If you've ever played the game, you should know how this will go down. This is on the same continent as the original Fire Emblem.
There has been an uprising against man, the "furred ones", as they have been called, have led this charge against the humans. Ostia and Pherae have allied themselves with the furred ones in order to end the tyrannical reign of the nation of Bern. Bern has been hunting down the furred ones and slaughtering them without mercy. This had brought about a war engulfing a small part of the continent. If it continues to spread, only one race will survive this conflict.
If you choose to fight alongside the furred ones, you will start off in either Ostia or Pherae. If you choose to fight against them, you will start off in Bern. The humans have the standard job list. The furred ones have most of those choices except for a few.
Human Job List
Mercenary: basic sword wielder(more powerful)
Myrmidon: basic sword wielder(has a better chance of a killing blow)
Fighter: basic axe wielder
Archer: basic bow and arrow wielder
Thief: wields swords and can pick locks with the right equipment(lockpick)
Cavalier: Wields swords and lances from horseback[human]
Pegasus knight: Weieds lances from the back of a Pegasus(weak against arrows)[human]
Dragon Rider: Wields lances from the back of a dragon(weak against arrows)[human]
Nomad: An archer on horseback[human]
Knight: heavily armored lance wielder. Is very slow.
Pirate: Wields axes and can easily traverse water
Mage: Wields Anima magic(elemental)
Monk: Wields Light magic
Shaman: Wields Dark magic
Priest/Cleric: Uses staves to heal wounded allies.
Bard/Dancer: Can restore an allies energy orcast a ward on them.
The furred one's extra jobs:
Brawler: Fights with tooth, fist, and claw
Feralist: Can transform into the feral form at will
Summoner: Can summon a feral animal to help do your bidding
Now, each weapon has a weakness. Swords are stronger than axes, axes are stronger than lances, and lances are stronger than swords. Archers can't attack units that are too close. If someone get up close to your archer, you'd better run. Some magic is stronger than others. Anima(fire, thunder, ice, and wind) is stronger than light magic, light magic is stronger than dark magic, and dark magic is stronger than Anima.

I packed up my bag, only packing essential supplies for the trip to Ostia. I slung my bow across my back, shouldering my quiver as well. My clothes not resembling the nobility I was. I packed a pouch full of healing concoctions in case I got wounded. I slowly made my way out of my room, silently sneaking down the stairs so I wouldn't wake up my parents or give our my presence to the guards. I slowly made my way through the shadows, avoiding guards was a must. I heard a clanking like the sound of metal against stone. I pinned myself against a pillar and held my breath, not knowing who it could have been.

I stand up slowly, my blade sliping from it's rest atop my leg and bouncing off the stone pathway, secured by the scabbard whos metal tip made a clanking noise in the darkness, i mutter a curse under my breath as i try to hide behind a pillar least someone see me, i may be employed here, but i was fairly sure i wasn't supposed to be out this late, maybe i should just go to bed, i could always visit scyler in the morning, he had said something about traveling last night and i wanted to ask him what he had meant...

I peeked put from mybehind the pillar and saw no one. I quickly ran into a more shadowed area, not making a sound as I padded across the floor. I kept a look out for any other furs or humans in the area. I saw a shadow pressed up against a pillar. I slowly crept closer, trying to see who it was, hidden by the shadows.

Sits in the court yard and watches the stars. Hears a clang and quickly jumps up and looks for the sound.

I slowly turn around to leave, satisfied that nobody is in the imediate area, i start to walk back to my room, my face lit up a bit by the moon as i walk, my footpaws making no sound as i sneak along, out of the corner of my eye i see motion and a flash of orange, i freeze in place and turn to look...
(hey seth, our fur's know one another k? you can decide how well)

I notice him turn around, seeing his face lit up by the moon. I breathe a sigh if relief and slowly move from the shadows. "A... Andre, is that you?" I whispered, trying not to alert any more guards.

Looks around and notices no one sighs and walks back to his room.

(kk, best friends)
I instantly relax and walk over to scyler, recognising his voice in the darkness "yeah, it's me, what are you doing out here this late?" i whisper

"I'm going to Ostia, I need to speak with their lord. I'm the only one who can do this. Don't try to stop me, Andre." I put a paw on his shoulder, looking him in the eyes and showing only determination. "I must go, no matter what..."

Decides not to go to bed but to practrice in the courtyard some more. Goes back to courtyard and practices with Nero.

I look at him and nod "I can see you have made up your mind on the issue, but if i cannot stop you, let me go with you, at least then i could ensure your safety"

"I looked him in the eyes, seeing that he wouldn't let me leave without a guard. "Okay... You may join me. Just don't fall behind." I slowly padded up to the courtyard door, looking out and not seeing anyone out there. I greased the hinges and opened the door, quickly slipping out and dragging Andre behind me. Then, I saw another guard in the courtyard, practicing his swordplay. "Dangit! We're busted, Andre!" I whispered in a panicked voice.

