I know, I know, the tittle is a bit cheesy, but I couldn't think of anything better.
Anyway, here goes =^.^=
Chapter One: The Beginning
It was night. Swords and screams could be heard not far away.
"Mommy, I'm scared.", a little fox said, hugging his mother.
"We're going to be okay.", the female fox said, hugging the kit and kissing his forehead.
"Vera, they're closing in", a male fox said, running towards them, "I managed to block the door with some furniture but we still have to hurry.", he said.
Vera got up, hugging the kit tight, and then followed her husband. They opened the kitchen door and ran away as quietly as they could.
They went into the forest. Some minutes later they heard more than one soldier running behind them.
"Take Foxx.", the male said, stopping and unsheathing his sword.
"But, Jonathan...", Vera started.
"Daddy!", Foxx said and hugged his father tight, sobbing.
"There, there...", Jonathan said, kissing Foxx softly and putting him in his mother's arms again, "Now, go."
"Jonathan...", Vera said, tears falling from her green eyes.
"You have to hide, Vera, please... just go!", Jonathan begged, then kissed her.
Vera looked at Jonathan, turned and started to run, trying not to cry.
-
An interesting beginning you have here. A little short perhaps, but good nontheless. ^.=.^
-
Thanks =^.^=
I write little chapters, so.. =D
-
it's good. I like the edge it has even though it is short.
-
I think "Short but Sweet" best describes this. Your writing shows both edge and potential. Keep it up.
-
Nice foxx ^w^ i like it ^w^
-
Thanks y'all. Here's the 2nd chapter. =^.^= (Ill probably be posting the 3rd chapter in some minutes, just need to finish some stuff)
It's a little bigger than the last one, apparently I can't do long chapters xD
Chapter Two: Protecting Loved Ones.
Jonathan saw Vera running away with Foxx in her arms.
"I'll be with you as soon as I can", he murmured, then he turned to where the sound was coming from and waited, holding his sword.
Some minutes later, the soldiers saw him.
"Hey, you!", one of them said, pointing his sword at Jonathan.
"What is it?", Jonathan asked with a cold tone of voice.
"You are one of the foxes that lived in the house outside the forest, right?", the soldier asked with a more cautious tone of voice.
"And if I am?", Jonathan said with the same cold voice, getting ready to fight.
"Then we'll have to take you with us and then we go after the other fox. If you fight, we will kill you and also go after the other fox.", the soldier said, then waited for the fox's answer.
Jonathan looked at the guards.
They'll go after Vera and Foxx., he thought, then he started to think why they always had to be running from the King's soldiers.
It all started some ears ago. The former king had died and his son, who was afraid of magic and such, stated that every fur that knew magic or had any special power would be locked in jail. Two young foxes, Vera and Jonathan, ran away from the soldiers. A couple of years later Foxx was born. He was a different fox; he didn't have any black fur, not even as years passed. The only thing black in his body was part of his hair.
Jonathan snapped back to reality, blocking the soldier's sword. He looked at the soldier then took a dagger from his belt and stabbed the guard. The guard fell on the floor, dead. He looked at the other guards.
"RAHHHH!", he screamed as he ran towards the guards. He wasn't going to be caught. The soldiers were surprised by his reaction and tried to stop him.

Nice chapter Foxx. I'll be waiting with interest for more. :)
-
Amazing Foxx!
Its so sad :'(
-
Thanks =^.^=
.. I know.. but maybe it'll get better, only time will tell.
-
very nice. Can't wait for more. ~shivers in anticipation~ ^^
-
I'd Reccommend working on your vocabulary a bit, as the same course of words are used over and over to infer the same action or emotion.
Also, a bit of a lenghtening could be in order, but otherwise the point is made by the story.
Overall very good, great concept and character dialouge and interaction.
Keep it up ^_^

I know Emopuppy, that's a big problem I have...
Anywho, here's...
Chapter Three: Everything is Lost...
Sounds of swords started to reach the two foxe's ears.
"Mommy, is daddy fighting?", Foxx asked, flattening his ears, afraid.
"... yes... so we can escape...", she said, looking back. Why did they have to be always running away?
Vera started to run again.
I have to find a place to hide., she thought. Some minutes later, she saw a small cave.
"There.", she said, getting in and sitting Foxx in a corner, "Foxx, I want you to stay here, I'm just going to get some leaves so we don't have to sleep in this hard floor, OK?", she said looking at him.
"Uh-huh.", Foxx murmured, nodding once.
Vera went outside and gathered a pile of leaves and walked back into the cave. She placed the leaves on the floor, making an improvised bed.
Foxx yawned and went near his mom. She took him in her arms.
"Are you sleepy?", she asked.
Foxx nodded, leaning against her. She smiled and laid over the leaves, hugging Foxx close. Foxx fell asleep some minutes later. Vera kissed his head softly and also fell asleep.
==========~~~~~~~~~~==========
Jonathan was panting, trying to stop his arm from bleeding; there were five soldiers left.
"You will not put your dirty paws on Vera and Foxx!", he said, then fell on his knees, panting.
"Looks like you're done for...", one of the soldiers told him, smirking and walking towards Jonathan.
Jonathan looked up and tried to stop the soldier's sword, but he was late; the soldier's sword had already pierced through his stomach. Jonathan coughed and looked at the bit of the sword that he could see.
"I'm sorry... Goodbye... Vera... Foxx...", he muttered, then his head bounced against his chest, his sword falling on the floor with a soft thump.
"Let's go after the other two.", the soldier ordered, taking his sword from the dead fox and picking up his sword, "We even got a new sword.", he said, smirking.
==========~~~~~~~~~~==========
Vera woke up startled and looked around.
"What's wrong, mommy?", Foxx asked, rubbing his eyes.
"N-nothing...", she said, then hugged Foxx.
Jonathan, please hurry..., she thought.
