Defentally. I would love to go, even if I were alone. But I would NEED a wolf tail. I would want a full-fursuit, but those things are out of my price range, so just the tail and maybe the ears would susfice. =)

Yep! Prolly gonna get a fursuit after I get my job. ^w^ Then my friends and I will go together to furry conventions!

We have fur meet ups in the UK but theyre not advertised  :'( Id only go to Anthrocon because id be going with my mate ^^

Jad, I think there is one, I've seen pics of the writer of a webcomic in a fursuit based of his main char at cons there

Another three or four years and then... moving out... get a job and a bit of money... check out Anthrocon, the Rainfurrest, Further Confusion... Mmmmm...

Heck, if I'm lucky, I might go to the Rainfurrest when I'm only 16... It's only a few miles away from me, in Seattle.

yeah i just searched it theres one in melbourne in december here called miDFur, and theres also one in brisbane but thats really far away. and yeah im going to try to go to that one in melbourne this year (yay its in the school holidays)

I would love to go to one, but I wouldn't want to go alone.
I'd have my bf/fiance go with me since he's a fur too (and that's partly my doing to, I introduced him to it).
I don't think there's any in Maine though...I'd probably have to go to New Hampshire, at least.

I probably wouldn't go terribly out of my way just to go to a con. Maybe if one took place relatively near my area, and I had someone who wanted to go with me.

I am THE only one who has polled no. I've been to them, and seen things. I don't recommend it. Unless of course you enjoy being badgered for sex, having your con room broken into and looted, having to deal with uppity annoying people who believe they are superior to you based on usually nothing or there ownership of a fursuit, (all the fursuiters I have met have been really really uppity and elitist) did I mention the badgering for sex? People I didn't know were just coming up to me and offering it. The only good thing about a con is the dealers hall, which a good portion of you all, being under 18, can't go into, which is a place where one can get original copies of, well, 'mature material'.

But yes, I was excited to go to my first con, which was well dreadfully boring and disappointing. I mean a con is just a group of people who act like animals and hang out in a hotel, and not much more. I will never return to a con, I see no point to it.

Not all cons might be the same.. And a lot of furs do end up enjoying their con experiences. But it is sometimes good to remember that it might not be all it's cracked up to be. I'm sorry your experience was a bad one, Scheer.
