some updating... I haven't been able to get on much lately))
-
(band photo shoot, Kitt is the reporter/photographer)
-
Random looks at the camera with hate in his eyes, 'That soul stealer will not grasp me, it is best I just avoid it seeing me.' Random walks around the outside of the room as close to wall as possible.
-
(right now Spike had his shoot done and Scaut is up next, group photo is next, also EVERYONE can get in the shoot, not just members)
-
Rowan stood to the side and watched the band. "They aren't relaxed... This is gonna take some time." She put her hand to her forehead and shook her head.
-
Vamp pulled comb out of his pocket and fixed his hairdo. "I hate it when this happens." he said, commenting on his hair.
-
Chrono stood away from the camera lens and looked at the band. "What, you expect me to get in front of a camera with this?" he pointed to the band around his head, that still made the third eye visible.
-
"Guys.. you all need to relax. Vamp stop fixing your hair. It should look a little messy," Rowan said pointing at Vamp and looking at the other guys.
-
"Alright." he replied, and put the comb away.
-
"Fine, just let me get a better replacement..." He searches around the room until finding a headband with a dragon skull in the middle. He wrapped it around his head and got in front of the camera.
-
"That thing will never steal my soul!" Random says glaring at the camera, back pressed against the wall.
-
He sighed when he saw Random act that way. "stop acting like your suffering from Chronic PCP and get in front of the camera..."
-
"Come on! Random... Get in front of the damn camera!" Rowan ordered pointing at his spot. "I promise, it wont take your soul."
-
"This has nothing to do with the PCP, I would just like to keep my soul, thank you very much!" Random replied looking at the demonic lens of the camera, dark and cold.
-
"Am I allowed in the shoot, after all he did say everyone associated with the band could be in it"
-
"That's it." Vamp said with a grin, and grabbed Random by the scruff and placed him in front of the camera. Still holding his scruff Vamp said "The faster we do this, the faster it's over. And yeah, what would a shoot be with out our friendly neiborhood chauffer" he joked.
-
Random screamed as Vamp dragged him off but then stopped caring as he started laughing. "I don't even need to walk anymore!" Random said standing up. "Fine I'll do the shoot, but know that I'll kill every one of you if my soul is taken from me." Random waited for his turn for the picture.
-
"I hear a body without a soul is just a rag-doll of flesh..." Chrono said to scare Random a bit more.
-
Vamp played along, "Yeah, you'll just slump over on the floor." still with a firm grip on the scruff.
-
Random glares at Vamp and Chrono, "You know, maybe I'll just kill you anyways." Than he laughed and patted Vamp on the back. "I'm just glad you're going first!"
-
"Guys... Quit it! Now get into place!" Rowan said getting frustrated. "We need to get this done and over with... I only have so much money..."
-
Chrono stuck out his tongue and smiled. "Yes mother..." his tail flicking about in a playful way.
-
Sipping some more coffee, Phil gets into place for the shoot.
-
Random feeling his amount of angry rising slowly, he stands in front of the camera, facing his fear of his soul being stolen.
-
"It wont eat you! Can we take that shot already?" Rowan asked throwing her arms up.
-
"At least we're not actors." Vamp joked.
-
"Atleast we don't have random fears of cameras, oh wait," Random said jokingly. "Now can we take the damn picture already!"
-
"Pfft... an airhead with no survival ability is not in my interest of mates or lifestyles..." Chrono looked in the same direction as Rowan, trying to avoid eye contact while crossing his arms.
-
"Thank God I dont do drugs...." Phil said loud enough for all to hear
-
"No, but it seems coffee is you crack." Vamp joked.
-
"No, but it seems coffee is you crack." Vamp joked.
"True dat but I dont have an unnatural fear of cameras and urges to tie up people for smokin a joint"
-
"You and me both pal." he joked.
-
*Kitt watched the group bickering and shoving as they got into place with a grin... trying despertaly not to laugh he lined the camera up trying to fit everyone in....* right... errr, Random? if you could shove over just a bit, and Spike, yeah thats good.... right... *he took several pictures one after the other and then looked down at the lcd display..* good, that should be it... unless, Scauty? spike said somthing about you wanting a picture? *Kitt was packing up some of his things as he looked up at Scautty*
-
Spike stopping sitting like he was having his 3rd grade picture taken with the silly smile and stood up to stretch. He walked over to the coffee pot and poured himself another cup as he looked back between Scautty and Kristev.
-
I looked up, startled. "Oh, uh, me? Haha, sure! We could all get individual shots playing our instruments. I do believe someone wasn't in this picture..." I smiled an evil smirk towards Rowan, arms crossed.
((FYI Let's try to keep things less dynamic until we can get everyone on here to do important events. PM around if you actually want to schedule times, but either way, keep event transitions with the majority. i.e. Gigs, The "Move," etc. Thanks!))
-
He smiled at Scautty "Way ahead of you!" he left the camera's view for a split second, almost yanking Rowan into the picture and wrapping his arms around her neck, placing his head on her left shoulder. "Okay, everyone's here!" he said with a cheeky grin.
-
"Heheee!" I smiled giddily, keeping my sight to the camera.
-
"Uh, yeah. Let's just take the picture." he said as he put a mint in his mouth.
-
*Kistrev snapped the group photo... * right, Scautty you said you wanted single shots of everyone? i mean it up to you guys....
-
"Haha, of course I'm up for it!" I smiled big, pointing at my face.
-
right, well Scautty if your up for goin first... the practice room?
-
Spike sat in his chair, sipping his coffee.
-
"Thank god that soul ripping event is over!" Random said sitting next to Spike in another chair. "So what's up Spike?"
-
"Sounds good!" I skipped into the practice room, my pork pie double pedal set awaiting. I grabbed a pair of stickes and stood near the set. "What'cha need from me, boss?"
-
Rowan sat outside the building and lit up a cigarette. A wave of sadness washed over her as the death of her friend finally hit her.
-
boss? *Kistrev smirked, he'd always been the one further down the "food chain" and had never been called boss before... this reporting malarky really could bring all back round..* hey, whatever feels natural mate! *Kistrev knelt down and adjusted the lense of the camera*
-
Chrono walked out and saw Rowan at it again. "I don't know if I'm jealous or thankful for not having many close ties...but seeing you, I guess I would be better off, sorry for sounding like a narcassist"
-
"Haha, okay! Then action shots!!" I jumped over behind the set, sitting on the throne, and playing different proggressions of diverse beats, filling a bit after each.
-
"Me next?" Vamp asked.
-
"Yea... You're lucky. I've grown attached to all my previous clients... It's a curse really." She took a drag, the smoke escaping her mouth slowly as she spoke.
-
"Just out of curiosity...and considering what I just put you through, do I fit under that list?" he asked with sincere curiosity, his mohawk looking somewhat deflated.
-
Sitting down in a chair, Phil finally finishes his coffee..
-
"What do you mean?" She asked, flicking away her the cigarette butt. Her eyes shifted to his, the crystal blue of them intense.
-
Spike looked as everyone left the room except phil. He looked both ways before pulling out his bong from under the chair. He poured some coffee into it and then pulled out a little bag from his pocket. He ripped off some of a cigarette and packed it into the bottom half of the bowl. He placed a little bit of chronic over top and put the bong to his lips. He lit the the bowl and began to pull. As smoke slowly filled the bong, he sharply inhaled, clearing the bowl and it made a loud popping sound. As he held in the smoke in his lungs. He blew out the smoke after a moment and struggled to put the bong down. "Phil!...Phil! The bong, take the bong! I'm gonna drop it!"
-
"I just put myself out in the open to help you with your problem...knowing that most people who either run away or attack me thinking i'm trying to eat their soul or something outrageous as that" he took off the headband, and the third eye met the crystal blue of her eyes, apparently making its power dormant for the time being.
-

"You seriously expect me to smoke some Chronic cause you filled the bong with coffee... I'm not that addicted to it" Picks up the bong and puts it on a nightstand then walks away going to get some more of his premium coffee.
-
"But what list could you fall under? The clients that I have grown attached to? Well... yea..." She looked down and took a deep breath.
-
Spike began to slowly sink into the chair. "Pff no. This is MY chronic. You get your own. I was going to drop it. Nobody has use for a shattered bong. I filled it with coffee because I didn't have water on hand." He laughed.
-
"...what's that smell?" I perked my ears, raising my nose to the direction it was coming from. It was like... Coffee with some weird fruit tea or...?!
I jumped over the set to get the living room in my sight. I saw Spike hallucinatedly giggle. And on the stand... A bong?!
I tossed a drumstick from my left hand hard and swift at Spike. As my hand finished the downward motion, the stick bounced straight up in the air, reverberating from hitting his cranium. That and my cursing was heard throughout the room.
-
Spike sat, a face of uncertainty set upon him. "...Ow." He held his head. "...Did something just hit me?"