Some time later, she hears someone moving nearby.
"Mommy, is that...", Foxx started.
"Shhh.", she did, looking outside.
"Come on, they're near.", they heard.
Did they...?, Vera thought, scared.
"Hey, wait!... That fox was tough.", someone complained.
"Yeah, I know, but we took care of him, didn't we?", the first voice asked.
The truth hit Vera like a brick. Jonathan was...
"Yeah, we -- look over there!", the second one said suddenly.
Vera gulped.
One of the soldiers chuckled.
"Let's get them..."
"Mommy, I'm scared.", Foxx said, sobbing a little.
Vera hugged Foxx tight.
"We'll run away.", she told him, then slowly got out of the cave, hiding behind some bushes. She walked away a bit, then...
"You, go see if they're in the cave.", a soldier ordered.
"OK.", the other answered.
There were some seconds of silence.
"They were here.", he said.
"They can't be far. Spread out and look for them.", the soldier ordered.
Vera started to walk faster, but...
"Why, hello there.", a soldier said, behind them.
Vera felt the tip of his sword against her back.
"Now... will you come with us or will we have to kill you too?", he asked, grinning. Vera didn't answer.
Vera turned around, holding a small dagger and stabbed the soldier. He screamed in pain. Vera turned around and hid Foxx.
"Stay here.", she said.
"Mommy, no!", Foxx grabbed her, tears falling from his eyes.
"There! She's trying to hide the kit!", a soldier said, running towards them.
"You wont lay one finger on Foxx!", Vera yelled, turning around and standing in front of Foxx.
"Heh... you think you can kill us all?", the soldier asked.
Vera growled, making a small ball of fire on her paw.
"What the...?", the soldier looked at her, then started running, holding his sword above his head.
Vera threw the fire ball against the soldier. The ball hit the soldier on the chest and he fell on the floor, motionless.
"You want more?", she asked, looking at the other soldiers. They looked at each other, scared then looked behind them, at the soldier Vera stabbed before.
"So?", she pressured.
Two of the soldiers ran towards her. She threw a fire ball at them.
"One to go.", she said, looking around.
"MOMMY!", Foxx screamed, and started running towards her.
She turned around. The last soldier was after Foxx and was almost catching him.
"FOXX!", she yelled and started running. She caught Foxx and turned around.
She gasped as the sword cut through her.
"Heh...", the soldier said.
Foxx looked at his mother.
"M-mommy...", he said.
Suddenly, the soldier fell. Vera looked around, and saw someone with a cloak, his head covered by the hood.
"W-who are... you...", she asked.
"I'm running from the King too.", he said, then he walked behind Vera and took the sword from her, making her scream in pain.
"This is bad.", the hooded fur declared, then made Vera lay down.
Foxx kneeled at his mother's side, looking at her. The stranger started muttering some words.
"W-what are you doing?", Foxx asked.
"I'm trying to save her.", he answered.
It's no use..., he thought, then looked at Foxx, Poor fox...
Vera looked at the hooded fur.
"Please... take care of Foxx...", she asked, then looked at Foxx.
"Foxx... me and your dad always loved you... we didn't want this to happen... I'm sorry...", she said, then closed her eyes.
"Mommy?", Foxx said, "Mommy! No!", he started to shake her, "No, please!", he begged, tears rolling down his muzzle.
The hooded fur took off his hood. He was a young silver wolf.
"Foxx...", he started, "...it's no use...", he continued then took Foxx in his arms.
Foxx buried his muzzle on the Wolf's chest and cried.
omg Ups, think I overdid it a bit..
-
:'( So sad... You did a great job writing this chapter Foxx. It's brilliant.
-
* SOBBING *
That Was So Sad :'(
Amazing story Foxx, Keep it up!
-
I will keep up guys. =)
I had a little problem with the name of this chapter, but in the end it came out =^.^=
Here's...
Chapter Four: A New Home
The silver wolf looked down at Foxx and started petting his head as he cried.
I have to bury her, at least..., he thought, looking at Vera's body.
Foxx looked up, his muzzle wet from the tears.
"W-who are you?", he asked with a sad voice.
"I'm Keith.", the wolf answered.
Foxx looked down.
"Why...", he said.
Keith didn't answer.
Foxx looked at the soldiers and saw his dad's sword.
"My dad too...", he said, then started crying again.
Some minutes later he fell asleep. Keith laid him down and covered him with his cloak then he went to Vera's side. He muttered some words, making a hole on the forest floor. Fifteen or so minutes later the hole was big enough.
"This should do.", Keith said, panting. He grabbed Vera's body carefully and placed her inside the hole.
"I'll take care of Foxx.", he promised. Foxx woke up and looked at Keith then started walking towards him. Keith turned around.
"Oh... Foxx...", he said, getting on his knees.
Foxx looked at his mother and hugged Keith, sobbing.
Keith hugged Foxx back, petting his head. They stood there for some minutes then Keith moved his paw and the hole started to close.
Foxx watched as his mother disappeared under the ground. He started to sob again and buried his muzzle on Keith's chest. Keith hugged him, and then got up.
"Can I live with you?", Foxx asked, looking up at him.
Keith looked at him and smiled.
"Yes. I told your mother I would take care of you.", he explained, "Come on, I'll take you home.", he told Foxx.
"Wait...", Foxx asked. He went near one of the soldiers and grabbed the handle of a silver blue sword.
"Why do you want that sword?", Keith asked, walking towards Foxx and helping him.
"My daddy used this sword.", Foxx replied.
"Oh...", Keith said and grabbed the sword and sheathed it. Ready to home now?", he asked, picking Foxx up.
Foxx nodded, "Uh-huh."
Keith covered Foxx with his cloak. Foxx leaned his head against Keith's chest and some minutes later fell asleep. Keith looked at the sleeping kit, smiled slightly and started making his way home.
