You are a pretty skilled artist, I'm envious of your ability.

You must have been doing art for quite some time because they are all very professional

Thank you! But ... To be honest I'm drawing animals and furry stuff only for a bit more than a year. And before that I was only scribbling and such because I got no possibility to color my drawings. And those scribbles were _really_ bad. If there's anyone interested in it I can upload an image from summer 2007. :)
And because I'm earning money with my works I need to be at least a little bit professional.
But thank you very much, I'm really glad that you like my pictures.
By the way I drew a new picture.
I originally planned to simply practice how to draw lynxes because Furball (who got the Kiribian on DeviantArt) wanted his ACEO illustrated with a lynx.
But somehow I thought it would be a pity if this image would remain as some crappy sketch. So I decided to add a background to it.
I'm quite satisfied with the outcome but I'm very frustrated about the bad scan as well. The white fur is nearly not visible and the background looks somehow corny on the scan (on the original image it looks smooth). :<
Regarding the size of this picture (11,5x16cm, about 4,5"x6,3") it took me quite long to finish it.
Aaaand a big thank you to Tekumseh :icontekumseh: for letting me use his great photos as references!
(Media: mechanical pencil (0,5 mm, B) and a pure graphite pencil (9B) on some crappy, cheap print paper)

Thank you very much but in this one year I did hardly anything else than drawing in my free time. So this means a big part of it simply is a lot of practice. ;) But still: Thanks a lot for your kind words, sounds like music in my ears.

Heh, I found an old drawing of mine in my DeviantArt gallery, here you go about 1,5 years ago:
http://panhesekielshiroi.deviantart.com/art/Eisfuchs-Avatar-66556092
Bleh, and back then that was the best I was able to draw. o.O But it even was colored! Plus it's my very first real furry picture. After that I didn't have any time to draw and started sometime in September or October again ...

rock vulpine: Thank you!

Doku: Well, thanks, even though "bowing to the master" might be a little bit exaggerated ...  :">

Trowa Titan: What's not fair? o.o But thank you, I'll keep on working.

Livor Mortem: Thank yo. I don't know your artwork but if it has the same quality as your signature then you are _really_ good. As WingedZephyr said: You're far too modest.

Miyadi: Thank you very much! Well, number 7 (Somewhere only we know) is one of my favorite images as well. It's only a monochrome image on a A4 (about 8,3"x11,7") paper but I put a lot of my feelings into this work. Maybe that's why you like it?

Thank you! I always try to do my best. :)

And here's the tribal art rat for the wonderful Balorkin.
He bought the blue tribal art cat together with this one, I hope he'll like it.
The colors are much brighter in real life but I hope you like it anyways. :)

wolfgang the rock vulpine: Thanks a lot! Sadly I don't know any of your drawings so I can't say if you're right or wrong. o.o

WingedZephyr: Thank you!

~Weakest Link: Livor Mortem~: Hm, well, regarding your age your works are already not too bad. It might take some time to refine your works but I'm sure you'll make it. Just keep it up! :)

Miyadi: Thanks!

Heya, it's time for some new artwork!
I drew these 3 pictures at Cheetah's place to kill some time.
The fennec was, literally spoken, a pain in the ... behind. Because I sat on the floor the whole time ... so my behind is still hurting but the picture is finished. :)

Very nice I like the fennec's eyes, very crisp and piercing. The color of paper would be ideal for a western style "Wanted" poster picture

I also like the two little guys

I love the red one.
Title: Re: Furry fantasies of an angel [WIP&FIN]

Miyadi: Thank you. Actually ... it's a fox. ^^; Maybe I should also draw a wolf in this style ...

Tezztor Ne'taku: Thank you very much! :) And thanks a lot for the great idea of a "Wanted" poster picture, may I use it for one of my next works, please?

~Weakest Link: Livor Mortem~: Thank you!

Well, one question to all of you: I'm planning to do more ACEOs like these so I wanted to ask you which color you'd like to see then?
Title: Re: Furry fantasies of an angel [WIP&FIN]
Post by: Somebody on December 22, 2008, 09:33:06 PM
You don't need to ask my permission to do a art. But I'd be honored if you would use my idea.

As for the other things, they are pretty cool. Probably make good avis so by all means do more
Title: Re: Furry fantasies of an angel [WIP&FIN]
Post by: Dr. Strange on December 22, 2008, 09:37:02 PM
How bout a Christmas version, maybe?
Title: Re: Furry fantasies of an angel [WIP&FIN]
Post by: Pan Hesekiel Shiroi on December 23, 2008, 04:13:30 PM
Tezztor Ne'taku: I know, but I thought it would be polite to ask you for permission first. Because I don't want to use ideas of other people without permission, even if I don't need one. I don't want to be a person who is said to just take ideas of other artists for her own.

