Title: Friend or Foe 2.0
Post by: Somebody on June 19, 2009, 01:34:45 AM
Rebirth of a popular roleplay, giving it a second go to try and tell the tale.

The setting is that you've been transported to a alternate universe where you are your fursona, as well as others fortunate or unfortunate enough. It is a dark ages like place filled with magic and wonder, to the one side of a forested valley is a light kingdom filled with the generally good folk of society, also fellow furs. To the otherside is a dark kingdom ruled by the sorceror who put you here. There are dungeons to be pilfered, crypts to be delved into and many treasures to be had across the land.

Problem is, what if you miss your loved ones back in the real world. Would you forsake the fursona you always wanted to be to defeat the evil sorceror to get back to them? What if you liked it and didn't want to return, would you turn your back on your friends here to stop them from accomplishing such a task? Are you a friend or a foe?

For the basis of this roleplay all will start in the good city of Brenshire with little more then ragged clothes and your wits. From there form fellowships to get home or to prevent others from getting home. Loot and find treasure to help accomplish your goals. Remember the forces of evil are about as well and plan to destroy and kill. But is the evil in the land the true threat?

-No God modding, try to be reasonable and respecting of others characters.

- Be reasonable in your powers. You just got here you aren't gonna be a Destroyer of worlds.

- Read and be mindful of other's posts. Makes a roleplay more fun if everybody is consistant with all the happenings of the roleplay.

- Insta kills. if you gotta fight and kill somebody give them a chance to fight back and after a while then kill them off.

- Dead players may restart a new character from scratch, with nary but rags and wits again. This way we can all continue to have fun roleplaying.

- Everybody is to start as their fursona, you had just awoken as them where prior you were your human self. This naturally would be a bit jarring for some. Try to roleplay accordingly.

Try to think deep down, would you really want to leave this world and those who are your friends and family behind? The consequences of your character's actions determines their fate.

Friend or foe? Make your choice

A pair of green eyes woke and tried to adjust, taking in the weird sights of their surroundings. "Where... where am I?" he wondered as he sat up. Ge was lying in a unfamiliar bed in a unknown room. It was dark save for the mid day light shining through the stained glass windows into the wooden room. The reptile paniced, jumping to his feet. "Help!" he yelled before noticing his clawed hands."What has happened to me?!" he felt a bit dizzy and sat on the bed to steady himself. "Ok keep it calm, be rational." he said in futility looking about the room. There was a broad mirror on a stand on the opposite side of the room. He took a deep breath and walked up to it and nearly fell from shock. "I..I look like Tezztor, but how?" The words escaped him and the recognition of him as Tezztor was a comfort, if a little one. He felt alone and bewildered but determined to find out how this has happened. With gathered strength he stepped forth from his room and made his way into the streets, in search of answers.

She grabbed the cover and pulled them over her face as a small sliver of sunlight leaked inside the chamber in which she was lying. Groaning, she sleepily rose looking to the window. Odd. Unlike her room, it looked to be boarded up, and an old musty smell rose to greet her. "What in the..?" Her room wasn't musty either. She kept it clean. Reaching to where she was lying, she grabbed a thin cloth and wrapped it around her knuckle. She thought and meant to break the window to let more light in, but just as she did, her eyes adjusted. She could see clearly despite the darkness. She noticed that she had four fingers on each hand.. And not only that, but they looked like Rigor's. Her heart began pounding in her chest as she looked down to see that she had no breasts, and there was a glowing orange ribcage. Not only that, but she had a muzzle and a long glowing neon purple tongue. Smiling she realized that she had become her fursona, and confirmed it once she glanced across the room to catch her reflection in a broken mirror. "I'm.. I'm.." She began to laugh uncontrollably as she rared back her covered fist and bashed it through the window. It broke on the first try.. But to say it broke would be an understatement. It shattered into millions of pieces, and without hesitation, she leaped through, finding herself on the streets.

Once out into the streets he found himself staring down the road almost like looking into a dream, he could hardly believe this was really happening. The sense of loneliness knawed at his very soul, there was no friends to turn to, no family. Just a eerie sense of the world going about like had always been, like his reality was but a mere thought in the back of his mind. He never liked the unknown, the comfort of knowledge always preceeded his actions. Now he just had to figure things out, get a grasp on his situation. The one thing he knew for sure was that he was Tezztor, a deadly raptor. Thought the coolness of the raptors persona as well as his skills seemed to elude him. "Maybe it just takes time for my mind to settle in." he said quietly almost trying to reassure himself as he made his way down the street. Calming himself further he came to a conclusion, he needed to form a base of operations and get some decent clothes as in the moment he resembled a street beggar. Having a place to goto when certainly make things seem more at ease.

The street was bustling with activity, various merchants hawking off their wares and services. To the left an old wolf selling fine cloth and to the right female escorts trying to tempt a few gold from passer bys. Something seemed a bit off though, everybody was either wolves or foxes. 'Where are all the reptiles and avians?" he asked himself as he bumped into an ol transient. Not even really bothered by the actual incident the old wolf seemed more worried that he was hit by a raptor. It wasn't long before more furs surrounded Tezztor, yelling and swearing at him like he had just murdered the king. Unsure what to do he felt a bit at odds, killing any of them surely wouldn't help because most likely they'd get him in a rush. Looking around for an exit all he saw was the angry maws of wolves and foxes, all a bit shorter then he bit all very threatening.

She landed awkwardly on all fours, but from a distance, it looked as if it were done gracefully and on purpose. "I'm Rigor." she whispered.. She stood up on her haunches and looked down at her fist to see the small cuts spitting out  bloody shards of glass and slowly seal up. I didn't even have to think about it. She shifted her eyes to the end of the alleyway. She hadn't been noticed. Luckily, she had bursted out of the window into an abandoned alley. She began inspecting herself, feeling down her spine to find its actual ridges protruding. She had horns, a tail, even her spiked cuffs.. She was fascinated to find that not a single detail was left out. She really had become Rigor.. And she was beautiful, just as she drew her.

Her ears perked as she heard an angry crowd at the end of the alley, and suddenly felt the urge to go see what it was.. The crowd was made up of foxes and wolves.. Fun, fun. She was finding herself impulsively thinking as her character would.. Her own thoughts on the back burner for now. Her claws clicked the cobblestone alley as she began building speed. Without warning, she bashed into one of the foxes, sending him flying forward into another. "Get him! Get him! The vermin!" She yelled continuing on her way.. "Mosh pit!" she added as an afterthought.

Waking up on the very outskirts of town, he got up and clutched at his forehead. "Whoa, gotta go to work today... " he mentioned before he glanced about as he tried to gain his bearings, then started to inspect himself in a reflection on some water. "Wait, where am I? And I don't remember not having shaved that long.." he joked as he felt on his face, feeling his whiskers and blinking at the water. "Well, at least I won't have to worry about wearing a uniform." he muttered as he got up and checked the rest of his new body out. "...but being in ripped clothing isn't my style."

He saw his legs and almost jumped. "I... I am Vosur now, no doubt about it, but I've got to get these battered things repaired or else they won't do me any good here." he mentioned as he started to walk to the area of the town that showed more activity. "Furthermore, I don't have any money, so it might be a good idea to find some way to get some..." were the thoughts running through his head, every once in a while a step being almost missed as his legs had apparently took quite a beating prior to his getting here.

As I slept, I could hear the sounds of my surrounding environment, they didn't sound familiar to my ears, so I woke myself out of bed and looked around my new living space. "What is this," I murmured, attempting to clearing my throat, "where am I?" I tried to clear my grating voice again, but to no avail, it didn't feel like there was something stuck in my throat, but something wrong with it. The place wasn't familiar at all, it looked to me like an old Renaissance-style home, with non-laminated wood floors and many paintings on the walls, mostly of buildings and scenery, but no people, and none of them looked to be photographs. "How odd..." Walking over to the bathroom, and noticing that the mirror is broken into several shards of glass on the floor, and the flush toilet was replaced by a pit toilet in a board surface at sitting height. "This is just getting weirder and weirder by the minute." turning away from the bathroom, I hear -and feel- a thump behind me. I turn my head to see a large lizard tail, trailing behind me. I fell into panic mode, not knowing where I was, or what I was for that matter. My hands had two fingers and one thumb, I want back into the bathroom and picked up a piece of the broken mirror. I was afraid of what I might see, my eyes were closed as I held the shard up to my face, and was reluctant to even open them...

Trish awoke in a dark area. The girl groggily opened her eyes; she saw absolutely nothing through the darkness. what the heck... Trish thought as she tried in vain to see any source of light. Even in the dead of night at her old home she could spot some light, her alarm clock, lights from outside, her smoke detector, something at least.

The girl sat up and leaned back into the brick wall of the alley way behind her. She yelped out loud as she felt something on her back get bruised by bumping it into the wall. She immediately clutched her ears as the sound from her yell bounced off the wall and crashed into her ear drums. As the sound hit her ears, the girl yelped even louder from the pain. The girl bit her lip and moaned from the pain in her ears.

what is happening to me she thought dimly as the sound waves her ears picked up mapped out the alley way she was in. her brain drew out the alley way in her mind. Almost like the way she had seen her brother draw up video games on his computer. She slowly stood up finding no light again but seeing more patters in their rightful place based on distance from her. she shook her head and stumbled out of the alley way she was in, all the sounds from the walkway she had came into assaulted her long and sensitive ears. She put her hands over her ears to no avail. She quickly fell down in pain from the sheer volume of noise and all the patterns bouncing off the objects there, sheer sensory overload sent her unconscious.

The paws of furs grabbed at him, all with hostile intent. 'What is wrong with you people?" he yelled unsure what was going on. Had it not been for the angry mob he might of been amused by the own snakelike hiss in his voice. They shoved him and he shoved back, it was a survival situation and he wasn't going to go down without a fight. Reaching out he slammed his clawed fist into a wolf, then another not truly wanting to kill but get away. The last thing he needed was his first actions in this new world to be murder. As he fought a voice rang through the crowd, "Mosh Pit!" It struck him as odd but due to the situation he didn't really have the time to analyze its misplacement in the era. He growled and threw his weight forward, creating a break in the furred barrier. He rushed forth and down the street, ducking through alleyway to alleyway trying to hide out. At last he seemed to have found a quiet moment.

"These people act as if I killed somebody, yet I've only just arrived. What is going on here?" he huffed, finally getting to amuse over his voice. Was the first sense of being that he truly enjoyed since that shattering realization upon his supposed arrival. Had he always been Tezztor, stuck in a dream or was he a human dreaming this up? The question seemed to have no logical answer and at the moment seemed to be one of those unanswerable puzzles to life. He took a deep breath through his muzzle and he was flooded with tons of weird scents, but not just smells he seemed to understand their meanings. A wolf in heat, a territorial fox all this information flooded him. Another reptilian scent caught him, one fairly nearby.

"I saw you run into this alleyway" the female voice rang into his ears, startling him. Feeling like he had just had his heart pulled up into his throat he turned to her. "You scared me" he managed. His eyes wandered, looking her over trying to get a sense of who she was though it seemed something beyond that was controlling his actions even despite what had happened. She was an iguana of some sort, black on the top and white on the underside. She had a fine figure with very silken scales that made everything around her seem rough and crude. She moved with a grace almost otherworldly to him, like an omni-present being walking amongst a dream. Before he could lift his eyes and second figure emerged, a twin of unfathomable likeness to the first. The female giggled at his curiosity, "If you don't mind lifting your eyes above my neck for a moment maybe we can be of help to you. A raptor such as yourself should know better then to wader aimlessly through the less civilized sections of the city." She smiled and moved closer to him, looking him over as well. "Your going to need nicer clothes though and a place to stay right?" The other female jumped in as if continuing the other's conversation, seemingly like they shared a telepathic link. Jumping back and forth in perfect rythym it almost seemed like a trick show for a crowd. "By the way I am Liszardia,"The first twin mentioned. "This is my sister Nara"

Her claws continued to click rhythmically as she picked up her pace, her feelings going from excitement to panic. She just helped an angry mob for no reason, she didn't even get a chance to see what's going on.. And didn't think about the consequences. The dragoness looked back to see a few wolves and foxes pushing angrily through the crowd, and pushed over a vendor, jumping through his push stall with an odd grace she had never known before. It crashed to the road, spilling his merchandise everywhere as she made her escape.

She had caught a weird scent amid the crowd, but didn't understand it, as her brain was untrained in scent analysis. She just knew it wasn't like the wolves or foxes. There were so many scents, it wasn't like her old life.. Her senses were heightened to almost paranoia. Though at first this world seemed to be fun and games, she slowly realized that her mate was not beside her when she had awaken like he was when she had fallen asleep to take a nap with him. He was gone. Her eyes grew wide as she wondered where she was.. If he was still where she had come from and she wasn't there. She didn't understand it, how would she get back? How did she get here? Was it a dream? Couldn't be, it was too vivid. Her character seemed to be taking over as well.. And it bothered her because if Rigor came out, it would be her imagination unleashed... Which was not always a good thing.

Another glance over her shoulder revealed the angry vendor joining the few from the crowd, cursing and waving his fists. She had to find a place to hide and soon or something bad would happen, she was sure.. Her mind was reeling with everything that was happening around her.. She was so caught up in everything, she lapsed. Rigor stopped and turned to face the canines, her maw snarling into a vicious grin. "Time to have fun~"

The first thing that I saw when I finally opened my eyes was a large, scaly dinosaur-like muzzle. There wasn't much to see, as I had almost instantly dropped the mirror shard. I felt a little dizzy and lightheaded, and a slight electric jolt sensation flowed through my body, my right eye blinked repeatedly as it always did in moments of distress. "It's not right, it's not real!" I thought quickly, in an instant I closed my eyes tight for a few seconds and sharply opened them again - it was something that I found that could wake myself up from my nightmares - but I did not wake up, I looked down at my hands and feet, they were still the same; scaled and clawed at the ends, with less digits than my *normal* feet. I felt my face, first I ran my clawed fingers along my left eye ridge, it was rough and stiff like bone, and it had about a dozen short and pointy spikes along the edge, "This... is real." now fascinated, yet terrified at the same time, I then opened my toothy maw, my teeth were rounded at their bases, sharp at their tips and slightly curved. "How could this have happened?" I said, looking over the rest of my body, wearing tattered clothes that seemed to be made for my new shape and size. After I had composed myself and readied to face the world behind the front door, I took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, placing my claws on the door handle and hesitantly turning it and pulling the door open and stepping out...

Tezztor followed the two iguanas down the road, it all seemed so odd to him. First he wakes up as his pride and joy Tezztor, then he was about killed in the street for it only to run away and find two of his own characters greeting him. They were more beautiful then he imagined, very fine and athletic bodies but he guessed thats what you get when you design two travelers. They both kept looking back at him as they giggled back and forth. "What is this some kind of game?" he thought to himself a bit frustrated at their actions despite his predicament. Finally he worked up the nerve, "So... where are we going?" it seemed like the right question, not too suspicious at all considering they magically showed up at the right time. Nara turned back to him, all playfulness wiped off her face as if he had just insulted her lost mother. "We are going to our place, there you can rest while we pick you up some things." Liszardia turned to add, again with perfect timing. The raptor merely smirked, shrugged and they continued on their way.

Down the street they went, as if it were any other day in a mystical land. Traveling with them the furs didn't seem to notice him as much, like suddenly that spat earlier was just a distant memory. Out of the corner of his eye he swore he saw a familiar dragon chameleon. he rubbed his eyes just to make sure but upon opening them again she was gone. "Maybe I've just lost my mind, if I ever wake up again I'm gonna lay off the furry world a bit." he said barely audible. The two sisters turned back to look at him, then each other and Nara walked off over to one of the various merchants. Liszardia got up uncomfortably close, almost as if she were his mate pining for a loving embrace. "So what is a raptor like you doing in this parts." Tezztor, not the least bit amused raised a brow, "Robbing from the rich and giving to the poor." he said sarcastically. "To be perfectly I don't remember anything." It was a lie as he didn't want to look crazy saying he was from another world, but it would do for the time being. She smiled, "We will help you till you remember, its just nobody has seen a raptor in over 50 years. We all thought your species was extinct. It's rather exciting to see one of you."

Tezztor looked at her, accepting her kindness if only to accept any help he might get. "Nobody else seemed this happy to see me, in fact they looked as if they wanted to kill me." he offered. She looked around as if saddened by that thought. "Wolves and the Raptors of the marsh had a horrible war, but suddenly the raptors vanished as if they never were. You being here might worry some of them that raptors are back to finish what they started." she looked up into his eyes solemnly. It were as if he were a loved one being sent to war and she didn't want him to go.

