Hope everyone enjoys this RP. I had to think for a while before I could come up with a topic, then I thought of something I watched on the Discovery channel, and this is what became of it.

Story description: After humanity's foolishness, nature stepped in and took life from that which had abused her, and all those that could of the remaining humans fused themselves with the animals, for that was the only hope of survival...
Nature had some secrets man wasn't meant to find...

And now, I'll begin.
Name: Mai.
Origin (previous human, one of nature's secrets, other): Previous human.
Species/Race: Arctic wolf/silver wolf.
Home: She's a wanderer, but she mainly stays in the Americas, particularly North America.
Brief back story: She used to be a human, a scientist actually. They had been doing different tests based on things they discovered in or about nature but only select people knew what a certain test was. She had been studying animal genes and how to modify them to change traits in animals...but she hadn't known that what she was researching would change her life forever. She was asked to be a test subject for one of the tests, and she said yes. The test was performed and, gradually, she started turning into animal (except she could walk on two feet and still had human hair which just changed color and she could still wear clothes, if she wanted). Apparently, the test had been a successed for the one who had conducted it, but now she was looked at somewhat like a freak in most cases, except for by the people who made her that way. Just a week after her transformation was complete...the existence of the human race ended and nature took the world back. She has grown tough, strong, and vigilant over the time that has passed.
She wandered around through the dense forest that once was New York City, walking on two feet just like she would if she was still fully human. She surveyed her surroundings with all her senses as she moved quietly. She had grown more grateful that that test had been performed on her over time. If it hadn't been, then she'd probably be dead right now. She heard a snap to her right and quickly turned to see what it was. "Just a rabbit..." She mumbled to herself as it hopped off. She didn't need to hunt it down since she had already filled up on a deer. She turned back in the direction she had been going and continued to move on quietly.

Species/Race:Ogre magi
Home:none
Brief back story:As one of the few left of his kind, he took all the lore that he could receive from nature (contact me for the secrets) his great crimson cloak donned around him, he went and sought out survivors.
Atop a great building he stood, his great robe flowing like blood spilt upon a sacrificial alter, his gaze took to the form of one of the humans experiments, a wolf hybrid. As he silently stepped off the drop of 3,000yards his form dissipated taking on his gaseous form for 1,000yrds, he calmly re assumed his corporeal form and fell silently to the forest floor.

She felt a disturbance in the forest, but when she turned in a full circle to see what it was, she couldn't spot anything within her range of site. Could be behind some trees... She thought to herself. But she wasn't taking any chances looking for something when she didn't know what it was or anything about it. She didn't want to be caught standing still, but it was likely that she could be caught if she ran too. She began to walk slowly and still just as quietly through the forest in the same direction she was going before. She would run only if it was completely necessary.

Name: Tezztor
Origin (previous human, one of nature's secrets, other): One of Nature's secrets.
Species/Race: Raptor/Lizard
Home: Tribal community in the Marshlands
Brief back story: Hidden from human eyes for centuries, the raptor trips of the marsh have prospered. Now that humanity has met is fate, his tribe spreads outward claiming relics and lands. Tezztor is a exceptionally skilled melee fighter, very fast and tough. Though he carries no weaponry.
Description: Tall but sleek and agile Raptor. Mostly Aquamarine with a teal underside.
Black dragon horns on each side of his head and a black dewflap unique to his heritage.
Two fingers and a thumb and large claws on each hand and two toes and a cutting claw on
each foot with large talons. He has magically resistant scales and a immunity to mind tampering.
His eyes are very strong and can see very well, they are neon green in color. He does not use
any weapons for he is a master of tooth and claw martial arts. He wears a red sash in front,
and in back which drapes around his long lizardine tail. He wears only minimal protection as he
doesn't like the restraint of protective armors. (Copy and Paste for the win heh)
Tezztor stands there on the edge of the forest, checking the air for strange scents. He was sent to scout these lands for possible habitation as well as any lost human technology relics.

Moving silently towards the experiment, he jumped to a tree behind her and perched there, waiting.