~Weakest Link: Livor Mortem~: Wah, Christmas is drawing near! X) So, which color would be suiting for a Christmas version then? And what would be suiting for Christmas? I know that a reindeer would be pretty suiting but it has no long tail that I could use for the tribal art part. :/

You could make the antlers tribal. That could turn out pretty neat.

antlers or use a wolf and put red under belly, ear tips, paws, and tail tips? Then green everywhere else...
Title: Re: Furry fantasies of an angel [WIP&FIN]
Post by: Pan Hesekiel Shiroi on January 07, 2009, 12:52:21 AM
Ah, sorry, I was absent for some time. :/
Due to the lack of time (and sleep) I wasn't able to draw the Christmas ACEO even though your ideas were really great! I guess I'll give it a try when I'm drawing some ACEOs again.
Anyways, I also produced some new artwork. I finally got some bamboo brushes and I have to admit I really like painting with them.
I painted the following images with my new bamboo brushes and some black ink and then colored them with acrylic inks:

Pet me (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1833925/)
Balancing act (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1834373/)
Sleepy time (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1836009/)
Chaoskobra (http://panhesekielshiroi.deviantart.com/art/Chaoskobra-107806480)

Oh, well, and talking about a lack of sleep ... *yawns* Today, I finished another picture, I worked on it the whole last night (Yay, I went to bed at 7 or 8 am ...) and today as well ...
A few days ago I looked through my unframed pictures and my frames to see for which pictures I already have a matching frame. One of those frames was a black and oval one. When I looked at it, I got inspired to draw this picture.
It's my first time drawing/painting a silver fox and it almost drove me crazy ... But I'm quite satisfied with the outcome now, even though there are still some mistakes in it. :/
Scanning this picture was a pain in the *** (because of the black fur), so the version you can see here is no match to the original ...
Anyways, I hope you like it.
It's for sale, even though I'm not really sure about a price yet ... just notify me if you're interested.
(Size: about 13,5x18,5cm/ 5,3"x7,3")
(Media: marker, ink pen, acrylic ink and colored pencil on bristol paper)

Sorry for the big art spam, I'm looking forward to hear/read your opinions. :)

Oh, and one more thing ... I'm thinking about selling some of my artwork on FurBuy and eventually opening an auction for a commission from me (Because I haven't been open for commissions for more than half a year but people keep requesting it ... ). I hope it is o.k. to post the links to the auctions in this forum, but I don't know where? And I don't know if it would be allowed? Help, please?

Aurore Noelle: Thank you, but actually ... it's fox, a silver fox. ;)
It has a slightly cat-like face because I made the eyes bigger than they usual are (I think it's cuter this way).
And trouble? Hehehe, maybe ...

By the way, the title of this picture is "Bewitching Blue".

phantomfalcon: I would not really call myself a kid anymore, but you're right. :)
When I was still a kid I hardly ever received any praise by my parents, no matter what I did, they didn't even really notice. ^^; So maybe that's why I'm always so happy about some feedback, no matter whether it's critique or praise.

Tezztor Ne'taku: Thank you, but I don't think I'm really modest. At least when I comes to sales I know what I can earn with my works on art shows. So please don't think too highly of me, I'm afraid I might disappoint you. :)

Aurore Noëlle: Thank you very much but there are still a lot of things I need to learn or improve ... :'D

Everyone can use improvement, that's a basic fact. Another is that your art is so detailed that it seems there's little to be made up for.

Ah ... it's been some time since my last posted picture here ... So here we go. ;)
I finished this piece already 4 days ago but because it contains mature content (in the original version she doesn't wear a top) I wasn't able to upload it here. But I made a "clean" version of it (I drew a top with TheGimp and tried to make it look like it was already drawn that way on the original piece) so that I can show you this picture as well.
Well, I'm not thaaaat happy with this picture because I made a lot of mistakes ... But I'm quite satisfied with the coloration, even though it took me far too long ...
Anyways, here's the picture (if you want to see the original version check out my galleries on DeviantArt or FurAffinity, no minors please) and I hope you like it. :)

More to come, I need to scan some new pictures.
By the way: Is anyone here interested in seeing sketches or non furry related artwork (like normal portraits, etc.)? I also made a "step by step" (not a tutorial, not enough time ...) for Bewitching Blue, is there anyone who wants to see it? :)