It was as if she were watching a picture show.. The three had been there and before she knew it, Rigor had her hands around the neck of the fox.. She had ripped off her rags and choked him with them, snapping his neck at just the angle where he didn't die immediately.. He had to run out of breath first. The wolf, caught off guard, hesitated before jumping on her back, and digging his claws into her. Rigor let out a growl, almost sickeningly as if out of pleasure, then scooped up his arm and broke it with her tail and threw him to the ground. He was an old fellow, and just as he was pleading for his life, she got uncomfortably close and ripped out his throat with her jaws. Rigor turned for the third fellow, but by the time she had wreaked this much carnage, he had disappeared. She grinned, spitting out the chunk of flesh she had ripped from the wolf out and released a victorious roar loud enough to be heard throughout the square as a warning. Rigor glanced around to relish the fear she would instill in the others' hearts.. But there was none. No one panicked. They all continued by as if nothing had happened.

She looked down, seeing the bodies there.. And came back to. Rigor was gone just as quickly as she had come.. She had come without warning, but made it clear nothing would stand in her way.. Especially furballs. There was a metallic taste in her mouth, and at once she realized it was the wolf's blood.. But oddly enough, it didn't bother her as much as it should have. She stood in the square, covered in gore.. Numb. This world, these things.. They were too much. The world was spinning around her as she tried to focus on all the scents and sights. She wondered when and if the law would scout her out.. And didn't care. The first thing thing she had done was vandalize a house.. Now she was a murderer. What a great impression she had made thusfar.

Trish shivered slightly as she stood up again, as result from tasting the dust in her mouth from falling down a bit ago. she rubbed her aching head and tried to sort out all the information coming in through her ears. she tried to see with her eyes out of sheer habit, only to find her self still trapped in her dark world. Trish put her hands over her angular face, feeling the unfamiliar contours of her new face. this can not be happening she thought to herself as the avian slumped against the wall behind her, she yelped forgetting her new sensitive wings. the extra noise coming from inside her head sent her head pounding even harder. god mother son's of she immediately spouted off every curse she had picked up from hanging out with many different groups of kids through her early life.

needless to say her repitour (spelling is off i know) of curses was commendable. swearing out harder than more than a few sailors got the girl's mind off the pain in her head. i need to find some place quiet Trish thought to herself. figuring she could then sort this out after her head stopped pounding. the avian girl shakily stood up and covered her ears against the noise that bombarded her. she tried walking but found that with out her eye sight, she was hopeless. she soon smashed her bare foot into the wall near her. biting off a curse she walked out farther into the street. her head still pounding as she knocked into a big some one.

before she knew what was happening a big thick pair of furry warm arms wrapped around the girl. "th' street's ain't no place fer' a littl' lass like yerself" a big dog furry of some kind said to Trish giving her a solid thing to hold on to and steady herself on. "can i 'elp ya get to yer home fer the night" the dog asked worriedly to the blind girl shaking in his big arms. Trish gulped and looked up, this could be her chance out of here "I'm a bit lost sir, can you help me to the woods please?" the girl said kindly. the big dog's face changed into one of concern "yer an avian, we don't see many 'round 'ere. why do ye want to go into th' wood?" Trish's face froze. this can't be happening she thought as the realisation sunk into her thick and pounding skull. she reached up and felt the face of the kind dog. a furry thick box shaped muzzle formed in her hands. the wings, the blindness, the hearing, the big ears. Trish was somehow turned into her original fursona. phantom falcon. "are ye ok miss?" the dog's worried voice shocked Trish out of her stupor. "what's yer name?" he inquired as he set the girl down back onto the street.

Trish looked up to where she thought the dog's face would be. "I'm phantom, phantom falcon" she said a little nervously "i just need some help getting to the town gate, my brother has a small camp just outside of town, i came in here looking for some things. i just got a little lost is all" she said, quickly fabricating a lie. the dog nodded "i just came into this town me self, odd place, come on, i'll take ye to th' woods." the dog said leading ghost to the town gate.

((Sorry for how this will go, but I had to do it in dialect and script-form for easier passing back-and-forth))

He started to get used to walking with his new legs, memories of the story behind his character flooding into his head as he started his way into the center of the bustling town. His eyesight and sense of smell were both better than they were previously, but something instilled in him that he thought he recognized... a smell resembling metal. "Stop getting distracted Vosur... survival first then investigate." he muttered to himself. He eventually came across a small building, the smell of burning metal came from there. "A smithy, that would explain that scent, but it's slightly different than it was before." The two-tailed wolf slightly staggered in, seeing a large bear with one arm in a sling working on a single sword glancing up at the individual who just entered.

Bear: "An' whot cann'I do for'ye?" he spoke out in a familiar accent as he rose to his feet. "Sorry, but if'n ye'want new arm'r, you cannae have't fir 'nother week. I'm backed fir se'en tasks already." He shifted a bit as he used his good arm to adjust the sling.

Vosur: "Sorry, but I'm hoping I may be able to assist you. I do know some medicine, and I may be able to help you with what you have going. I wish to be able to earn some living and at least dress a bit better than this. May I have a look at that arm?"

Bear: "So's we got a doct'r and a cra'tsman in our midst?" he jokes as he waves to accept him back behind the customer-greeting room. "If'n you kin do what ye'say, then whate'er you make that i'nt a job is yirs, an' 10 gol' pir job ya' make that meets mae likin'. 'ow's that sound?"

Vosur: He starts taking a gentle feeling along the arm where it was bandaged up. "Compound fracture... radial... wasn't set in right." he mutters to himself before answering the bear. "Sounds good to me. How much is a normal job?" he glances up before looking back down to the arm quickly. "And I would recommend biting down on something."

The bear had a quick idea on what the two-tailed white wolf was about to do, so he grabbed a three-inch-thick leather strap and immediately bit into it as Vosur had snapped the bone out of and back into proper position before he quickly re-wrapped it and grabbed two large pieces of wood, then wrapped those around it as well before putting it back into the sling. The sheer pain caused the blacksmith bear to bite completely through the leather, but he remained still as the pain seemed to subside fairly quickly.

Bear: He spat out the piece of leather and dropped whatever remained of the other parts. "'undred fir mail, 'undred-fi'ty fir plate, an' fi'ty for s'ards. An' thank'ye Doc... an' whot's yer name ag'n?"

Vosur: He paused for a moment, looking up at the bear and adjusting the sling that the bear had improvised for himself. "Vosur Aeon. And no "doc", please. I'd rather earn my keep, Sir."

Bear: He laughed a bit, using his good hand to slap Vosur on the back. "Jus' call me "Ba'r", 'm one fir no formalities 'ither. But, since ye'saved me'business and me'arm..." he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small pouch, dropping it at Vosur's feet. "Thir's twenty gold an' yer'more an'welcome t' use th' 'prentice-house. 've never had 'ne, but ye'need to dress better th'n rags fir t'marrow's wirk. B'tter hurry 'fore soon sets!"

Vosur bows out of respect and picks up the pouch, seeing the money in it and wanders out, a tight grip on his first earning for the day as he looked about the rest of the busy square, his eyes scanning for a tailor.

As I walked through the door, I felt nervous and precarious, but kept as calm of an appearance as I could manage with this new face. "I have to find help, and find out how this happened to me." I thought to myself as the sunlight briefly blinded my eyes, it was as bright as it had always been, but this time it felt like my eyes were somewhat more sensitive to its harshness. Within a couple seconds, I saw that everyone around the streets were anthropomorphic creatures of all colors, shapes and sizes. "No way..." quietly I spoke, and my mouth hung open with disbelief. A few dreadful stares were made at me, and I snapped out of my awestruck state. "What are you staring at? Go on, git!" The few Anthros that once stood there staring at me now hurried away, probably to avoid getting eaten. "I could get used to this!" Likely if I had been in my Human body, those guys would have beaten me to a pulp, or so I imagined. This new sense of power made me feel good, like I had a real stand in life rather than just an opinion. I felt like I could coerce the world into my convictions, make people see things the way I saw them, but little did I know that I was the one being indoctrinated into a malevolent belief...

Vosur started to look about in the town, asking from merchant to merchant on where a tailor was, eventually coming across a seamstress about 2 alleyways away from the blacksmith. He entered, which the avian seamstress almost turned him away if he didn't raise up the moneybag and shake it in her view.

Seamstress: "Ah... customer, not beggar. And what can I do for you, Effendi?" she gave a slight bow to him.

Vosur: It took him a moment to recognize the term Effendi. "How much would 5 black shirts, 5 black pants, 2 brown shirts, 2 brown pants, and a triple-layer apron my size will cost me?" Looks into his bag to see what money he had, counting in the back of his head as he looked at it.

Seamstress: She took out a pen, started writing down the list as Vosur was speaking it. "Let's see... 30 silver for all the black set, 10 silver for all the brown set. The apron is custom, it will be 20 silver by itself. Sixty silver all together."

Vosur: Still looking into the pouch. "And would you be able to tell me what the currency exchange is here?"

Seamstress: "Of course, Effendi... 100 Coppers to 1 Silver, 100 silvers to 1 Gold, 10,000 coppers to 1 Gold." she nods.

Vosur: Reaches into the bag and places a gold coin on the table. "The rest is yours if you can finish that order before sunset and one set of the black I would like before I leave."

Seamstress: She snapped her finger as two of her apprentices, a young hyena and a fox, stopped the work they were doing and started work on Vosur's measurements. "Long-sleeve or short for your shirts?"

Vosur: "Short, less than finger's length between bottom of the sleeve to the elbow." He said as the apprentices were taking their notes then heading to start work. "Do you have a place for me to wait while these are being worked on?"

Seamstress: "Of course, Effendi. We rarely get individuals as generous and needing as you are for clothes though, but you are welcome to refreshments as you wait." She leads him to a curtained room, having a mint tea boiling over a fire.

Vosur slightly staggered into the room, his leg still needing work as he sat down and poured himself some of the mint tea into a clay cup that was nearby. He waited for them to finish, the Seamstress was preparing to close up shop as no other customers came in after him as it was nearing sunset.

Tezztor sat on the edge of the fountain, allowing his tail to freely swish amongst its waters. Looking about the square he wondered what it would be like to live here, he was after all his sona now and he could get respect and love in this place. "What do I have back home besides stress and bills? Here I can make something of myself and maybe even do some truly heroic things." he fantasized not really giving into the reality that things aren't always what they are in movies. Liszardia sat next to him, plopping down as if she were bored and throwing a tantrum in spite of it. "I never much liked this place." She suddenly spurted out, "All wolves and foxes. Reptiles are a rarity in this land, makes it very hard to find a mate unless your ready to settle for one of these furballs." The conversation seemed a bit trite given the circumstance, he could tell that she really paid no heed to him being there despite raptors supposedly being exinct. He just looked at her as she spoke, having no real imput to add to the conversation. "You looking for love Mr Raptor?" she said, giving him this odd look which might of been welcome hadn't he just met her. "It's Tezztor and I don't know I haven't really given much thought to love since my arrival to be honest." he said bluntly having much bigger worries then a mate at the moment. She seemed kinda disappointed at the fact that he seemed less then receptive to her. "Who knows, maybe if I meet the right reptile and got to know her a bit better I'll find love." he added for comfort. She seemed nice enough but now wasn't the time, maybe this bought him some time away from her relentless flirting.

While waiting for Nara to return they heard a scream from behind and he turned fast enough to see a spat of blood fly through the air, a reptilian blur of something was killing civilians in the streets. Standing up he rushed around the fountain to get a closer look but what stood before him almost sat him back down. A dragon chameleon of no mistakable likeness to a friend of his, it was Rigor Mortis. "What tricks do my eyes play?!" he growled in confusion. Liszardia seemed less then amused as she whistled, two fearsome scaled wolves seemed to appear from no where growling. "Murderer!" She yelled as she pointed at Rigor, her two giant monstrosities heaving forth at an alarming rate. The raptor couldn't believe what was happening it was like he had just entered the twilight zone were he had just found his friend only to see her mangled by giant wolves. "Rigor look out!" he said as he charged one of the wolves. He had no weapons and his mind hadn't seemed to settle on Tezztor's abilities but he didn't even have to think about helping a friend, it was the only instinct that truly seemed to stay with him.

i never imagined being ghost would be so hard the avian thought to herself as she was led out of the town by the big furry anthro. he brought her through the gate and then helped her into the woods. ok, so some how, i became my old fursona phantom falcon. and some how i got transported to this world. and some how i came here not in my clothes that i slept in, but in some tattered pants and a tattered shirt. ghost tried to figure things out as the kind dog brought her into the woods. so i guess this means my name is ghost now

"so, where be yer brother?" the dog asked looking around for any signs of a camp near by. ghost smoothly patted him on the shoulder. "he's around, I'll be fine now. thank you for helping me" the falcon girl said trying to get out of the dog's grip. but the big pair of furry arms would not let her go."please mis, i can't be lettin ye go into th' woods unprotected, let me take ye to yer brother" the dog said firmly looking around for the camp he thought would be there. ghost's eyes widened "the camp isn't far sir, i can take care of my self" she said forming resolve in her voice. that shocked her, she was just dumped in a new world with no allies, no way to call home and she had no way to see at the moment. she should be begging this dog not to leave her alone.

"even if i did believe ye could take care of yer self, i don't think ye could even find yer camp. now i ain't lettin ye go 'less i see yer brother" the dog said with resolve. and with that ghost mentally started swearing, trying to figure out some way to get out of her mess with out tellin this dog who she was. come on ghost, you got your self into this mess, how the heck are you gonna get out. the avian thought in vain to herself. "oh yes, i forgot my brother went into town to find an inn for us to stay in. i forgot, I'm sorry sir, thank you for getting me this far tho." she said trying to get out again. "non sense, i have to go back into town any way. I'd be happy to make sure you get to the inn safe. and i ought to have a word with your brother about lettin his blind little sester wander around the town alone like dat"  the dog said angrily. "my name is Wilson, by the way" he said turning around and leading ghost back into town. great job ghost, well now this could be your chance to lose him in town. ghost thought glumly. she didn't have high hopes for escaping this capable dog.

they got back into town and ghost's head started pounding once more. she tried in vain to think of some way out. "what be this" Wilson growled. "what is it" ghost asked. "there seems to be a few new reptiles in town" he said he held onto ghost tighter, almost as if he was trying to protect his small charge. ghost's face turned into the picture of not wanting to be there. i have to get out of here.

Vosur sat and closed his eyes, allowing himself to get used to his newfound sense of smell and hearing. The mint was soothing to him, but sounds from outside were almost distracting as he could hear fighting. He stayed where he was until the Seamstress dropped a shirt and pants, along with a pair of chords.

Seamstress: "Seems like there is a fight out there, Effendi... be careful." She speaks as she leaves him to allow him to change clothes.

Vosur: "I can hear it." he says before he hears a familiar name called out, which made his ears perk to full-height in the direction. "No way..." he says before he quickly gets changed, using the chords to blouse-up the pants under his new legs to prevent his pants being ripped through them. He goes to the customer-waiting area and looks out the window. "As for the rest of my clothes, I'll be back for them, and I have another order... could you make me 5 sets of black fingerless-gloves at wrist-length, and 2 sets of brown ones as well?" he glances back to the avian quickly with a smile.

Seamstress: "I'm sorry, Effendi, but we are closed. I can start on them tomorrow." She does a slight bow to him out of respect, approaching him with a piece of paper and pen to start writing down measurements as she personally measured his hands. "They will be about 70 silver total, and it will take me about 2 hours to make all of them."

Vosur: "Don't worry on that... you got what I needed in time." he nods as he hands her another gold piece. "Keep the change. You did quite well with the clothes in such short notice." He attaches the pouch with the remaining 8 pieces on a belt-loop as he exits the place, looking out into the crowd. "Be ready to allow me back in about 10 minutes."

The avian quickly locks up behind him to prevent anyone from coming in as he was exiting.

She was ripped away from her own senseless pondering when she heard, "Rigor, look out!" It was odd; she had not told anyone a name when she had come, but when she whipped around, she saw a familiar face. It was familiar because she had drawn it before.. It was.. Tezztor..? "What the--" By the time she managed to utter a partial sentence, she was thrown to the ground by a wolf of large scale. His fur was bristled all the way down his back, and his teeth snapped in front of her face, just short of her snout. She was sure she's heard something crack as he landed on top of her.. Maybe her ribs. A flare of pain traveled up her spine, confirming that the snapping had been reality and not in her head.. She grunted, coughing up blood as he exerted his weight on top of her. "Wanna play dirty, eh?" she managed as she looked down to notice a certain position of his legs. Though the pain was excruciating, adrenalin kick in and she found herself in the mentality she kept when she had been in mixed martial arts classes back where she came from.