-
He saw her look down, and immedeatly regretted prodding at her. "Sorry, the question just nags at me everytime I remember things...and end up seeing you in them" the last part he muttered, still nervous as child.
-
Walking back to Spike, with a Canadian Gasmask, he sits back down to read his book.
-
Rowan's ears perked up at Scautty's voice. "Oh lord..." She got up and sprinted inside. "Are you all crazy!? I thought I said no more drugs! Damn it!" She looked away and mumbled profanities. "You are CRAZY spike... You have a problem... And so help me... We're gonna fix it!" She took the bong and looked at Scautty.
-
Spike looked over at Phil.
"Oh..my..lord..." He turned around to face the closet. "E.T! RUN! The government's come to get you!!!"
-
Opening his book, which happens to be Halo Fall of Reach, on the cover are a few tiny dent marks made by a friend who tried to re-bend his flash drive back into shape, but causing noticeable dents that really annoy Phil. (im not kidding you....but it's true)
-
Chrono slumped against the apartment walls, and saw a pack of ciggeretes. Temptation to get rid of all this maddening nervousness presented itself, and he was trying to pry his eyes away from it. "You've gotten over this before....just don't think about it"
-
"Ugh." I looked at Rowan's eyes, angered through such pure eyes. "I'm sorry Miss Rowan." I took the bong and, avoiding the last episode with glass, I gently tossed the instrument into the sink, slightly cracking it. "Wash up, Spike." I thumped his head as I walked by, picking up my drumstick I threw and made my way back to the practice room.
-
(("Smoke me! Smoke me! I'm delicious tobacco and rat poison mixed together in a slurry of death, what could be better? Smoke me!"))
-
Spike flinched as he felt a drop land on his hand. He looked at the red liquid on his hand. He felt his face, wet with blood. He stood up and looked into the mirror to see a stream of bloodrun down his forehead, through his left eye and down beside his jaw. "Guys...I'm bleeding." He turned to face them.
((Dude, Spike just hit a popper. Those things knock you on the floor. It's weed AND Nicotine in one hit.))
-
(("Smoke me! Smoke me! I'm delicious tobacco and rat poison mixed together in a slurry of death, what could be better? Smoke me!"))
(( XD Basically ))

((I just want to point out that nothing in the rp said we had to be on drugs, yet more than half our main players have some kind of substance issue))
-
(but real life problems in a real life rp makes everything MAKE SENSE, if i had a laser shotgun, then this rp would be weird)
Continues to read the section where John and Kelly have to leave Sam behind on the Jackal cruiser..
-
((For the record, I have no substance issue, some one snuck me bad PCP without my consent))
Random looks at spike and says, "Well I'll be damned, you are bleeding!"
-
Spike turned to look at Random. "What makes you say that?" Spike turned to look in the mirror again. "JESUS MURPHY! I AM!"
((Scautty...You owe me a new bong XD))
-
Rowan looked at Scautty. "It's alright..." She followed him. "Are you alright? You're really tense..." She sad down on the chair and looked at him, her eyes warm and calm.
-
(( Gabag is right. It's realism, most bands do drugs and sometimes do ease into interventions like this. It's fun. :P ))
"Good! It'll teach him there's more in that head of his then some pothead brain!!" I shook a fist, drumstick flailing, cursing continuing. I guiltily exchanged my glance with Rowan, ceasing to respond. I then looked over to the kitchen. "... Phil, I'll need you to take me to the store later. We need pickles and coffee." I had to get out of the house.
(( haha, that grocery list WASN'T a Metalocalypse reference, I swear! ))
-
He managed to push the pack out of his mind and he went back inside, only to pass by Spike's door and notice he's bleeding. "Seriously, now your inflicting pain on yourself?!"
-
Rowan looked at Scautty. She got up and shut the door. "Don't avoid the question... It doesn't work with me." She crossed her arms and waited.
-
Spike recoiled at Scautty's words, a tear in his eye. "I'm only responding to my personality!" He broke out crying he ran into the next room, slamming the door, breaking the frame. "...and I am genuinely sorry about the door!" He screamed through the sobbing.
-

"We could go right now if you want, cause I just got the last glass of coffee" Phil replied, sipping coffee from his ever prominent vintage Commissarairte mug.
-
"Good job, Scautty, making poor Spike cry." Random walks over to Spike, "Tough it up baby!"
-
Chrono just walked inside and sat next to Phil "Well, this band gig is off to a nice start" he put his headband back on and just tried to calm down from the nervousness from earlier.
-
"Scautty's MEAN!" He yelled again. "I ain't your friend!" He yelled through the door at Scautty.
-
I sheepishly stood in front of Rowan, looking from Phil to Chrono to herself, then down to the ground. "We'll go tomorrow. Miss Rowan, let's go outside. Spike, calm down and clean up this f***ing mess." I led the way outside, averting my eyes from the group being left behind.
-
Random went to refridgerator and looked inside, beer stood, cold, and in it's prime. "Beer is good!" Random said smiling. "Sitting down with Beer in hand he says, "Ahh beer, my one true love."
-
Spike wiped away the tears and as much blood as he could with his sleeve. "Random...Hand me that there bottle of JD." He pointed to the full bottle under the counter.
-
Hearing Spike request the JD. phil quickly stood up and stood in front of him. "Whiskey to solve your problems, that'll only make your life a living hell... dont do it man, nto worth it"
-
Random tosses Spike the bottle saying, "No problem."
-
"I can drink myself happy if I want to..." Spike paused. "What do you suggest?" Spike asked catching the bottle and twisting the top open before chugging a third of the bottle, grimacing.
-
Chrono finally calmed down, but he looked up at Scautty leaving. "I should never have let my emotions out...now I just want to go to sleep and forget this day occured.." he got up and left the room, just barely outside the room before almost collapsing.
-
"I suggest you go get some fresh air, and go for a job"
-
I turned at their discussion. "I swear to all that is holy to you if you get drunk in this apartment you under-aged chuggers I'll make you bleed MORE than droplets!!!" I left completely, stopping myself from slamming the door as to allow Rowan's leave.
I perched myself on the step outside, resting my elbow on my knee to support my head. I rubbed my eyes a bit, squeezing almost.
-
Spike looked out at Scautty. "Hey, nazi, I'm 20. Get off my case!"
-
"Hurray solving problems in horrible ways!" Random said laughing. "Just for the record, Alcohol is a depressant, and should be consumed with caution, I personally just don't care." Random laughed again before taking another drink of his wonderful beer. "I can't remember how old I am"
-
Phil turned to Spike "You shut up, he has a lot on his mind with one guy having a third eye and collapsing, you being a pothead and a drunkard, and Random having problems due to unwanted drug use, now put yourself in his position, before you call him a nazi"
Taking the bottle of JD from Spike, he walks outside and hurls it across the street. "It's painful but you'll get over it"
Sitting down next to Scautty, Phil leans back with his mug "Hey man, you alright?"
-
"Hey Phil, you may not want to take that, having an open bottle of alcohol in your car would be very terrible!" Random yell as Phil leaves the room.
-
Chrono really wanted to vent out...but knew it would cause much more harm than good. He went outside and saw Scautty and sat next to him. He was hoping not having to say anything, he just wanted to be away from the drugs.
-
(( Yay, 50 pages!! This thread has grown so well. ^_^ Also idk about where you guys live but the drinking age in KS is 21, fyi. Haha! ))
I sighed, continuing to massage my eyelids. "... Nah man, I'm not alright."
-
Spike watched as Phil left. "...That son of a..." Spike pulled out another bottle form under the couch as soon a Phil left. He clanged bottles with Random and continued.
((Canada. 19. iWin. XD))
-
"I know what you have to go through, with most people you know drinking and abusing, it was like the last people I had to drive, i had to have a window to keep the smoke out... it never grows on you" Phil glanced at Scautty "Wanna sip?" he asked offering his mug.
-
I sighed, continuing to massage my eyelids. "... Nah man, I'm not alright."
"Well, that makes two of us..." Chrono said, passivly scatching at the visual bump in his forehead
-
"Honestly...This band will kill me before anything else does." He said, shaking his head.
-
"I'm pretty sure I'll die in a car accident," Random said oblivious to the sarcasm.
-
"The band isn't like it used to be..." I shyed away from his mug, thanking for the offer. "It used to be about the music... The fame. Now I jist think it's all seperating. They ARE just kids, I feel terrible for bringing them into such a world."
I raked my scalp of hair through my fingers, keeping my head down.
-
"It happens with kids their age man, nothing you could've done, just the rumors of how awesome pot and how cool it is to drink beer and the associated drinks are everywhere, Besides it takes a real man to do their best to lead them away from that life" Phil said taking a sip of the rejected mug.
-
Spike made a face. "Why?" He asked rubbing his head, as he is now suffering a major headache.