I look down on the figure in the courtyard "no.. it's okay, that's jinx, he's a friend of mine, we sparr together sometimes, he won't stop us, in fact he'd problably join us if he saw what we were doing" I look at scyler with a 'what should we do?' look

As my blade sang through out the night everytime i slashed and lunged i heard whispers and putting my blade away. "You do not have to hide."

I froze, my breath getting caught in my throat from fear. "Uhh... Hi?" I slowly walked out into the courtyard, looking at Jinx as he sheathed his blade.

Kept face expressionless and one hand on my blades hilt. "Good evening. May i ask why you are out here?" See Andre and relaxes slightly. "Ahh Andre. Why are you two out on a night like this?"

I step forward and look from seth to jinx before responding "we are leaving... scyler has important buisness abroad and i am accompanying him, if you wish to join us and scyler does not have a problem with it you may, but don't try and stop us"

"Hmmm." Removes hand from hilt. "Alright i will join you. Its getting boring around here anyway. I do not think we've meet. I'm Jinx." Puts paw out to Scyler.

I took his paw in mine, shaking it. "I'm Scyler. We'll be heading out to Ostia. I have important business to attend to." I strode out to the castle gate, slowly opening it and slipping out, the guards on the night shift had fallen asleep. I slowly stole away into the night, hiding behind a nearby tree and waiting for the others to join me.

I run to scyler and hide near him "so.. what is the plan then? shall we get as far as we can in the night?"

"Yeah, we have to get as far away from the search party as possible. If they find us, you'll lose your jobs and I'll lose you guys." I ran off into the woods, running softly as my feet barely touched the ground. I jumped up and grabbed a nearby tree branch, pulling myself into the tree, looking for the quickest route to Ostia. Unfortunately, there was a small group of four human bandits blocking the road. Three had axes and one had a sword. "Guys, we've got company. I can take out two with my bow but I need you to sneak up and get the other two." I quickly jumped into a tree closer to the bandits, unslinging my bow from my back and pulling an arrow back. "Ready...?" I whispered, barely audible.

"ready.." i whisper back, drawing my blade and vanishing into the night, waiting for scyler to drop the ones he can so that i can end the other

I let my arrow fly, burying it right into the chest of the bandit holding the sword, not killing, but wounding him. I quickly loaded another arrow and let it fly. This time, it buried itself in his head, killing him instantly. "Go!" I whispered loudly to my companions, loading anoher arrow for the next bandit.

I slip from the darkness beside them, two massive cuts into the first bandit's chest followed by a quick thrust into his side ends him quickly, i roll away into the bushes and darkness, waiting for scyler or jinx to finish the other....

I let fly two more arrows, burying them in the chest of one of the two remaining bandits, ending him. I drew my bow again, aiming at the last bandit, waiting for Jinx to make a move.

Smiles and vanishes to repear behind the bandit and in one swift move knocking the bandit out with my reverse blade.

I jumped out of the tree, slowly and silently padded over to the slain bandits. I pulled my arrows out of the fallen bandits and wiped them clean. "Ok, now that we've taken care of that, shall we continue?" I motioned for Andre and Jinx to follow me as I stole off into the night in the direction of Ostia.

Jumps into the tree and follows as look out.

I re-sheath my cleaned blade and run after him, my footpaws making no sound in the night as we hurry to our destination, wary of any gaurds that may be about

I run into a clearing, a good place to rest for a moment. I notch an arrow to my bow and look around me, making sure no one was waiting in ambush.

Sits atop a tree branch over looking the clearing. When i see a shadow in the bushes and i signal Scyler.

I fade back into the night and await scylers signal, ready to strike down or subdue the stranger in the darkness

I see Jinx signal and I nod in reply, drawing the arrow back and aiming at the bush. "Show yourself." I kept my arrow fixed on the bush, waiting for the one in hiding to emerge from the bushes.

Climbs out of the tree and goes to a nearby tree near the bush and waits siletnly.

I silently move behind the figure and shove kick them into the clearing so everyone can see their face

ghost walked out, her clone copy of her self that andre kicked reabsorbing into her, she stepped out her arms raised, a sword on her hip, wearing a dark gray green cloak, "hey i don't want any trouble" she said smiling

Steps out of the bushes with hand on the hilt of Nero.

I spin around and step back my paw on my blade's hilt, not menacingly, but in plain view "who are you?"

I keep my arrow fixed on the angel ghost, ready to fire it into her. "Who are you...? Tell us and you'll live..."

"i'm known as ghost" she said not sure if thease people would hurt or help her, she was a theif, she looked over at the tiger, she reconised him and bowed "master swiftclaw it's a honor"

Looks at Scyler then back at Ghost.

"Ghost, it's an honor to meet you." I put my arrow back in my quiver, walking up and taking her hand in my paws, shaking it thoroughly. "Would you care to join us? We might need more allies for our journey."

Looks over at andre sighs and shrugs and removes hand from my blades hilt.