She quickly squirmed a bit and slid her leg under his inner thigh. Gripping one of his arms for a base and placing her leg behind his other leg, he wobbled a bit... And she rolled, effortlessly using his weight against him with a butterfly reversal, lifting under his leg and turning on top of him so that she was in control. With that, she rared back her knee and firmly planted it in his crotch, following it up with a couple of hard shots to the face and an elbow to the temple.. As she began to stop, a few wisps of black substance.. Almost like smoke or fog, rose from her jagged mouth and she reached down to his throat and grabbed a handful, digging her claws in with the same expression of pleasure as she would have if he had been conscience. Her neon purple tongue flicking excitedly with the other's blood on it. Just as she began to rip the chunk of flesh in her hand from the wolf's throat, she stopped and shook her head as if coming out of a fog and let go.

ghost listened to everything happening between the wolf and the reptile. not being able to see anything and relying only on her hearing, the scene she saw was gruesome. the falcon girl started shaking just listening to the fight. she had heard the call of rigor from the crowd. the name struck her as familiar but she couldn't focus on it at the moment. the sounds of the fight had shaken her up. she suddenly felt suffocated from being hugged so tightly. the human ghost would have put up with the hugging for the sake of blending in. for some reason though the fiery falcon avian kicked backwards hitting the dog hard where it hurt. as he let go of ghost she took the opportunity to try to run as far away from the dog and the gruesome sounds of death before her. ghost still hadn't managed to work out how she was supposed to see with out eyes. so she relied on her hearing, not even paying attention to what her eyes saw, or didn't see as the case was.

once she focused on her hearing she once again found the sound wave pattern and studied it. the falcon girl ran off, avoiding the area's where the sound around her had bounced off of. she tried to wind her way through the crowd, but quickly got lost finding no physical marker's for her to place on her mental map. ghost swore out loud, cursing her own stupidity. "come on ghost, use your head" she had no idea where she was. she ran forward not focusing on her hearing and ended up running into another anthro. she muttered an apology and tried to get out of the square. no little sucess.

Upon hearing a conflict brewing and smelling the scent of blood in the air, I felt a strange sensation run over me like an electrical current through my body yet again, I was uncomfortable with the thoughts and urges going through my mind, but ultimately was able to suppress them for the time being, and for a moment I could feel my abilities to reason and think logically slip away, slowly becoming replaced by primal instinct. "You're a man, not an animal, pull yourself together..." I struggled with this new side of my mind, vying for control of the body. I slipped into a partly shadowed corner outside of the building I was in near the square, sitting down I held my knees to my chest and my claws over my eyes, shaking my head back and forth hysterically. "Why is this happening to me...?" Whispering to myself, I subtly began hearing a voice ringing in my ears, "You seem tired, distressed. Maybe you should take a nap." the voice had a masculine yet slightly pleasant, unimposing tone, apparently tying to admire me into listening to it. "Who are you?" I thought, trying to focus my attention away from my senses on the outside world. "Now is not the time, I will fill you in when you reawaken. Now, rest, would you kindly?" Instantly after the voice's command was spoken, I could feel my eyes become heavy, and I quickly fell into a shallow sleep...

Tezztor jumps onto the second scaled wolf, his talons tearing at him haphazardly trying to protect his friend. What happened next seemed a blur as Tezztor's killer instincts took over, blood splattered over the ground and and the wolf fell over, lifeless. He had severed its spinal column and severed all its muscles in its neck in one quick gash with his talons. Before he could relish in his victory Liszardia rushed by conjuring ice shards to attack with."No! Don't attack Rigor!" he yelled at her as he grabbed her and pushed her to the ground interupting her spell. "What are you doing? Shes a murderer.." the Iguaness asked with a puzzled look on her face. Reaching down he grabbed her claw and helped her back to her feet. "Shes not a murderer, whoever she killed I'm sure deserved it." For a moment an awkward silence came over them as he was unsure exactly how to explain this to her in a way that wouldn't sound so off the wall crazy.  "Shes...."he hesitated. "Shes an old friend."

She raised a brow as she turned to Rigor looking her over, sensing someithing evil within her. "Shes kinda gangly." she said despite her own short stature. Part of her saw Rigor as a threat, the darkness within and the other part just didn't like a female in her territory. Flicking her finger some of the wounds on Rigor began to heal. Tezztor looked and Rigor and shrugged, "Rigor what are you doing here? Your the last person I expected to see in this place." he said with amazement at her very being. But it dawned on him, she could be a being of this world and not the friend he knew and if that were the case she would be a terrible danger. he scratched his dewflap as he thought on it. Looking back Lisz was staring at him as if waiting for a development.

Vosur wandered around to try to find a way to see through the crowd. Though he was taller than most of them, but he could not see through to where the action was taking place. Being careful to not step on any feet, he started making his way through the crowd until he got close enough in the clearing to see two familiar figures. He stood in silence as he watched the ongoing events, unsure of what he was seeing. "No... it could not be. But it's too coincidental to not be..." he said quietly, almost drawing attention from nearby citizens to himself.

Rigor arched a brow. "Gangly?" She leaned forward, and her striped tongue crept out of her mouth and onto the iguana's cheek teasingly leaving a smudge of blood. Her tongue was longer than most, and she seemed to want to show that to her audience. "M'dear, I'm beautiful. Don't be jealous." After her tongue retreated, her mouth pulled back into a jagged grin that hinted a bit of venom in her words, and she made her way to Tezztor exaggerating her movements as if t show off. When she began to speak with him, her tone and body language immediately changed and she seemed to be a different being than before when she had teased the other two reptiles. She leaned in close to his ear and whispered so only he could hear. "Ring ring ring ring ring.." It was the only way to be sure.

Tezztor flinched a bit when he heard the words, it was then he knew he wasn't truly alone in this world. "Rigor.." he whispered back trying not to catch to much attention from those around. 'What are you doing here?" The situation had become that much more dire, he wasn't the only one here and this his own interests were not the only thing at hand. What if more were around wandering aimlessly in the dark wondering why and the when? After a moment he added, "Im glad to see you, you don't know what it means to me that your here." It was the truth, having her here made the world of difference. Suddenly it wasn't as if the world was so strange anymore, but a land to be explored. With his friend by his side together they look unlock the mysteries of this land. All comfort was quickly quelled as he remembered this is Rigor, Tezztor's bane in living form. What if the personas took over, what if she couldn't control Rigor and what if he couldn't control Tezztor? Too many questions left unanswered left him in disarray.

With a sack full of items Nara made her way back to the fountain proud of her deed hoping it would win the raptor's favor over her sister. The two had a hard time finding mates and this raptor seemed so nice. Upon entering the square her peaceful daydreaming turned to worry as the stench of freshly spilled blood filled the air. On the far side her sister stood, seemingly frustrated while the prospective raptor stood next to a dragoness. "Unbelievable." she spouted fairly certain that was the cause of her sister's grief. Rushing forth through the crowd she was cut off abruptly by being run into by a seemingly dazzled white wolf. Hadn't it been for her otherworldly reflexes she'd of surely hit the gravel. "Excuse me! Watch were your going!" she growled right at the white wolf with her teeth baring. "You ran into me and weren't even looking were you were going." As if by some cosmic connection the other of the two sisters homed in on the white wolf angry at his rude bumping into her sister like it was impossible for accidents to be made.

ghost now heard the second killing of a man. she wanted to cover her ears from the gruesome noise. she was scared from the noise, she could barely figure out where she was going. she was literally freaking out when she heard the word of rigor through the crowd. the simple word was spoken by a different voice, a rougher voice compared to all the furry voices she heard. ghost turned back to the remnants of the fight. the sound made by the other's in the area bounced off the scene at different angles, making a 3D image for her mind to pick up. ghost focused her mind and quickly saw the scene in the sonic pattern. the two people at the center looked a lot like the other people from the forums. rigor mortis, and tezztor aslir ne'taku. both moderators, great artists and generally good people from what she remembered.

for that moment ghost wanted to run up and say hi to the two reptiles in the center, but then ghost's mind flashed back to the fight only moments ago. one it might not be them, and two, they probably wouldn't like seeing my whiny self here after they just both clawed a dude to death. i'll catch up with them later she thought wearily to her self. she started looking around the square for any one familiar, if she, tezztor and rigor were here, possibly, maybe some one else was here. being the short girl she was ghost found the fountain in the middle of the square. she climbed on and tried to search out any one she recognised. or at least looked familiar.

As I fell deeper into my sleep, I could sense the sounds and smells around me start to fade away, and I entered a of dream-like state...

In my 'dream' was the interior of a large Cathedral, it was dark and dimly lit by small candles on five foot tall candle sticks along the walkway to the altar, and behind that a grand Pipe Organ, with a highly decorative case of ornate carvings and Dragons. The instrument seemed to be non-funtioning, as the robed player operated the keys, pedals and knobs no sound came from the bronze pipes, or at least as far as my ears could tell. The console held hundreds of components, I imagined that it would take years of practice to play the instrument properly. I turned around to face a huge wooden door with a heavy wooden beam holding it closed, it was to high up to reach and even if I could, I would not be able to move it. Likely there would be a lever or turn crank to lift the block, but there was no such device nearby, and I did not care to leave at the moment. I looked down at my body, it was Human, to say the least I was relieved, but also felt drained of my strength. The clothes I wore this time were simple garments, one that any commoner would wear during the Renaissance age. They were plain and grey, nothing fancy, but certainly better than what I was wearing before. "I sense you have questions." the Organ player asked, with a slight hiss to hiss in his voice, I recognized it as the disembodied voice that spoke to me just before I fell asleep. "Who are you? Why am I here? What happe-" "One at a time, please. Now, what is it you wish to know?" I stammered as I tried to speak to the Organ player, he gave off an unpleasant aura as he neared me. "I-I want to know w-who you are." "You should know that one, after all..." He pulled his hood back, showing his slim saurian muzzle. "You created me." He gazed into my eyes with his burning red eyes, they were filled with anger and madness, it was Shailik Shauli the Atrocious...

Rigor's heart fluttered when he flinched at the very song she always teased him with for fun, and she couldn't help but playfully punch the big oaf of a raptor in the arm. "What am I doing here? I.. I don't know. I fell asleep beside my mate while we were watching a movie.. then woke up here. But if you're here, that means maybe he --- I mean, maybe there's more." She took a step closer to Tezztor and stretched her leg out along with her tail and exaggerated a turn to show her new form off. "What do you think? I look just like I draw her." she smiled.. "And I see you've gained a fan club since we last talked." she indicated with a nod to the iguanas.

Tezztor smiles, feeling a bit of relief as if the strange world around him became that much more familiar. "Looking good Rigor, every bit as beautiful as your concept even more so in person." he said trying to cheer her up a bit, he knew that she was hurting inside if her mate wasn't here she'd want to get back. He would help her if that was what she wanted. He leaned in a bit, "Don't worry if hes here I will help you find him, if not I will help you get back to him" he reassured. Above his own needs he was her friend and he gave his vow to help her. Looking back he saw the two iguanas giving a large white wolf trouble, though the wolf seemed somewhat familiar. "Ah yes the twins, as overzealous and in serious need of a hug as they are they seem alright. Maybe they can help us find the answers we seek." Again he smiled, it was just so much of a relief to him to not be alone in this mess for however long it was to last. A glint in the fountain caught his attention and he saw a avian near it, though he didn't recognize it.

Despite the reunion it stood as a bit odd to him, so much had happened in a short amount of time. Here he was as the fearsome Tezztor, a raptor assassin and dream come true. Next to him stood his best friend in a time period were the possibility of great adventure awaited. He should be the happiest he has ever been but doubt and problems still lingered in his mind. Obviously he couldn't just be here for the delight of being here, something more was at stake and even if it weren't would helping Rigor cause him to loose it all. He knew she was troubled even if she was happy to be here, surely Result would be here too as it wouldn't seem right to have her here and not him. After all they were both scalies like him. Interrupting his own thoughts he looked at Rigor who despite it all seemed happy and sad at the same time. "We need to find a base of operations and try to find out why we are here above all else. Only then do I feel we can find Res or if he is not here get you back to him."

Vosur was stopped by a couple of couple of iguanas, keeping a firm hold on his money pouch as he tries to venture away from them. He did not say anything to him to possibly draw attention to himself other than the two females trying to heckle him. He wandered back to the entrance of the seamstress's home as best as he could without stepping on either of the two iguanas' feet. When he gets to the door, he knocks a couple of times, but gets a reply from the Seamstress.

Seamstress: Opens a peep-hole at the door. "Yes Effendi? I'm sorry but we won't be able to accept anymore orders today, we are closed."

Vosur: "Please let me in. I have to pick up the clothes I ordered earlier." he whispered into the peephole to where she could hear him.

Seamstress: "Oh... I thought you were about to buy more clothes. Please tell your friends to wait outside." she quietly said as she started to unlock the door.

Vosur: Turning back towards the iguanas who had followed him, he gave them a stern look. "Well? What would get you two to leave me be?"

"Shailik? Is it..." I approached him, cautiously. As I go closer, I began to make out the textures on his rough skin. Most notably was a long scar traveling down his face, from the height of his skull to the front of his snout, and Shailik noticed that I was looking at the scar without even taking a glance at me. "I gained this little souvenir from a climactic and shameful battle against Isaac Verhasst... do you remember?" I did remember, not as text in a Word Document like it really was, but like a fight scene in a high-budget action movie. "I do remember it, he thought that you would die from your wounds, but you didn't." He briefly showed off a toothy grin, but quickly snapped his expression to a cold grimace, seeing as I attempted to feel the scales on his left hand, "No touching!" he exclaimed as he brushed me off, waving a finger at me with disapproval. "I'm sorry, I was... curious." I felt embarrassed, and blushed as I tried not to make eye-contact with the allosaurian overlord. "I suppose it would only be natural, considering no Humans have seen anything as magnificent as I." Shailik boasted, as he grinned and held his arms out proudly. "'Magnificent?'" I retorted, "I believe the word 'terrible' would be more... fitting to you." Shailik didn't respond to this, and I became worried about what he might do next. "No disrespect, my Lord." I added, silently praying he wouldn't rend my flesh with his claws and teeth. "In that, you would be correct." A heavy sigh of relief left me, "After all, it is better to be feared than revered, right my Lord?" and the phrase 'my Lord' involuntarily slipped into my vocabulary, "Yes..."

Nara fumed at the large white wolf for his ignorance. "You bumped into me, at least apologize like a gentleman." she practically demanded, a bit obsessed with moral gestures. She was a monk who dabbled in peace and kindness so it was typical for her, even if her young age gave her that spirit and enthusiasm that was a bit overbearing. To mistake her combat prowess because of her age however would be a dire mistake, trained by the best martial artists in the world she was very capable knocking ones head through their hide. She was a bit insulted by his protection of his coin purse like she was a common thief. "I'm not here to steal your things, just a common act of civility." she added as if preaching the word of her god to him. Liszardia shifted from hip to hip impatient with the waiting, of the two she was the most animated, forward and eager. "Lets go Nara it's easy to see he doesn't even know that he hit you."

ghost focused on her hearing and quickly deciphered what she heard. ghost was becoming adept at using her sonar hearing. she quickly drew up a mental image of what she saw in front of the fountain, it was a bit confusing, but she could make out the just of it. she swept her ears around the area, she noticed what she was looking for, a tall being that looked like what she had seen pictures of just a few days ago. the mental image she saw was a 3-D model of a raptor warrior. if I'm here, maybe tezztor is also with that thought ghost hopped off the fountain and walked over to the raptor. "are you tezztor, aslir ne'taku. the skilled raptor assassin?" ghost asked bluntly, almost in a demanding way. normally ghost would have just figured it out from afar and maybe wait an hour or more before she would walk up an approach him. weird ghost thought looking at the raptor waiting for his answer. ghost made sure to keep her face free of fear or trepidation as she started down the huge raptor in front of her. please let this be tezztor.

"I suppose you're right, Tezz." She looked to her feet and inadvertently kicked a rock. She didn't want to sound desperate or clingy.. But she couldn't help what may be going on in her world. If she was here, what happened to her body? Was it gone? Would her mate reawaken to find that she had disappeared from this plane? Or was it still there without her? Maybe she was in a coma.. She didn't know.. And it made her mind flood with nasty "what if" scenarios.

Another thing she couldn't help think about was that Rigor's essence was there.. And it was a bit demanding at that. When she was in control, it was as if she could still hear it chittering in the back of her skull, driving her mad until she faltered. She wondered if Tezztor or any of the others were having a similar experience, and if they were.. What would happen? She knew that by their personalities, Tezztor and Rigor were always at each other's throats, and she didn't want to hurt a friend.

