??? It can't be easy revealing to those who thought so highly of you that your a furry. :shcoked: What if they find out by themseles, what wiII they think. :'( Ah man I'm screwed...

Being a furry is nothing to ashamed of! Tell them before they find out themselves, or they might find out the unsavory parts of the fandom and think that your part of some cult. Show them the clean stuff and maybe send them to the Furry article on WikiFur. And if they're still weirded out by it enough to not wanna be with you then [Gets slapped by mod] them! :boom: People should be your friend no matter what or who you are. My friends were all like "So that's why you always (Insert random wolf behavior here)" or make some jokes about it.

A decent percentage of the time, people don't even know what a furry is. So it's not too hard to move on from there - you just need to explain it to them.

Yeah, I guest you are right. I asked somebody if they knew what a furry was and they went on and on about Peter Pann, so I walked away! OMG it was like completely walking into a dead end! :squish:

I don't think it should be too hard, I myself haven't come out to all my friends, some suspect it, some I've come out to and they don't care they just make jokes sometimes, my family thinks I'm weird for wearing a collar and tail, my brother knew/suspected and doesn't care. Its easier to ease them into it too, like me wearing a tail, then telling them once they are used to the tail. I haven't come out to some of my friends because they will equal me to another fur in the area that doesn't have a good name because he is extremely sexual. I haven't told my mom because I know she will look things up and freak about it regardless of how I explain it to her. Im still me, I havent changed so its shouldnt be a big deal, its not like its really 'life changing' like coming out gay is. (I use that analogy because it can be a life changing experience and have no problem with the gay community)

Well, they wern't furry but they COULD be because of fursuiting, but they were just pajamas, so I'd say Peter Pan isn't furry.

That's the bare minimum of the dialouge that I recall...
