This is the way its going to have to be I guess.
Set stubborn in our ways, never able to transgress.
All you do is just cheat and lie,
and all I ever do in response is cry.
Why can't you ever just be the first to apologize?
I know that if we continue this cycle, it will soon be my demise.
Obviously I'm nothing but a second choice,
so now, for once, I'm going to spread my voice.
The mistakes you've made are going to be your last,
because the wisest thing to do now is leave you in the past.
Unfortunatley I have to see you every tomorrow,
which always brings me the sting of bitter sorrow.
Yet, I still don't understand how I can still love you.
God, why can't I just get through?

Beautifully wrote iKero. I could visualise the ideas expressed in the poem quite easily. Having it rhyme and yet maintain the flow was a nice touch.