"So.. A base of operations, eh? Maybe we should start looking for that first. After all.. We are going to need a place to stay tonight, if we're here that long. Given what's going on, I don't think I could sleep.. Not like that's any different of me, though. How are we going to do this? I've got no money, no anything." She looked around the street a bit confused as she scratched the back of her head. "And I don't really know where I am." She spat to the side, blood still in her mouth. "I think I need to clean up as well.." She looked down at the gore that stained her scales. It gave a sickeningly intoxicating smell that in an odd way calmed her. In truth, she didn't want to wash it off because of the pride of her first kill as Rigor, but it had to be done. "The crowd's gonna go after us if we don't get away from these bodies.. And I'm fairly certain I'd be a bit suspicious like th--"

She was cut off by an avian that spoke Tezztor's name.

He ended up giving a nod to the the first one, whose demeanor seemed to give off somewhat of a religious "aura" about her. "Sorry, I've been on edge recently and also... I can't feel anything from the knees down. False legs." After a while he looked back to the peephole, speaking a bit into it. "If it's ready, would you be able to give it to me?"

Seamstress: She opens the door slightly and pushes out a cloth bag full of clothes. "Keep the bag. You bought quite a bit from me already so this is thanks to you, Effendi. Please come back midday on the morrow and I'll have your other order ready." She closed the door and locked it quietly.

Vosur accepted this day's order and carefully turned around to make sure he did not step on any feet or bump into anyone with his clothing. "Anything else I can do for you two?"

Tezztor listened intently to Rigor, it was almost otherworldly to hear her speak in such a normal way. She was his friend as she always was, but the design of the character coupled with this strange place made everything seem like a trip to the twilight zone. Rigor had more in common with the joker then anything, he worried when and if that would ever come into play. Before he could respond they were interrupted by the same strange avian he had seen at the fountain. Turning to her he answered, "Yes, I am Tezztor who wants to know" His reply was riddled with coldness and discontent, moreso due to Tezztor's personality then his own. It almost worried him how murderously calm he felt in that instant. The falcon girl was quite a bit shorter then him and seemed extremely on edge like she was paranoid everybody about her was out to kill her. Out of the three of them she was definitely the most shaken, or at least so in appearance. "Well speak up, if you need something out with it. If not I'm busy at the moment" He puffed angrily through rows of sharp teeth. He looked over at Rigor just to see her take on this, then back at the bird.

Liszardia shook her head at Nara then looked back at the wolf, "She accepts your apology." With that both the sisters turned and walked back to the fountain, looking for their raptor consort. "You know, I think he likes me." Liszardia teased like she was a teen gabbing over a phone. "I thought you didn't like wolves though," Nara added in quickly, playing on the others comment. "I meant the raptor, you know hes the first one to be seen in over fifty years and hes quite the reptile if I don't mind saying." she added almost daydreaming. Nara just looked at her like she had lost her mind, "You have no chance at all with him, they say raptors were very strict about their mates. Usually they kept to their own. Plus hes seems like he has a lot more on his mind then just finding love. He seemed rather confused that he was even here. I wonder were he came from." Nara said softly, lost in thought. Of the two she was the more wise and rational thinker, not subject to flights of fancy like her sister. She sensed more of the situation, a darkness looming over them. "Something is going to happen here, lots of us are going to die"

the falcon girl arched one eye brow at the coldness in the raptor's voice. back home she had read of the raptor's legendary voice, cold, gravely and deadly. all she had read about the raptor was a far cry from the real thing. ghost couldn't lose her nerve at the coldness in his voice, not now. "I'm phantom falcon. ring any bells?" she asked, she had to know if this was the real tezztor, or his character, take on a life of it's own, and the writer behind the assassin wasn't here. if that was the case, ghost knew she would be a sitting duck and easily lose if push came to shove. ghost listened carefully trying to puzzle out the expression she thought she saw in her head. she let no fear show on her face once more as her blind eyes started out at the raptor.

"We need to move on." She said, grabbing Tezztor by the shoulder and indicating the bodies on the ground along with the one unconscience wolf. "Seriously. It won't be long before people start poking their noses around here. I'm surprised they haven't already. We can play 'Meet N' Greet' later." She looked the falcon girl up and down. "The name sounds familiar, I'm not going to lie.. But if you want to talk more, come with us."

"The destiny awaits in the waking world, you must find your friends." Shailik spoke quickly, and appeared to be casting a spell on the exit door of the Cathedral. The large double-door creeks open slowly and a stark white light shines though the opening in the middle, "Whatever do you mean, my Lord? I have friends?" I said, a little confused. "You will know when you meet them, now we must go." "Me and the Lord, traveling together?" The thought of this made me feel like I was going on a Crusade with a King, a grand adventure of my fantasies. "In a sense, yes we will be traveling together." "But, I did not say anything, my Lord." "In actuality, we never spoke at all. Hurry along now, would you kindly?" After the brief conversation, we left the building and into the light...

I awoke, and saw that I was in the very same place and position that I was in before I fell asleep. I stood up, now in Shailik's body. "Oh, heh heh, we're traveling *together,* I see..." I said, rolling my eyes in discontent. I glanced around, not seeing anyone familiar at first. "If you know so much, how come you can't just tell me where my 'friends' are...? Shailik?" There was no answer, just the near-silence of a sparsely populated town. Nobody caught my eye during my walk around town, until I spotted six seemingly familiar figures talking to eachother near some dead bodies. I walked in their general direction casually...

Vosur tried to use the crowd to make an unnoticed escape, but his doing so made him bump into more people along the way, making him say "Sorry." and "Excuse me." every other second. He continued until he left the crowd, staring on his way back to the smithy, taking a glance back to the crowd before resuming on his way. "I've got a job, I've got a place to live already... but they don't look like they have any of that yet." he muttered as he stopped to buy some dried meats and pita-like bread from a couple of food vendors. He received his change from one gold coin, placing the numerous silver and copper coins he received in the pouch he was given, then he put the dry food in the bag with his clothing.

He stayed a little bit longer to ask the two on the location of various workers including a leatherworker, mason, carpenter, and others that he felt he would need to know the locations for future use, buying a piece of parchment and a quill-pen from a nearby vendor for his own map-making for this city. Doing a quick and unrefined work of his map, he put it away and thanked the two food vendors before started to walk away to go back to the apprentice-house for the smithy. "I think this should do it for the day..." he exhaled in a sigh, pondering on what he should plan for next.

The raptor looked at the bodies on the ground and for a split second he was lost in bloodlust before Rigor's voice snapped him out of it. "We need to move on." her words sank in and he nodded to her. "Yeah not a bad idea, maybe we should hear to a less populated place." No sooner then he finished did the iguana monk jump in, "We have a place just inside the residential district of the city, follow me." She said and turned around and began walking away, Liszardia in tow. Shrugging Tezztor made his way after them, keeping it nice and calm to avoid painting a guilty bullseye on himself as they left the scene of a murder. It seemed for the first time since his arrival things seemed under control, it was his time to shine and he was going to take this world by force. Despite his new found confidence, he was feeling more like Tezz by the moment and less like himself. His general personality took a shift for the blood thirsty, calm and calculated nature of the raptor. It would only be a matter of time before each of them was at each other's throats, or fighting for their lives against some unseen foe. After all something had to bring them there, a being of terrible or wonderful power.

As he made his way down the street a glint caught his eye, causing him to glance down a alleyway nearby. Amidst the shadows a serpentine figure lurked, his sharp eyes following its movements. The figure seemed to smile at him and then vanished as if it were never there. "What... who was that?" he asked himself as if expecting an answer. "C'mon!" Liszardia called back to him. Things always had a way of turning for the worse before they got better and it was seem whatever plot was to unfold, this shadow was but a foreshadow in its course.

ghost sighed and wished that she could stop her head from hurting, figured out what was happening with this place. figure out if these guy's were friends or not. and figure out how to see. the falcon girl followed quietly behind the large raptor. the falcon girl remained quiet. walking on light feet as they walked through the town. while walking she tried to sort out what she had "seen" in the town by the fountain. there was a murder. and the falcon girl felt slightly sick that she was just walking away without trying to do something. anything, would be better than just leaving a dead and unmarked dead man in the streets. while his killer just calmly walked away. oh quiet ghost, what could you do the falcon girl told herself. take down a raptor assassin, and a dragon chameleon who both are older, wiser, stronger and faster than you. ya that would go over real well. ghost still couldn't help feeling guilt at leaving the dead person in the square.

Rigor followed, wondering where they were heading, but also rambling to herself. She curled her tail absently around the falcon's shoulder, almost pulling her along since she felt that the avian was having trouble. It was obvious she was blind. She licked her monstrously sharp mouth, removing some of the blood. It was warm against her silky scales, and again oddly comforting. Having just  committed murder, she figured she might have been a bit more panicked.. But she couldn't find herself doing so. She felt no remorse whatsoever.. And it was slightly disturbing. She kept glancing over her shoulder, keeping watch for anything out of the ordinary or odd looks considering she was covered in gore.. But her sight was hard to adjust to, as it was very keen. She thought she had seen another reptile, but she shook her head, telling herself it was only her imagination.

I decided that I would play spy for a bit, just to make sure that these were the people I needed to be with, and followed them from a distance I thought would be good for listening in on any conversations they might have but still be out of their own space. I lifted my hood over my face and started walking on the side of the street like any civilian, my cloak made a slight fluttering noise as I walked. I felt like my senses were much clearer than before, it was very discomforting and confusing at first, but I got used to my sensitive hearing, sight, taste and smell. My sense of touch, however, was completely absent as I could not feel the ground beneath my feet or the cloth of my cloak brush against my scales, like my nerves were all dead.

As they made their way towards the twin's home he saw a smithy off in the distance. "If only I had some gold." he thought figuring that was the logical currency they'd use in this time period. Suddenly that same shadowy figure burst out across the road with a torch and threw it onto the building, catching its roof on fire. It seemed surreal to him as if it were happening in slow motion, perhaps it was the raptor's heightened sense of focus but either way he could swear the shadowy figure looked at him and smiled before running off. Before he could even say so himself the two iguanas were already running towards the smithy. "C'mon!" He figured he'd say anyways, "Somebody might need help!" At the very least he figured maybe they would reward them with free weapons or such for saving their shop or life. The shop roared into flames as if something were helping it along. Fire crept down the wooden beams as if caressing them and citizens nearby watched. "Why would anybody set fire to the smithy?" he wondered noting that the building was hardly that of a royal supplier or even that of a noble's court.

Before he could get much further the sky grew black and the world around them slowed to a still as time came to a halt. He looked around amazed he could still move, Rigor as well as the falcon seemed unfathomed by times effect as well. The building also kept burning. Suddenly a dark figure appeared before them, reeking of immense power. This being bore a dark cloak and from the rear a long snake like body slithered. "Heed my words for I shall not repeat them." The figure said, its words eminating into his mind as if he used telepathy. "It is I who brought you here and it is me you are here to serve, but I am not foolish enough to believe you will serve me willingly so I give you a reason to obey. First however I will show you that I mean business, we will play a little game to test your various abilities. Inside of this smithy stands a friend of yours, I believe you know him as Vosur. The smithy will burn him alive if one of you does not use this dispelling powder to free him from the magical barrier that holds him within. Each of you will be sent to separate corners of the city and must get back here in time to free him." The sorcerer seem amused at his little game, it was written all over his scaley mug. "But that is not all, I've sent.... word that you all are to blame for this fire and the entire city guard will be out to kill you. I need to see your speed and your combat prowess, your loyalty. Last one to make it here will die."

The snake smiled once again before turning to Rigor, "I know you have no fear of death dark one, so let me entice your cooperation with the fact that if your the last somebody close to you will die a very long and painful death. Let the games begin." With that last remark reality seemed to warp around each of them, as well as the sneaky one behind them and as if waking from a dream Tezztor noticed he was in a different part of the city. This problem was only worsened by the fact he had no idea which way it was back to the smithy, and Vosur was in trouble. The sorcerer sent one one last incentive to all of the participants but Rigor as she already got hers. "Tezztor, you of all worship your sona as you are a therian. If you loose you will get to see all of them torn to shreds before returning to life never able to speak of them, draw or any other mention of them. You will have to live with the sorrow of them being gone and never being able to communicate them again." To Him it was a harsh blow, he had created them over his entire life, to never be able to speak of them again and know they were gone would be devestating. He knew the others had gotten equally as bad incentives to try and not be last.

Rigor's stomach rolled when she found herself in an unfamiliar place in the town with a small burlap bag in her claw.. She scanned her surroundings, noting that there was no one she knew around. "Damn it." She growled wondering if he would go after her mate. "He got us here, I wouldn't doubt if he would." She stiffened, smelling the air for smoke, and once she located it, turned to find it billowing up into the light blue sky behind her. The small bag in her hand was somewhat light, and she didn't remember having it before.. So she assumed it was the dispelling powder the figure spoke of.

Without a moment to lose, she tore off on a direct path to the smoke, not caring that there were obstacles in her way. She'd clear them some how or another.. "There's one of them!" she heard from behind.. "She's heading back to the scene!" the gruff voice continued its assault of orders. "Get her!" Rigor took the bag and hooked one of the drawstrings on one of her fangs and closed her mouth to secure it as she dropped to all fours to build up her speed. She had already calculated a way to get on top of the building that blocked her way to the smoke. She jumped, bouncing off the cloth awning of a vendor's cart and grabbed onto the ledge of one of the houses almost losing her grip. For a moment she hung there, amazed that it even worked, but was reminded of her plight when a spear stuck in the wall beside her head.

The dragoness scrambled, pulling herself up onto the roof, and glancing back to see another set of spears soar from the guards to her. One nicked her arm, while another hit the bag dangling from her mouth squarely leaving a giant gaping hole in the middle of it. The powder exploded into her face as she ran, and her mind went off expecting the worse thing to happen now that it was gone. She jumped off the other side of the building and continued to sprint, hoping she wouldn't be the last one there.

ghost rubbed her face and saw a different surrounding in her head, compared to the one she saw moments ago. she rubbed her face again and felt a small bag in her hand. she remembered just before she had changed surroundings, the new person, the burning smithy. vosur with that thought she started running. she bumped into another person before she got a few feet. "i got her" said a big wolf anthro. "she's one of th' ones who set fire to th' smithy" around ghost she heard calls of many angry anthros, all closing in on her. she quickly remembered one of the books she read back home and waited until two other canine anthros came at her sides. the first canine made the mistake of grabbing her below her silver wings. when the guards were close enough, she extended her wings, smacking both in the face. at the same time she brought her knee up swiftly into the first canines crotch. he let go of the girl, his face was indescribable to the blind girl, but she imagined that it must hurt. she pumped her wings trying to get air borne. awww effe, i don't know how to freakin fly ghost swore in her head as she tried to pump her wings and gain altitude. she set her body ridged and so with her wings. she started gliding on the air. she flapped once or twice to keep her up. focus, focus, as long as you stay stiff you will be-- ghost cut off as she smashed head first into a wooden building. she had been focusing on flying, not where she was going. she was swearing as she fell from the wooden building's side. onto the alley way below. her right wrist cracked beneath her when she landed. but the pain was only slight compared to her pounding head. she stood up and leaned her good hand on the wall as she caught her breath.

this is so pointless, i don't know how to fly, i can't freakin see, my dominant hand is useless. this is so unfair!!! ghost thought anger boiling up inside her. she wanted nothing more than a big soft body to take her anger out on. just then another canine anthro stepped into the alley way. it grinned in the light and charged at her. no doubt thinking it was gonna make an easy grab. as the dog got closer ghost turned to face it. her teeth bared, her face not showing anything like the shy and nervous face from earlier that day. ghost charged at the dog. "I'LL KILL YOU!!!" she yelled sprinting at the dog. who had slowed when he had saw the girl charging him. he saw her face and tried to turn and run, but ghost was already upon him. she jumped up and on his back. and started madly pounding him on his head, she grabbed his chin with her agonizing hand and grabbed the back of his head in her left. her wrist was screaming. "WHAT WAY TO THE SMITHY, ANSWER ME!!" she yelled at the dog, it was trying to hit ghost. she let go of his head with her left hand, and grabbed one of his finger's she squeezed it, and sharply twisted. it cracked in her hand. "ANSWER ME" she yelled grabbing another finger and promptly breaking it also. before the dog would talk, more anthro's ran into the alley way from the screams. the guard and many other's were there, all armed with some manner of weapons, from crude sticks for clubs, to pitch forks, to break knives, to the city guard wielding short swords. "GET AWAY FROM ME" she yelled and let go of the dog with her broken right wrist.

on instinct, or maybe the true ghost lent the human girl her power. in her broken hand a flame appeared. only as big as a dime. as her hand arced towards the villagers, the flame grew, the girl wasn't being burnt. but the people in the flames path started to back up and break ranks. the fire ball flew from ghost's hand and spiraled towards the end of the alley. ghost stood up and ran down the other way. she had no idea where she was going, but she had to get away from there. she was sure her head was cracked. huh, maybe the real ghost is finally sharing her knowledge with me, or it's the broken head talking. weird. ghost thought as everything became clearer to her. her sonar vision was more sharp, she could see. she could see with her ears as well as she could have with her eyes. she jumped up and flapped her wings. "lets try this again" she muttered. and flew. she listened for anything that might indicate a fire. come on ghost, use your head.

