A history on my newest character, Livor Mortem. (Also known by Firix Arenas~ Firestar)
Prologue
       The little child watched the fire climbing higher, listening to the screams with a twisted smile on her face. She enjoyed hearing others finally get what they deserved. At 12, she was a trained pyro, born and bred. Letting the last scream fall silent, she threw the last of her things into the fire eating away at the building she'd called home and turned to leave, tears starting to stream down her face as she felt her break into a thousand or more pieces...
~~TWO YEARS LATER~~
      Another flare snapped back at her, causing the teenager to go blind momentarily. Firix threw the lighter to the ground, cursing a blue streak as she felt it creep up her spine; that familiar feeling of fear and equal peace. The fire climbed higher, singing her human skin. She felt nothing, never did anymore. The thoughts were gone, the insatiable urge to burn everything is sight left as well. Feeling the first of a long line of storming emotions, Firix put the fire out and brushed off her hands on her pants leg. She could tell when the anger would kick in; right after the happiness faded to nothing. Her eyes reflected the color of a raging storm of yellow, orange and red: blending together in a dangerously beautiful dance of fire and unquenchable hunger for acceptance.
      As she felt the fire inside her slowly fade in ferocity, Firix shook her head to clear her mind and stooped to pick up the lighter, anger flashing, controlled, through her eyes the color of burnt amber. The lighter clicked and she smiled, the flame licked at her skin. She shivered with anticipation, hoping to set something else on fire. Being inattentive as usual, Firix realized only too late that the flames now engulfed her entire body. She watched in amazement as the fire slowly licked away the human flesh; exposing the black and crimson marked fur below. The anger subsided, her fingers clenched and unclenched; renewed energy coursed through her. As the
