I used to watch Batman Beyond all the time when it was on TV, anyone else like it? It's still one of my favourite cartoon shows ever.
Not to mention one of the reasons I wanted to bring it up was that there was this one particular episode about gene "splicing", where humans would splice their genes with animals' basically to become real furries (though of course they didn't call them that on the show). It was a really neat episode, and I remember when I watched it the first time, I remember thinking it was really cool and that I wished I could do that. (That was before I knew about furries.)
A few years later I ended up getting the episode on DVD just so I could watch it again. =3

If memory serves me correctly... the Batman animated series before that had an episode much like that. ???
Catwoman actually becomes a "cat woman" in that one.

Yes, splicing was mentioned in a couple other cartoons as well. According to the DCAU wikia (http://dcanimated.wikia.com/wiki/Splicing) it's been in Batman, Batman Beyond, Static Shock, and Justice League.

Well, it seems like my memory is serving me well then. ^^

Yep. And now that you mention it, I looked up the summary of the episode, and I'm pretty sure I've seen that one too. I think I saw it in Static Shock as well, but I haven't watched Justice League.