Her ears twitched. She could sense that there was something behind her, watching her. She turned around slowly. Nothing. Her senses couldn't be playing tricks on her, could they? They hadn't failed her before. She stood there in silence, still looking in the same direction, not knowing that the one who was watching her was actually above her.

With just a slight wave of his hand, he shrouded the area around her in total darkness, and with another, became invisible, jumping to stand behind her

She spun in circles slowly, trying to figure out what was going on. She wasn't going to panic, not yet at least. She had gotten very good at controlling her reactions to things and emotions. But she couldn't figure out what had just happened. It seemed like some kind of magic.

A hoarse laugh echoes around her "You are not of natures chosen few, you are born of human science, you senses undeveloped, let your instincts take over."He jumped away and dispelled the darkness.

She turned so she was facing him directly as he spoke to her. A tiny chill ran up her spine and her look toughened. She followed the faint sound of him jumping away as he dispelled the darkness. "Who are you? What do you want?" She asked the invisible ogre magi, as she stried to follow him.

Moving faster than he anticipated he would need to, he dispelled the invisibility and assumed his gaseous form and let the wind take him deeper into the forest.

She continued her pursuit, running faster and faster. Did he just turn into gas? She thought to herself, then shrugged and continued following him as he let the wind take him.

Once he was sure he had lost her, he re assumed his natural form and went to the building he was using as a base of operations, he opened the door and shut it, re concealing it in vines. Opening some human provisions, he looked at all the weapons that the humans had created and stored here, and thought of how much death and destruction these inventions had caused.

Her chase brought her to a building, but the gas was nowhere to be seen. She sighed, went over to a large tree, and sat down under it against the trunk to rest.

Sensing her presence, he kicked the door open and beckoned her to him

She looked up when the concealed door was kicked open. She slowly and cautiously stood up and walked towards him when he beckoned to her, not knowing what to expect.

He grinned, His ivory white fangs glistening, he spoke only once. "Come and bear witness to that which caused your ultimate downfall.

She pretty much knew why the humans had died off. At least, she thought she did, but it was possible that she could be wrong. She moved over to him at a more normal pace now and stopped when she ended up in front of him.

for years a leader of his people and hidden underground, only he risen from the underground to catch up on whats in the world in current days. a feirce worrior of master perportions. his people slaughtered by humans in a battel for land only he survived. one day he rises and sees nothing moderen.... he now roams the land by himself in serch for something ...what he knows not...

He calmly grabs her and sets her down in the abandoned military base "You must find out why nature did what it did for yourself, i cannot tell you." And in a flash, he was gone, no scent to follow, no tracks to trace, nothing, as if he never even was there.

he steps into a forrest type area, shady as he is he jumps into a tree and up the tall branches he goes till he reaches the top and looks out over the way

Tezztor gazes upon the leafy wall before him and enters the forest. Every so once in a while he claws at the bark in the trees marking his directions. After a while of sneaking through the dense underbrush he came across a peculiar yet familiar scent. "Magic..." he muttered to himself. "Foul sstench ahead, what lies there?" He walked cautiously torwards it till he came to a small house.

Her forehead scrunched up some as she thought to herself. She stood up from where she had been seated and looked over the equipment that was in the room. She moved closer to some of the equipment, running her hand along the things which were covered in a thick layer of dust. She picked different things up and started examining them.

seeing a building of runndown porportions *lets see whats there* he thinks to himself as he hops from treetop to tree top

It was hard to hear through the thick walls of the old, abandoned military base but she could faintly hear something approaching the building through the trees. "Hmm...probably just a squirrel or something..." She said to herself, although it did sound like it was bigger than that. She continued to look over the old equipment, examining each thing, seeing how it had brought about the end of the human race. At least, the equipment had brought about the death of humans that weren't turned into hybrids like she was. She was still glad that she had been changed into a hybrid though. She'd rather be alive than rotting somewhere because of something her own race had done to themselves. She sighed and kept up her examination.

