I check the 'who's online' thing a lot to see what users are doing? xD

I find it interesting. ._.

I do it once in a while too, if there's nothing else going on around here. I sometimes see other people doing it too when I look.  :P

For a while, I thought that message meant that the person was on one of the "restricted access" areas of the forum, so their activity wasn't listed. Problem with that theory though is I don't know how a "guest" could get in those areas.

hackers are a definite problem with any site. my school had some problems with one a few years back. he was scary, he could send a crippling virus over a post message. he wrecked my home computer that way and caused the schools parent organization a million or so in server damage.

i'd say the guy simply had connection issues, was filling in a part not programmed on the server (like a certain part in the acount creation process) he might've used a anonymizer like Kproxy, he could do all kinds of stuff, but you dont need to be on the site to hack it, so i doubt he was doing that...

I usually check to see whos online when I'm on the site. But I don't really check to see what they are doing. Not that I don't wonder it just hadn't occured to me. I guess it would save me time wondering if they are going to reply to a post I made or just looking at other things. I love when people reply to my posts :P
