Title: My Writing
Post by: scarypuppy on June 14, 2008, 07:44:32 PM
My writing has recently been influenced by some personal revelations and troubles, and as such Ive been casting a bit of my intellect towards representing people's positions in life or their mind's condition.

I was wondering if my work was becoming too dark for most.

not that its going to affect my work, but I wondered what other members thought.

Not at all, in fact I think they are best that way. I said the same thing to flames and I'll say it here too. You can learn more about a character or story by the hardships, tradgedies and bad things then you can from all the descriptive words in all the world.

For example, you can say a soldier went through hell in war. Thats fine you get a basic understanding of the soldier, but if you describe his battles in all their gruesome detail you get a much better understanding of the soldier. Sometimes ya gotta write dark things to get a point across.