Vosur was walking home when he closed his eyes for a moment, opening them to a scene of fire around himself. The sudden change did make him panic, the fear of fire instilled in the back of his head from when he remembered his own creation's storyline... the fire surrounding himself, nearly losing his loved ones inside of it, and nothing he could do but escape. His quick movements and looking around caused him to see B'ar, unconscious amidst the blaze. He couldn't pick him up, so Vosur ended up having to do a quick collar-drag to get the smithy as far from the fire as possible.

After the drag, he found himself in conflict of thoughts... go through the blaze to his only way out or give into the fear of the fire and wait until help arrived. The fire itself did not seem to travel very fast, possibly due to the materials that the building was made of, but this did not instill any calm in him pertaining to the situation. And so, after a moment's panicked thoughts, he charges at the door and tries to kick it, ending up in kicking off of it and landing a few feet away from it. The impact should have knocked the door over or at least caused some damage, but it seemed to do nothing to the door. "Crap... something's not right here." he mutters as he attempts to kick at it again and again, each hit only causing damage to the ankle joints in his legs as he never got a chance to repair them properly.

I was warped to another part of town, and I quickly looked to the skies to see a dark tower of smoke rising above some buildings that were between me and the fire. "I want those Arsonists brought to justice! Nobody breaks the law on our watch!" Said the city guard captain, apparently giving orders to a group of men to search for me and the others I was following earlier. Rather than fighting my way through them, I chose to dash and weave my way to the smithy. I took to the shadows, hoping that if I couldn't at least get there quickly that the others would get caught by the city guard. Nobody had spotted me yet, but I was beginning to think that I was not going fast enough, and all this effort put into sneaking around would be for nothing. I saw a man in light battle armor standing in one of the alleyways I wanted to get through. "Hope this works." I thought to myself, as I crept up behind the soldier and placed my claws on his shoulders. Instantly, he fell unconscious by the effects of my Energy Draining powers. This power, however, would take a while to recharge for me to use again. I took the guards weapon, it looked to a steel short sword, and luckily for me it was small enough to conceal under my cloak. The smoke seemed to not be any closer than it was before, I felt sick, like I was going to drop dead without a chance to resist, "Just like Mushihime-sama..." I thought hopelessly as I continued avoiding the guards...

Looking to the sky he noticed the smoke pillar, "That must be from the fire." He said as if congratulating himself for the discovery and without a second thought he tore off down the road towards it. At first his own speed astonished him, this was the first time he got to see raptor speed through his assassin's eyes. Civilians and objects sped by in a blur, and he almost got lost in its enjoyment until the ring of metal caught his ear. stopping to a dead halt he turned to see armored guards chasing him. "Get the raptor arsonist!" The lead one yelled out. What should've been a bad experience proved more a game to the agile raptor, he wasn't afraid of them because he knew he could spin circles around them. But the reminder of his goal hit him and cockily waved to them as he turned and ran down the street. The streets were getting continually more congested and soon it became hard for him to keep a speedy forward motion. "This is not good, I can't run through all these furs." he growled in frustration, looking around for a better path. Then it came to him, the rooftops in this town were very close. He could easily run along them and leap from roof to roof.

As he skipped along the rooftops the thought of his prized characters and sona vanishing fueled his motion. If this had been the other world he'd of been out of breath before he reached the end of the road and most likely dead by now, but as Tezztor he felt truly alive and strong as if he was a natural marathon runner with the jumping power of kangaroo on steroids. No way he could let this go, this feeling, this freedom. Just as soon as this newfound fortitude hit him he remembered the others, like his best friend Rigor. She was fighting for something neat and dear to her as well she had no right to die because of his own selfishness. Stopping to a halt he knew he couldn't risk getting there first, it would mean the death of Rigor or the falcon. Looking down at himself, he felt a great pain in having to make the choice to loose all that he was. "I made a promise, I cannot allow my own needs to cost the life of another." he said nearly broken from his decision. He just sat down right were he was and folded his arms on his knees and rested his head on them. Waiting for the end of himself to reign in its terrible head, without the raptor there was no reason for him to be.

The dragoness sprinted on the rooftops with an eerie, almost other-worldly grace as the billowing smoke and burning building seemed to greet her with high spirits. She slowed, falling through the air from her final leap off the rooftop and landed on all fours in front of the smithy like a regular quadruped would. The fire was exhilarating and beautiful as it hungrily licked the building with an insatiable appetite... It caused her to watch, almost calmed by its destruction. She rose to her regular bipedal manner slowly, her eyes not straying from the flames.. Essentially in a trance.

If there was one thing that did not change between herself and Rigor, it was the absolute fascination with fire. She was a pyro at heart, and would be just as content throwing miscellaneous items into the hungry flames as she would be saving Vosur. She couldn't seem to get a grip on herself, to remember what she'd gone all that way for. But she was the first on there, and that's all that mattered to her now. "There's one of them!"

The short burst of noise caught her attention as she whipped her head around, grabbing the small bag that dangled from her mouth. As if on cue, the guard dove at her, and she found herself, sliding toward him... Under him, really.. on her back. She quickly dug her claws into the man's gut, her feet working as second pair of hands as she grabbed hold of him and lifted, his momentum working as an aid to hurl him. Holding fast to the string of the bag, she swung it, slamming it into his head. A cloud of dust rose from the bag, engulfing the man's body, and with little to no effort, Rigor sprang her legs forward, letting go of him. A look of surprise crept onto his face as he realized his death would be soon. He was soaring through the air at the Smithy.

Rigor leaned back, as if to rock, and pushed up with her arms, performing a perfect kip-up landing on her feet with a devilish grin as she heard the man's body hit heavily and break the door of the smithy as well as many bones. Hopefully, it would allow for Vosur's escape.

ghost flew shakily above he town, trying hard to stay aloft, she was new to flying, and it seemed her power moments before, was just a fluke. the falcon girl could still see OK, but flying wasn't second nature to her yet. she soon realised that she had flown over town, and was well over the woods. "i don't even know what the smithy looked like, and i can't hear smoke" she spat into the forest and then turned into the wind, causing the falcon girl to get more lift making the actual turning easier. once she righted herself and tried flying back to town. this is annoying. why the heck am i even doing this, if i "die" here, I'll probably just get deported home. is that such a bad thing? and besides, if I'm last, that means no one else has to die. ghost thought nodding. once she spotted a large spire type roof in town, she landed on it. a chapel, maybe she wondered resting on the spire. or a town meeting hall, or a guard house ghost froze and twitched when that thought came to her. she slowly peaked over the roof top, careful not to slide off the tower. her ears saw a courtyard with many furs in armor training inside, each wielding spears, swords, and axes. she slowly moved back onto the roof top.

OK, OK, OK, if i fly they will definitely see me. OK come on ghost, think the falcon girl thought to herself rapidly thinking. ghost crept to the edge of the roof once more, she cast out sound for any loose tile, she saw one and carefully picked it up, not letting it scrap much and make a lot of noise. she sighted a guard on the watch wall encircling the court yard. she pulled her arm back and threw it forward with all her might. it flew true and struck the guard (an unfortunate saint Barnard furry) in the head. he tumbled to the ground and nearly every guard rushed over to see if he was OK. while the rest scanned the roof looking for the thrower. ghost darted to the their side of the spire and flew off. wow, i guess i should take back all those things i said to my mom about making me do soft ball for 3 years. ghost thought solemnly.

ghost heard horn calls and angry shouting from behind her. she had been spotted. "almost worked" she muttered as she felt an arrow rush past her, a mere few inches from her head. ghost swore as more arrows flew at her. she got struck a few times, she didn't feel capable of doing areal maneuver's yet. she felt deep and sharp pains, one in her thigh, and one in her abdomen. amazingly her wings haven't been hit yet. OK, what did i think when i made ghost, ugh weak wings, fire, blind, umm she thought as more arrows whizzed by her. the last one shot at her pierced her left wing. she yelped in pain as the pristine silver feathers were stained a deep red by her own blood. she quickly looked around for anywhere to land. she spotted an available roof top. she turned and landed, and quickly slid down the peaked roof a bit to hide from archer's near the guard house. she breathed in and smelled smoke. it smelled like her camping trip a year ago. heavy sent of a lot of burning wood. she sounded out and quickly saw a building that looked familiar. "there's the smithy" she said quietly, it sounded about 5 street blocks away.

ghost paused to think. I'll let the others go, this is fun, but, maybe i should be going home, i bet the others are enjoying this more than me she thought, painfully extracting the arrows from her body and wings.

He started coughing heavily, the heat and smoke getting to him as he was suffering from dehydration and heat exhaustion at the same time. Nearing blacking out and falling onto the ground in a kneeling position, he started to lose consciousness as he heard a very heavy thud against the door from the outside as if someone was trying to ram into it. His eyes opened, looking about with renewed, but fading, awareness as he jumped backwards to where he put B'ar. "Hello? Is someone there?" he managed to yell out before he went into a coughing fit again.

In his moment where he was coughing, he looked about for anything he could use... shield, sword, hammer, anything he could get his mitts on. The increasing smoke and heat made it hard for him to see, but seeing darkness from the outside was actually comforting as it meant that there was an exit. Grabbing hold of the large ursine blacksmith by the collar again, he started to pull him to the opening that was created. The searing heat so close to himself made him jolt in the pulling, which almost made him slip up and drop him in the tugs.

After what felt like an eternity, in the span of a few seconds, he managed to get them out and to safety then dropped to his knees and coughing violently. "I'm... going... to... rip... apart... who started... this... fire." he managed to cough out in a fit of panic-induced rage, his eyes going red as he opened them again.

Many of the Guards seemed to be running for other parts of town, away from me, but a good amount of them stayed at their posts near key points of town that I needed to get to. "I could make a run for the rooftops and get this done quickly, then that runs the risk of getting caught and killed... but I'll die anyway if I make it there last." I pondered as I stood in the shadows of a dark alleyway, motionless. "That treacherous snake, if he dares to try and kill us, an overbearing fool, he would be." Said Shailik, within my mind. "My Lord?" There was no answer, but only the silence of my personal space and the background noise. Was I going insane? Was Shailik taking over? I did not not know, nor did I care. The only thing I cared about now was getting to the smithy first, for I would not settle for anything less than that. I looked down at the blade I looted from that guard I knocked out just earlier, and noticed a small pouch with some kind of powder inside of it. Somehow, I knew it was important to my quest ahead, so I held onto it as I carefully traversed the dark corners of the town, and made a painstaking effort not to be seen by anyone...

As the body crashed into the door a flash of light illuminated even the darkest corners of the area to a blinding white, the magical shell over the building collapsed and dissipated as if it were never there. Fire once contain burst out free from its magical shackles and only the doorway was left open. Onlookers watched in awe as the smithy burned its roaring fire forging something greater now, a new destiny for the land. Mystical eyes looked on from obscurity, his plan going right as he had known it would. Aside from speed, strength and intelligence he was testing loyalty from these contestants to his twisted game.  First to the scene was the dragoness, agile and quick with the intelligence to rise above most of the average rabble, her skills would be put to the test. There was another game about to start, one they would not even know they were playing. Behind her was the Falcon, who had found her wings at last. Next up was the Allosaurus, seemingly innocent but belying a deeper evil that sparked the snake's interest. Last was the raptor, a very strong but noble creature. This one had given up in the favor of his friends, a dire loyalty that simply astounded the snake. This land had not seen such loyalty in a long time.

Sitting on a rooftop half a city away was the raptor assassin himself, Tezztor. "I hope they made it there alright." he said solemnly, knowing full well the price of his sacrifice. There was to be no more of him, a mere memory in the back of his mind that he could not speak of. To him it was a price worse then death to loose your passion. Along the streets the citizens returned to normal and the guards seemed to suddenly loose interest. Not worrying about it any longer he jumped down, but his talons never hit the street. Instead they found themselves in the cool shaded grass below an old hickory tree. "Were am I?" he asked surprised, wondering if he had died and gone to heaven. Out of nowhere the snake appeared through a portal, "I can assure you, your not in heaven raptor." The snake hissed with all the treachery his species had come to be known for in literature. "But if you do what I say I can make it close.."

Rigor darted over to the familiar white wolf, and reached down to help him up. Her build could have fooled anyone as she heaved him up to help him stand. She still couldn't quite believe that there were so many here that she knew. First Tezztor, then Phantom, now Vosur. "You alright?" she asked Vosur. His coughing wasn't comforting to her. She wondered how he'd react to a blood-soaked and dirty Rigor running to his aid. She still hadn't had the chance to clean up. "That's it, I'll bathe in the fountain if I have to." she grumbled.

Glancing around, she realized that Tezztor wasn't around.. And nor were his fan club. Her heart sunk as she saw Phantom landing, and some other dinosaur approach. It was painful for her to think about what might happen to him because she knew he was Therian, and it would be like losing your very own soul for him. He could have made it, he was a raptor whose speed was unmatched by practically any land animal. What kept him? Her mind was reeling with images of guards, at least fifty of them, overtaking Tezztor, and the thought made her almost drop Vosur.

ghost landed near the dragon chameleon creature and the white wolf. she puzzled over his appearance, her pounding head making it hard to focus, her crash into the building after she started flying must have given the falcon girl a concussion. she felt blood dripping down the back of her ear. she shivered involuntarily at the feeling. she looked at the wolf once more and paused, she didn't know what she was supposed to do, she felt underwater, everything felt like a dream. with a start she shook out of her stupor and remembered what to do. ghost moved over to help the scalie supporting the wolf. she didn't recognise the scalie anthro or the white wolf anthro. her head was making her distracted. she crouched down and stood up under the white wolf's other shoulder, supporting him as best she could, but his heavy metal lower legs still folded behind him on the ground. "let's get him away from the fire and into open clean air" she said, not in the soft and cautious voice of the creator of phantom, but in the clear proud, but slightly wary voice of phantom falcon. realising the sound of her voice ghost cleared her voice. "right?" she asked as an after thought. after all she wasn't world weary, she wasn't exactly sure what she could do to help the wolf.

she looked around seeing the dinosaur and the other two anthros. something was missing. she mentally swore ugg come on, focus. your missing something, what is it. ghost gritted her teeth trying to remember. her brow furrowed in concentration. she counted the faces, the dinosaur, the scalie, the wolf... scalie, scalie... TEZZTOR ghost's eyes widened up again and quickly jerked her head side to side looking for the raptor. what happened to him, his character has the stealth to get through a fortress with out being seen probably. where is he. she looked around. she remembered the snake's words. ghost looked down cursing her self. why did you get here so fast, you should have waited. being an anthro dosen't mean a fraction to you as much as it meant to every body else here. what is wrong with you. ghost gritted her teeth. if she ever found that snake she would beat him to a bloody pulp, and then make him bring tezztor back if he sent her away. if it's too late to bring him back, then I'll make that blasted beast pay.

He almost jerked away from the chameleon-dragonness and the falcon, but the sudden heave pulled him out of his rage-induced state of mind, his eyes turning their bright blue when he looked to Rigor. "I'm fine, but the question is... are you both who I think you are?" he said as his breathing started to calm down. He began to stand upright fully to prevent them from supporting himself, taking a glance back to the smithy, who began to cough a couple of times before awakening.

B'ar: "Oi... that af pitten, dinna hiverman! That lilly-livered coward of a snake!" He said, getting up slowly with a few coughs as well from the smoke.

"Damn!" I cursed under my breath, seeing that I was unsurprisingly beaten by two of the people I was following, but where was the third pawn? I wasn't dead, and so I surmised that he had been killed by the City Guard, or perhaps he threw the race. "The Raptor has sacrificed himself for the lives of yourselfand the others.... Curious, why did he give up the fight for your sakes?" Asked Shailik, in deep thought. "I do not know, but..." I hung my head low for a moment and hoped the best for the one who I belived to be a personification of Tezztor, then approached the two who came before me to rescue the white Wolf. His most distinctive features were his metal legs and twin tails, I instantly recognised him as Vosur. The ones helping him I recognised as Ghost with her blinded mystique and silver wings, and Rigor with her neon markings and yellow eyes. "Everyone alright?" I asked, looking around with a nervous and shifty gaze.