Woops, didn't notice the last reply, sorry!
Sadly I don't have time for art trades at the moment (even the art trade with TaniDaReal has to wait ...).
I've been quite a busy body lately ... I'm sorry, but at the moment I don't accept art trades. But please feel free to send me a personal message with a link to your gallery, so that I can consider you to be my next trade partner ... when I have some free time again ... ;)

Btw. I read in the forum rules that adult artwork is not allowed here - quite understandable since there are a lot of minors here. But what about simple nudity? Is it forbidden as well? Is it allowed to show it when the nipples are erased?
Just asking because my newest work contains a naked vixen, even though you can only see her back and a part of her breasts, I thought it would be a good thing to ask.

jad'thor: Thank you very much! If it's just the hands you can try drawing hands for about one day. Just hands. That really helps. :) As for colorations there are a lot of good tutorials on DeviantArt. Depending on the coloration style (digital, traditional, realistic, etc.), I can give you some tips as well. So if you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
Btw. do you have some of your works online? I'd love to seem them.

/\yeah ill tyy doing just hands for a while. and my main problem with coloring is that im partially color blind so its always the wrong color  (unless i have help) and ill try scanning some of my pics, although i might have to find them first (i usually put them somewhere randomlly so it might take a while to find some btter ones). also im posting the anthro version of REDXIII as my avatar somewhere later today (Australian eastern standard time). and its fully hand drawn and colored took me about an hour or so, and its still the first copy i might duplicate it and try again with better detail and computer assisted. (i used to have a really good wacom touch sensitive screen but it broke :( )

Sorry for the delay in answering your question. Thank you for taking the time to ask first. Personally, I don't think "simple" nudity would be a big problem, as long as all "adult" areas are thoroughly covered in fur and the situation/pose itself isn't too mature or sexually suggestive. If you're still unsure about it, the best thing to do would be to PM the image to me or another moderator and have it approved before posting it publicly.

jad'thor: I'm sure that being color blind makes colorations really difficult. The best thing is to write the name of the color on the colored medium (like colored pencils or acrylics) and keeping things like "grass is green, foxes are red/orange, etc." in mind. That should help at least a little bit. If you're "only" partially color blind, then I guess you have problems with red and green, right? Trying to avoid those colors might help as well (for example: I'm currently working on a picture that just contains blue, different bluish grey tones and a tad of yellow), you can make some really nice pictures with not that much colors as well.
I'm looking forward to see some of your drawings. :)
Just an hour? Wow, that is pretty quick, I guess I'm way slower ...
Sorry to hear that your Wacom broke ... I have one myself (it's a tablet PC, one of the first ones they produced where you can see your drawing on the surface you're drawing on, quite similar to the Wacom Cinteq) and I would be sad if it broke ... :<

WingedZephyr: Thank you very much for going through the trouble and answering my question! I'll send you a personal message with a link to the picture I'm talking about to approve it ... or not.
Thank you for your time! :)

lol well your pictures are very detailed (and a lot better than mine) so i would guess that they would take longer. and yes i have problems seeing green, red, brown but also have some difficulty seeing purple and particular shades of blue and pink. ive also found out that i have less difficulty seeing some colors at a different opacity or intensity. yeah and i was pretty sad when it broke considering that the thing was pretty expensive (like $2100 or $2300 but i got a full refund). also i usually draw (or drew) sci-fi stuff and have only been drawing (or at least attempting to draw) animals/furries/people for the last couple of months so im not very good. (i found quite a bit of my old sci-fi art in a couple of my school books). im also not sure about something mabye you would know, would the pictures look better only in pencil/arcylics or does it give it a better affect outlined (like my avatar). also i don't really have that much time to draw (and i don't really like drawing at school my school is very sterotypical and isn't exactly "furry friendly". the only ones that don't mind it are my friends its so nice to have good friends.) so i guess i adapted my self to draw quick lol.

jad'thor: Oh well, I've been drawing animals and furry stuff for a bit more than a year now. If you just keep it up, I'm sure you'll improve at drawing animals and such.
Well, what would look better? Without any examples of every coloration style, I can hardly say what might look better. ;)
But I think you should draw or paint things simply in the style you like. The medium doesn't really matter as long as you're able to handle it.

Aaaaand here we go with the picture I finished about 5 days ago. The original version (you can find it in my galleries on DeviantArt and FurAffinity) has nipples, but I removed them for this forum (and because it's always good to have some g-rated versions in my galleries). :)
It's called "The gate of dreams". What do you think will await you behind it?
I tried something new (again), I put a lot of stylistic elements of the so called "Art nouveau" (Jugendstil) into it (I really love the Jugendstil).
I guess I'll be doing something similar in the future ...
Anyways, I hope you like it.
This one will probably be for sale at Eurofurence 15 art show.
(Media: ink pen and marker on dyed bristol paper, colored pencils to smoothen the color gradients and some golden acrylics for the frame like thing)

Very cool. I couldn't really be able to do something like that at this point, lol. It's really detailed though. I love it.