-
He shuddered, trying to bury the past again. "Their upbringing was much better than mine, so unless they force drugs on me...I'll still be here Scautty"
-
Going to his pimped out limo, Phil searches around the trunk till he finds an couple of glowsticks and his favorite headphones/ipod.
-
There was a beat. "I guess you're right... But am I that one to get them out of this?" My ears perked a bit more. "We can keep a good distance, Chrono. Being provoked by them would not be a way to go."
-
"Well if you act like the good role model you are they should know that that stuff is bad, or we could do it my way, and if they do any of this in my car, they can walk home"
Snapping the two glowticks, to create a blue glow from both of his hands, Phil starts moving them in motions so it seems almost like a liquid.
-
"hey, I can always find their stashes of liquor and drugs, and flush them down the toilet or garbage disposal..." he replied with a grin, trying to add a bit of humor to the situation.
-
As more blood began to fall down Spike's face, Spike stood up grabbed his leather jacket and put it on before he walked out of the room, taking the bottle with him. He walked outside to where the group was gathered outside. He stood facing Scautty on the floor. His eyes bloodshot, his face smeared with blood, he mumbled. "Scautty?"
-
"One of the visions I had, I figure based on how old I looked, I've got at least ten years," Random replied sipping on his beer. "You alright?"
-
Chrono looked up at Spike, and saw the blood. He took the headband he carried with him and wrapped it around Spike's wound. "You're not going anywhere but either back into your room, or the hospital bed"
-
Spike pulled put his phone and quickly texted Random. "No."
"I'm sorry, guys, for the way I acted the way I did. He looked down at the bottle in his hand. He tipped the bottle upside down, having the whiskey pour into the sewer. He dropped the bottle on the cement. He took a deep breath. "I'm going to the hospital...I don't feel very good." He took a final look at the group and nodded before he turned and walked away down the street.
-
"Yeah... I guess so." Spike joined the group, still behind me as he exitted the door.
"... Hey Spike."
-
(DUN DUN DUUUUUNNNNNN!)
Phil stops glowsticking to watch the confrontation of abuser and band leader.
-
Random's phone vibrates, making him jump and pull it out of his pocket as fast as possible and chuck it at the sofa. "Oh, it was just a text," he said laughing a little and picking up his phone to see the text saying, "No". "Well that was important."
-
((jeez i leave for a night and I'm left behind... EY Pappi!))
Rowan sat down next to Scautty and listened to him. "What do you think the band is about then?" She asked. She looked at Spike then Scautty. "Chrono... If you even think of picking up those smokes, I will seriously have to hurt you..." She looked at Chrono angrily.
-
Spike walked back down the street, his leather jacket blowing in the wind, a cigarette burning between his lips, and a bloody bandage wrapped around his head. He looked at each person in the group still outside and stopped. He looked at Chrono and dug into his pocket. "Here." He handed Chrono his headband back. "Thanks...and I cleaned it for ya." He pulled the cigarette out his lips and pulled out another cigarette from his pack, sticking it between his lips. He lit the end of it with the ember of his old cigarette before he flung the butt out into the street. He looked at Scautty, expressionless, then back at everyone else, blowing smoke out his nose. "Doctor says I'm a bit concust but I'll be fine but funny thing is that I don't remember being hit with anything...only that I started bleeding...You guys know anything about that?"
-
He grabbed the pack on the ground, and mashed it in his hand, throwing it into a nearby trash-can. "So are you going to hurt me, or not?" he didn't grin, since he actually did expect a hit for even showing a hint of curiosity.
-
Rowan clenched her fist then relaxed. "No... You didn't smoke so it's alright." She looked at him.
-
Random sits in the living room staring at the ceiling. Having finished his beer, he was content, and wanted to do something. He walked downstairs and went outside for some fresh air, it had been awhile since he had exited the building. He saw the group of people sitting outside. He not smiling like he normally is, but he is not upset. Random's mood is just mellow. As he looks around he puts on a fake smile, waves and starts walking down the street away from the group, with no sure heading, and no sure time frame for when he'd return.
-
Vamp walked into the apartment with chinese food and set it on the table. "Damn, gone for twenty minutes and all hell breaks loose." he said as he took the lipuor from his friends and threw the bottles out the door, satisfied by the sound of the glass shattering.
-
"Hm. I'm not sure what happened to you." I looked on through middle-distance, letting the wind course my stressed face. "Miss Rowan... I think this band is more about our unity than our division. It hasn't proved so in the past few weeks, but I think it can change."
-
"I still can't seem to drink enough of the irony that my race is known for blowing smoke and fire, but I just can't smoke a cigarette...." Chrono replied, leaning back and hugging whatever part of Rowan he can, which in this case would be her calves and ankles. "I can't help it, your a nice kind of fuzzy..."
-
Spike looked amongst the group, skeptical. "...NO ONE knows what happened to me!?" He shook his head and gabve up. He walked down the street in the same direction as Random.
-
((Backstory for Random below, if you want to know why he's so F'd up))
Random had walked a ways when he came upon a hospital. It was tall and loomed over him almost menacingly. 'Maybe they can stop these visions,' Random thought looking at the doors. Rain suddenly began to pour down on him, causing him to become drenched almost instantly. His fur was droopy and his face was held down a little, his shoulders sagged.
Thunder rang out across the streets, echoing into the distance. The sound made him jump, and he shivered as he looked around. There were shadows of figures everywhere, all around him, moving, watching. They were just out of visibility and looked as though they were intent on fighting Random.
"It's just my imagination," Random said over and over to himself. "It's just my imagination." He closed his eyes to try and get rid of the horrifying sight, but when he closed his eyes, instead of darkness, he saw a memory, of when he was a child.
He stood in his old living room, his mother holding him by the shirt collar, "What did you say to me!" she yelled before slapping him across the face. Tears ran down his face, cold, down his chin and fell to the floor. "What did you say?"
"I said you should stop drinking," Random mumbled out, choking on his sadness and pain. His mother slaps him again.
"Did you say, I should stop drinking! Why you ungrateful little," she said before picking him up by the collar and throwing him sideways into a wall. "It's your fault I drink, if you weren't such a f*** up, then I wouldn't be so f***ing upset."
Random's breathing was choppy as he lifted himself to his feet.
"Now apologize you little b****!" she yelled towering over him. "Say it!"
"No," Random mumbled.
"What was that?" she said pulling him close to her with a hand on the back of his neck, squeezing.
"I said, NO!" Random yelled through clenched teeth. She had had enough. His mother put both hands on the front of Random's neck and began to tighten her grip, strangling him.
"You never talk back your mother!" she yelled as he struggled pointlessly against her grip. Everything began to spin, and he felt his arms weaken. Slowly he drifted off, slowly to sleep.
He opened his eyes to see that he was still standing in front of the hospital door but someone was now there, a girl, she appeared to be nurse. She snapped her fingers in front of him, and was saying something, but it was muffled. Slowly, everything began to become clear and he could understand what the girl was saying.
"Sir, are you alright, sir, sir, are you alright?" she said over and over again.
"Yes, I'm fine," Random lied, and smiled at her.
"Oh thank god, another minute and I was going to get a doctor and a stretcher," the girl joked.
"Thanks," Random said rubbing the back of his head.
"No problem," she replied smiling. She was dripping from the storm that still raged, and Random was starting to feel cold. "So if you don't mind me asking, why are you standing out here?"
"Uh, well, I was thinking about seeing if there was anything you guys could do about a problem I'm having," Random said walking towards the hospital doors.
"Well what's your problem?"
"Many years ago, I slipped bad PCP, and ever since, I've been having visions, and it's becoming a problem. It's why I was standing out there."
"I'm sorry, I don't think we can fix that."
"Oh," Random replied, his ears drooping.
"You poor thing, what's your name?"
"Most people just call me Random."
"Random, well that's odd, but okay," she replied mildly surprised. "What's your real name?"
Random thought for a second, "Alfred, my name is Alfred."
"Well, Alfred, or Random, nice to meet you, I'm Alice," she said offering her hand to him.
Random shook her hand, and smiled back. "Nice to meet you Alice. However, I should be going."
"What for?" she replied with.
"I don't want to keep you from your job," Random lied, 'I just want to be alone for a little while.'
"Okay," she said with her ears dropping also. "Well nice meeting you, have a safe walk home."
"Thanks," Random said nodding his head and exiting the hospital. He walked back towards the apartment, but saw Spike as he did so.
"Hey Spike, what're you doing here?"
-
*Kistrev picked up his copy of the paper, and there, front page.... HIS article.... he punched the air, there was no way he could be fired, no way, no way....*
-
(( I'm going to go ahead and make a transition, based off of Kistrev. Just jump in appropriately. ))
I slowly opened my eyes to the sun continuing to sear onto my body through the window. I feel alot more refreshed than yesterday, feeling completely... Normal.