-
Another interesting chapter. Keep it up. ^.=.^
-
Amazing Foxx Again! XD
Can't Wait till Next 1! :D
-
Thanks again =^.^=
Ok, I took an awful lot of time and I had to redo the chapter because of the new character (:3). It actually helped a lot.
Here's...
Chapter Five: A New Beginning
Keith walked through the forest, holding Foxx in his arms. After a while he reached his house. He opened the door and went to a room. There was another young fox there.
"Hi, Wolf.", Keith said.
"Hi, Keith.", the fox replied, and noticed Foxx, "Who is he?", he asked as he got closer.
"I found him and his mother trying to escape the King’s soldiers.", Keith explained.
Wolf looked behind Keith, but there was no one there.
"Did they…?", he started.
Keith nodded, sad and put Foxx on the bed, covering him. Foxx cuddled and continued to sleep.
"But… what happened?", Wolf asked; he was very curious.
"Let’s go to the living room.", Keith suggested and Wolf nodded.
They sat down and Keith looked at Wolf.
"I was heading home when I heard a noise.", Keith started, "I ran as fast as I could, but I was too late…", he said, sad. Wolf looked at Keith.
"And…"
"Well… when I got there… I saw his mother covering him… pierced by a sword…", Keith revealed. Wolf’s eyes widened.
"And apparently…", Keith continued, "… his dad was killed tonight too."
"Oh…", Wolf said, looking at the room where Foxx was.
Keith took the sword that Foxx grabbed earlier and started looking at it.
"And that?", Wolf asked.
"It was his father’s sword.", Keith said, "And this isn’t a normal sword."
==========~~~~~~~~~~==========
Foxx woke up some hours later and looked around.
Wha…?, he thought as he put his paws on the pillow, it was wet… and so was his muzzle. He had been crying in his sleep.
"You’re awake.", a voice said and Foxx looked around.
Wolf sat on the bed, by his side.
"Who are you?", Foxx asked. He didn’t look much older than him.
"I’m Wolfgang. You can call me Wolf. And you?", Wolf said, smiling.
"I’m… I’m Foxx.", Foxx replied.
Keith was passing by, he heard them talking and stopped, looking at them.
"Ok, Foxx.", Wolf said, and looked at him, "Um… How old are you?", he asked, leaning towards him.
Foxx looked at Wolf, tilting his head to one side a bit.
"I’m… five… why?.", he answered.
Wolf giggled.
"But… why do you want to know that?", Foxx asked, rubbing his muzzle.
"You didn’t look older than me.", Wolf explained with a grin.
Keith grinned.
You’re not that older…, he thought.
"You don’t look much older than me…", Foxx said, looking at Wolf.
"Well, I’m not. I’m six.", Wolf revealed, smiling.
Foxx smiled. It was his first smile in a while.
Keith walked into the room.
"You boys getting along well?", he asked.
"Yeah.", Wolf said, turning to Keith.
"Good.", Keith replied, "Anyone hungry?"
"Me!", Wolf said.
Foxx giggled.
"Let’s go then.", Keith said, smiling. Foxx and Wolf followed Keith, talking happily.

Thanks guys =^.^=
Just finished...
Chapter Six: A Slight Suspicion
Ten years passed. Foxx was now 15 years old and Wolf was 16. Foxx let his hair grow, it was past the middle of his back and his tail was bigger than normal. The parts of his body that had white fur, which were a bit orange when he was younger, were now of a pure white and he was always happy. Wolf let his hair grow a bit too; he had some of it covering one eye and his fur color got brighter with the years.
Keith had trained them and their bodies were a bit toned and they were more agile than most foxes.
Foxx used his father’s sword. Its color was of a silver blue, the blade was 30 inches long and 2 inches wide.
Wolf used a scimitar. It had a gold handle and the blade was silver, almost 2 feet long, 20 inches wide and the tip of it ended in a small hook.
The two foxes and Keith were returning home, after another day of training.
“Wolf, seriously, I don’t know how you manage that…â€, Foxx said, looking at Wolf’s weapon.
“You get used to it after a while.â€, Wolf replied, smiling, “I just don’t understand how you can defend yourself so well with such a tiny sword.â€, he continued.
Keith chuckled.
“What’s so funny?â€, Foxx and Wolf asked at the same time.
“Nothing, nothing…â€, he said, looking around and smiling.
“Yeah, right…â€, they replied at the same time.
They walked for some minutes through the forest, listening to the birds and the wind moving the tree leaves.
“Hey, Foxx.â€, Wolf said, suddenly.
“Yeah?â€, Foxx asked, looking at him.
“You wanna train before diner?â€, he asked, smiling.
“Sure. Maybe I’ll beat you.â€, Foxx teased.
“Yeah, right, maybe I’ll beat you.â€, Wolf teased back.
“Or maybe you’ll end up tied, as always.â€, Keith said, smiling.
“No way! I’m gonna beat him!â€, Foxx and Wolf declared at the same time.
“You’re going down and you know that, Wolfy.â€, Foxx teased.
“Dream on, Foxxy.â€, Wolf said, grinning.
They kept walking home, teasing each other. When they reached their house Keith turned to them.
“Ok, you guys train here, I’ll be inside. I’ll call you guys before I start making the diner so you can take a shower.â€, he told them.
Foxx and Wolf nodded and ran to a place near the house and prepared for the fight.
“Ready?â€, Wolf asked.
“Come on.â€, Foxx replied.
They looked at each other for some seconds, then ran towards each other, their swords clashed, some sparkles flying from them.
Foxx and Wolf looked into each others eyes, their swords rubbing on each other as they pushed against each other.
“You’re going down, Wolf.â€, Foxx said.
“Don’t get your hopes so high.â€, Wolf replied.
They backed away with a quick movement then started delivering blows to each other. Keith watched from a window.