finaly reaching the building he lands on the roof creating a big thump "damnit my knee is still screwed up" he says out loud to him self as he draws his slick stelth sword just in case

She looks up towards the roof quickly after hearing the thump and hearing someone speak. "Definately not a squirrel..." She half-mumbles, half-whispers. She could go and investigate but she decides to stay where she's at since she know her surroundings there.

he sees an air vent and jumps in to it breaking through the metal gate from the inside, he heard some one speak wile he was on the roof due to his keen sences so he vuickly vanishes and scans the area arround him compleatly invisable and untraceable

She hears the breaking of something which she would assume to be a metal gate in an air vent. She turns her head towards the sound but doesn't move from where she stands.

as he scans the room in his invisable state he can hear a heart beat but sees no one so he stays as he is and scans around somemore

She can't see a figure in the direction that the sound came from but she knew that someone or something was there, most likely trying to figure out where she was. She still didn't move from where she stood. If she stayed here long enough then her visitor would either come looking for her or give up and leave. It'd most likely be the first one though, at least, that's what she thought.

he picks up the vent cover and slams it shut giving the impression of his departure but hovers over an area were he can see all angels still untraceable and invisable

She narrows her eyes when she hears the slam of the vent again. She didn't believe that her visitor had left, so she stays vigilant, but she returns to examining the old weapons, using slow movements.

sencesing the movment he thinks in his head *gotcha* he appears in front of her with his sword to her neck "whos r you?" he says quickly and meaningfully

She keeps her chin up with his sword against her neck. "Mai. Wolf hybrid created by a lab test by my fellow scientists." She examines him with only her eyes and her other senses. "And you are?" She raises an eyebrow.

taken by suprise by his pray aking the questions and hearing a question he hasent heard for years he simply answers "i.... im just a remnanet of what used to be" he says simply as he lowers his sword but still prepared and watching her

She could tell that her question took him by surprise. "So..." She paused. "You don't have a name?" She asked him, interested.

bitterly he snarls back raising his sword again and pointing it in her direction "what does it matter to you?"

She raises her paws slowly in defense. "Whoa. Don't get offended. I was just curious is all. Sorry."

he raises an eyebrow "heh .... curious" he says to her in a scolding kind of way "yano curiosoty killed the cat.....unfourtunatly it wasent the cats curiosoty that killed him" he says as he lowers his sword once more being himself and talking in riddles again

Her forehead wrinkles some as she thinks about his riddle. She shakes her head a little. "So, where are you from? Or would you rather not tell me?"

he turns his face away from her as not to show the pain in his eyes "i come from nowere...." he says as he shakes it off and turns back to her "why do you have so many questions?" he asks her trying to sound irratated "and what r you doing here anyway?"

She senses that somethings wrong when he answers that question, so she doesn't drag it out. "I'm just the kind of person who is interested in strangers." She shrugs. "Well, I should say furson, but it doesn't matter." She paused, thinking about the ogre magi that brought her in here to look at these things. "Some...thing made me come in here after I chased him. He wanted me to look over these weapons-" She gestures to the weapons around them. "-to find out for myself what caused the human race's demise..." Her voice drifts off and her eyes angle away. She had started to feel ashamed of her own kind lately. They had been so advanced and they threw it all away by causing unnecessary death and destruction. They had killed themselves.

he scolds at the human race... he drops his head a bit "the names joker" he says almost as a wisper, as if he said something that has been lost anf forgotten "my people were killed" he says "by humans who were "curious" to find us and out little to ourselves undeground village" he says softly and with much pain and anger.. after saying what he says a fait tear falls to the floor

Her senses capture the drop of the tear. "I'm sorry." She says in an almost inaudible whisper.

he shakes it off quickly "its nothing and has no effect on me" he says clearly lieing to himself as well, he walks over to a window and see it is getting dark out side "are you staying here?" he says to her as he cracks his neck

She looks down and scratches her head. "I don't know if I'm supposed to or not." She says, wondering. "I guess I could. It's shelter anyway."