(Sorry about to go way back)

As i searched for a fight I realized that there was someone following me which irratated me severly... While i was trying to remain calm i allowed the stalker to get fairly close then spinning with a speed i had never known before and lunging forward with the same speed i tackled the stalker... I got up and pressed one of my feet on his neck and bluntly asked while popping and stretching my knuckles, " Who the hell are you and why are you being stupid and followind me?"
I suddenly noticed i wasn't stretching my fingers but drawing out what seemed to be retractable claws. Grinning from ear to ear and forgetting all about my anger i looked, what i now realized was a cat, and saw all the fear i was inflicting....
Its response was a simple, "my master asked me to follow you and find out what your perpose was..."
looking down another wave of rage hit me as i realized i was a part of a training excercise.  i brought my claws down on its neck and killed it instantly... My first thought was to devour the creature but then i realized that whoever was the heat in this towm would be coming..
"blast... i'll just go hunting then..."
Turning and running as fast and slightly as i could. running straight for the nearest alley and getting the idea th try something... i jumped at a wall and leting instincts take over jumper from wass to wall until i reached the roof. gettin another idea, i went down on all fours and moved even faster. with the ledge rushing toward me  i jumped higher then humanly possibly threw the air to the next ledge and repeating it over and over till i decided to stop...
I then started figuring out EVERYTHING i could do... suddenly i noticed it was night and i could still see... laying down on the rrof and looking at the stars and falling asleep....

Tezztor eyed the snake, unsure exactly what the snake was plotting. Most as he knew, he was expecting to loose all knowledge of his beloved Raptor. As a therian this was a very dire loss, so he had nothing but contempt for the slithering fiend before him. "What exactly are you plotting snake? One moment your threatening my friends and all I hold dear and the next you want me to do your bidding. Surely your not as stupid as you look, or am I mistaken?" he said gruffly, his voice defining a very sharp edge. Yet the snake did not bother to answer him, the serpent's eyes did not survey him or anything it was as if it was lost in thought and he wasn't there. Frustrated the raptor lunged forward, swinging his claws at the snake but the snake teleported out of range. Repeatedly he attacked, but the snake could not be touched by even his own lightning speed. Tired of this game, he growled at the snake. "What is it you want? I'm tired of your games." The fury in his voice belied a need to tear the snake apart, as the rage built up the raptor took over.

finally the snake spoke, "That is exactly what I want to see, the fury and the primal rage of your species. You have no equal you could kill anybody in melee combat you wished, but right now you lack the skill and mental prowess to effectively use your abilities. I however can fix that." The snake explained, smiling the most devilish grin as if amused by his own voice. "The threat I made before was a lie, a ruse aimed only at seeing each of you performing when your need was at its most dire. I knew I couldn't count on you all simply doing what I asked, risking all to save a stranger so I had to improvise." The snake hissed as it shifted its weight and moved closer to the fuming raptor. "All of them behaved exactly as I expected, selfishly with their own interests in mind. But you resisted in favor of their well being when they so easily rushed ahead at the detriment of yours.  It's this kinda drive and loyalty that I desire, a minion who will act in a way that is needed to achieve its goals no matter the cost when something important is at stake."

"Enough of your games snake!." Tezztor roared grabbing out with blinding speed, this time actually catching the snake. The runed scales that adorned him prevented the snakes magic from allowing him to teleport. "Whats to stop me from tearing the head of your body right now?" the raptor snarled throw rows of razor sharp teeth, his mind lost to the raptor and not his own at this point. Despite it all the snake continued to grin,"Careful Raptor, if you kill me you all get sent home. That's right it was I who brought you here, and by my death can you go home. You however don't want to go, I can see it in your eyes. The desire the be who you are, the love and passion for your being burns deep withing the raptor's soul. This herein lies my proposal, you do exactly what I say and All you've ever wanted will be. I can see you still don't believe me, let me give you a gift to show my good intention." With that the snakes eyes glowed as he cast a spell on the raptor. The rags that once covered him turned to the glyphed armor that was Tezztor's trademark, across his back appeared the powerful demon's bane dagger. In his mind the raptor felt the knowledge and instincts come to life, all the skills and mannerisms took over. Tezztor was now fully himself, the cunning and murderous raptor stood in true form.

"This is only the beggining," The snake continued, smiling as if he had already sealed the deal. "Do what I say and you can have all that you will ever need. What about your mate Reirna? She can truly be real for you here. I can see that you enjoy that thought, a place to settle down with her and maybe raise a family. Not only that but as a master assassin the world is yours, nobody can contend with your skill."  Tezztor stood for a moment, the cautious mannerisms of his human mind replaced by the confident and cold personality of the Raptor. Though the rage had not left him and he quickly unsheathed the dagger and held it at the snake's throat. The snake shook his finger and kept his smile, now trying his hardest not to be nervous at what could've been his own biggest mistake. "I gave you this out of good faith surely you must see that. I knew you could kill me but I still gave you this opportunity. You know I will hold to it because you now have the power to kill me with ease. Simply help me and all could be yours! Well Mr. Ne'taku, time to choose."

Rigor let go of Vosur as he stood, "I believe I am if you're from the forum." She absently scratched at the back of her head, "Problem is, I don't know what to do. Tezztor's gone and he seemed to have the right idea of setting up a base camp for gathering information. I suggest we get out of town, seeing how there are people here who.. Seem to be easily controlled and pinned against us. That's where we were headed before 'fate' intervened." She looked around, a bit uneasy of the guards around. "If you were just transported here from some other place, I suggest you follow." She turned around, trying to get her bearings as to where she was to no avail, but she smelled the sweet scent of nature beyond her on the cobblestone path.

ghost stepped away from the wolf once he could stand on his own. she listened to  the chameleon dragon anthro speak and look around. ghost was just looking around, having no specific take on anything at this point. she was dumped in a new world. and she was just slightly over whelmed as all of it caught up to her, being stuck here, the race, the guards. she tried to sort out everything that had happened. she was only more upset when she only counted the other scalie, no one she specifically recognised, rigor, and vosur. tezztor was probably closest friend she had here, now that he was gone. "I'll follow you then" ghost mumbled to rigor. she rubbed her face tiredly.

Vosur leaned down to help the massive bear blacksmith to his feet, his own movements hobbled by the overuse of his legs since he never had the chance to repair them properly.

B'ar: "Thank'ye laddie, but aye'kin stand on me'own." he says as he gets up with a last cough to get the rest of the smoke out of his body. "That snake told me that he had an order 'e requested, but aye've n'ver seen'im 'fore. He said as he held up a bag to Vosur's view, almost hiding it from the others as he did not recognize them.

Vosur: "Don't worry about them, they saved our lives." he said before turning to the others. "I'll stay behind, help the blacksmith to rebuild. Whoever we're dealing with, I feel we're not ready yet to combat him. Go do what you two need to, but stay safe and don't do anything reckless yet."

B'ar: "If'n ye'needin' gear, what e're we've got, ye'r w'come to when we get runnin'." he said, patting Vosur on the shoulder. "An' we've lot o' work t'do, lad."

I felt that it was strange how I was the only one that was not recognised, and how the body and persona that was chosen for me was one of the least dear to me. I knew the others at least held those personalities close to them, so why not me? I though that maybe Shailik was testing my Sanity and Fealty, but quickly denounced that idea and silently told myself that Shailik wasn't real... "It all seems so vivid, this can't be just my imagination, and if it isn't, then what is it really?" I said in a whisper to myself, but still inadvertently loud enough for the others to hear me talking to myself. "It was not I who brought you here, not had I planned on doing so. There is a powerful force at work that even I have yet to fully comprehend the nature or magnitude of. It has brought you here for reasons unknown, and I know you intend to find out why you are here and how you can go back to your old life." I stood there for a moment, silent, in deep thought. "I'll do anything... My Lord." There was a short pause, "Very good, now you must lend aid to your companions and follow them on this journey, but be wary of them, as they may betray your trust so that they might stay in this world. Be prepared to face off against them in the final gauntlet, and do not hold back any of the powers you will learn from your journey, for they will do the same to fulfil their own goals..."

Tezztor looked at the snake with a coldness typically reserved the the most heartless of trained killers. The light in his eyes turning to a calculated gaze replacing that of the warm gentle human he once was. It almost scared himself how much harm he wanted to inflict on the wolven city nearby. His scaly lips pulled back into a smile and he threw the sorceror to the ground. "Weary yourself sorcerer and take heed of my words, if I feel for the slightest instant that your words no longer hold the heft of the promise you just professed to me I'll separate your skin from your muscles." he remarked, the snake nodding believing him. Rising back up from the ground as if one were coaxing him with song, the snake slithered back over to Tezztor and handed him a note. "The persons on this page are hereby marked for death. How you go about it is your business and why they need to be killed is my own." As soon as the words hissed from his mouth a portal opened behind the sorcerer and he hastily went through, not wanting to give the raptor a chance to change his mind. It was a risky bet giving the raptor the tools he needed to be what he was, but a needed one for the tasks ahead.

The assassin stood a moment, in the cool shade of the tree staring down at his dagger. As cold and calculated as he was, he was also one with honor and killing these people without knowing of their crime was not something he enjoyed. Then there was his friends, what he chose to do might ultimately effect them in this land by association. "Might be best if I let them think I'm dead till I figure this out. Don't want to draw any unessesary attention to them or myself if I don't have to. Sheathing his blade he krept off towards town, remaining in the shadows unseen. Up ahead was the guard house that guarded the southeastern gate, outside a few knights rambled on about their journies that they had just returned from as the guards ignored them. He lept into a tree with such effortless ease, his powerful legs propelling him upward into it. "Hmmm now how do I get back in without being seen." he pondered unaware that the guards were no longer after him.

Inside the city the two iguana twins argued back and forth annoyingly like two eighteen year olds cheerleaders debating over what guy liked who. "Do you think hes ok? The sorcerer took him away before we really got to know him." Liszardia worried outloud. Not to appear like she cared less, the typically quieter sister Nara spoke up, "I'm sure hes fine and even if he weren't at least he got to die happily knowing he got to spend time with me" A sheepish grin washed over her black muzzle knowing full well she was instigating the wrath of her sister. They went back and forth heatedly for a few moments, even stopping dead in their tracks to argue it out but then as suddenly as it started it stopped. They both turned forward and walked as if nothing had happened at all, the cohesiveness of it might of seemed odd to onlookers. "We need to get out of the city before anything else happens. If it does at least we won't be near the populace and there would be less chance of danger. We have a cottage outside the gates." Liszardia offered, trying to feel helpful to these strangers.

Rigor walked on, her claws clicking on the stone path as she took each step. She gritted her teeth and balled her fists impatiently as the two iguanas argued over Tezztor. Each comeback from them made her cringe. Each sentence evoked anger, and her head went down, shoulders drawing up like a person surprised by a shot from a gun. She was trying hard not to let their arguing hinder her thought process, but their incessant gabbing was enough to make her want to grab up a random citizen and literally snap their spine in two over her knee.. Using the two pieces to beat the two iguanas like a pinata until they shut up or candy came out of their guts. Either was fine, really because candy made everything better, but the shutting up would make it a very peaceful walk. The more she thought about it, the more she agreed with herself that both results would create the best environment for her stroll because she could release her anger, then revert to being relaxed and have her candy like a good little dragon / chameleon hybrid.

For a moment she found herself grinning at the thought, but then she realized that the two reptilians were silent.. And that made her smile more broad until one of them spoke. Her shoulders drew up again, her head resuming its position downward and as the words continued, she turned her head as if receiving a bitter taste karma for her previous thoughts. She only picked up on, "We have a cottage outside the gates." Her posture relaxed a bit, and she turned around, looking to them almost dumbfoundedly.

"Well, how about you lead the way? But I swear, anymore arguing and we'll have to put one in the back and the other in the lead. It's gonna make me crazy."

phantom followed behind rigor. keeping pace with the taller anthro proved to be a bit difficult for the smaller falcon girl but not impossible. she listened to the iguanas for a few seconds then quickly tuned them out and focused on her walking. her right wrist was giving her trouble, when she fell she surely must have cracked it. it felt hot and puffy. phantom figured that her wrist must be a bright pink or red by now. she absent mindedly tried to fit her wrist into her pocket, trying to immobilize it as best she could. phantom scowled when she remembered her predicament. shorts and a shirt was basically all she had, no pockets. with an annoyed huff she kept her head down and followed behind rigor. not particularly caring what direction they went. all the falcon girl wanted right now was to go home.

Vosur turned back to the blacksmith, parting ways with his recently-regained friends. The two slumped into a sitting position a safe distance to look at the blacksmith's livelihood in smoldering embers, the two unable to do anything to save what was burning and the structure actually surviving against the flames. The inside had charred shields, armor and weapons of various melee types hanging on racks that were falling apart, but the weapons themselves retained very little damage besides the direct burning.

Vosur: "It looks like we could salvage whatever isn't too damaged, then melt down anything that is and make it into something new."

B'ar: "Aye, that'd work quite well, but even if just some burn marks, they're no use to th' customers... their temp'rin' is messed up and Ah'd 'ave to melt'm down 'gain."

Vosur slowly rose to his feet, then B'ar did as well, as a bunch of guards came to the smithy, them seeing a dead guard next to the smoldering ashes.

Steadily, I followed behind the others, not saying anything other than the incoherent and unintelligible muttering to myself. The place and people around me were very unfamiliar to me, but I felt at home being here. Although I had yet to get used to this body, I really wanted to become comfortable with it, but it just felt too alien... too inhuman. The power felt so good, yet so wrong, as if it wasn't meant for me, like I had betrayed and destroyed my humanity for something greater, and slowly, it seemed like the contrast between my old self and my current self was becoming less apparent.

Liszardia sped up as the left the gates and down the road into the countryside. The grass was always so green this time of year and the trees lining the nearby forest swayed gently in the breeze. Off in the distance a myriad of homes could be seen, most constructed from simple materials but one in particular stood out from the rest. It was a stone building of very fine build, arching wooden designs at its crest. As they came closer even more intricate designs could be seen engraved into the stone and woodwork. "Ah home at last," Nara sighed with relief as they neared the edge of the village. "Such an eventful day too, and you said going to town was a menial task." Liszardia snickered practically continuing her sister's conversation. The smile quickly left her muzzle as they neared closer, turning quickly to horror. "What the..." both sisters exclaimed in unison. As they looked onward the seemingly unharmed homes played host to a town square of mutilated corpses, all strung about in violent ways. With a seconds thought Liszardia called forth her wolven companions, renewed for the fight and her sister readied her staff. "Who did this? These were all peaceful folk." Nara said a hint of sadness in her voice.

"It was I" A voice rang from seemingly everywhere, and yet no body could be seen to attach the voice to. A loud and cold laughter overcame them as a black dragon took corporeal form in front of them in the square. It was a imposing figure that wreaked of evil and foul intent. Clad in armor of charred black and red the large being stepped forward holding out its deadly claws. Inside the claw formed a hilt and following it a long and twisted blade that as soon as he stuck into the ground, caused the sand to turn black and fire erupted from the nearby grass and flowers. "I thought the fun was over, these peasants did not give the enjoyment I was so hoping for. So weak and feeble all that they barely lived long enough to sing to me their pleas of mercy and pain. Maybe you will serve to that end and make my trip here actually worth its while." The Onyx dragon sneered as he folded his arms cockily, seemingly not the least bit worried about the fellowship before him. His eyes began to glow and sharp tendrils began to erupt around him, more of a display of power then anything but without warning they sunk back into the ground. "Lets see how quick you are.... dodge!"

Rigor eyed the corpses around, almost concerned. The iguanas seemed as disturbed as they were upset, and the large black dragon stood there, condescendingly. She looked up at him, a bit bored with his display. She didn't know why, but it didn't impress her. Her human self would have probably thought it was amazing, and would want to learn more.. But Rigor.. She just.. Expected more than a magic show and a couple of casualties. "Hell, I could do this on one of my off days." she giggled, "In fact, I have." Her mind flashed with memories of her character's past. It was odd... The girl within found her mind further and further from the world she had been in before all of this.. And closer to Rigor's mind. It was as if her actual memories had been printed on wet toilet paper. She shook her head, trying to clear her mind.. Then Rigor continued on, "I'd have taken their intestines and worn them as a necklace if I'd wanted to scare someone." The dragon was clearly not entertained. Without warning, he shouted "DODGE" and a tendril shot up out of the ground beneath her, causing her to leap into the air with a flash. As the dragoness landed, she gripped an oversized scythe in her claw, and the tendril writhed on the ground.. A clean cut. She looked on in amazement. Where had she gotten the scythe?

ghost's eyes widened at the sight of the casualties around the home. before she could question it a dark dragon showed up and spoke. teh human in ghost would have been scared stiff. but the Ghost on the outside wasn't scared. merely wondering what she would do if she had to act. she wasn't in the best fighting condition, her mind worked through her options, not much protection clothing wise, and no weapons, and a broken wrist and possibly a concussion. she remembered the fire in the alley, but she wouldn't try that here, one wrong move and the whole village could burn to the ground. the raptor yelled "DODGE" and rigor jumped and moved away, a black and deadly looking scythe appearing in her hands. ghost knew rigor could handle herself in a fight, and even if she couldn't Phantom wouldn't run out and try to fight, her poor condition would merely be a liability in a true fight. her mind started running through possible courses of action while she watched rigor and the black dragon react.