“Hmm… I wonder if they…â€, he said to himself. After about twenty minutes, he called them.
Foxx and Wolf were panting, their swords pointing down.
“I’ll… beat you… someday…â€, Wolf panted.
“Only… after I… beat you…â€, Foxx replied, panting.
“Hahaha… very funny…â€, Wolf said, smiling and started walking home with Foxx.

Nice chapter Foxx. The lighter mood in this chapter is really nice after all the seriousness of the earlier chapters. Well done. ^.=.^
-
AWESOME as usual Foxx, Hehe I like the way the story flows VERY NICE JOB!
Keep up the Good Work~!
-
Again Thanks, I really appreciate it =^.^=
Now...
Chapter Seven: A Strange Dream
Foxx and Wolf kept training for two more weeks. Keith was now teaching them how to use their powers. Wolf controlled Fire and Thunder elements extremely well while Foxx excelled in the use of the Water element and cured almost every type of wound.
The two foxes were having a battle and still couldn’t defeat each other. Wolf cornered Foxx, his sword surrounded by small flames. Foxx's sword had water flowing around it.
"Good, Wolf, keep that up and you'll beat Foxx.", Keith said, smiling. He knew that Foxx would get teased by that and would do everything he could to defeat Wolf.
"WHY did you have to talk!?", Wolf yelled to Keith, deflecting Foxx's blows.
Foxx swung his sword as hard as he could against Wolf’s, trying to knock it off his paw.
"You wish!", Wolf said with a grin on his face. He turned around, swinging his sword against Foxx's. As soon as their swords touched each other, there was an explosion. Keith looked at them as they were surrounded by steam, getting up and running to where they were.
"Boys, are you ok?", he asked worried. Some seconds later the steam started to disappear. Keith's jaw fell open in surprise. Foxx was lying on the floor, his sword by his side.
Wolf's eyes opened wide when he saw Foxx.
"Foxx!", he called, letting his sword go and kneeling by Foxx's side, "Wake up!", he then looked at Keith, "I… didn't mean to…", he said.
Keith rushed near them and looked for some seconds at Foxx then let out a sigh of relief.
"He's just unconscious. He'll be ok.", he declared with a small smile, "Come on, help me take him to his bed."
Wolf nodded. He picked up his sword and put it on his back, like always. He then picked up Foxx's sword and placed it by his sword's side and helped Keith.
They got to Wolf and Foxx's room and lay Foxx on his bed. Wolf looked at Foxx worriedly, putting the swords down.
"He's going to be ok.", Keith said in a calming voice.
"But still…", he said.
"Come on, I'll get you something to eat.", Keith said, trying to cheer Wolf.
"Ok.", Wolf said, smiling a little and following Keith.
==========~~~~~~~~~~==========
Foxx was having a strange dream. He was in the middle of a battle, not fighting, just watching it, not believing his eyes.
"An Angel… and a Demon…", he said. He couldn't see their faces. Suddenly, everything started dissolving and Foxx found himself lying on his bed.
-
Very interesting Foxx. :D Can't wait to read what happens next.
-
Very Mysterious Foxx!
Loved It! As Usual :D
-
*giggles* I'm glad you like it.
Now, let's see...
Chapter Eight: Trouble Arises
Foxx got up and slowly waked to the room. Wolf was almost asleep and Keith was reading.
"Hey…", Foxx said, smiling a bit and looking at them.
"Foxx.", Keith replied, looking at him.
Wolf turned to Foxx.
"Foxx? Are you ok?", he asked, slightly nervous.
Foxx snickered and smiled.
"I’m ok.", he reassured.
"But you did get hit hard.", Keith commented, looking at Foxx.
"I’m ok. At least, I feel that way.", Foxx said again, "But…"
"But what?", Wolf asked, looking at him.
"I… had a strange dream.", Foxx explained.
"Really…?", Keith said, looking at Foxx with curiosity.
Foxx nodded.
"Yeah. I saw a Demon and an Angel. Fighting ", he told them.
Wolf smiled.
"It was just a dream.", he said, giggling.
Foxx blushed slightly.
"But... it looked so real…", he defended himself.
"It looked real, silly.", Wolf said, petting Foxx, "Angels and demons don’t exist.", he continued, giggling.
"Actually…", Keith said slowly.
"What?", Wolf and Foxx said, looking at him.
A small smile spread across Keith’s muzzle.
"Angels and Demons do exist. They are very rare and most of them don’t know they are demons or angels. They look like normal furs, like you or me.", he explained.
Foxx smiled and turned to Wolf.
"Seeee?", he asked, grinning at Wolf.
Wolf looked at the window.
"Yeah, well… you got lucky…", he replied.
Foxx and Keith started laughing.
Suddenly they heard a loud explosion, not far away.
"I’ll go check.", Keith said immediately, turning to Foxx, "You stay here, you have to rest.", he then turned to Wolf, "You stay here too. If something happens, you can help Foxx.", he explained.
"And what about you?", Foxx asked.
"I’ll be ok.", he reassured then he ran out of the house before Foxx or Wolf could say or do anything.
"I hope he doesn’t get hurt.", Foxx said in a low voice as they heard another explosion.
Wolf nodded.
Half an hour passed… one hour… an hour and a half…
"Wolf, I’m worried…", Foxx said, looking through the window.
"Yeah, me too.", Wolf replied, by Foxx’s side.
-
And that's called teasing the reader for all of what it's worth. Seriously, leaving it like that should be made criminal or something. It's just evil. :P
Good chapter. ^.=.^
-
OMG What Happened to Keith!!
I Am amazed once again Foxx :D
-
Nyaa =3
Finally I got the time and inspiration to finish this chapter. Thanks for the comments guyz :3
Now, let's see...
Chapter Nine: A New Battle Starts
Keith ran through the forest. He knew that forest like no one. Some minutes later he heard another explosion, louder this time.