I peeked outside to find the newspaper rolled tightly, on the ground at the foot of the door. I picked it up to find - Spike?! I unrolled it, snapping the rubber band contaaining the pages, seeing the front page. 'Blank Limit - Destined for the Summit of Music' The title shined, the pictures glimmering alongside it. It was two smaller pictures, one of me playing drums and the other of Spike groovily playing bass, and then the whole crew in one bigger picture.
I almost teared up, but began to read the article.
-
Chrono felt the sun strike his always opened third eye, and his other one opened up, seeing him lying under Rowan, his arms wrapped around her. Please tell me this is not what I think it is...
(Important note: just because it opens that way, did not mean the obvious thing happened)
-
Rowan woke up from the slight discomfort of being suffocated. She saw Chrono on top of her and she let out a deep sigh. "What the hell? Alright.. what did I smoke and or Drink?" she asked herself pushing him off.She sat up and noticed she was on the floor of the apartment.
-
"I don't know, whatever you did I probably did, I can't remember either" he said with a laugh before sliding up and looking around. "Well, no hangover...so it wasn't drinking, and I threw away that last pack I saw..." He then realized what happened. "You looked at my eye again, didn't you?"
-
"I don't know.." Rowan put her hand to her forehead as it began to throb. "Well I think I drank... Where are my sunglasses." She got up and went to her back and put on her sunglasses. "I'll be right back." She went into the bathroom with a pair of sweat pants and changed into them. "Well I know I'm not doing much today with a hangover..." She sat on the couch and put her head back, sunglasses still placed on her face. "Can you make me some coffee please?" She asked looking at Chrono.
-
Walking into the apartment, the ever present coffee mug to his face, he saw the newspaper and Scautty's face, seeing the newspaper, he started cheering.
-
He nodded and went over to the coffee machine, he set it up for a fast brew and went to the front door and opened it. "Go figure, we ended up in my room" he looked down and saw the newspaper lying there. "Not to mention the news followed us" he picked it up and saw the front page. "Rowan, check this out" he said with a grin spreading from frill to frill.
-
She held her head and walked over to the door. "Wow... not bad not bad." She took the paper and walked down the hall slowly. She walked into the apartment and saw Phil. "Did you see?" she asked, her tone not showing excitement.
-
She held her head and walked over to the door. "Wow... not bad not bad." She took the paper and walked down the hall slowly. She walked into the apartment and saw Phil. "Did you see?" she asked, her tone not showing excitement.
"Heck yes I did!"
-
Random entered the apartment, mildly downtrodden, and a little out of it. The night had been long, spent alone walking the streets of whatever city this is. He waved at the people as he walked by them and went into his room quietly. He had seen many visions and none of them good, constantly frightening him, and constantly making him remember why he was such a problem. He laid down on his bed to stare at the ceiling.
-
Vamp walk into the apartment with headphones on and a MONSTER in hand. "Guess we made some ink."
-
"Yepp... your music is really loud," Rowan said holding her forehead again. She groaned and walked over to the couch
-
I continued eyeing our glorious depiction as I made my way back to the room. I entered to find everyone up - newspapers in hand. "Oh, so you guys saw it too, huh?! Isn't it sweet!? ... Miss Rowan, are you okay?"
-
Vamp, mimicing Emilio from Mr.Deeds grabbed a bottle from the cupboard and handed two small tablets to Rowan, "You asprin. They make you head seem smaller." he said in a corny spainiard accent.
-
Chrono came back with a cup of coffee and handed it to Rowan. "Sorry if its not to your liking, I only have coffee for guests..."
-
I turned my gaze from the group of guys attempting to provide an ailment to whatever was wrong with Rowan and tossed the paper onto the counter. "I'll be in my room. Let me know if anyone needs anything!" I went ahead and brought myself to my room and closed the door. I sat at the desk, it's cluttered notes and computer screen in front of me. I looked over to my bed and saw the dark stains of my blood - leaking from my body of hatred from before. I regretted my nervous breakdown, but had my hopes for what it told the band. I wanted to make the best of the time I have left...
-
Rowan looked at Scautty. "I'm fine... just a slight hang over." She stood and walked over to him, holding her coffee. She put her hand on his shoulder. "Are you alright?" She asked. She took off the glasses and winced at the light, her eyes an intense blue. She seemed a bit saddened. "Come on... we need to talk." She walked towards his room and waited.
-
I went ahead and allowed her into my room, shutting the dorr behind her. "What did you want to talk about?"
-
"Are you alright? Is this whole thing getting to your head? I know you're ill... but I can get you the best doctors," She looked at him, worry in her tone.
-
Vamp reached into his pocket and handed Scautty a small pad of paper. "New song. I don't know if it's any good. I was buzzed when I wrote it."
-
"Well, I'm not really--" I noticed Vamp reaching a note to me through the door. I went ahead and grabbed it, shooing him away as I closed the door again.
I slowly opened the peice of paper as I began to speak to her. "Miss Rowan, I'm not really after adoctor. This condition is nothing the best can cure. If I get the medical field involved, I'd be eating dinner through an IV. I don't want that to hold the band down... So I guess I'll try my best to ket them have their fun."
I opened the paper to some tablatures, showing some chords and some random notes. I couldn't really play out the notes in my head, so I set it aside onto my desk.

Chrono went back to his room and drank what he thought was a bottle of coca-cola, but it was a beer with the label torn off. He took a quick drink and belched out a flame. "That isn't supposed to happen when I drink soda..." he said before sniffing the bottle and almost retching. I can't believe I just drank alchohol, in my room of all places!
-
Spike sat in his room on his bed staring into the shadow in the corner. He repeatedly slid his cell phone open and closed. As he sat beneath the dim, swinging lightbulb overhead, he thought about his non existant future. As the smoke billowed off the untouched cigarette wasting away in the ash tray, a single tear rolled down Spike's cheek. He hugged his knees up to his chest and looked over to all the used syringes on the counter opposite to him. Spike stared up at the ceiling and the four walls surrounding him before he let out a long sigh.
-
Rowan sat on the Scautty's bed quietly. "I just don't wanna lose ya... you're a big part of this band. Just try not to let it get you down." She stood and put her hand on his shoulder. She smiled softy and walked away. She opened the door quietly and walked out. She went over to the couch and sat down. Her phone vibrated as the battery died.
-
Chrono stumbled out of his room and covered his mouth as he belched again, looking like a firecracker just went off in front of him. This is why I can't drink alchohol He thought while trying to avoid getting too close to any of the walls.
-
Spike threw everything he could fit into the garbage bag. He took a final look at all the pre-rolled joints in his palm before they slipped through his fingers into the bag. He tossed all they syringes and spoons into a container and chucked them. As he threw each of the pipes in order of the way they were lined up in his drawer, he began to have second thoughts of what he was doing. He looked up into the mirror, his face lined with the deep bags below his eyes, the bloody bandages wrapped arpund his head, and the emptyness in his eyes, he finally remembered why he was doing this. He walked over to the bong on his desk and grabbed it by the top end before swinging it like a bat against the wall to have it shatter into millions of pieces. As the sound of the glass broke the silence, it felt like Spike's heart had been ripped in half. He collapsed to his knees with the realization of what he'd just done. He clenched his chest, he head pressed against the floor, leftover shards cracking under his head, he broke into tears.
-
I watched as Rowan exited the room, keeping an eye on the door she closed behind her.
I was slowly letting everything sink in - taking it in like a hot bath. I've been connotating the band's status so poorly... When throughout I could have done something about it. I looked out at the clear air outside. The evening sun cloaked the windowsill as I pondered to a conclusion; I will better this band. No matter it be for a good future or as a heirloom to leave behind to my friends... My family. I pulled out my phone and texted Spike. As I finished the text and sent it, I tossed the phone onto my desk and laid back on the bed. Change was finally there for answering to.
Spike... I'm sorry.
-
Spike's phone began to play his favorite song on his desk. Spike stopped what he was doing and looked up. He stood up, cracking more glass, and looked at his phone vibrating and ringing away. He walked over and looked at the text he'd recieved from Scautty. He wiped away his tears and read the message over and over. He pocketed his phone and walked over to the coat rack, slipping on his leather jacket and walking into the hallway. He stopped at Scautty's door and paused before he knocked. He thought for a moment. He knocked anyway.
-
I sat up from my bed, still slightly sprawled, cofortably. "Come in!" I returned my cheery voice back to the way it was.
-
Spike looked down at the doorknob. He swallowed before he gripped and turned. The door swung open and he stood in the doorway staring at Scautty. "I...I uh...got your text and I'm...I'm sorry too." Spike swallowed again. "I quit, man..."
-
I froze. "Wh- What?!" After some time on the bed, I stood to his front, looking him in his despairing eyes.
