I just figured that since I'm a newcomer to the forum and am somewhat of a bookworm that this would be a good way to break the ice. Okay, simple rules. Just list your three favorite books in order. Mine are...
1. Life of Pi
2. Eragon
3. The Road (Insanely depressing, but a great book)
But there are so many more...

I love books, I could sit here all day and rave about my favorites, but that would be about everything I read. :D
Here is a partial list, though:
Sphere by Michael Crichton
English Passengers by Matthew Kneale
Foundation series by Isaac Asimov
Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
A Series of Unfortunate Events series by Lemony Snicket
Across the Nightingale Floor by Lian Hearn (also a series, currently on starting book 2, 'Grass For His Pillow')
various cookbooks, particularly one on street food around the globe that I can't remember the name of.
Usagi Yojimbo, graphic novels by Stan Sakai (furry samurai!)
so many more, I will list them later... :)

1. Most books to ever exist, ever.
Okay, really though XD:
1. Take a Thief by Mercedes Lackey
2. Inkheart by Cornelia Funke (shush, its a good book)
3. uhhh... probably The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.
Yeah, bookworms. We rule =3

No offense, but I though Brisingr was terrible. It didn't make any sense.
But I love the other two.

^^ Teehee. I loved Brisngr. And I got it just fine. But the other two were even better.
-
It's not that I didn't understand it, it just didn't make sense and it contradicted itself a lot.
-
1) Raptor Red - For reasons that should be obvious
2) Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six
3) Some World of Warcraft book whose name I can't remember
Raptor Red is practically my bible

I don't know why, but this thread made my love for books grow alot.
1. Be Safe (I read this one so many times)
2. The Harry Potter series
3. Life of Pi (Not sure if it's the same one as you, I didn't read it in english)
I read alot of other books, by Franz Kafka and Tolstoi, but they were mandatory to my class, and I didn't enjoy them much.
-
I used to do almost nothing BUT read books (and play games) but since I found The Furry Forums, my reality is far better than any fantasies, thanks to my fwiends ^^
-
1) Werewolf Rising
2) Skybreaker
3) The Twelve Kingdoms
So many I never heard of... I should read more! :)
-
I've read a lot of books, but unfortunately I don't remember most of them. Heh.
I did really enjoy Stephenie Meyer's "The Host". The Eragon series is good too, and Harry Potter of course. Oh, definitely "Peeps" by Scott Westerfield as well.
-
I don't really read alot either, but I loved the Twilight series, along with the Eragon series.
When I was younger, I loved Little House on the Prarie - By: Laura Ingalls Wilder. :3
And Goosebumps by RL Stine.
-
I basically read books that had been collecting dust in my bookcase, so I don't know if anyone actually read these
1. Bazil Broketail series
2. Shadowrunner 'Kerrigan' Series
3. Armor (sci-fi fantasy/war)
-
"Eden" trilogy (by Harry Harrison)
"Dragonlance" (War of Souls trilogy)
"Cluster" (by Piers Anthony)
-
1. Horus Heresy Series, which is a series by the Black Library, but my favorite books are by Graham Mcneil and Dan Abnett
2. Lord of the Rings (some of them didn't get a LOT of em)- J.R.R Tolkien
3. Garfield comics
-
Wow! I love seeing that I'm not the only avid reader here! This thread is reminding me of a lot of great books that I read and forgot about. And I've actually been meaning to read the Dragonlance series, and book Thief was supposed to be good... By the way, I just read 1984. Great book, but incredibly depressing. Same goes for "The Road."
-
1. The Chicken Book
2. The Book of The Unicorn
3. Good Fairies...Bad Fairies
to name a few.
