I'm not one to argue, ever. (Unless in political debates in Sociology study ^^)
I'm just this happy person who loves trance music. ;-;
I have a pretty good reputation at school. Yet, there's this one girl who tried to ruin it. She goes up to me and pushes my friend rudely out of the way, and asks if I'm a virgin. I reply yes, because I don't see what there is to be ashamed of. She laughs at me, then somehow feels the need of announcing it to everyone in the canteen.
So I'm taking no notice. Some people laughed, but not many. I wasn't bothered if they weren't mature.
But this time it has gotten out of hand, they have started making these rumors on why I am a virgin, (By they I mean that girl and her friends), Joy.
Until today, I announced loud and clear.. (Is a quiet person..) that I'm proud of my virginity, that I'd rather be a virgin than a whore. This girl, has slept with half the school, she's bound to have caught something already and has the nerve to say I've got something? I'm a virgin because I'd rather lose it to someone I love and trust. I'm sorry but that's just the way I am, if anybody doesn't approve, then tough. > That's what I said basically, in front of teachers, dinner ladies, students.
Apparently being a virgin and not being a whore is a bad thing in my school. I can't wait till I move to Uni, and everything will hopefully be much, much better.
/Rant over.
Carry on please. ^^;

Actually, that's very common among girls in high school. We have a tendency to put down those we think should be just like us.

I've seen it in everybody, but meh. At the end of the day, if someone's happy with a quality of themselves they have no reason not to, but shunning others is just stupid.

Not saying EVERY girl is like that, but majority are. Makes the minority look bad...

I know, but I'm really pointing to teenagers in general. (myself too, considering I'm in that age group) But I believe it's the hormones and the whole "learning the world" stuff.

True that.
But I'd never do that. ;--;

That gossip stuff, the manipulative and overly-aggressive character of about 90% of the girls at my school is one of the several reasons I do not trust, associate, or like girls at school.
