I baught this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sB00iMj-IJc) a couple of moths ago, and I still havn't built it. I'm wondering if I'll even get to building the Star Destroyer. I'll try to get my room clearded out, so I don't have to build it in the living room where my 3 year old niece will eat the pieces, and my 7 year old nephew will steal them.

Even those of us in the military have the Spirit... just shown in different manners.

Quote from: Christmas Orders
Please Read:

To: All Retired Military Personnel

Subject: Official Command Visit

This office has been informed of an official visit by Gen. Santa Claus to this base on 25 December. The following directives will govern activities of personnel during this visit:

1. No creatures will stir without official permission. This will include all native mice. Special stirring permits will be obtained through the orderly room.
2. Personnel will settle their brains for a long winters nap prior to 2200 hours. Uniform for nap: pajamas, cotton, light drowsing, with kerchief, general purpose.
3. Personnel will utilize standard ration sugar plums to dance through their heads. This item may be picked up in the orderly room.
4. Stockings, wool, cushion sole, will be hung by chimneys with care. Necessary safety precautions will be taken to avoid fires. Individual sections will submit stocking-hanging plans to Capt. Kringle by 0800 hours, 22 December.
5. At first sign of clatter from lawn, all personnel will spring from their beds to investigate and evaluate cause. Immediate action will be taken to tear open shutters and throw open window sashes.
6. Volunteers are needed to drive one sleigh, miniature, and eight (8) deer, rein, tiny, for use of Gen. Claus. Driver must have current rooftop license.
7. Gen. Claus will enter all sections through chimneys. Sections without chimneys will draw a Chimney Simulator from Link Services for use during ceremonies. Requests must be submitted in triplicate prior to 20 December.
8. All personnel will be rehearsed in shouting "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night." This shout will given upon the termination of Gen. Claus' visit. Uniformity of shouting is the responsibility of all section chiefs.

Signed, Ebenezer Scrooge, Colonel, USAF, Commander.

Quote from: Military Night before Christmas (humorous)
Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the skies,
Air defences were up, with electronic eyes. Combat pilots were nestled in ready-room beds,
As enemy silhouettes danced in their heads.

Every jet on the apron, each SAM in its tube,
Was triply-redundant, linked to the Blue Cube,
And ELINT and AWACS gave coverage so dense
That nothing that flew could slip through our defence.

When out of the klaxon arose such a clatter
I dashed to the screen to see what was the matter;
I increased the gain and then, quick as a flash,
Fine-adjusted the filters to damp out the hash.

And there found the source of the warning we’d heeded:
An incoming blip, by eight escorts preceded.
“Alert status red!” went the word down the wire,
As we gave every system the codes that meant “FIRE!”

On Aegis! Up Patriot, Phalanx and Hawk!
And scramble our fighters--let’s send the whole flock!
Launch decoys and missiles! Use chaff by the yard!
Get the kitchen sink up! Call the National Guard!

They turned toward the target, moved toward it, converged.
Till the tracks on the radar all finally merged,
And the sky was lit up with a demonic light,
As the foe met his fate in the high arctic night.

So we sent out some recon to look for debris,
Yet all that they found, both on land and on sea
Were some toys, a red hat, a charred left leather boot,
Broken sleigh bells, white hair, and a deer’s parachute.

Now it isn’t quite Christmas, with Saint Nick shot down.
There are unhappy kids in each village and town.
For the Spirit of Christmas can’t hope to evade
All the web of defences we’ve carefully made.

But a crash program’s on: Working hard, night and day,
All the elves are constructing a radar-proof sleigh.
So let’s wait for next Christmas, in cheer and in health,
For the future has hope: Santa’s coming by stealth!

And I do believe there are more out there.

My third SanDisk Sansa. They've always been reliable for me, except when they die, they die and fall hard. But I still like them.

This is the Fuze model. I used to have a pink one, but it doesn't wanna connect to the computer anymore so I got this one I guess.

My sister decided she wanted to open presents on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas, so I got my gifts last night. I got some snacks/candy, a shirt, an ornament, and some plates/bowls/cups for me to use.

My mate got me this cute little stuffed tiger, was probably the best thing I received. Didn't get to see him for Christmas though since I'm out of town, and today wasn't all that enjoyable in general, but... oh well. Wasn't that bad.
