hi i'm faolan! i made my account a bit ago but am just now getting around to introducing myself!
i'm awful at introducing myself in long form but i've discovered that listing off "quick facts" about me has been easier to get the conversations going:
- i love rats! i am very passionate about pet rats and city rats! i am a part of a group in my community as a rat ranger who volunteers and helps teach others ways to help around their communities with rat mitigation (such as: if you notice holes in your garbage cans, it's time to replace them lest the creatures and critters invite everyone for a buffet meal! XP)
- i also love leeches. in fact i feel as if i'm an advocate for all the "weirder" creatures out there. they're fun i love them.
- i'm a barista! it's a fun job where i get to talk to new people everyday, but it's also a little exhausting because i talk to so many people over the course of the day/week.
- i love being creative, i recently picked up crochet and decided that as summer is starting that it's the perfect time to make a new hat X3 i'm pretty sure that i have about 3 or 4 projects in progress or just on hold... i also cross stitch and have a few pieces that i finished a couple of years ago and i have quite a few pieces to start. i love buying patterns it's bad XD
- i read a lot so much to the point where my yearly reading goal keeps getting pushed out by 30 more books... every month and a half or so. whenever i go to the library it's usually to drop off my stack of books from the last trip to pick up a new stack of books in about the same amount
- i usually play a lot of different video games (HUGE fan of MMOS :D) but a lot of my time is currently being spent towards fully completing dynasty warriors 9. i bounce around between pc and console, but prefer pc just because its easier for MMOS when i'm in one of my moods for that.
- i have a cat named peep. she's round and loves to sleep on the windowsill or on my partner's pillow <3
- i am in the process of going back and getting my bachelor's degree. i took a year off after getting my associate's last year and i am ready to go back! ^_^
- i LOVE miniatures. my dream is to one day own at least one full re-ment set and maybe a full make it mini set. they're both so fun in their own different ways but as long as it's a miniature of something i'll go crazy for it.