Thank you but I don't think it's very detailed. :) It's "just" some outlines and a flat coloration on dyed paper (even though it took me pretty long to finish this one ...).
And well, just keep it up. If you start making about 2-5 sketches a day you'll see how you're going to improve really, really fast. (That's how I was able to learn a lot of things about animals and drawing within only one year). I'm sure you can do something like that sooner or later, just don't push yourself too hard.

An artwork doesn't have to be crammed with detail to be good. ;)

Sorry for the double post, but I made something new ...
The first one is part of a Valentine's Day gift for my beloved Eisfuchs, a little con badge. Anatomically everything but a masterpiece ... :/
And the second one is a gift for Kayjay (he's a mole) to thank him for a huuuuuuuuge favor he did me.

(I know, the image address says badger, but I just got the translation wrong. ^^; It really is a mole.)

"A female snow leopard dancing in her own pace under water falling down with a very special melody in mind."
I wanted to draw a piece that fits the title "Silver Symphony" and had already the rough color concept for it in my mind ... but I didn't know how the finished piece should look like. After I listened to the song "L'aprés midi" (Amelie) I just thought "That's it!". I saw this piece in my mind as you can see it now (I know that I'm crazy, so there's no need to tell me that. ;P).
So I decided to draw and to participate in Cottondragon's contest (originally I had no intention of joining, but after I got inspired by this song I thought I'd give it a try).
Anyways, here we go again with the "Art Nouveau" (Jugendstil) theme.
(Media: ink pen, marker, colored pencil and some silver acrylic paint on dyed bristol paper)
It will probably be for sale at EF 15 Artshow.

Sorry for the double post and for reviving this thread all of a sudden.
I've been ill for quite some time now (a couple of weeks), so I wasn't able to draw or upload anything for a long time. Yesterday, I was finally able to finish something new to show you. Time was running short for this picture because it's supposed to be a contest entry ... or so I thought. I thought the deadline was yesterday ... actually, the deadline is in about 2 months ... I was in a rush while doing this one, so there are a lot of things I'm not satisfied with (such as some anatomical issues).
But I hope you like it anyways. :)
(A big thank you goes to WingedZephyr for her comment on DeviantArt which reminded me that I can post this picture here, too.)

Oh, yeah, the image! Sorry for the long text!

Hey guys, it's been quite some time and I hope you didn't forget about me. ;)
I've been really busy over the past few months since Eurofurence is drawing near. Anyways, please enjoy my newest pieces. :)

I had the honor to illustrate this year's MMC's (Mephit Minicon) conbook centerfold. The theme was "Voll auf die Zwölf!" (meaning something like "Right into your face!"), I'm not completely happy with the way it turned out. But since I was running out of time there's no helping it, I guess. The original size of the piece is A3 (about 11,7"x16,5"), it was sold at MMC 12 art show. Limited jumbo prints (A3, 50 prints, 10 Euro per print) are available.

The following two pieces were done for this year's Eurofurence which has the theme "1001 Arabian Nights". The snow leopardess originally has a nipples but since the conbook as well as this forum only allows g-rated material, I decided to edit the picture a bit. You can see the version with the nipples (as well as another picture of a vixen that's nude) in my Furaffinity gallery. All those will be available at EF 15 artshow:

http://www.eurofurence.org/EF15/contest/EF15_Contest_QueenOfBlue_PanHesekielShiroi_small.jpg

Yet another piece for EF, it well be for sale at the art show there as well. I really enjoy doing line arts every now and then:

And the next picture iiiiiis ... no, this time it's not a piece for Eurofurence! A good friend of mine had birthday just recently, so I decided to draw her character. I gave it to her double matted and framed, I was really happy when she told me she loves it. :)

So ... those are only a few of the pictures I did in the time while I was away. For more pictures (like other line arts, badges, etc.), please visit my Furaffinity account: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/panhesekielshiroi/
Have a nice weekend everyone! ^.^/

Great job. You're art is amazing!
I wish i had the skills and patients to do all that.

Awww, thank you so much! :)
It takes indeed some patience to do that, but it's not thaaat hard to learn. Just take your time while drawing pictures and put all your feelings into them should help for the beginning. Don't rush things or you won't be able to show your true potential. :)

Oh well, just take your time to learn things at your own pace and you will see that not everything you find hard to do now is really as difficult as it seems. And it's a good thing that you feel proud of what you get done, please keep that up. :)