"heh" he says loudly "well i have to run an errand " he says acting as if not to care "ill check on you in a few hours" he says to her still trying to seem not to care "becareful there are other things in here that you dont know about"

"Ok..." She says, narrowing her eyes and raising an eyebrow.

he see her raise her eyebrow "you dont know do you?" he says to her in an almost laughable tone

She lowers her eyebrow. "Apparently not." She grabs a weapon and examines it while watching him at the same time. "And apparently it's kinda funny."

"you see" he says realising the pice of metal stuck in his paw from the metal grate "theres these little creatures around here that like to naw and rip at fresh flesh that happens to be around ...they are cute but verry annoying and can kill you" he says than groans as he pulls the pice of metal form his paw and tosses it on the ground

"I see." She says, switching weapons and examining the other one while watching him still.

watching her look at him with various weapons "im not sure i trust you just yet with a weapon" he says as he points in her direction and her paws dissapear

She holds her mouth closed as she looks at the ends of her arms, even though her jaw wanted to drop, she wasn't gonna let it. She looks back up at him and narrows her eyes. "If you're gonna take those, you might as well take these too." She says snidely as she lifts one foot.

"fine" he says narrowing his eyes as both of her legs dissapear

The rest of her body falls to the floor and lands on where he legs used to be connected. She growls, glaring at him. "Give me my legs and my paws back now, or else when you give them back later you're gonna have to make sure you have me outta this base first." She says with her teeth clenched.

he rolls his eyes "you talk to much" he says as he raises an eyebrow and her mouth dissepears from her face "ahhh thats better"

She continues to glare at him. She quickly grabs something heavy next to her with what's left of her arms and throws it at him with all of her strength. If it didn't him, she didn't really care. It was just a threat and a way to release her anger.

"woah easy there tiger" he says as he lifts his hand and the object falls stright to the floor "guess your paws and legs werent enough" he said as the rest of her arms dissapear "anything else you want to add?" he says to being aware of what could be next

She just continues to glare at him, not able to talk, throw, or anything of that nature. She tries to think of a way to get outta this situation but can't think of anything. If she tried to hop, she'd probably fall over, so she didn't even try it.

he walks over and picks her up by her sides and looks at her "well ...seeing as how you cant move or hit me.... ill move you" he says to her laughing and putting her down proped up against a coushin than sits down next to her on another coushin "cozy?" he says with sarcasem

She just gives him a dirty look, since they both know that she can't actually speak to answer his question, although she could nod or shake her head, but she didn't feel like it. She rolls her eyes and looks away.

"whats the matter?" he says than smirks "cats got your tongue?" he giggels a bit at the irony

If she had had an arm, she would've punched him in the gut right then and there. But she continues to look away from him, feeling that she couldn't stand to look at him at this moment when she was really mad and couldn't do anything about it.

he moves his paw under her chin and pulls her head in his direction and looks her right in the face "whats the matter...." he says again "cats got your tongue?"

She gives him a death glare. She might not have the mouth for a full expression, but she knew that her eyes always expressed her feelings perfectly...when she wanted them to.

he closes his eyes for a second and runs his fingers through his hair starting at his head... he stands and wals back twords the window and stares....its a full moon this night and the air is unsetteling

She watches him as he moves and then looks down at the floor once he reaches the window.

i tear rolls down his cheek and his the window sill her arms paws legs and mouth reapear and a blue light glows around his body

She moves her limbs and stretches them. She looks over at him and practically jumps off of the cushion. What's happening? She thinks, watching not able to move from where she landed when she jumped.

not a word is said as another tear hits the window sill and this time his eyes turn blue

She slowly starts approaching him. "What's going on?" She practically whispers.

his hands start to shake a bit and yet another tear falls this time seeming ly forever befor colliding with the sill

When she reaches him, she gently and slowly puts one of her paws on his shoulder. "What's wrong? What's going on?" She asks, looking at his face, trying to figure out more than just that he was crying.

he drops to his knees and leans on the window that instantly shatters into a million pices upon his touch

She kneels next to him, keeping her paw on his shoulder. She decides not to speak anymore, unless she thought it was necessary since she wasn't getting any answers anyway.