Vosur and B'ar conversed with the guards to explain what had happened, the carnage that ensued through the evening and the fire that was finally put out. After finally being convinced that the two were not at fault, the guards picked up the body and began to prepare for a mass funeral for the fallen. Unaware of what was going to Rigor, Ghost, and Tezzator, they started to salvage what was left of the smithy to rebuild it as much as they could throughout the night. The two joked about left and right as they worked, every once in a while the two would have to stop and rest as both of them were not at their best. Vosur would have to use what tools remained to make temporary repairs on his legs, Ba'r would have to readjust the sling for his arm. It was a long and arduous night for the two, using what they could to make the parts they needed for repairs to the weaker areas of the smithy, though they were able to melt down and use most of the damaged weapons and armor for many of the repairs. All that remained were roof repairs and ash-sweeping.

The copses lying on the ground and the innards strewn about disturbed me, but oddly wasn't nauseating, as I was sure it would have made me feel in the "real" world. I sensed a threat nearby, somehow like I had a sixth perception, and hastily drew my weapon. Soon after, an unfamiliar voice spoke to our group, and an ominous laughter manifested itself along with what appeared to be a black Dragon, he claimed to be the one who murdered the people that lay before us, I believed him, and I swore that I would compensate for the innocent blood spilled today with his own. He made his attack, but not before foolishly warning us of it, and we avoided it almost effortlessly. "You're gonna pay for all the people you killed, Dragon..." There was a cold tone of vaunted hatred in my voice, punctuating on the utterance of the word Dragon. I pointed my blade and a vengeful stare at the impudent upstart, and soon, an aura of anger emitted from my body, and subtle percussions that sounded like sledgehammers pounding on a metal beam, matched my slowed heartbeat. I gritted my jagged teeth and licked each individual tooth in a bizarre fashion, my eyes then became drained of all color, like gigantic pearls with tiny red vines wrenched around them. I had become lost in an unnatural rush of hatred, and I knew it would only stop when my claws were stained with every ounce of his blood...

The large dragon smiled, amused by their bravery. " The tendrils are but play things, easily conjured." he laughed as he walked calmly towards them as if they were old friends. As he made his way forward his physical form faded to a shadow like gas, bubbling about before taking a new shape. The figure shrunk to a much shorter and nearly black shadow of the young dragoness and from his shadowy claws sprouted a perfect replica of her scythe. He laughed mocking her as he raised his claws to his ears and danced about, shaking his hips from side to side. "Life is so much more fun when you fill it with chaos but to murder you with your own shadow is pure delight." he taunted amused by his own doings. As suddenly as he stopped the shadowy figure of Rigor split creating 4 more shadows which took the form of the others, a bird, a dinosaur and two iguanesses." Tendrils can be cut, torn asunder and all manner of things quite easily, but how easily can you beat your own double? With all the strength, wisdom and agility that you have. What you know they know." he remarked this time taking an eerie seriousness to him and he reformed back at his sword, still stuck into the ground.

Tezztor strode down alleyway after alleyway, heading straight for his first victim. His scaley mug shown no signs of remorse or concern for the killing of the one on the list. It was simply something that must be done for him to find happiness for himself. "I've spent too long in my life serving the needs of others and why? So they can betray you when your use has outlived its need? The wolves of this city will pay dearly and they will fear the mentioning of my name." he stopped to laugh, amusing himself at his own dark humor. "I am the dark lord Tezztor, and I command you my furry minions to die!" he paused for a moment before continuing his thought. "I wonder what the people on this list have done to deserve this fate that I have been ordered to serve.  By my own honor that I risk their lives to fullfill my own. I feel there is more to this then simple murder, these people must be of some importance and though I may not like it, it could give me more of a clue to whats going on in this world." he thought as he moved on down the street, nearing his goal. The citizens and the guards paid him no heed as if the event earlier had never happened, this struck him as a bit odd given how much fervor was put into his chase. The details of that event in his mind seemed to fade as if stuck in a foggy cloud in his mind. the memories of the Raptor were taking over and the existence prior was becoming a mere memory.

The sun was setting and most of the furs in town had retreated to their hovels for the night. It was the first time since his arrival any sort of serenity hit him as he took in his surroundings. Maybe it was the dead of night or the feeling of the hunt but he had never felt more alive then right at that moment. He stopped at the edge of a building and peered around at the smoking remains of the smithy. There he saw the white wolf working with a bear as if trying to repair it. He didn't know the bear but somewhere in his mind it seemed he might of known the white wolf but he shook his head without a thought and unsheathed his deadly dagger. Muttering a prayer in his own tongue he coated the blade in a poison, readying it for use. Looking back to the smithy he watched them and as they both turned away he slunk closer, making sure to stay downwind of them as to not reveal himself. He did not cringe at the thought nor pour over his morals in killing this innocent, he had a job to do and he aimed to do it with as much precision as his namesake had come to be known for. The bear joked with the white wolf some more as the day faded into night, unaware of his impending doom.

Rigor smiled and leaned to her shadow, taking a claw and grabbing a cheek of the shadow, shaking it like an auntie to a child. "Awww. She looks so cute. Just like me in my opinion. It only upsets me that I've got to fight a pawn and not the coward behind it. Though I will say, she's more of the light of the party since she's so willing to dance and play, Kiolosk. You could have done a better job." She grinned wickedly despite the odds, her long striped and serpentine tongue escaping from her mouth and dripping with a green substance.. She only knew this character because of seeing him so often in stories and other things her friend had written and portrayed. "Tsk, Tsk.. I'm disappointed. Let's see just how much she is like me. I'll give her the first move."

phantom listened to the dragon talk and then heard the shadow ghost walk forward to her. phantom grimaced and raised into a fighting position. ok, so she knows about my wrist and head. huh, well even if i was in my best shape i don't think i could do this, if i know this, then she knows this. phantom looked over at the iguanas' shadows'. either of them could probably take me down, and i might be able to take out the large Dino's shadow. phantom tried to think of a way to ask the others if they could switch partners. phantom knew deep in her gut she would not win this fight if she had to face her shadow.

After a while of working, the two stopped to eat, then Vosur stood up after finishing, venturing to clean up the ashen debris with a broom. During the sweeping, he hits against something among the ashes with his foot while sweeping... an obvious metal-to-metal clank was heard in the small pile of ashes. Kneeling down and brushing a little bit off of what hit his foot, he reveals a handle with a slight 'hook-basket' in shape. Further brushing away revealed an incomplete and unsharpened sabre, his hand hitting against a sheath about the right size and shape for it as well. He picked up both pieces and cleaned off as much dust and ash as he could, then slid the sheath over the blade... memories of the sword that was introduced to his character in the storyline he made flooding his mind. The sword-and-sheath set weren't aesthetically-similar, but the feel of the weapon was familiar to him as though it were his Spirit of Ebele.

Dropping the broom and holding the set up to the oncoming moonlight and faint light of the guard-house torches in the distance, the thumb's-width of the exposed blade he held to the light seemed spark memories. Repressed or recently-attained, it didn't matter, it made him smile for a split-second... seeing the Angel with his favored weapon, countless battles that led up to and beyond the meetings of his loved ones, seeing his two children born. After that flood of memories, his demeanor became serious as he remembered the fates of them all in his story: anyone who became his beloved died, first child went missing and never to be found, second child died with his last beloved. Finished with reminiscing, he glanced back to the blade just long enough to catch the reflection of a set of eyes watching him off the hilt.

Vosur: "You mind if I keep this?" he called out to B'ar, holding up the sword and sheath to his view, but not turning around to face him... his ears swiveling about to find out about in search of anything out of the ordinary.

B'ar: "An'thing y'kin use, be m'guest." he replied, doing what he could to make his place appealing to customers again.

Seeing this shadow of myself made me realise again what I had become, causing me to draw back a bit. "Will I ever go back?"  My aura as well as my morale suddenly vanished, but I did not drop my weapon or lose the will to fight. Knowing that the shadow would know all of the novice sword techniques that I had learned in my previous life, I quickly fabricated a plan to simply out-last this doppelganger. I wasn't totally sure if they could suffer from exhaustion, but it was worth a shot if I failed to kill him in a fair fight. "Your move, my little impostor." I mockingly gestured to myself, challenging the copy to attack first.

The dark dragon knight looked on as the fellowship before him stared down their own shadows. While it wasn't as amusing as it seemed like it would be in his mind, it did serve as a nice distraction from the typical pushover resistance he typically received. Not speaking a word he merely snapped his scaley claw and the shadows rushed their counterparts. Sitting down lazily on the edge of the stone fountain he let out a fierce yawn, he had been awake for days searching for the source of the surge of power he had felt in the region. Typically nobody but his own brother could compete with his power, however whoever or whatever caused this fluctuation held quite a bit of it themselves. 'Days since rest, days since I've eaten." he muttered exhaustively to himself like he had carried a heavy boulder up a hill. The clash and yells of the first pairing snapped him out of his stupor, looking over he noticed the two iguanas twins feverishly battling for their lives.  While the beastmaster twins sent wave after wave of summoned wolf at each other, the monk twins were exceedingly exciting to watch. Lighting fast twirls of the staff clacking in an almost inhuman beat. One would flip and the other would twirl around for a tail attack, neither able to overpower the other's skill.

Tezztor slunk around in the darkness, not making a sound and staying downwind of the two inside. He stood patiently for what seemed like hours waiting for the perfect moment to strike his prey. The more he thought about it the more he desired it, almost lusting for the kill. He watched the white wolf rummage about the wreckage, finding a blade of sorts that he could not see from his perch. The bear however had his back turned to him, remaining mostly stationary. "This will only take a second" he thought to himself. From the time he would strike to the time he could get out of there would seem only like a flash in a moment and if the target did not die from the brutal strike the poison would finish what he started. "Which is more deadly, the bear, the wolf or the raptor?" he entertained in his mind, smirking at the notion.

The dragoness jumped backward, loving the rush of adrenaline as well as the rush from her opponent. One technique she was quite fond of was a little thing called timing. As the shadow charged to her, its attack was broken with her first strike with her scythe to its gut. She had sidestepped and sliced, cleanly and efficiently. So much in fact, that she shadow stopped and turned towards her without any sign of impairment for another attack until black substance that would have more than likely been guts began to burst out onto the ground and disappear. The shadow clutched its stomach as if to try and hold it all in. And let out a frustrated roar.. Swinging its scythe in turn and nicking her on the face. Caught by surprise, Rigor stumbled backward and fell flat onto her rear. Her long tongue lapped the blood from her wound until it completely healed on its own.. But by the time she could focus back on her opponent, the shadow was on top of her, scythe in the air, readied to land a hit on her skull. The over-sized death blade came hurling downward, and as if it were an instinct, she grabbed the doppelganger's ankles with her feet and rolled, causing the shadow to fall to the ground. At the last moment, she let go with her feet and lifted with her arms performing what looked like an extremely flexible cartwheel and landing with her foot on the shadow's throat. Her claws dug into it's windpipe and  in response, it scrambled wildly in search of its dropped weapon. It was disgusting... Rigor looked down at it, scowling. Without further thought, she wrenched her leg and there was a snap.

torque. phantom thought before the onslaught of her shadow hit her. the black falcon stepped forward with speed and swung a hard blow to phantom's jaw. unsuspecting the straight forward attack she was unprepared and the blow connected solidly. before the silver winged falcon could react her doppelganger sent two hard uppercuts her way both connecting with her stomach. ghost locked her stomach muscles a bit to late and had to step back away from the shadow while she fought to regain her breath. the merciless shadow smiled and stepped forward to close the distance once more and threw a feigning blow toward her left shoulder, ghost twisted away from the punch but had missed the sideways power kick that connected solidly with her ribs and back. phantom was forced to hop to the left and forward once more from the force of the kick, putting the battered silver falcon right back into range for her doubles's fists. the shadow was rewarded to two solid fist jabs to the silver winged girl's stomach before phantom stepped away.

ghost stepped back and tried to breathe. the battle was hard on her and it was taking her toll, having thrown no punches of her own the real ghost was surprised at herself. the shadow had copied exactly every throw and punch she would have made, if her wrist and skull weren't bad at all. if i were me, right feign and left jab followed by a grab and a knee. phantom counted as the shadow followed the planned route to the letter. the dark falcon grinned as she hit her lighter opponent, not suspecting what she was thinking except for all the pain that was filling her. the real ghost grimaced. taking the punishment as well as she could. she knows my skills, but... ghost dodged the next attack, relying on instinct on what she would do. the doppelganger landed only one lucky shot in her next barrage.

i can dodge, but it won't win me the fight ghost thought as the shadow had backed her farther and farther away from every body. she quickly dodged around her shadows next attack and proceeded to step around her so ghost's back was now to the others. if she had to back up now she had more room. but right now she didn't intend to back up. she leaped at the shadow who wasn't facing towards or away from the silver falcon. the dark falcon was startled but reacted well by grabbing the silver's wrist and wrenching her over her shoulder, sending the silver falcon flying and crashing into the side of a house. phantom snarled as she heard and felt the bones in her wings crack. she sprang up, angry and letting her fury power her she charged the girl again, leading with her broken right wrist, just as she knew the doppelganger would, the black falcon grabbed teh broken wrist, and threw her hips to the side to try to launch the silver falcon over like before. but this time ghost was ready she dodged the check and slid in right behind the shadow. she stood close and swept her own feet in and out sweeping the doppelganger's feet out also causing her to fall to the ground. ghost worked her right arm free from the shadow's grip as she fell and now hooked her hard right arm under the shadows throat. with her left hand she picked up a good sized chunk of rock and was ready to bash the shadow's skull in.

Vosur: He kept hold of the weapon, using his other hand to reach down and pick up the broom, the feeling of uneasiness as he looked to the bear. "You think we did enough rebuilding for this place today?" he spoke out to the massive blacksmith.

B'ar: "Ah've wonted better overhead anyways, an' it will'nt rain today... so guess 'tis a good 'dea t'ave a drink." he said, wandering towards the house, noticing Vosur's expressions when he held the weapon. "Ya'look like ya' were a pup with a toy for a mite, then allovasudden ya'were like ya'saw a fun'ral. Care t'lay yer troubles on this ol' B'ar?"

Vosur: "I do not intend to lay my troubles on you as you have enough to worry about. Let's say that I remembered the past, both good and bad." he said, a smile to the bear as turned his head to keep track of B'ar as he walked by himself and into the rebuild of his home. He stayed outside, looking into the progress of the rebuilt smithy.

B'ar: "Past remembered by a mutton of an unfinished weapon... heh." he joked as he went in and started to rummage through a charred-but-intact chest of his belongings, pulling out and trying on a pair of Cesti, which seemed to fit his hands and wrists as he adjusted the metal-plated gauntlet-like punch gloves. "These things managed to survive that infernal disaster. What a reckless lad Ah'was."

Vosur was silent for a while, not paying attention to the blacksmith now, his hand dropping the broom as his recessive hand, which was now his right hand, gripped the sheath of the sabre and thumbed the weapon slightly out of it. He couldn't smell if there was anyone else out there, his ears were constantly scanning the area for unusual sounds as they swept back and forth.

As I waited for my opponent to make the first move, he copied my weapon and behavior, and held his ground. This annoyed me a little, knowing that both of us would be equally unwilling to make the first move. I prefer a more defensive pattern in fighting, so it made sense that my copy would too, but then I finally decided to get this over with quickly and attack first with a lunging strike, he deflected the attack, but to his dismay I anticipated the direction of the move and disarmed him by twirling the sword out of his grip, and it landed on the ground a few yards from us. This made him angry, and he let loose with several clawings and bites, which was unexpected to say the least. As I frantically tried to block and counter the spontaneous assault, I dismembered his right arm at the shoulder with my blade of cold steel, and the copy let out an inhuman screech as he grieved over the loss of his primary arm, tightly holding his shoulder, which was profusely dripping with a black, blood-like substance. I approached him cautiously, he then looked up at me and gave a weak, defiant roar. I felt satisfaction, and maybe even pleasure from seeing my foe kneeling on the ground before me, and readied myself to finish it all off by turning my fallen enemy into a lurid slurry of blackened ooze, but he died before I could do so, and melted into a thick puddle of dark liquid...

