Title: The SAT

So I just finished the SAT 25 minutes ago. I was taking that test for 4&1/2 hours straight. My brain is fried... Anyone else out there who has taken the SAT and knows exactly what I'm going through?

I've taken the PACT, ACT, and recently the PSAT. I still haven't gotten my results yet from the PSAT and I took it in October sometime.

Yeah. Definitely one of the longest 4 1/2 hours of your life.

SAT?

is that like the Grade 10 Literacy test that you need to pass in order to go  to the next grade?

I don't recall doing the SAT test in school o.O

It's a test you take before going to college, and it's required that you take it to get into most colleges. It's called a reasoning test, but I don't see why. It mainly consists of an essay, math, vocabulary, spotting errors in sentences, and a few logic questions. The essay prompt was [removed] I was only given 25 minutes to plan and write a one page long essay.


Sharing questions and essays is prohibited by the college board until the tests are posted online according to the SAT website: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/testday/test-security.html

I am being pressured by family to take ACT's and/or SAT's this year

Ah i see..i never took College..

reason being I did what I would've done in College in my grade 12 all day Co-Op

I've taken the PSAT and got my results back on Friday.
I got 1250.

The essays are fairly easy though.