Name: Jack
Origin (previous human, one of nature's secrets, other):human
Species/Race: fox/hyena anthromorph
Home: what remains of New York City
Brief back story: Known in the underground a top class hacker, and over all genius Jack was one of the first humans to fuse themselves with animals. Unlike most though however, Jack went an extra mile to be fused with a hyena and a fox. They combined mix, along with his intelligence caused Jack to become emotional unstable, switching from methodical to crazed in a blink of an eye.
Description: Jack's body is colored in red fur with black spotting of a hyena, and a slightly more muscular build than his human form. Jack has the head of a hyena with fox ears. The tip of his ears and muzzle are black, and his eyes are a blood red. Jack has the tail of a fox with a black tip, Jack's hands and feet are shaped like a humans but has the patting like a fox's paws and the tips of his fingers and toes are black, also he has 3" long red claws that come from his fingers and toes. Jack also has a black hyena mane along his back and the top of his head. Jack stands 6'10" and weighs 250lbs.
Jack wonders alone the ruins of New York City, it had been a long time since his last meal and his desire to feed was starting to take over his mind.

another tear falls as the ground trembles and the blue light around him now turns a dull orange as well as his eyes, his once marvolous tail shrinks to a nub and his claws grow from his finger tips another tear falls glistening in the bright light of the now full moon

Sensing that this wasn't a very safe situation to be that close, she stands up and starts backing off slowly with long strides.

the ground begins to tremble once more as one more tear falls again glistining like glass shards in the moonlight now the sill he was leaning on crumbles to dust as he is now on all fours

She continues to back away, not feeling safe at all now that she sees him getting more powerful.

he stands now glowing red as well as his eyes, his claws are larg and sharp and peices of earth raish and deminish around him he looks at her and cracks his neck "im sorry" is all that mutters out in a demonic voice

She shakes her head. "No..." She turns and runs faster than she's ever run in her life, heading for the vent that he had come in through.

she runs but gets nowere as hse is lifted into the air now not able to move and brought close to him and now faceing him "do not be afraid" he mutters out and she is droped to the floor and he disintagrates

She lands with a thud. "Ow..." She looks around confused as he disintagrates.

a pile of ash lay on the floor were he once stood, the ash now floats around the room in a wind that comes from nowere and now circles her violently making a whirlwind that she can not see around

She looks at the ash at his it moves around her. She remains still as she sits there on the floor, trying her best to stay calm and keep a level head.

Jack's attention is diverted as he sees a whirlwind of ash in the distance. "What the hell?" he asked to himself. Jack the runs towards the scene to figure out what is going on.

the ash now surrounds her compleatly and is a solid as a stone wall not able to be penatrated in side the whirlwind is total black

She takes deep breaths, remaining as calm as she can and feeling lucky that she wasn't claustrophobic.

a red light now forms in the whirl wind glowing brightly but not seen out side
-
She narrows her eyes at the red light, still breathing calmly, wondering what was gonna happen.

suddenly everyting dissapears and the only thing around is white ...white everywere and her sitting in the middle of it all ... nothing but silence

She looks around her, confused. She slowly stands up and turns in a circle. She hears nothing and she only sees white. She almost blends in perfectly with her surroundings, except for her small patches of light gray fur.

Jack senses someone's presence inside the whirlwind and tries to save them, but as he tries to jump inside he is sent flying back for it was like a solid wall. "It appears now I have choice" A black metallic chain comes out of Jack's hand and he lashes it at the solid wall of ash trying to break it.

"dont be afraid" a voice echos to her in this white abbyss
the ashes continue to whirl compleatly impenetrable

"What are you doing?" She asks, still remaining calm.

"i am not doing anything" the voice says "something you must understand about ME is..." the voice stops "i am 3 different people"

Her forehead scrunches some as she thinks. "You're three people?" She asks, kinda confused.

