Falling together, falling apart
hold on to my heart, now that's a start,
close your eyes and hold my hand,
prop me up, I can hardly stand.
The thunder claps, the waves roar,
i'll lean on you, can't take much more,
looking for that open shore, openly I wish for more,
you grab my arm, you freeze my core.
Your forest eyes, your venom smile,
my darkest dream, my brightest smile
look out, breathe in,
will i win? could you lose?
Hold my waist, stroke my hair,
beat me rotten, make me bleed,
do what you want, or what you have to,
love is but a sweet cruelty, take me down.
High in the sky, under the ground,
burrow my brain, lash my body,
cold and sweet, warm and sour,
falling together, falling apart.