-
"I quit." Spike said again. "I'm done. Finished." He said. "I'm heading in a new direction. I did some thinking and I decided I don't want to live like this."
-
*Kistrev was at the bar with three student friends... the drinks where on him for once... hed been given a rise and the hard techno had eleviated his spirits to the level of feeling high...* i got the glow sticks man... you wanna get on the dance floor?!
-
Spike looked at Scautty's frozen face. "I figured it'd make you happy." He said.
-
I slowly eased my expression. After the news fully hit me, I grinned. "Were you always in this band to make me happy?" I put my paw on his shoulder. "I'm not going to beg you to stay, but I will ask that you think about it. Or at least keep me conviced you could be." I turned to leave the room, my paw slowly sliding off of his saddened shoulders.
-
"What are you-...oh, no. Scautty I'm not quitting the band. I'm quitting the drugs." Spike said. "I can't quit this band...You guys are all I have left."
-
drugs? who needed drugs when you where out with mates raving to the music you liked... well it seemed most of the people in the club did, by the look of theyre pupils... but Kitt wasnt one to take much in the way of drugs... catching his mates eye he burst into a smile and shouted out to the dj to give im more, more, more!
-
I tripped at the door. "Wh-- What??" I started to laugh. "I'm not sure what's so funny... That whole situation or you quitting outta nowhere, but I'm glad that's the situation!" I laughed more, in relief.
I stood again. "Haha... I didn't mean that, I'm sorry. I'm sure everyone will be here for you to the end Spike!" I wiped my eyes, and smiled.
-
Spike looked around, a bit unsure how to react. "Um...Yeah...Well...I guess I'll see you later." Spike stood in the doorway awkwardly for a second before disappearing down the hallway.
-
I continued my laughing to an ease and rested against the wall. I was a little wound tight, so that whole encounter seemed a bit awkward. More awkward than it should have been at least. I slided my back against the tapestry until I sat on the floor, a smile still on my face as I sat and rested. A laugh was just what I needed.
-
Spike sat down in his apartment in one of the old kitchen chairs. The smell of opium and bong water filled the air. He looked over at the glass shards and the garbage bag in the center of the room. He lit a cigarette and sat in a trance wondering if he could really pull this off. He looked at the bag again, wondering how much of his hard earned money was being thrown away in the sealed black plastic. His head began to hurt. "I must be crazy." He sighed and leaned back in the chair. He was surprised he hadn't ended up like Random by now.
-
Chrono is lying in the hallway, unconsious and snoring. Along with a few patches of fire around him and smoke coming out of his mouth.
-
*Revives RP*
Spike walked out of room naked with nothing but his Red and Black Thunderbird bass and down the hallway to the practice room. His eyes red from lack of sleep, and cigarette between his lips, he opened the door to the practice room and stepped inside, sifting through all the equipment.

*shields eyes*
"DUDE PUT SOME DANG CLOTHES ON!"
-
Spike looked back at Phil then down to where his clothes used to be. His eyes widened before he looked back up at Phil. "Oh, sorry..." He slid his bass over his waist and walked back to his room pressed up against the wall.
-
Vamp had just turned the corner and yelled "AHH! I'm scarred for life!"
-
I listened as the shrieks of terror rung out in the hallway from my room. I let them continue as I read through a magazine, all about merchandising.
I finally cracked open the door, hoping not to see what I didn't need to see.
The ghost was clear, so I crept down into the kitchen and prepared some soda for myself. "Anyone interested in buying band shirts? We still got a few more weeks until the gig and we'll need some way of advertisement."
-
"I'm in as long as I can get Spike's furred behind unburned from my retinas. That will haunt my dreams forever." Vamp replied, wide eyed.
-
"See here Kitt... you gonna get me the story on the gig see? cos youre a rookie... the new guy... and one good story aint enough for me give ya a job... ok?"
"yeah i here ya boss...."
Kitt was standing in front of the head of the newspaper, a foul small toad like man... Kitt tried to surpress a laugh at this thought....
"stop standing there like the sorry excuse for a feline you are! bloomin well get out there and pick up the story you need to keep your stupid job!"
-
I discontinued my soda-chugging. "Furred... behind?" I decided to leave it rhetorical and slowly went over to the couch and sat - Whatever happened, I didn't want to be scarred. "Anyways... Maybe we can get some of those pictures from that Kitt guy and use them as the pictures." I sat down, my arm resting along the back of the sofa.
-
Spike walked into the room behind Scautty sitting on the couch wearing nothing but his bass to cover his area. He walked over to the kitchen and rifled through the fridge, pulling out a beer. He pryed off the cap with one of his fangs and causually walked back out. "Sup, Scautt?" Spike asked as he passed Scautty and out the door.
-
I turned to find a split second of his tail whooshing out the door... lead out by his bare leg. "Um... Spike?" I sat up to follow him out, but thought otherwise. I stopped and slowly turned back to the couch. "Make sure you aren't scaring people off. Definitely Miss Rowan, she wouldn't let it down!"
-
Spike walked back into his room and began digging around on the floor for his jeans. Finding a pair, he gave them a sniff and shrugged. "Good enough for me." He pulled on his boxers and jeans before looking for his shirt.
-
Spike walked back out of his room, now dressed, he threw on his leather jacket and started down the hallway.
-
I made a slight glance over at the figure going on through the hallway nearby. "Oh! Good, you managed to gather decency, haha." I sat up a little on the couch, knowing I was safe from scarring exposure. "Did you hear what I said about the merch?"
-
((I'm changin my name to Blaire.. is that cool?))
-
Vamp looked through the fridge and got a piece of leftover pizza and sat on the couch. "So, the gig is in four days. We need to practice but that guy Raziel, you know the club owner's son, said we are definetly in."
-
Blaire stepped out of her hummer after being gone for a few weeks after the funeral. "Ah... it's good to be back." She smiled and walked into the apartment. She knocked on the door and walked inside. "Hello? Anyone home?" she asked looking around. She spotted Vamp and smiled happily.
-
((I'm changin my name to Blaire.. is that cool?))
(( That's fine. :) ))
"Oh, hello Miss Blaire!" I smiled as she entered. I turned back to Vamp after taking a swig of my soda. "We sure do need to practice. We just have to get everyone together at some point and do a few run-throughs. I know we can do it, like we have in the past. I just don't wanna be running rusty in the next few days."
-
Chrono was in his room, it was partially singed from the incident a few weeks ago. After his first run-in with the after-effects of alchohol, he tried to see if he could do it without the accelerant. Soon, he was spouting seven foot flames from his mouth. "Heh, not only do I have three eyes, but I'm the only memeber of my family that can breathe fire... is there no end to my uniqueness?!"
-
Blaire ran and hugged Scautty. "Oh missed you guys!" She said into his shoulder.
-
"Oh... haha!" I patted her back as she rested herself against me. "We missed you too. We were just talking about the gig happening in a few days. Good thing you're here to help cooperate now!"
-
Blaire smiled and let go of him. "Well I assume you guys have been practicing... right?" She asked looking at him worriedly.
-
Chrono walks out the room, playing the immature card by walking on all fours and then hunching up on his hind legs and snorting a wisp of fire. He then straightened himself up and chuckled. "Too childish or too scary?"
-
Blaire turned and laughed. "Childish. But so is this," She said getting on all fours and looking like a small puppy. She stood back up an brushed herself off.
-
"Well, I found out why I shouldn't drink any booze..." He took a deep breath and bleched out a fireball that dissipated within a good six feet of Blaire. "Someone put beer in my fridge, and this happened when I drank it."
-
"We were just talking about throwing a few practices before the big day. We've got a good and easy sync so we should be fine, but it's best to practice anyway."
I watched as the two showed off their childish postures. "Haha, you guys are too silly."
-
Vamp poked his head around the corner and commented, "Well look at it this way, you will have a great gag for parties."
-
Spike walked into the room and sat on the couch eating a slice of moldy pizza. "Hey guys, look what I found under the fridge!"
-
"What the--" I defended my face with my paws. "You know that could be infected, right?? And I have bad allergies..." I turned and went over to the chair across the room and sat, slowly moving my paws away from my face. "Hey... Has anyone seen Random around lately?"
-
Spike stuggled to chew on something chrunchy. He pulled it out of his his mouth and held up a round cracker-like black thing. "Hey a tomatoe!" He smiled as he finished.
-
"Oh my..." I slowly averted my eyes from Spike's discovery, hoping as to not lose my recent meals all over the floor.
-
"Look Kitt, mhm, youre a feline.... in this business, ou felines... you dont do well... so get yer head on straight rookie! you better get me that story on the gig coming up or im firing you and hiring a more competent wolf, okay?!"
*Kitt nodded, flinging his camera strap onto his shoulder he turned from the boss*
"oh and Kitt, you dont get that story, dont bother coming back eh?"
