Title: Talking Walls

These walls tell a story
A story of pain
A story of sadness
Like eternal rain

You sit here alone
To sulk in your fears
The sickness inside
Brings you to tears

They hear a laugh
They see a smile
But it never seems
To stay a while

Long enough to know
To feel totally lost
And in the end
To pay the cost

Understanding is one
But support is all
Until they let you
Take the fall

As much as you run
You never hide
Their words taunting
And hurting your pride

The walls have seen
Watched you burn, bleed
But you sit back to watch
And expect to be freed

But you must stand up
For what you know best
Forget their judgment
Forget all the rest

Don't hear the walls, now
And just forget the pain
Just forget the sadness
Joyful tears, eternal rain.