I’m getting close. he thought, getting his black sword. He ran for a bit longer, then reached an open space and looked around. He saw a young white and blue wolf fighting against three of the king’s soldiers. The wolf looked at Keith, defending himself from the soldier’s attacks.
"H-help me!" he shouted.
Keith ran to one of the soldiers as a fireball appeared in his paw. The soldier turned to him, but before he could do something, Keith hit him in the stomach with the ball.
"Guh…!" the soldier did, falling.
"Let him go…" Keith ordered, turning to the other two soldiers.
The soldiers turned to Keith.
"You also have powers?" one of them asked "Maybe we should take you to the king too." he continued, grinning.
"You won’t see that happening." Keith continued "Now let him go."
The white wolf looked at Keith, panting slightly.
"Well, you can choose…" the soldier started "You come peacefully and both live… or you both get injured." he explained.
"Or you could let me and that wolf go and pretend nothing happened. That way everyone’s happy." Keith tried.
"Um… no… I don’t think that will happen." he finally said "You’ll both come with us." he continued, pointing his sword at Keith.
Keith sighed and quickly moved his paw from the right side to the left. The soldiers were thrown away by a strong wind. Keith ran towards the wolf and grabbed his arm, not stopping. The wolf was almost dragged behind him.
"Come on. I don’t want to kill them unless it’s necessary" he said "We have to hurry. We’ll lose them in the forest." he continued.
"O-ok." the young wolf replied, running by Keith’s side.
The soldiers slowly got up.
"Heh… we’ll get you…", one of them said, looking at something in his paw.
A while later they stopped. Keith sat, leaning against a tree, panting. The wolf sat too, looking at Keith.
"Thank… you…" he said, panting.
"It’s ok…" Keith replied "Oh, by the way, I’m Keith."
"I’m Comet. Nice to meet you, Keith."
"Nice to meet you too, Comet." Keith said, getting up "Follow me; they don’t know where I live." He continued, and waited for Comet. Comet also got up and followed Keith.
"So… you also use magic?" he asked as they walked.
"Yes, I do." Keith replied "Along with two foxes I love and take care of like they were my children."
A small smile spread across Comet’s face.
"I look forward to meet them." He stated in a soft voice.
Some minutes later they could see Keith’s house.
Comet looked at the house, smiling.
"Wow, it’s really nice." He complimented.
Keith smiled.
"Thanks." He replied.
"Wolf!", Foxx called from inside the house "Keith’s back!"
Wolf came running from their room.
"What? Come on!" he said, grabbing Foxx’s arm and running outside.
Foxx ran by Wolf’s side. Comet looked at them and smiled. Wolf stopped in front of them, with Foxx panting.
"Oh, they’re a couple." Comet said, clearly thinking that Foxx was a girl.
They didn’t notice some shadows nearby.
"Jeeze, Wolf, I can run by -- what did you say?" he suddenly asked, looking at Comet "For your information, I am not a gi…" but he couldn’t finish the sentence.
"NOW!" a voice said. About sixty soldiers jumped from between the trees, making a circle around the foxes and the wolves.
Keith looked around.
"How did you found us?" he asked, completely surprised.
A soldier from before gave some steps forward, grinning.
"That blue wolf even came in handy…", he spoke in a low voice, loud enough for everyone to hear. He showed them a small, flat stone that shined brightly in a soft blue color. Keith looked at the stone.
"That’s…!" then he looked at Comet for some seconds, "Damn! I knew it" he said some seconds later, taking what looked like a blue ladybug from Comet’s back.
"W-what’s that?" Comet asked.
"Some way the King invented to keep track on someone." Keith replied "How could I fall for this…?"
The soldier grinned.
"So… will you come peacefully? Or we have to fight?" he asked in a soft but dangerous voice.
Keith, Comet, Foxx and Wolf were in the middle of the circle. Wolf growled softly.
"They’re too much. It’ll be 15 soldiers to each one of us… this will get ugly…", he told the other three.
"We won’t go with out a fight." Foxx said, grabbing his sword. At the same time, every soldier took his own sword. Foxx gulped.
"Yeah." Wolf supported, getting his own sword. Keith did the same and Comet revealed his 36 inch long and half a foot wide silver sword. The sword had a soft blue glow around it.
"Ready?" Keith asked.
"As I’ll ever be." Foxx replied.
"Yep." Comet said.
Wolf just nodded. A little smile appeared on Keith face.
"Then let’s GO!", he yelled, and the four of them started running against the soldiers.
Hope you like it, it took an awful lot of time to get this done, I wasn't sure on how I should write this xP

Very interesting turn of events. ^.=.^
And I see that you're adding at least some of your friends here on the forum into the story as well, nice. :)
-
OMG!!!!!!!!!!! HEHE!!! FOXX!!
I LOVE IT!!!!! :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
I can't wait to see what happens

Very interesting turn of events. ^.=.^
And I see that you're adding at least some of your friends here on the forum into the story as well, nice. :)
I am. xP
Hopefully, I have everyone I need. I have a... 'rough sketch'... of the story =^.^=
-
That's good. It's always good to have some idea what's going to happen next when you're writing, so that you then can think things through before actually writing it down when you've got it all figured out.
-
Hehe, if you paid attention to the story, you probably noticed a really small spoiler =3
But it was on purpose =^.^=

Yeah, I think I noticed. :P I'll leave it to the others to find out it too, though it might have been a bit obvious. Who knows?

WOOHOO! Chapter Ten.
5615 words, 641 lines, 391 paragraphs on 13 word pages. Hehe, anyway, since I wasn't on during the weekend (Dang Internet -_-'), I finished this here chapter earlier then I thought, and I must say: even I am surprised with the stuff that happened.
Enough blabing, let's see...
Chapter Ten: A Trap! A Friend Is Lost!
