Title: Across The Universe
Post by: iKero-chu™ on June 26, 2009, 10:54:19 PM
While I was sleeping over Kuromisuki's house, we rented three movies.
This was one of 'em and it was surprisingly really good.
I thought it would be horrible to be honest.
D':
I got back-slapped.
I love the music, the plot, and especially the trippy looking scenes.
xD

What about you guys?

I thought it was okay, but I didn't think it measured up to all the hype I heard about it. I liked the beginning of the movie a lot, but some parts were kinda "eh".

Really?
At first when I heard about it in movies I thought it was in 3D, Rofl.

The "Strawberry Fields Are Forever", "I Want You(Shes So Heavy)", and "Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite" we're the most awesome scenes.

One thing I was kind of disappointed about was that "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" wasn't in the movie at all until the credits. It's my favourite Beatles song, and I really wish it could've been in an actual scene.

I love Across the Universe! :-[
I figured that I'd love it anyway because I love the Beatles, and I was right.
Music was awesome of course and the plot was good.
You can't go wrong with a love story when it comes to me. Heh. :)
And the trippy scenes are pretty sweet.
The "Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite" scene is my favorite.
But I love the whole thing because I know all the songs (except one, two max...but watching it teaches me the words anyway) and I can have fun singing along & laughing at all the funny/trippy stuff and enjoy the story.
