I'm sorry if this sounds like a rant, but I'm sorry, it's just venting.
I am tired of civilization, I would be much happier in the back woods somewhere or an an otherwise uninhabited island.
Why? F.t.r., Milwaukee has a very high crime rate.
2, if i want a work permit, i'm going to have to wait untill they get the system repaired and face termination from my place of wmployment because i don't have a work permit.
3, the system does not work, the doctors are hmo, meaning they don't even diagnose the problem, only the symptoms.
4, i have a problem called claustrophobia, and i am feeling really freaked oput right now, people on both sides of me, and they're total strangers.
so yeah, if you know how i feel, good for you. I think I'm just going to move to neena, WI or grandmarais, mn. away from the mental midgits and incompetants.

I live in a small town...but there is a crime rate here...I live in a place totally opposite of claustrophobic..the nearest town/city is a 45 min drive...the population of my town is about 20,000...we're a very secluded town...in our whole town i think there's about 5 black families...which I find upsetting...our town needs more culture...everyone in my town looks the same...I work here too.
-
Frikking work permits suck! And the whole race issue stinks too. I live the same way as you, Paul.
-
I don't live the same way. I live near Old Lady Shriner, Old Lady Ida, an oil tycoon, and a drunk.
-
xD Jesse. You're so slow sometimes.
-
What are work permits, and why do you need them?
(Sorry for being so European :twitch: :snicker:)
-
Wokr permits are pieces of paper/cards that say you're allowed to work if you're under 18. And you need them to get work in any U.S city for money. Even though it really is stupid that we have them sometimes, methinks.

Ah, okay. Thanks for clearing that up. I started working at McDonald's at 15 myself, (even though Dutch regulations are usually pretty strict, this was perfectly legal) and have been through two jobs up until now. I just got accepted at an electronics shop, and I'm set to start on the 20th. Ironically, I turn 18 on the 24th. It saddens me to hear that you guys have to go through that much trouble just to get a job, I suppose they're there to put a stop to child labour though, aren't they? Still, that (hopefully) has little to do with you guys.

Just move to Indiana, its easy to get a work permit the offices are never crowded at least not where I live.

Here in Canada you don't need a "work Permit" the youngest they'll hire here is 16 most places but a couple places will hire you if you're 14...My little sister (15) she works at Canadian Tire as a cashier and my brother (14) has a paper route. and I (19) work at a CNC Machine shop

much grr on politics as well. I am unhappy with the worlds current situation, and feel that there is a better alternative.
-
=s Um, a better alternative? What, to the world?
-
no.. to modern civilization.
we all agree that modern technology is much murrsauce, but, there is a large problem with modern government and the mockery it has made of civilization.
reasons being: political correctness states that a pot head cannot be called such.
there is no calling black kettles black,
no calling a spade a spade.