"there are 3 sides of me my dear" the voice says in a nromal toan....he appears in front of her but from a distance "you see ive been put through many things in my life and for that i split into 3 people" he cracks his neck "there is the strong silent side...the warrior of corse... the angry demon side .... what your physical body is in at the moment.... and of corse... me the heart of my torn soul....i will be the nicest you will know of myself if you are around me,me and me long enough to know what im talking about"

She nods. "I understand." She pauses. "The three sides thing anyway. I know it would take a while to understand the rest."

"be strong and the demon wil not harm you...he will break down" he says as he vanishes and everything goes black

She just nods again and continues to stand there.

the ash disepates creating a black wall around the whole building with the same impenetrable wall...she returns to her body in the room now looking as it did when she left it but now lay the joker on the floor shaking and tattered

She breathes a sigh of relief and moves over to him, kneeling next to him. "Are you alright?" She asks, concerned.

he raises his head weak as can be can says nothing as his eyes sweel a little and a single tear rolls down his head as it drops to the floor

She frowns and puts an arm underneath his back and sits him up. "It'll be alright." She says as she keeps her arm behind his back.

"What the hell is going on?" Jack asked now puzzled as he starred at the ash covered building

nothing but a moan and a slight smile come out of him

She smiles and moves from her kneeling position to a sitting position beside him, keeping her arm behind him the whole time so he doesn't fall backwards.

unable to move he is tilted a bit and out of his shirt falls the cressent shaped moon pendent on his necklace... it glows purple for a little bit as one of the 12 stones break and crumble to nothing

She looks at the pendant curiously and then picks it up with her free paw. "What's this?" She asks him as she looks at it.

un able to answer he trys to lift his head but fails the attempt

She adjusts how she's sitting so that one of her legs is keeping him sitting up. She uses her now free paw to gently lift his head and looks at him to see if she can get an answer without words.

a voice rings in her head "the pendent is the sorce of my exzistance "the voice says "the stone that just broke is...." the voice stops not wanting to explain it than thinking to him self on the astonishment of the purple stone that did break

She just nods a little, seeing that he didn't wanna explain it. She didn't have to know after all. It wasn't any of her business.

an orange light starts to surround him as energy begins to build

She jumps a tiny bit from being surprised but continues to hold him up as his energy is building, even though she doesn't know that that's what's happening.

he supports himself up right and cracks his neck as well as turns his head and looks at her....nothing is said he just looks at her and stares in to her eyes with a confused look

She moves back away from him some, seeing that he had energy now, and just looks at him.

he stands and walks twords her still stareing into her eyes with a confused angry kind of look

She stands up as well but doesn't back away. "What's wrong with you?" She asks him, examining his expression.

he gets as close as possible face almost pressed to hers

She continues to stand where she is and look at him, even though he's too close for comfort.

"who are you really" he asks

"What are you talking about?" She asks, confused.

"you wouldent even undertand" he says and walks back to the hole in the wall were the window once was

"I am...well...I was just a scientist. Nothing special." She says as she watches him. "I don't know what else there is that you would wanna know or that's important..."

"you wouldent understand the importance of the 12 colored jewels on this pendent" he growls at her

"You could at least try to explain it to me." She snaps back at him. "I might understand it. I'm not stupid." She continues as she just stands where she has been, glaring at him.

he turns to her and walks once again "you really want to know?" he growls angerly " the 12 colored jewls on this pendent are attached to my soul....." he stalls for a second "they represent emotions that i dont receive because of who i am and always have been " this is all he says as he goes silent and walks tword the window once more

"See. I understand that in a way. Not all of it, but some." She pauses. "But I guess I should just stop talking to you since I'm bothering you so much." She turns and walks over the weapons, grabbing one to examine and sitting down on one of the cushions.

he sits on the floor and remains quiet

She examines the weapon while sitting there, trying to make as much noise as possible. She didn't like silence unless she was walking through the forest on a hunt or staying hiden from something else.

he hears all the noise she is making and gets annoyed "can you hush over there im trying listen" he snaps at her from acrossed the room

"Fine." She snaps back and tosses the weapon aside, making sure to make a final big noise after agreeing to be quiet.