-
Phil exits his room, shaking and cringing every once in awhile, till he sits on the couch in a fetal position shaking back and forth.
-
Spike finished his pizza slice, and looked over at Phil on the couch. "Something wrong, Phil?"
-
Spike finished his pizza slice, and looked over at Phil on the couch. "Something wrong, Phil?"
"Theres a reason they call the game FEAR"
-
Spike laughed. "Oh C'mon, it can't be that bad. What is it like FPS or something? Where is it? I'll show you how it's done."
-
"Haha!! You kids and your fears..." I sat up and walked on, following Spike into the other room to observe his hosted skill in video games.
-
Spike laughed. "Oh C'mon, it can't be that bad. What is it like FPS or something? Where is it? I'll show you how it's done."
"No you can't.... Alma is just plain awful, not because she jumps out at you with monsters, but psychological terrors"
Phil said while following the so amazing Spike
"Besides I beat the game, doesnt mean its not scary!"
-
Spike rolled his eyes as he turned on the console. He started a new game and started the whole run through, set up, and intro, a sweat breaking a suspense built up. "AHHHHH!!!!" Spike yelled when nothing happened on the screen. He looked at Phil and Scautty. "Sorry, just testing."
-
Blaire smiled. "Well maybe you should stick to no so nasty stuff. You need vodka or something." She laughed at her comment and went and sat on the couch.
-
Chrono sat down with her and sighed. "It was the alchohol, vodka would just make it worse!"
-
"Nah... I think it was just the carbonation," she snickered. Blaire situated so she could rest her head on his shoulder.
-
"Yeah Chrono, stay away from the club soda or you'll be spewing napalm." Vamp said and did a corny rimshot on the drum set. "Look, I'm so good I have my own sound effects." he joked.
-
"Wow Spike." I stepped back as he attempted to jitter the group. "So are you gonna play or what? I haven't played scary games in awhile..." I snickered a little.
-
"I...am...Scautty." Spike sat playing FEAR. He was haunched over like he usually is when in gamer mode. His fingers rapidly tapping away on the controller, while the other hand lit a cigarette as he played. He blew a ring, getting back into the game, totally pwning any n00b that dared get in his way. Deep inside his mind, he was being traumatized by the freaky characters and graphics of Alma's wrath.
-
To lighten the mood, Vamp got a mouthful of 120 proof vodka, lit a lighter and spewed a large fireball into the air, "Remind you of anyone?" he said eyeing Chrono with a stupid grin on his face.
-
Chrono grunted before snorting out a jet of flame, almost hitting the carpet with it. "Only two minutes and I'm already a form of amusement..."
-
"Buddy," Vamp said as he pat Chrono's back, hard "that's how it works around here, your in or affiliated the band, you are an object of amusment. Like when Scautty, Spike and Random gave me grief for a month because I tripped on the way to the bathroom and my head landed in the toilet."
-
Chrono sighed "Well because of one mistake in drinking, I'm probably going to be stuck a walking flame-thrower... then again, that does make me more of my species than my parents or my siblings, none of them can breathe fire even if they drink... and boy could my parents drink" he reflected with a chuckle. He never got beat by his parents during their drunken stupor, because they usually pass out on the couch or bed when they get home.
-
"Buddy," Vamp said as he pat Chrono's back, hard "that's how it works around here, your in or affiliated the band, you are an object of amusment. Like when Scautty, Spike and Random gave me grief for a month because I tripped on the way to the bathroom and my head landed in the toilet."
"Haha, I remember that!" I turned away from the grotesque TV screen, pointing at Vamp. "'Hasn't anyone told you drinking from the toilet is rude?' Haha, the good old days!" I grinned.
-
Spike laughed. "It was a better time." He said, remembering back when they were younger.
-
"Less talk about toilet adventures, more FEAR"
-
"Now now Phil, gaming takes time...You cant just willy nilly the whole game. It takes strategy not stress." Spike said, still tapping away at the controller.
-
"Haha, yeah, because the game kinda covers the stress pa--" Spike's on-screen character was buffeted by a fast sudden clawing of some strange creature. I jumped a bit back, swinging my body away from the screen a bit. "Jeez!!"
-
"Oh yes. So much strategy is needed to kill anything that moves." Vamp said in a mock-jeeves accent. "Anyway, Scautty,Spike, remember when Random was tightening the strings on his guitar, and it got way to tight, snapped, and whipped him in the face. That was hilarious." Vamp continued.
-
"Haha, yeah! THat was the best..." I kept my caution directed at the TV screen, for who knew when another cretinous anomaly would decide to pick on my jittery nerves.
(( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2826679 New song. ;) ))
-
Spike laughed. "Remember my bass choriography? The bass spun right off my shoulders and took out that hardcore dancer?"
-
"that was freakin' hilarious!" Vamp commented
-
Spike laughed. "Remember my bass choriography? The bass spun right off my shoulders and took out that hardcore dancer?"
"You jerk, THAT WAS MY BROTHER!"
*tackles spike*
-
"AAAGGHHHH!!!!" Spike wrestled with Phil on the floor, knocking into furniture and knocking bottles and equipment to the floor. He pressed his paw into Phil's face. "Get off me!"
-
I sat and watched as the human and the fox brawled at it. "Haha, wow. I remember the one time I forgot to put the top on the cymbal and hit it. It sliced almost through my whole foot!" I pointed down at my shoes.
-
Spike and Phil were still fighting on the floor. Spike growled as he tried to get loose of Phils hold.
-
Chrono saw the fight break out and blew Blaire a heart outline of fire before getting between them. "Hey, stop this retarded fighting, what happened, happened!"
-
"YEAH, PHIL! Listen to the sound producer!" Spike growled.
-
Getting off of spike, Phil just stormed out of the room just really angry/confused.
-
Chrono got Spike off the ground before walking back to the couch and stretching.
-
Spike dusted himself off and sat back down on the couch with Scautty. "You wanna take over the game?" He asked, offering the controller.
-
Keeping my gaze at the screen, I accepted the controller Spike offered. I pushed the buttons and toggled the control sticks in combination to play the game. My moves weren't as flowed out as Spike's, but I knew how to play... and survive.
-
Vamp who had been drinking a Sprite the entire time, tossed the can in the trash across the room, looked at the motly crew of a band that he was happy to be a, "Y'know, we're the oddest group of people I've ever encountered, except for that brazilian drag show group that I saw walking down the street last month, but none the less, we are weird with a capital 'W'. I like it." he said with the same stupid grin.
-
Spike grinned and looked up at Vamp. "This just occured to you NOW?" He asked, breaking into laughter.
-
I listened in on their conversation as I continued tapping on the controller in my sweating paws. My strain was giving me a slight headache, but... I HAD to win.
-
Blaire opened her eyes as she awoke on the couch. "woah... Jet lag."
-
"Oh, mornin' Miss Blaire." I said this as I continued to play on the game. I had gotten so far... There was no stopping my streak!!
-
Kitt stopped on the sidewalk, looking up at the band's apparntents.... his guts felt like they where renching themselves from his body... if he didnt get this story, boy was he in deep...
-
Spike was sitting on a recliner in the corner of the room watching Scautty play. He was engraving his name into a beer can with his knife.
-
Chrono stretched out, still asleep on the couch, his head on Blaire's lap after basically going a full 360 degrees of turning on the couch.
-
Spike stood up. "K guys, I'm starvin'. I'm going out to get a pizza for us. Be back soon." He walked out the door of the apartment and walked down stairs. He pulled his pack of smokes from the pocket of his leather jacket and slipped one in between his lips. He walked out the door to see Kitt and froze. "KITT! You're back old buddy!" He stretched out his arms and gave him a hug. "I was just grabbing a pizza, wanna join?" Spike asked, lighting up his cigarette.
-
Kitt hugged the unexpected Spike back.. "yeah sure... pizza..." he turned from the appartment with spike, his tail swished nervsouly behind him as they walked along the sidewalk... "sooo... hows everything for you?"
-
Blaire smiled and sat up. "Watcha playin?" She asked.
-
As soon as Blaire got up, Chrono's head hit hard enough on the couch to where he woke up and also fell to the ground from the sudden attempt at making himself upright. "Thats...going to hurt in the afternoon..." Chrono slowly got up and saw the game of FEAR was there for the playing. He dashed for the controller and set up his profile before playing. "Muahahaha"

"Oh jeesz Chrono your gonna scare the crap outta yourself...."
-
Blaire smiled and sat up. "Watcha playin?" She asked.
I slowly turned, creeping my stare into hers. "FEEEEEAR..."
After a pause of silence, I smiled and then broke into a laugh. "It's a fun game!" I looked back at the screen.
-
Kitt hugged the unexpected Spike back.. "yeah sure... pizza..." he turned from the appartment with spike, his tail swished nervsouly behind him as they walked along the sidewalk... "sooo... hows everything for you?"
