So, today I attempted to pass the CompTIA A+ Certification exam. I can honestly say that this was by far the hardest test/exam I have ever taken. The maximum score is 900. To pass, you need to score a 675. I made a 608. The rest of my computer maintenance class took the exam too, teacher included. Out of the entire class, none of us passed. The highest score was a 634. Second best was 619. Then, my buddy & I tied for 3rd with 608. My teacher scored a 564. A few of us came close to passing, but we still fell short.
Now, if I could legally, I would tell you what you would need to know. But, I signed a legally binding contract that has silenced me on the materials of this test.
If I had passed this exam, I would be getting out of college making $60,000/year. Not bad for the age of 18, eh? I do plan to take this exam again, seeing as how I'm familiar with the material for it. Before I take this exam again, I plan to study as much as possible on the test material. I would love to be certified in A+ technology.
Sooo.... Yeahhhh....
tl;dr: I failed and plan to take said exam again.

Sounds just like the AP tests we take at my high school, I never pass those things x.x And we aren't allowed to discuss the test materials, even though no one really cares about that so the students and teachers talk about it anyways XD
Sorry, tough break there pal, hope you pass next time =s

Scyler I know what you mean on the 601 (the one you failed) I scored a 635, although I passed the 602 with a score of 770 with a required score of 700, the 601 asked alooooot of questions that weren't covered in the class

It was crazy, Roro. I was so overwhelmed... T^T

I know what you mean, I kinda chocked halfway through the 601

I hear you on that one, Roro.
