Has any one here played it yet? I'm looking to buy it but I'm not sure... I am a Quake fan...just wondering if anybody else owns it

played the demo at steam, its different from quake wars, they have nothing in common from a gameplay standpoint.

quake wars is a objective based shooter, more comparable to battlefield than quake. well, quake and Enemy Teritories: Quake wars arent comparable, not even in the slightest.