"Things have been holding up." Spike replied. "How are things with you? How's the job going?" He asked, chuckling.
-
"I love that game!" She smiled and continued to watch.
-
"Things have been holding up." Spike replied. "How are things with you? How's the job going?" He asked, chuckling.
"the job? ugh, not so great mate.... lifes hard as a rookie... i dont get the next report... im deadmeat as far as the boss is conserned...." Kitt smiled wealky at Spike as they walked around the corner of the block....
Suddenly his phone vibrated in his pocket, struggling for a second to get it out he listened to his mate on the other end...
"naaw, naw not tonight.. jeez... god you know i cant... look im bloomin busy here... yeah if your job was on the line i think you'd be pretty snappy too! fine, yeh, fine... tomorrow? sure..."
Kitt shoved the mobile back into his jeans and, with one paw, and a sigh of exasperation, ruffled back his hair...
-
I slowly turned, creeping my stare into hers. "FEEEEEAR..."
After a pause of silence, I smiled and then broke into a laugh. "It's a fun game!" I looked back at the screen.
Chrono cocked an eyebrow (if he had any :o) at Scautty. "I'm playing Fear he-" he instantly turns back to the screen to see his character dead and 'game over' on the screen, and his jaw dropped. "What just killed me?!"
-
"ANYTHING can kill you in games like thi--" A cretinous zombie figure came out of nowhere, scaring me half to death, and killed my character.
"NO!! I almost had it!" Facepaw.
-
Vamp just stared at Chrono's inferior gaming skills and grabbed a controller, "Respawn, Scautty. Let's try again."
-
Chrono gets about half-way through the game, then dies because he makes a single mis-step to the left. "This is almost as bad as Jak 2...its like I have to dodge every single bullet..."
-
*takes the controller from Vamp, and gets his favorite loadout of weapons, the HV penetrator, the assault rifle, and the Spas-12, and uses a combination of slow motion, and the environment to kill the Replica soldiers, to press onwards.*

Spike watched Kitt put the phone away. "Job's on the line? Didn't you just start or something!? Man, glad I didn't take that job after high school. So what's your next story supposed to be anyway?" He asked as they neared the pizza place.
-
"job on the line? my job IS the line.... ugh, you wanna be a journalist, you gotta be a rookie... you gonna be a rookie, your jobs on the line.... oh, m'next story? well... actually s'upposed ta be bought you guys n' your upcoming gig.... man, you ever wanna swap.. YOU can be the journalist, and i'l play at the gig..... shame i cant play very well though...." The door of the pizza place jingled as the pair went in...
-
Spike laughed. "I don't think that would work out well for either of us." He told the guy behind the counter the order and paid in cash. Spike was handed the pizza he had ordered earlier. He thanked him and turned to walk out the door with Kitt. "You need our story? maybe we can help you out! Scautty would know what to do."
-
Kitt stopped for a second when they left the pizza place and grabbed a hot chicken wrap from a street stall... catching up with spike he took a bite.. "mffm!" and swallowed.. "mmm, yeah.. thanks.... and about it not working out for either of us... your definatly right, cant imagine me playin bass...." He laughed before taking another bite from the wrap...
-
Vamp gave Phil a light punch on the shoulder and took the controller back, "Don't touch my controller. remember?" he said in a slightly irritated tone.

"Who're you talkin too? Spike isnt even in this room" Phil replied, using HIS dragon xbox 360 controller to play FEAR.

"mmm, yeah.. thanks.... and about it not working out for either of us... your definatly right, cant imagine me playin bass...." He laughed before taking another bite from the wrap...
"Yeah, we'll talk to the guys when we get back. I know how much they want their pizza." Spike said, lighting a cigarette as he struggled to carry the box without burning his paws underneath.
-
"Who're you talkin too? Spike isnt even in this room" Phil replied, using HIS dragon xbox 360 controller to play FEAR.
"BE CAREFUL. The game KNOWs..." I set the controller owned by Vamp down on the floor, and stood up to exit the room. "Play nicely, now!" I exaggerated the mood change as I left the room.
As I neared my own room, out the window I saw Spike walking down the sidewalk farther down with Kitt, so I grabbed my jacket and went for the door.
"Hey, guys!" I chased after them, a few blocks down from our apartment. Once I had caught up, I heaved a breath and steadied myself back to a walk. "What's up Spike? Hey Kitt! How's it going?"
-
Kitt was just chewing on a mouthfull of wrap when Scautty jumped out from behind him...
"MLAAAGH!"
Jumping off the sidewalk, almost getting hit by a speeding car and dropping what remained of his wrap...
"Jeez Scautt, ya scared the hell outa me.."
-
Spike whipped around. "Scautty! Just in time! Nothing's happenin', just getting us the food. What's up with you? You seemed in a bit of a hurry to catch up." Spike laughed.
-
Blaire stretched out on the couch. "Alright... time for practice." She smirked looking at them all.
-
The word 'practice' ment little to Chrono since his only job was to fine-tune the songs they recorded and maybe check the soundboards during shows and concerts. He paused his game and walked over to Blaire, whispering in her ear "Does this mean we'll be alone?" he went back to his game, un-pausing it but occasionaly looking back at Blaire with a face of mock innocense.
-

"Haha, my bad Kitt!" I gave an innocent smile.
Spike whipped around. "Scautty! Just in time! Nothing's happenin', just getting us the food. What's up with you? You seemed in a bit of a hurry to catch up." Spike laughed.
"Haha... Sounds fun. Just wanted to join you guys is all. Everyone else is up in the room having a verbal throwdown over that game. At least the ones you would expect to do that." I continued walking alongside the two, putting my paws in my side pockets. "So where are we pickin' up the eats?"
-
"well my eats is now on the road back there.. but i think Spike got you guys pizzas already..."
Kitt followed the pair before ducking into an alley and lighting up a nip, catching back up with the group...
"hows you then Scautt?"
-
Spike held up the pizza in front on Scautty. "I already got it." He said. He opened the box and showed the pizza covered with every topping the band liked. He offered slices to Scautty and Kitt.
-
"well my eats is now on the road back there.. but i think Spike got you guys pizzas already..."
Kitt followed the pair before ducking into an alley and lighting up a nip, catching back up with the group...
"hows you then Scautt?"
"Ha, that was my bad!" I apologized again as I accepted the topping-crested pizza from Spike. "I've been pretty good. Getting psyched for the gig coming up!!"
-
Spike laughed. "I'm excited too...but this time I think I'll tone down on the bass spin. I don't need another fight with Phil because I would have taken his brother out again."
-
Kitt munched happily on the pizza as he listened to the two chat... taking a last drag and grounding out the nip before taking another bite...
"hows the rest of the band then?"
-
"They're holding up. I'm not as much through withdrawl sucks. I haven't touched a speck of crack since last week so I'm a bit on edge still."
-
"well keep it up buddy... anyhow, glad to hear the rest o ya are good...."
*Kitt finished off his slice of pizza as he walked with the other two..*
-
"They're holding up. I'm not as much through withdrawl sucks. I haven't touched a speck of crack since last week so I'm a bit on edge still."
"You're doing a good job! Just keep it up, it's all good." I smiled, patting him on the back. We continued walking until the apartment was out of sight.
-
Blaire grew bored of the surrounding apartment. "Chrono, Care to join me? I feel like going to the beach or something." She smiled and looked at him happily.
-
Chrono stiffened up, then his fingers became a blur as he saved and turned off the game. He was already at the door with a black-red trenchcoat and pair of wrap-around shades, and his hair went from being a mohawk to a mane that covered his third eye. "Shall we go then?" he said with a rather sly smile.
-
"I liked the mohawk more," She laughed. "You should make the tips green." She smiled and grabbed her keys. She walked out the front door and skipped down the stairs. "Lets go bud," She said looking back.
-
"I'll make it a mohawk when you get me a headband to match this outfit, and I think black tips would be better since I have a red mane, and not a black one. But, you seem to know more about punk hairstyles than I do, so I'll follow it for now..." he smiled casually as he vaulted down the stairs, his legs bending to disperse the shock.
-
"Well we can die the hair black then because I'm telling you... Green and black would look amazing." She smiled and walked out of the large steel door. Her hummer was parked just outside. "Alright, You have everything? We can stop at a shop to get u a bandanna or something." She unlocked the doors and opened the driver side.
-
"Unless I need to bring a firearm...I have everything" Chrono said in a joking tone when he got to the passenger side, opened the door, and almost jumped in.
-
"Well we should stop to get you a bandanna or something to cover up that Eye of yours. No need to read people who you don't know," She laughed.
-
"The eye only does that if you make eye contact, it usually just puts you in a illusion similar to smoking pot..." He snickered at times of his past where he tried to stare at his third eye, and to only feel like he was just being weirder than usual.