The four furs ran towards the soldiers, and soon the sound of steel hitting steel filled the air, scaring birds away. Foxx fought against two soldiers, taking them down almost at the same time. Wolf ran through the soldiers, hitting their legs as he ran, making them fall. Comet fought with fluid movements, dodging the soldier’s attacks and counter-attacking. Keith grinned as he fought the soldiers, using some magic now and then.
Some minutes later, Foxx was surrounded by soldiers. He looked around.
"Wolf!" Foxx shouted, lifting his left paw "Rain, I summon thee!"
When he finished talking, it started to rain heavily, but only over all the nearby soldiers. Foxx, Wolf, Keith and Comet were dry.
"What do you want to do? Drown us?" one of the soldiers mocked. Foxx grinned and looked at Wolf, nodding "Careful, Comet." he warned.
Wolf looked at Foxx and smiled, lifting his left paw.
"Thunder, come forth!" he shouted, pointing at the wet ground under the soldiers, and a giant thunderbolt hit that place. Keith kept the remaining soldiers away, so they couldn’t hurt Foxx or Wolf. Comet put his paw over his eyes, because of the lighting, and watched as the soldiers screamed in pain while the electricity ran through the water on the ground and their wet bodies, making them fall unconscious. Comet looked at Foxx and Wolf as they lowered their paws, the rain subsiding.
"Wow… you guys…" he started, amazed, and looked at the soldiers "Are they…?"
Wolf shook his head.
"No, they’re just unconscious." He told Comet "We still have some left." He continued, looking at the soldiers that Keith was keeping away.
Foxx walked over to Wolf and Comet.
"Thanks for the help, Wolf." He said, smiling.
Wolf smiled back, getting his sword ready. "It’s ok." Then he ran towards Keith to help him.
Foxx looked as Wolf started fighting again and turned to Comet.
"Coming?" he asked.
"I don’t think we should leave them like this…" Comet commented, looking at the unconscious soldiers and lifting his left paw "Mother Nature, I ask for your aid." He said. Foxx watched in wonder as vines started to grow, wrapping themselves around the soldiers so they couldn’t escape. Comet looked at his work and smirked. "That should keep them in their place."
"Wow…" was the only thing Foxx could say. He shook his head slightly and looked back. "Come on, we have to help them." He said, and started to run towards the soldiers. Comet followed him.
Keith and Wolf were taking soldiers down, not killing them. Foxx and Comet ran through the soldiers, cutting their legs with their swords. They stopped and looked around. There were only some soldiers left, behind the tiger that held the blue stone tightly in his paw, his face showing no emotion.
Keith and Wolf joined Foxx and Comet. Keith looked at the tiger.
"You tried to capture me and Comet… you weren’t able too… now you try to capture my family too… what makes you think that you will succeed?" he asked.
The tiger grinned.
"The king doesn’t want you all…" he replied softly, looking at the stone in his paw "He wants the younger one." With that he looked directly into Foxx’s eyes. Foxx looked into his light blue eyes, not able to look away, feeling something weird trying to take over him.
"What?" Keith said, surprised.
You’re coming with us… Foxx heard inside his head.
"Who said that?" he asked, looking around.
The king can help you defeat the fox that is standing by your side… you know you want to defeat him… the voice continued.
"How do you know that?" Foxx asked again, falling to his knees and wrapping his arms around him. It was true. He did feel slightly angry that Wolf defeated him, but it was only in the beginning… right?
"Foxx! What’s wrong?" he heard Wolf ask.
If you go to the king… you’ll get the power you need… the voice said softly.
"Shut up!" Foxx shouted, taking his paws to his head "I don’t care if…!"
Yes you do… why are you fooling yourself…?
Comet and Keith got on their knees.
"Foxx, what’s wrong?" Keith asked.
"Please… make the voice stop…!" Foxx begged, still looking into the tiger’s eyes, his own eyes filling with tears. He felt so divided… the weird feeling was getting stronger, trying to make him go to the king.
"What voice?" Comet asked.
You don’t want me to stop… you want to come with us… to the king… so you can defeat him…
"F-Foxx?" Wolf called cautiously, kneeling in front of him. Foxx stared deep into Wolf’s eyes, his own eyes changing to a darker tone, the brown in them looking almost black and their green almost disappearing. He lifted his left paw a bit, not breaking the eye contact.
"Wind… I summon thee…" he said in a monotone voice as he moved his paw in a fluent motion, from his right side to the left. A strong wind knocked Wolf, Comet and Keith away, and Foxx got up and walked towards the tiger.
That’s it… come with us…
"Foxx… why are you…?" Keith asked. He got no answer as Foxx stopped by the tiger’s side and turned around to face them.
Wolf growled and got up, his sword ready. He started to run towards the tiger.
"What did you do to him?" he asked, swinging his sword at the tiger. The tiger grinned and didn’t move. When Wolf was about to hit him, Foxx got in front of him, stopping Wolf’s sword and looking directly at him. He made a sudden movement and Wolf was thrown back. As soon as Wolf hit the ground, Foxx pointed his sword at his throat, looking at him with a cold expression.
"Why…?" Wolf asked.
Comet and Keith were watching, speechless.
"Come. You don’t want to do that now, do you?" the tiger asked, placing his paw on Foxx’s shoulder. Foxx looked up at him and nodded.
"You’re right." Foxx replied in his monotone voice and turned his back to Wolf, following the tiger.
"Foxx…!" Wolf said, grabbing Foxx’s paw. Foxx stopped and turned his head slightly, looking coldly at Wolf. Wolf released Foxx’s paw and Foxx started walking behind the tiger. Keith slowly approached Wolf and put a paw over his shoulder, looking at Foxx.
"Foxx, why are you doing this?" he asked. Foxx kept walking.
"One day…" he said, following the tiger. The remaining soldiers followed them into the forest as Wolf’s eyes filled with tears.
