A lovely love poem

Roses are red, violets are blue
Why am I writing, when I could just say it to you.
They told me it’s romantic, they told me you’d like it,
But hey who knows, plus I’m enjoying writing it.
Hey Jercia, you’re beautiful in every single way,
From your hair to your feet, you can just take my breath away.
Your eyes are gorgeous, like the star dotted night.
Your hair is smooth and flowing, like an ancient waterfall,
Cascading down your back, in the majesty of it all.
Your smile will last a million years, because I think about it every day.
I know I’m not too good at this poem writing stuff,
I also know I’m not a white knight, upon his noble stead.
But at least I try every day, to sweep you off your feet.
Yeah, I know I don’t have roses, chocolate, you know the works,
But I have my pen, my paper, and you in mind.
Well I have to say adios, au revoire, and goodbye,
Because my poems coming to an end, and I’ve ran out of time.