-
Spike continued to walk with his drummer and reporter. "So...where exactly are we going?" He asked, a little confused.
-
"i lost track of what was going on after you gave me pizza ^_^ "
Kitts mobile rang and pulling a face of annoyance he rummaged in his pocket before retrieving it...
"sup?.. err, no... look im on the other side of town... well sure.. no, look in the car.. sheesh theyre in the car! oh for.. just look ok... jeez..."
Flipping the mobile closed he shoved it back into his pocket...
"the cameras are in the car, i told him that... does he listen? no... god..."
Looking up he caught Spike's eye and tried hard not to laugh...
"some o' the people ive gotta work with are impossible..."
-
I watched as Kitt hung up on the caller. "Haha, sometimes I know what you mean." I look over to Spike, a sheepish grin on my face. I nudged his shoulder slightly. "Haha, so did you want to go back and get the cameras?"
-
"uh, no... John can find em... hopefully... say... where are we going exactly?"
Kitt stopped and leant against a lampost, the dull orange light flickering as the sky overhead grew dark and inky...
-
Spike laughed hysterically. "I literally JUST asked that Kitt." He said, pressing his cigarette out on the bottom of his boot and flicking the butt away.
-
"Haha, I'm not sure. I guess fresh air can do all of us some good." I myself leaned against the brick building opposite Kitt's perched spot, and rubbed my paws together.
-
"fresh air? well sure..." Kitt looked up at the flickering lamp before looking back down at the still laughing Spike "hey, i wasnt paying much attention... maybe as far as you know my grandmother was a parrot ;) "
-
I chuckled at Kitt's questioning. At least he understood - I was one to take nature and natural things to an advantage. Definitely at such opportunities as this, where everyone was enjoying themselves and not fighting.
I continued looking off as Kitt turned back to continue conversation with Spike, thinking more on such a comfortable scenario.
-
Kitt lit up again, listening to Spike, before turning to Scautty... "so, hows this upcoming gig going?"
-
I broke out of my daze. "Oh! Well, it's going to be pretty big! We've been having chronic sessions together, the band. We're pretty much ready to hit the stage." I smiled in reassurance. If only the anticipation for the concert's arrival wasn't tainting my display of satisfaction.
-
Kitt pulled out and flipped open a battered notepad, sticking the nip into one corner of his mouth he scribbled down a few notes... "you dont mind do ya Scautt? but i gotta get the scoop on you guys with this upcoming concert or my job goes down" he mimed with one paw, falling until it hit the notepad where he opened the paw in a mimic of "splat"....
-
"We have to save his job!" Spike yelled, acting over dramatic. "...But naw, the concert will most likely be the best thing this city's ever seen in a while."
-
Vamp sat in the depths of the jungle of T-shirts and pizza boxes that was his room. He sat infront of his sugar cube project that he had been working on for 2 years. He was working on a model of himself out of sugar cubes and glue. Childish but it helped him think. He was thinking about how much he craved a Monster and went down to grab one from the fridge and as he sipped the fizzy concotion, he pulled out his cell phone and dialed Kitt's number.
-
Kitts mobile rang in his pocket... his ringtone playing Sandstorm >.> he hurried to grab it and pulled it out... "Čao maňo! Že vilubyťé nad zemô?" he anwered, leaning back against the lampost.. wondering whether he had enough money to run over and grab a pasty from the soon to shut bakery opposite....
-
"Hey, Kitt, remember? Me no hable Slovak." Vamp said with a light chuckle, "When are you guys getting back?"
-
I looked over to Kitt, now on his phone. "Who's that?" I pointed my paw at the phone he held in one paw, a notepad in the other. Haha, he sure looks like a busy bee.
-
Kitt looked over to Scautty "its vamp.... wondering when we're gonna get back.... whatdo i tell im?" Kitt watched the bakers.... if he could get off the phone soon.... that pasty would be his.... "hey vamp... sorry mate, thought you where someone else.... er, im not sure when we'l be back... just asking scautt now.."
-
"Tell him we'll be back in about 20 minutes." Spike said.
-
Kitt told Vamp that they'd be there in around 20minutes... before hanging up and running across the street to the bakery and grabbing a pasty... walking back over to Spike and Scautt, munching on the pasty...
-
Random emerges from the deep dark crevasse that he calls a room. He looks at the group at the bakery that just so happens to be near the apartment. "I wonder how long they've been standing there," Random says, brushing a layer of dust off Scautty's shoulder. In his hand a moldy pasty decays slowly. The rest of group seem to be just as dead, or something as Scautty, so Random attempts to shake them awake one by one screaming, "Wake up," in their ears as curios onlookers give him strange glances.
-
Vamp downed the rest of his monster and crushed the can against his head, a trick that Scautty taught him, and jumped over the back of the couch to put on a movie. He decided to put on Saw 5, after all, what better in times of boredom than mindless violence?
-
Random returned to the apartment to see Vamp sitting on the couch watching some mindless violence and decided to join. "I bet they all die," Random said bored.
-
Seeing a guy shredded by flying nails onscreen, without blinking he replied sarcastically, "Haha, your funny. They will be back in about twenty minutes."
-
Kitt walked into the apartment with Spike and Scautty, Vamp was watching Saw 5, screaming coming from the TV...
"heya"

Spike hopped onto the couch and watched with Vamp. "I never finished this." He said, referring to the movie.
-
Vamp nodded as the screen flooded with blood and screams filled the room,as a man was ripped apart, "I'm hungry for steak." he said without taking his eyes of the screen. He turned his head and saw the other four staring at him, "What? I am."
-
Kitt sniggered, watching Vamp with an air of incredulity....
"really?"
He turned back to the TV, what was left of the guy strewn across the room..... he turned back to Vamp
"bon apetite?"
-
"Haha, awesome!" I watched as the horror flick reeled on, displaying the gruesome deaths that met Jigsaw's grasp.
Brutal. I sat down on the arm of the couch next to Spike.
-
Kitt sat on the other arm of the couch, cringing slightly as a guy got blown apart by several shotguns set off by a trip wire.... "yeah... awesome" ._.
-
"Well, I don't think he felt that." Vamp commented at the shotgun guy.
-
"oh, course not.. i mean... s'only... uh.. two shotguns to the face..." Kitt cringed again, but couldnt tear his eyes away from the screen...
-
"You guys know when the gig is? Don't you think we should have a practice or something?" Spike asked, still watching the screen.
-
"I dunno, ask Scautty." Vamp mumbled, focused on senseless violence.
-
"It was an open question." Spike pointed out.
-
((Lol, I can't believe this tread instantly restarted because I made a single post more as a joke then anything else, and to the moderator, thank you, you're awesome, I didn't know that rule but I'll respect it in the future.))
Random Watched the T.V. thinking that his hallucination were much more frightening. "The blood, is a bit excessive, and the number of sequels, even more so." Random blinked a few times and yawned, "Yeah we should have a practice, I feel like we need to do something. Oh, we should probably also decide on what songs were going to do. Oh, and a style would be good. I'm good with anything alternative to metalcore, none of that grindcore b.s,"
-
Kitt scuffed his paws on the carpet, feeling out of place amongst the band... he flinched as someone else died in a suitably gorey fashion...
-
((Psst, Kitt, what do you do for the band again?))
-
((Kitt's a reporter who follows us around and documents everything we do or he's out of the job....:P))
Spike lit another cigarette, stood up, fixed his jacket, and looked over at Kitt while he billowed smoke from his nostrils. "Hey, Kitt, come down the hall with me. I need some help moving some amps."
-
((ya, im a reporter and im supposed to be doing a report on the band and their next gig :3 ))
Kitt looked up from the TV at Spike... "sure" standing up he followed Spike out into the hall
-
Spike walked out into the hallway and looked back at Kitt. "I'm sorry there ain't much to write about. Band life just isn't as exciting as people would think." He said, walking up to the door to his room and jumbling around with his keys. He opened the door and led Kitt inside. He kicked old dishes and clothes out of the way and walked over to where he kept his amps.
-
"s'no biggey... s'long as i get the story done i keeps my job..." following Spike into the room he looked round at the jumble of odd clothes and assorted miscelaneous stuff... "where you need that amps then?"
-
"We need to haul them over to the practice room down the hall." Spike blew a cloud of smoke. "I swear, this place ain't big enough for any of us." He said, tripping over a small coffee table while he carried the jumble of equipment.
-
Kitt followed behind spike, carefull not to trip over the same coffe table... "bigger th'n my place... m' livin in an aprtment with some of my other mates" he struggled through the doorway behind Spike, carrying the jumble of amps and cables with difficulty...
-
Spike chuckled. "That sucks. I don't suppose you'd rather be living here." He joked. The room Spike called home was a complete sty.