I step forward and offer my paw "I'm Andre' and yes, we could use another on our quest"

"begging your lords pardon, but i could be a spy, or part of the other side, i wouldn't trust a thief anyway" ghost said reciting some words she had heard once shaking the tigers hand "ides how do i know you just wouldn't put me in the gallows right now" ghost asked ready to phase away if this got hairy (or furry)

I grinn "because dear, we could kill you if you tried anything, having a spy from the enemy this close is a tactical advantage, snooping goes both ways after all, and it is rather rediculous to send scyler himself and only two other men to go arresting theaves and petty crooks"

"I wouldn't send you to the gallows. Besides, that cloak would only be worn by a supporter of the house of Pherae. Also, seeing as how you called me master, you pretty much gave yourself away. Now, will you join us or not?" I nocked the arrow to my bow again, holding it ready to draw and fire at a moments notice.

Silently goes back to the trees and climbs one to keep an eye out.

ghost looked icily over at the dog, she turned invisible and flew up to a tree, bacame visible again "my name is phantom falcon, leader of the court of thieves" she was a thief, but that didn't mean she wasn't as pig headded as one of the nobel houses. "i'd be happy to accompony the prince of pherae, what would my court do if the poeple we stole from didn't have 2 gold peices to rub togeather" she asked smiling and jumping down again, that would happen, after this man, the whole kingdom would fall apart, every one besides a secect few could keep any number of people out of trouble, the court of thieves was a mess before she took over a few months ago

I laugh at her display "Interesting, and you raise a good point, as does scyler, so... we are in agreement? you will join us?"

"well i'm not going to let my leige walk off on a quest with out capable people" she said smiling "hey nothin personal, i just have a deep grained idea, u want sommat done right, do it ure self, but i'm sure u guys are capable" ghost said nodding to the dog and jinx

Jumps out of tree. "I think we should make camp."

Gives jinx an 'are you serious' look "Yes jinx let's make camp right next to the palace as we and the prince are trying to sneak away from the area" i look to scyler "we really should go now lord, we have waisted enough time as is"

Points to the sky as it starts to lighten. "Then lets get going while we're blanketed by the night."

"you can stay at my 'palace'" ghost said laughing slightly "the court meets every so often at places, but, i live at the inn the singing song bird, the place where old costerms come every now and again, we can stay there, it's safe enough for me to stay there while the heat is on, till it's night then we can leave" ghost looked over at the dog "will this work" she asked he looked to be the leader here, next to the prince

"I think it sounds good, but it is up to the prince" I turn to scyler

I thought it over, thinking of the best option for all of us. "Okay, we'll stay at Ghost's place tonight, but we leave first thing in the morning..."

ghost bowed to the prince "follow me" she said walking silently tward town

"I'll watch from afar." Runs into the woods and watches over the group.

walks into town, not many on the streets this early, leads into a run down tavern, goes up to loft, and holds it open for the travlers, "please stay up here, if people see you outside, things might be bad" she said "i have a few things to do srry i'll be back" she said walking out, looking ovbious for the cat so he would know where to go. then walked off to meet up the the court

Watches Ghost leave and leaps down and runs quickly and quielty to the tavern and shuts the door after them.

I sit inside with Jinx and Andre, resting peacefully as I realize that this journey was now official, it was going to happen. "Well, let's hope we don't screw this up, guys..."

I lay down with one eye open and drift to sleep "yep.... let's hope.."

Sits near the door and watches the others sleep. Leans Nero on my shoulder and waits. Not a bit sleepy.

after finishing some work with the thieves and talking to her second in command she set off and reached the tavern, she silently phased in nodded to jinx set out some food and drink, and layed down to sleep, they still had about an hour till dusk set in

Sniffed the food and took nibbles of it.

<1 hour later>
I wake up, still a little tired, seeing that it is now dusk. I take a small piece of bread and munch it slowly, getting ready to leave out and continue the trip to Ostia.

yawns hearing scy wake up, she gets up and munches on some bread "tell me when your ready to leave" ghost wispered

Watches Scyler and stands keeping ahold of Nero.

I pack some food away for later, and sit next to the entrence "whenever you're ready"

I shoulder my pack and sling my bow across my back, packing some food up as well. "Lets go, we never know who or what we might run into." I opened the door and strode out, walking into the street.

ghost picks up her pack, straps on her armor, and pulls on her cloak her ears sticking through the back, jungle heart at her back and follows scy

I quickly jump up and follow close behind scyler, casually holding my unamed blades hilt as i went

Follows close behind the group.

I strode off to the edge of town, avoiding as many places as I could, trying not to be recognized. I made it out of town and looked around, trying to judge which way it was to Ostia.

I tap scyler on the shoulder and hand him a compass that i carry with me "when you travel as much as i did before working for you, you learn to be prepaired"

ghost smirked at the dog "good to know there are good people ready and capible of protecting important people" ghost wispered behind the dog

"Ok, Ostia should be West Northwest of Pherae. Let's go..." I looked at the compass and took off in the direction of Ostia, hoping we wouldn't run into any trouble.

I follow close behind, turning back to smile at ghost "and it's good to know people from all walks of life are willing to help others" I remove a small portion of the food i stashed away and nibbled on it, giving me energy, and saving the rest for later in case we needed it, i watched the trees and the path, alert for any danger, but for now all seemed fine, it would be a good adventure....