I even think that Foxx is acting a bit like a son of a omgabadword???
-

Chapter Eleven: Regret? The Start Of A Journey!
Foxx followed the tiger through the forest. The tiger looked at him, grinning.
"Glad you made this choice. Or we would have killed your friends." He said. Foxx looked at him coldly.
"If you hurt them, you will wish you were never born." He replied in a low voice, looking at the tiger by the corner of his eye. The tiger gulped slightly and continued walking.
"How far is the king’s castle, anyway?" Foxx asked.
"If we sleep tonight, we will get there tomorrow by sunset." The tiger replied. Foxx nodded once. You cocky little jerk. The tiger thought to himself.

Wolf slowly got up and walked into the house, his head facing the floor. Keith gave a step towards him but Comet put a paw over his shoulder and shook his head slightly, a sad look in his face.
"But…" Keith said as Wolf got inside the house.
"You’ll make him feel worse." Comet explained.
"Ok…" Keith murmured, looking at Wolf as he entered the house.
Wolf walked to his room and lay on the bed, crying softly. Why did Foxx suddenly turn his back to them? Foxx’s eyes suddenly appeared in front of Wolf. They looked so… different… so…. cold… And the way he looked at him…
"Why, Foxx…?" Wolf asked, burying his face in the pillow, tears running down his muzzle. Soon he fell asleep. His dreams were filled with memories of him, Foxx and Keith.
Keith slowly walked into the room and looked at Wolf for some moments. He covered him and left the room, closing the door. Before the door completely closed, he glanced at Foxx’s bed.
Why? He thought and turned around. Comet was in the living room, lying on the couch, sleeping.
He must’ve had a tough time. Keith thought. He went to his room to get a warm blanket and covered Comet with. He walked back to his room and lay on his bed, looking at the dark night sky and thinking about what happened.
==========~~~~~~~~~~==========
Foxx was lying on the soft grass, looking at the sky as the soldiers slept. He felt the tiger looking at him. Some hours later, the tiger fell asleep.
Finally… Foxx thought. He got up and walked through the forest he was about to leave. He walked to a small cliff with a single, big oak tree and sat on one of its branches, looking at the horizon. He looked around and saw a little bird in his nest. A small smile appeared on Foxx’s muzzle and he put his finger near the bird. The bird hopped on his finger and Foxx started petting him softly.
"I wonder if I’m doing the right thing…" Foxx said. The bird tilted his head to one side.
"Chip?"
Foxx petted the bird for a while, thinking about his parents, and what happened after they died. He let out a small sigh and put the bird in his nest again. At the same time, the sun started to rise. Foxx watched as the sun spread its light through the smaller forest bellow and murred softly at the warmth it gave him, his eyes closed. After a while, the young fox hopped off the branch and landed with a soft thump. He admired the sunrise one last time and walked back to the place where the tiger and the soldiers were.
He walked from behind a tree and looked at the tiger.
"Where were you?" he asked.
"None of your business." Foxx replied "Come on now, let’s keep going, I don’t want to spend another night outside."
"You afraid?" the tiger asked with a grin. Foxx turned around quickly and slammed the tiger against a nearby tree, grabbing him by his neck.
"You don’t like me. And I don’t like you. So if you say that again, you’ll lose your head. Literally." He threatened, growling. The tiger gasped and tried to talk. Foxx let the tiger go and turned to the soldiers "Let’s go." He ordered and started walking.
==========~~~~~~~~~~==========
Wolfgang groaned as the morning sun hit his face. He opened his eyes and looked at his side.
"Morning, F… oh… yeah…" he mumbled. He lay in his bed for a while, thinking. He got up and walked out of his room. He saw Comet sleeping on the couch and Keith was already in the kitchen.
"Morning, Keith." Wolf said, leaning against the kitchen door.
"Hello, Wolf." Keith replied, and looked at the fox "Uh… are you ok?" he asked.
"Yeah." Wolf said and heard some noises in the living room. Wolf looked at Comet and smiled slightly "Morning." He said.
"Morning, Comet." Keith echoed, looking at Comet.
Comet looked at them, trying to keep a yawn in.
"Morning…" he replied, rubbing his eyes.
He got up and walked towards Wolf, extending his paw.
"We didn’t introduce ourselves well yesterday. I’m Comet." he told him, a slight smile on his muzzle. Wolf shook his paw and smiled.
"I’m Wolfgang. You can call me Wolf." He replied then he sat at the table.
"So… that fox was… your brother?" Comet asked, sitting too.
Wolf looked at Comet.
"Well, kind off. Keith saved me when I was still a kit and some time later, he saved Foxx." He explained.
"Oh…" Comet said.
"And now… I really want to get him back…" Wolf continued.
Keith laid a plate with food in front of Wolf and Comet then sat with his own plate.
"I knew you might want to do that." He told them "So I got some stuff ready. We just need some more things and we’re ready to go look for Foxx. It may take a while, though. A lot of people don’t know where the king’s castle is… including me." He continued as he ate, looking at Comet "Unless you know…?"
Comet smiled sadly and shook his head.
"Sorry… I don’t know." He said in a low voice.
"Oh… well, it’ll take longer, but we’ll definitely get Foxx back." He assured with a smile. Wolf nodded, smiling slightly. They finished their breakfast some time later.
"Come on; go get all the things you need." Keith said, looking at Wolf. Wolf nodded and went to his room.
Some time later the three furs were ready, wearing long cloaks with hoods.
"Ok, let’s go. We may catch them, they probably stopped for the night and they must be walking. If we run, we may catch them." Keith explained. Comet and Wolf nodded. They covered their heads with the hoods and ran into the forest.
"Foxx… I promise I’ll get you back… no matter what." Wolf thought as they rushed through the trees.