The dragon dark knight yawned again, his maw spreading wide revealing rows of razor sharp teeth. A puff of fire escaped his maw he has let it out, almost resembling a magician's show. Standing up be walked towards them casually, clapping his claws together as if he had witnessed a show. "Very well done you have all beaten yourselves. Still it was amusing to watch and you will all be glad to know how much I will enjoy each of your heads as a trophy. Don't fret, I won't feel a thing." he smiled, reaching his hand back as if to grab something out of air. At that same instant his massive two handed blade, one befitting a dragon of his size, flew from the ground and into his grasp. With a click of his claws the blade caught fire and the puddles of black viscous goo on the ground sprang back to life, once again forming shadows of their masters.  The dragons form seemed to fade in an out of corporeal and incorporeal forms, jumping from spot to spot instantly and before they knew it he was upon them. Wasting no time he swung the massive blade in a wide arc, the fabric of reality around the blade seemed to momentarily tear and sent ripples outward from the blade. The dragon laughed like a maniac, loving the chaos.

Tezztor looked onward, adjusting his position edging himself closer to his target. The two increasingly separated themselves from each other, the bear went into a different room, seemingly unaware of his surroundings. The white wolf remained and he kept a close eye on him. Somewhere in his mind the white wolf seemed familiar, like they had met before but he shook his head removing the thought. The time was perfect for a strike, his victim completely separated from the other if even for a moment. He slunk through the window and crept up behind his prey, barely making a sound other then the soft clacking of his talons on the floor. As he reached the target he heard him say, "What a reckless lad Ah'was." he smiled and coldly added in his heavily hiss accented voice, "Somethings never change." before the large bear could react he jabbed his dagger into its back, wrenching it in then pulling it viciously up the spine. He stepped calmly backward watching the bear writhe as he sniffed the air for others, the only scent remaining was the wolf. Stepping out of the door he looked a Vos while twirling his dagger around his claw effortlessly, muttering a prayer in the raptor tongue. There was a palpable tension in the air as the blood curdling noises from the other room filled the night. A smile curled up on his lips as he brought out a piece of paper from his pack and used the blood on the dagger to cross the name off the list. Putting it away he looked coldly back at the wolf.

The dragoness growled, tired of the dragon's games. She wanted shelter, she wanted an explanation.. And she was pretty irate with this stupid overgrown lizard getting in her way. Again, she leaped, this time looking like a lion leaping for pray, her expression even matching the feline with a vicious roar and her claws in front of her, eager to dig into flesh. Her scythe clattered to the ground, disappearing with a puff of smoke as she seemed to glide, almost weightlessly through the air.. Her destroyed wings flapping behind her like a tattered and split cape. His head was tossed back, laughing wildly. She assumed that he was hoping for his display to intimidate her and the others because he was leaving a large opening. His blade swung by her, the reality seeming to fluctuate near the blade and as it swiped past her stomach, almost cutting her wide open if she had jumped any lower.. She felt an unnerving tug until it was out of range and she collided with him, her claws digging into his shoulders. As they hit the ground, she retracted her offense and jammed her forearm into the lack dragon's throat and quickly slid her arm under his breastplate, pressuring her claws against his vulnerable underbelly.

Vosur's ears perked as he heard an all-too-familiar sickening sound of a sharp object going through flesh, followed by a very heavy thump from inside the smithy. His eyes turned back into the burned-out building to see the smithy on the ground, struggling for life as he was crawling away from the scene and grabbing a dagger. He could see a figure with a bloody knife, using it to cross off something on a piece of parchment. The figure did not seem warm-blooded in nature nor in body-shape.

Vosur: Locking his eyes with the approximate location of the individual who killed the only person to even give him a chance in this world, he let out a deep growl as his eyes turned as bright-red as the blood that dripped from the blade. His stance shifted to something similar of a samurai's, his left-hand on the hilt of the sabre and his right hand holding the sheath. "What reason did you have to come back and end the life of an already destroyed blacksmith?"

B'ar: "L-laddie..." he manages to speak out, holding the blade blade to the approximate position of his heart as he readies to finish the job started by the assassin. "Th'shop... is yours... if ya'... survive." he coughs out before he fell onto the blade, his body covering over the entire weapon. No more breathing, coughing, or even rasping came out.

Vosur's eyes paled to blue for a split-second, unsure on why B'ar chose to end his own life instead of fighting to stay alive, but he did not stray long on those thoughts as his eyes went back to red on the target, the last words of the blacksmith echoing in his head.

The large onyx dragon roared out as her claws tore through his scales and into the meat and muscle below, his joyous grin replaced by sour discontent. "Get off of me you..."he growled, cutting of his own speech with his struggle to regain control. His anger with seething out of him like a black mist, being attacked in such a vicious way particularly one that got past his defenses always made him extremely upset. He grabbed her by the throat, digging his several inch long blades that one would call claws into her throat. "I'm done with games dragoness" he scowled, still writing from her vicious attacks. The air around them was black from the mist of his dark aura and the world seemed devoid of any sound other then the two of them. He lifted her up and got up himself keeping her eye to eye with him, her feet several feet off the ground. The claws in her neck tightened, then tightened some more, almost to the point of breaking her neck as he squeeze with little effort. No more smiles came from the dragon's maw, instead he slung her to the side like a rag doll. "You will survive another day but your friends instead will die in your name." No sooner did he finish the sentence that he teleported forward to the one iguaness and with a forceful swing of his sword, cleaved her clear in two. A before the blood could even splatter from her open wounds he teleported to the second iguana sister, grabbed her head spun her around and ran his blade clear through her. In another instant he was at the bird, lifting her into the air. She let out a ear shattering scream as her body burst into flames and melted into nothingness. Finally the Dragon stopped and looked at the two remaining fellowship members as the two iguaness sisters' bodies fell over. Only a second had passed between teleport to finish and he set his eyes upon the dinosaur.

Rigor plopped back on the ground as he tossed her aside and laughed through uneasy breaths until the wounds from his claws sealed shut with black substance, and faded to reveal uninjured skin. She rubbed her neck, but watched as he slaughtered three of the group, oddly detached emotionally to the situation. Whereas any other time she would have lost it seeing people slaughtered for no reason, had she still been her human self. She was feeling quite content having spoiled the dragon's games, and watching him rage and try to spoil her game was just adding to her fun. She clapped her hands, still sitting on the ground smiling, "Awww, did I spoil the little dwaggy waggy's show? Seems he has a temper when he doesn't get his waaaay." Although she'd hoped to deter his attention from the dinosaur who had been with them, she couldn't tell if that was honestly the reason or if she just wanted to watch him get even more riled up. She was having a lball despite the fact that three people had been slaughtered in her name.

I watched in anger and disbelief as three of my companions were killed within a matter of seconds, then found that I was next. I subtly wished that I was Isaac, so I could plunge this guy into a Gravitational singularity, or shove a Gamma-ray burst down his throat, but wishes like that don't come true, so I would just have to use what I have to deal with the situation at hand. I readied my blade, despite my opponents blatant combat superiority and a better weapon, I stood my ground. Then Rigor began patronising the black Dragon with a condescending demeanor, it wasn't something I would do or think to be a wise action, but it proved to be a short distraction that I used to my advantage. I silently leapt at my target, gripping the steel shortsword with both hands held downwards to stab into his chest.

Tezztor stared down the wolf, watching his movement closely with his sharp eyes. Not a word escaped his scalie lips, just an eerie silence. he stepped forward towards the wolf grinning, spinning his blade as effortlessly as if it were instinct. "Why did I kill him? I'll answer your question with another, why not? Because I can and there is nobody who can stop me." he coldly remarked, readying his blade in his typical style, a parry heavy defense. "If you think you are the one to stop me then step forward wolf but I warn you, your blood will stain the floor of this pathetic shop." The tension of the room grew, the two could snap into combat at any moment. Raptor vs the wolf and the world would see which was the deadlier predator. The assassin had one thing for sure on the wolf and that was all the talents and skills that he was designed with, having been made himself by the sorcerer. He sniffed the air making sure nobody else but the wolf was around. The wolf seemed uneasy, but angry all the same. "C'mon wolf," he taunted. "You going to stand there and make something of it? I got places to go people to kill so lets try not to delay your inevitable death any further."

Kiolosk fumed over the dragoness' defiance. She was so completely insufferable yet deep down he admired her style, had he been in the same position he'd of done the same. He looked her way with disgust none the less, "Insult whelp, I tire of your mouth. I will just have to shut it for you since you lack the aptitude to do it for yourse....." The dragon staggered and fall back with a crash under the weight of the dinosaur. He sputtered out blood and looked down, a blade sticking from his chest. Despite the immense amount of pain he smiled, his rows of sharp teeth now covered in his own regurgitated blood. "Well played." he merely offered. However a lesser being would've succumbed to such an attack, this was no regular dragon but one gifted with immense power over death. He begun to laugh and his skin and muscle melted away leaving only his wicked, blood soaked skeleton and the blade rattled loosely against bone. The skeletal dragon grasped the dinosaur and got up, claiming his blade as he did so. "You cannot escape me, and you CANNOT kill me." he said with a overabundance of self confidence as he voice echoed amongst the bone. Effortlessly he tossed the dinosaur upward and swung his blade, the world seemingly rippling around it as it moved to cleave the dinosaur in half.

The birds in the sky seemed to come to a halt at that moment, and the wind ceased to move the trees. Nearby bees remained motionless as if suspended in mid air and it was readily apparent that time had stood still. The dinosaur glided safely down to the earth, seemingly unaffected by the change. The dragoness also was not effected and the only sound in the vast silence was the groans of the two iguaness sisters as they came back to life. Their bodies had mended as if nothing had ever happened to them, their gazes looked about wondering what happened. "You are safe now." A voice rang about with the same thunder as the evil dragon, but lacking all of the ominous evil feeling. Another black dragon stepped up, an exact twin of the first but bearing a aura of soothing calm and armor of the finest gold. He stepped up to the now frozen in time skeleton and smiled. "Always the bother, brother." he remarked turning to the others and examining them.

Vosur held his stance, his previous-life's mind familiar with normal swordplay... but something took over his body as his eyes locked with his current opponent. The flow of time seemed to slow down in his mind as he held the stance, keeping himself ready to strike with his current weapon of preference. He couldn't help but notice that he felt himself get warmer, primarily on his hands where his hilt and sheath were, as if his body were readying an attack that required a degree of focus that he did not have in his previous-life. In less-than-a-heartbeat, his pupils dilated as he unsheathed the weapon and swiped at the air, but the metal blade obviously missing the target as he was too far away. He barely had enough time to sheathe his blade as fast as he could before he could see something impact the thick wooden support beam about 20 degrees to the right of his opponent from his position. The "hit" was about as heavy as if B'ar had punched the beam himself with his Cestus gloves, it had caused a small shower of sparks and wooden shards that slightly illuminated his opponent who was in the shadows of the building to prevent Vosur's recognition of this assailant.

His eyes went blue for a moment as he inhaled and exhaled, realizing at what just happened as he felt his body drop in temperature for a moment. "'Chi Dart'... glad to see more than looks carried to this world." he muttered with a grin as his irises contracted and returned to their battle-ready-red, stance returning to how it was before he attacked.

Rigor got to her feet and smiled at the black dragons. "Looks like we're just all full of cheap parlor tricks today." She dusted the dirt off of herself and examined the newer dragon suspiciously. She did not care for help, but something inside her, probably her human self, sighed with relief.. Yet Rigor's refused to show it. It was as if the dragoness herself had taken the girl she once was, her creator, and jammed her in a cage within her own mind to rot and wither away. Her memories were fading.. She sometimes forgot her purpose as Ralph from the Lord of the Flies did.. And therefore wondered why she didn't just let the dragoness take over.. But then with a flash, she remembered her mate and at once, that was all that mattered.. Yet Rigor again shunned the girl's feelings away without so much as a sign of compassion. Rigor strolled over to Kiolosk and ran a casual finger down the bloody ribs , bringing it to her maw and allowing her long neon tongue to curl around it, leaving no blood behind. Her mouth pulled into a sharp toothed grin and her tongue whipped around, clinging to her nose horn. "Well, that was fun, but I think you could do better next time."

I grasped my chest and breathed heavily, wondering how I survived that attack. "I'm getting tired of all these surprises..."  I thought, then I looked up and spotted another black Dragon, and saw that the first one had lost all of his flesh, reducing him to a now inanimate skeleton. "This is just my first day coming here, and I already hate this place." I sighed, conjuring Shailik's robe over myself and I notice my sword is missing from the hand of the skeletal Dragon, back in my possession, concealed within my attire. I walked over to Rigor, who was disturbingly licking the bloody leftovers of the defeated enemy, and seemed to be enjoying every drop. "I think we should do something to make sure he doesn't come back..." I said, loosely observing the frozen bones in front of me, wondering what would happen should I knock it over to hundreds of scattered pieces.

The golden armored dragon surveyed the various persons before him, observing their various personalities. They were amusing to him, mulling about themselves as if they had won a great battle. These mortal creatures had always fascinated him. "Do not mistake my brother as dead or defeated," he finally spoke his voice seemingly otherworldly. "He is merely frozen in time. You all are lucky to be alive as he could've killed you at any moment he pleased." He clicked his clawed fingers and time continued onward, at the same time magical bonds formed around the dark dragon binding him in place. The evil brother roared in frustration, 'Curse you brother, always interfering with my plans. One of these days you will learn to keep your muzzle out of my business." Kiolosk fumed trying to wrestle free of his bonds. The good brother turned to his brother but spoke to the others, "I am Ghivar, crusader of the light and high templar of the raptor caste. Entrusted by my lord to protect this planet from nefarious deeds, both alien and domestic. However I do not recognize your various species, I was aware only of the creations of raptor kind and none of you meet those specifications. Explain your presence here." Ghivar's expression turned from warm to serious, almost aggravated as he awaited their explanation.

Tezztor looked on as the wolf threw a dart at him, unwavering in his focus and coolness. Though the wolf attacked he was far from amused. "Wolf by my right you should be dead now but your not on my list." the raptor exclaimed coldly before turning around leaping to the window still. He lept from the window onto the wall of the nearby window, his talons digging into the wall. With a powerful thrust of his strong hind legs he propelled himself upward into a backflip onto one of the remaining support beams of the smithy, landing as perfectly and effortlessly as if walking. The entire act took him but a moment and he turned and looked down at the wolf through the open roof, left open by the fire that had taken place earlier. "Best find the others wolf and if our paths ever cross again know that you will have no more chances. If you attack me again you will not escape death. Big things are going to happen soon, I can feel it." he spoke confidently. Without a further moment he lept to a nearby building and headed for gate.

Vosur watched as the raptor wall-kicked his way to on top of the support beams of the smithy, then jumped away and out of his sight. Getting a glance of the assailant, resembling a familiar figure, caused him to stay his blade, his eyes reverting to blue before he slumped forward in his stance and lowering the weapon almost to the ground exhaustedly. The thought of pursuing and attempting another shot at the raptor raced through his head, though even if he were willing to attack again he wouldn't have enough energy to go for a third time if he missed. He let the thought pass as he glanced over to the body of the blacksmith, no signs of life showing. "I saw no harm from him, he did his job and he lived a fairly peaceful life..." the white wolf muttered to himself, dragging the blade along the ground as he limped into the smithy. He didn't have much time to grieve over the loss for the sake of this friend, he knew that if the guards were to return soon, he would be the first to blame even though his weapon had no blood on it. First thing he did was to close and bar the door before he tried to cover up what remained of the windows, then dropped the sabre to the side before he strained to drag the bear's body out the back to create a makeshift grave for him. He tried to keep silent for all of this, obviously hindered by exhaustion and prosthetic legs that had not been repaired this whole time, but managed to bury the body and set up a gravemarker behind the smithy, out of view to would-be customers.  Using what wood and metal they had from trying to repair the smithy, Vosur prepared the smithy to be ready to use again, but out of exhaustion he sat down next to the door, bracing himself against it to prevent any unexpected visitors entering in (even though it was barred shut) and slid into a sitting position while grabbing hold of the dull sabre as he fell asleep.

Rigor snickered, taking amusement in the good dragon's belief that she could be killed. "I could have killed him if I'd wanted, but he's just too much damn fun." She was almost insane to be picking a fight with the darker dragon yet again after they had just been saved, but the girl could not get to her own mind to decide that. She was shut out.. And her thoughts and memories seemed to be that of her character. Kiolosk shot Rigor a look that seemed to confirm the thought of strangling her when he broke free. "As for why we're here? Why do you want to know? Because even if I wanted to tell you, I don't think I could explain it myself. I seem to be a contradiction in this place.." she huffed. "I can't remember much other than some sort of labs, but even trying to recall that is like trying to make out pictures printed on wet tissue paper."

A pair of brown eyes appear in a dark corner, the sound of snickering is heard but no one can pinpoint it. Kana has been watching for a while now as the battle unfolded.
He recognises two of the people as some one he has briefly met in the past: "Tezz? Vosur?" Kana shouts with a menecing rumble in his voice: "What are you doing here do you need some assistance?"
Kana begins to prepare for battle.