And I finished Chapter 12 W00T. I was in a roll (And bored xD)
Let's see what happens on...
Chapter Twelve: The Mysterious Lake Of Eternal Mist!
Foxx followed the tiger through a small dirt path. He looked in the horizon. The sun was almost setting. Foxx grinned slightly, his eyes back to their normal colors.
We’re almost there… he thought. He was still unsure that he made the right choice, but every time he remembered Wolf, his doubts disappeared.
==========~~~~~~~~~~==========
Wolf, Keith and Comet looked around as they got out of the forest.
"What now?" Wolf’s voice was heard from under his hood "There are two ways they could’ve gone."
"Relax. I know what to do." Keith declared and, with that, he lifted his paw, the palm facing the blue sky "Guide me." He said "Tell me what way Foxx took." He continued. A small arrow made of a soft yellow aura appeared on the palm of his paw, pointing at the path on their left "He went that way." Keith stated.
"Let’s go then?" Comet asked. Wolf and Keith nodded and they restarted running.
Some time later, they found a young, two tailed kitsune. The kitsune looked at them and hesitated at the sight of the three hooded furs.
"I’m sorry, but have you seen a young fox with bright orange and white fur passing by, along with some soldiers that serve the king?" Keith asked.
The kitsune looked at them, clearly relieved.
"Yes, I did." He told "They walked by me about thirty minutes ago." He informed.
Keith nodded slightly.
"Thank you. And I apologize for the inconvenience." He said, then turned to Wolf and Comet "Ok, let’s go."
The kitsune nodded.
"It’s ok. Just, be careful… that tiger looked dangerous…"
"Yes, we know. Thank you again for your help." Keith said. He started walking away with Comet and Wolf behind him.
Good luck. The kitsune thought, walking in the opposite direction.
==========~~~~~~~~~~==========
Foxx and the soldiers reached a small lake, barely visible because of the thick mist.
"Where… are we…?" he asked, looking around. The sun was barely visible now.
"We’re almost there. Just a little more." The tiger replied. Somehow, he could find his way through the thick mist, something that surprised Foxx. The fox simply followed him. He had a slight feeling that something would happen before they made it to the castle, but he shrugged that thought away.
==========~~~~~~~~~~==========
Wolfgang, Comet and Keith arrived at the lake some time later, panting slightly. Comet uncovered his head and looked at the mist.
"Wow… this mist is… so thick…" he stated, trying to recognize something further away into the mist.
Keith lowered his hood too.
"Yes… this lake is known as the Lake of Eternal Mist… It didn’t use to be like this though." He spoke.
"What do you mean?" Wolf asked as he, too, took his hood.
"This lake didn’t have this mist around it. It happened some years ago and it took only one night to become like this. And a lot of furs already tried to explore it, but they didn’t return. They fall in the lake and drown or are killed by wild animals… or worse…" he finished. Wolf gulped and looked at the thick mist.
"Well, we have to go anyway." He said "I won’t give up on him that easily!"
Keith chuckled.
"I know, I won’t give up on him either." He assured, looking then at Comet "Will you help us?" he asked.
Comet nodded.
"Sure. You helped me, after all."
"Ok, then let’s go." Wolf said, and the three furs walked into the mist.
==========~~~~~~~~~~==========
Foxx stopped suddenly after a while. The tiger turned to him.
"What?" he asked.
Foxx looked around.
"How did they get here so fast…?" he asked himself, his eyes getting darker.
"What? Who got here?" the tiger asked.
Foxx put a finger in front of his lips and motioned the soldiers to come close.
"How far are we?" he asked, looking at the tiger.
"Uh… five or so minutes." The tiger replied, confused "But who…?"
"Ok, then, let’s do something. You guys know how to get to the castle?" he asked, looking around at the soldiers. The soldiers nodded "Ok, then go. You and me will stall them, then we can run to the castle." He continued, facing again the tiger "Now go!" he ordered. The soldiers nodded and walked quickly through the mist. The tiger looked at Foxx.
"So… what are we going to do?" he asked.
"We’re going to set a trap. Then we can go to the castle." He started.
==========~~~~~~~~~~==========
"Uhh… Keith… You do know where you’re going, right?" Wolf asked.
"Well, no… But that we are going where Foxx is, that is certain." Keith replied, looking at the palm of his paw, where the yellow aura arrow was.
Wolf looked at Comet and sighed. Sometime later, they reached a small area with water.
Foxx grinned slightly from behind a small bush. He waited a bit and closed his paw, muttering some words. The water started to rise and suddenly Wolf, Keith and Comet found themselves trapped in a ball of water unable to breathe. Foxx slowly showed himself and grinned, followed by the tiger.
"So… you thought you could follow us without noticing…"
Wolf looked at Foxx and tried to move. Foxx chuckled and got closer to the water prison.
"It’s no use Wolfy… you won’t get out of there unless I want to. And you better not waste your breath." He advised, then looked at the tiger "Ok, they won’t be going anywhere, let’s hurry." He ordered.
"Ok." The tiger replied, grinning "This way." He said and started running the way the soldiers had gone. Foxx quickly followed him.
Wolf, Keith and Comet watched as they ran again into the mist. Some time later they started running out of air. They tried everything to get out, but it was useless. Their eyesight started blurring and, some seconds later, the three of them fainted.
==========~~~~~~~~~~==========
"We’re here." The tiger announced. Foxx looked around.
"We are?" he asked, then he noticed a large and tall shadow in the mist "Wow…" was the only thing he could say. Then he remembered. He made a fluid movement with his paw and grinned slightly "Now they’re free. And alive." He explained. The tiger understood and nodded.
"Ok, then, let’s go, the king is waiting." He said and walked towards the shadow. Foxx followed him. Some minutes later, the shadow slowly disappeared, along with the mist, leaving a big mark on the ground.
Ohhhh, Hope you guys like it xP
